already and while the other animals

played in the woods Connie was busy

looking for a toy for

patch hat I think I found a toy it's an

old log how can we play with that Connie

Connie knew that logs float in water so

they could put it in the river and sail

it like a

boat good all it needs now is a little

sail hello there Connie hello patch can

you make us some cloth so this little

boat will sail I'd be delighted to help

Connie weaving sail cloth for boat is

spider the spider slid down a thread and

started to weave a beautiful

my boat's floating away and Patch's

beautiful little boat was washed away

down the river don't worry patch I'm

sure we can find another toy for you to

play with nearby a frog was watching a

little butterfly

play Connie brought hatch to a place on

the riverbank where there was a great

big puddle of Mud this is perfect let's

make a sculpture out of mud yeah that'll

be

fun and little animals came from all

over the wood to see Connie and Patch

making a sculpture out of

mud what do you think Connie and Patch

had made a little bear hey it's

fantastic let's play with it now not yet

we have to wait until it dries

first it was such a sunny day that the

bear set hard in no time that's it now

it's ready

hurry oh no my toy is broken never mind

patch I'm sure we'll find you another

toy to play with and one that won't

break so easily

look patch we can use these flowers and

leaves to make a great big picture the

friendly insects flew away so Connie

could play with the flowers a picture

hoay hoay I love making

[Music]

pictures very carefully Cony and Patch

chose leaves and flowers from the

pile and laid them on the ground to make

a beautiful butterfly wow doesn't it

look great and all the Woodland animals

came to admire the butterfly made of

flowers oh look what a lot of leaves you

two have got there do you think we could

have some of them to eat oh if you're

hungry help yourselves you can have as

many as you

like thank you very much Connie come on

everybody the ants carried off the

leaves one by one one until there were

none

left oh no our beautiful pictures

disappeared But Connie didn't know where

she could find another toy for

patch while the animals played in the

forest Connie thought and thought she

paced up and down but she couldn't think

of

anything it's no good I've used up all

of my

ideas and just then she kicked as stick

that was lying on the

ground wow what a great game Connie

let's do it again well if that's what

you want why

not do you want me to throw it for you

okay

go this game is lots of fun and Connie

and Patch played at throwing the stick

all day

[Music]

long and when night fell Connie thought

that sometimes it can be the simplest

things that make the best toys
