I thought I'd lost you.

Have you ever lost anything?

It's easy to get upset when you lose something

but there are things you can do

to help you find the things you've lost.

I learned that when I lost my little toy, Hippleblat.

- He's had that Hippleblat ever since he was a Jiggle Fooley

I mean, a little Dooley.

- I just can't bear it.

My Hippleblat is my favorite toy.

I just can't sleep without him.

- It'll be okay, Dooley.

You can sleep with my Teddy bear.

But it just wouldn't be the same.

My Hippleblat is gone forever.

- It's just lost, Dooley.

Just because you can't find something

doesn't mean it's gone forever.

It's probably right where you left it.

- Do you think? Really?

- Sure. So, where was the last place

you saw your Hippleblat?

- Nick, if I knew that my Hippleblat wouldn't be lost.

(all laughing)

- What does your Hippleblat look like?

- So cute.

He's brown with little orange spots

and he's my favorite toy.

(Dooley groaning)

- My mom says the first thing you have to do

if you're looking for something

is to look carefully for it.

- When I lose something I do the same thing.

That's why it's important to put things

back where they belong.

That way, you'll know where they are when you need them.

and the kids are helping me clean up so I can find him.

- Well, it's always nice when friends help you

find something that's lost.

That must be why your letter of the day is L,

but it feels like one.

- I lost my Hippleblat and we were looking for him

but we still didn't find him.

(Dooley groaning)

- On the bright side, the ship has never zooked b*aner.

I mean, looked cleaner.

- But still no Hippleblat.

Well, at least we know he's not here.

We've been through everything.

- Hi guys.

- [All] Hey Dr Arvid.

- Look what I found in the yard.

- Oh, he's adorable!

- Can we keep him?

but this cat already has a home.

It was just scared and lost.

- Well, because it's wearing a name tag, see?

Pets can't talk and tell you where they belong

but if your pet gets out and it's wearing a name tag,

then anyone can find it and bring it home to you.

- I lost my Hippleblat.

I sure wish he was wearing a name tag.

- I'm sure it didn't get far, Dooley.

- [Mom] He's such a pretty cat.

I'm sure his owners must miss him.

- [Dr Arvid] Oh, I know they do.

As a matter of fact, I called the number on the tag

and they're on their way over.

So, I got to get this guy home.

(Dooley groaning)

- We cleaned and cleaned

and still didn't find my Hippleblat.

I wish he was wearing a name tag too.

What else can we do to find him?

- You can retrace your steps

- Gravity gravy, what does that mean?

- It means you go backwards

from where you are to where you were

and maybe you'll find what you lost.

- Yeah, I'll show you.

Say I want to find my yo-yo,

I'm here now,

when Dr Arvid came in, I was right here.

When Ms Z came in,

I was over there cleaning,

which means my yo-yo is right here.

- Now Dooley, where were you

before you realized your Hippleblat was lost?

- Well, I was helping M.A.R.T.I.E fix the wizzle hammer.

- Oh, maybe it's rover pear.

I mean, over there.

- No, it's not in there

But then I went to the bookshelf

to get a book to read.

I thought it would be great

to read a book to my Hippleblat.

That's when I saw that he was gone.

(Dooley groaning)

- Don't worry, Dooley.

We'll keep looking until we find it.

- My friends are helping me find my Hippleblat

but I've run out of ideas.

Hi everybody.

It's me, Dooley.

Ever since my ship landed here on Earth,

I've learned lots about your planet.

Today I learned all about

finding something that's lost.

When I lost my little toy Hippleblat,

I was afraid he was gone forever.

Ms Z brought us the letter L

and tried to cheer me up with jokes and riddles.

- What did the stamp say to the envelope?

- [All] What, Ms Z?

- The stamp said, "Stick with me and we'll go places."

- [Dooley] Dr Arvid found a lost cat

and told us how important it is

to have a tag and collar for our pets.

That way we can find them if they get lost.

And all my friends helped me

by showing me ways to find something when it's lost

and reminding me that if I put my things away,

I'll always know where to find them.
