I get three wishes, then I can wish for anything I wanted.

Whoever rubs it, gets a wish.

But what we wish for?

- Anything we want.

- Okay. Nick, you're holding the lamp.

Now what are you going to wish for?

- Hm, let me think.

I'm going to have to use my imagination on this one.

- Cool. I imagined I was a pro basketball player

and I just scored for my team.

- Hey Nick!

Uh, what are you talking about?

- No, I don't see any basketball game.

- I was using my imagination.

You know, pretending.

We're pretending we found a magic lamp.

When we rub it, we get our wish.

Nick pretended his wish came true.

- And you can wish for anything, when you pretend.

- Oh, Zoom! I just met a magic wishing fish

and he gave us three wishes.

- Oh, I know!

I wish I had a beautiful k'nurple.

- No, no no!

- Ah! What have you done?

You just wasted a wish on a k'nurple!

And what is it doing on my nose?

(Cosmos giggles)

- Well, I was just thinking of how much

you like the smell of k'nurples.

- Oh, this is horrible!

And we only have two wishes left.

- How does your k'nurple smell, Zoom?

and put the pedal to the metal.

I can feel the wind against my face as I take the curves.

and you work hard and practice.

The rainforest sounded steely twice.

(metal clangs)

- Nothing.

- Keep trying, M.A.R.T.I.E.

- No rainforest.

- Concentrate, M.A.R.T.I.E.

Pretend you're right there in the rain forest.

- Picture a rainforest in your head.

- Try to smell the smells and hear the rainforest sounds.

- Imagine monkeys, tree frogs, parrots.

- Sometimes you just have to let everything go

and just imagine.

- Marty is trying to pretend that he's in the rainforest

but he's having a little trouble.

But Zoom, that would leave us with one wish.

- Cosmos, look at my nose!

- Maybe using the second wish

isn't such a bad idea after all.

- Well, I got the wishing

and decided it would be kind of fun

if you had a k'nurple too!

I made a wish on the magic lamp

Marty the Iguana

that I was in the rainforest and...

(M.A.R.T.I.E. laughs triumphantly)

- ...my wish came true!

- Well, part of it anyway.

- Melting meteorites, Dr. Arvid!

Ooh, when kind of lizard is that?

- Well, this is an iguana, Dooley,

and I was just taking him out for fresh air.

You know, just like other rainforest animals,

iguanas love to be outside.

- Did you hear that, M.A.R.T.I.E?

A rainforest lizard.

Just like you imagined.

- Ooh! Is he really from the rainforest, Dr. Arvid?

- Yes, he is, M.A.R.T.I.E.

Iguanas love hot tropical air, trees and plenty of room.

- [Nick] He's so green.

- Now that's so he can blend in with the surroundings.

You know, iguanas are green,

just like the leaves in the rainforest.

- Oh, it's just like I hoped to pretend.

My wish came true.

It's me, Dooley!

Ever since my ship landed here on Earth,

I learned lots about your planet.

(rocket engine roaring)

- [Dooley] Today I learned all about pretending.

My friends and I pretended we found a magic lamp.

And we could wish for anything we wanted.

Mrs. Z brought us the letter W.

And wished she could go to the rainforest.

We sang a song about it that made us feel

like we were really there.

- [Dooley] M.A.R.T.I.E. had trouble using his imagination

when we tried to go to the rainforest.

But we all helped him pretend.

Dr. Arvid came by with a rainforest iguana to visit us.

That made M.A.R.T.I.E. feel like his pretend trip

to the rainforest was real after all.
