Connie was out walking and she had

spotted a very pretty bird she was

following along after it to see where it

was

going I don't know what it is but

something around here smells wonderful

right in front of her Connie noticed a

very sad looking flower oh what what is

it you're pretty and you smell lovely

why are you so

sad cuz I'm lonely I'm stuck here all on

my

own just then a mother duck came walking

by with her three little

ducklings the flower told Connie that

she'd like to have a family of her own

just like the mother

duck but it looks like I'll be on my own

forever and

flower why does she look so sad I want

to have a family of little flowers to

love and take care of but I'm all on my

own and I'm lonely I wish that was

something we could do but I don't know

how we can

help Connie saw two happy butterflies on

a tree she decided that what the sad

flower needed was another flower to keep

her company I know what she should do

find another flower who'll be your

friend and then you won't be dad I'd

love to find a friend but the problem is

I can't move hey patch we could find

another flower to be her friend couldn't

we what do you think yes let's do it the

flower said goodbye to Connie and Patch

she hoped they'd find her a friend but

she knew it wouldn't be

easy look there's another flower over

there and it looks a B on on as well

patch no it's not what you think it is

Cactus con and Patch searched high and

low no matter where they looked they

couldn't seem to find the right kind of

flower we'll never find one will we but

right at that moment they spotted just

the kind of flower they've been looking

well we know a very nice flower who's

and very carefully he dug under the

roots of the

flower I'm out of the ground but what

now I don't know how to

back and once the fowl was safely Seated

on Connie's back they set

off this is the life riding through the

countryside the flower had spent his

entire life in the same spot he was very

excited to have a change of scenery and

to watch The beautiful landscape go

by they found me a friend oh she's the

most beautiful flower I've ever seen in

my life

the mole dug a second hole so that the

flowers could be side by side and made

sure that those roots were well

covered well do you think those two will

be happy together I'm sure they will

look at them they're making friends

already

a few days later Pat went to see Connie

so they could go and visit the two

flowers Connie it's

me Connie was very curious to know how

the flowers were getting

along to C and Patch's amazement the

whole area was covered in little flowers

with such a big family they'll never be

bored they're not lonely flowers anymore

those two are the happiest flowers for

miles around Connie and Patch were very

happy with their help the whole valley

had been turned into a garden full of

beautiful sweet scented

flowers that night Connie thought how

important it was to take care of flowers

because they're so pretty and make our

surroundings so bright and colorful
