hello kids welcome to pappy land yes i

can see you hello leah and joel and

kristen and i see your faith in cameron

and all the rest of you

are you all ready for some fun in papua

land today

hey

sonny

don't you know what time it is

oh my it's blue after two it's time to

get inspired to draw

what do you say kids how should we get

inspired today

what's that you say

did you say happy scope that's a

wonderful idea

now why didn't i think of that

down scope

let's take a peek and start our day off

the papi scope will inspire us you know

give us an idea

okay girls and boys here it goes

hello papi hello peppy where are the

children don't they want to come with me

the children

come on girls and boys we're going to

woodchuckle's place

you want to go with me deep into papi

land right

well come on let's go have some fun

learn to draw and see whatever else

might happen

remember anything can happen when you're

in papi land

isn't this exciting we're in papi land

we came right through the papi scope and

suddenly here we are come on let's

journey on

hello chucky how are you today hello

peppy it's so nice to see you i'm fine

how are you

i'm doing just fine i thought my friends

and i would pay you a visit and maybe

draw a picture together does that sound

like something you'd like to share with

us

maybe i can join to later pappy but

right now i have to go inside and brush

my tooth i've got to take care of it you

know it's how i make my living you know

a woodchuck couldn't chuck any wood if

he didn't have any teeth

i understand what you mean chucky

maybe we'll see you later for now the

children and i are going to learn to

draw a picture now papi i'll see you

with the children later goodbye friends

well girls and boys what should we learn

how to draw today

chucky are you finished already

you seem very sad chucky what's the

matter i can't brush my tooth why i

can't find my toothbrush i've looked

everywhere it's gone it's gone

but i lost it

oh i'm very sorry to hear that chucky

yeah i'm very sad yes i can see that

you know you've given me an idea

look you watch me as i teach the

children to draw and i believe you'll

learn something very valuable

okay kids get your crayons your pencils

or your markers ready we're going to

learn to draw a very special picture

today

today we're gonna draw a little girl

holding a flower won't that be fun

okay let's get started i'm gonna start

by drawing the top of her head or her

hair okay

and we do that by starting right here at

this point

and doing a

curved line just like that

good

now we're going to draw her bangs

do some of you have bangs i bet you do

good

now we're gonna finish the hair by

bringing one line from here

and another line on the other side and

bring it down and stop

good

you can start to see her hair do now

can't you

good now we're going to draw her face

and we'll start by putting a line there

and one ear which kind of looks like a c

doesn't it okay

and we'll put another line here

and we'll draw like a backwards c

good

now we have to connect her chin okay so

we'll do that by starting right here

and bring that line across and stop

and at the other ear bring that other

line right across like that and stop

good

now we're going to draw her face and i'm

going to draw two eyes and a little

pugsy little cutesy nose just like you

have

and remember when we draw the eyes

they're circles aren't they okay we're

gonna draw two of them okay pay

attention

here we go one circle there

another circle there

good

now we'll put another circle inside

this circle for one eye and the other

circle inside the other circle

and that's called the pupil

the little little round thing inside

your eye that's called the pupil okay

good

now we'll draw the nose

which is just another circle just like

that

and right below the nose

we're going to make a smile and that's a

curved line that curves upward

like that and that's the smile okay

now if the line curve down

then the little girl would be sad

wouldn't she but our line's going up so

she's happy

okay

let's draw the flower now and and the

flower is just merely

a series of loops one loop

two loops three loops four loops

five loops good

now

on the inside of the flower we're gonna

show we're gonna draw a circle that's

the inside of the flower okay it's a

little round circle

here we go

and one little circle good our flower

looks so nice

now we're going to start with the little

girl's shoulders okay

and she's wearing a little dress and

basically this is the collar of her

dress and we'll put one line there

another line right there

good now let's at this point let's draw

a curved line and bring it over and stop

and at this point we'll bring it over

another curved line and stop at that

other point good

now

we're going to draw her arms because

she's holding the flower she's holding

this flower so her arms are coming

inward and she's holding the flower like

this watch

we'll start by making a curved line

right here

and bring it around and stop

and on the other side do the same thing

follow along slowly

and stop good

now

right here at this point

we'll draw another curved line and you

can kind of see her arm starting now

can't you

and we'll do the same thing on the other

side

here we go

and stop good

now we have to draw the fingers okay

we're going to have to draw the fingers

because something's holding that stem

okay here we go

and we'll also draw the stem in a little

while but let's get the fingers on there

it's just another series of loops

just like that

very good

and we'll show part of the other hand is

behind that hand so we don't have to

worry about it too much

good

does anybody see what's missing

that's right i mentioned the stem didn't

i well let's put it in there so we can

see it

and that's just a straight line

just like that

good

this is so much fun

now she's wearing a dress so put in your

pen point or your marker or your crayon

point right here let's draw a straight

line and bring it to there and stop

and let's do the same here

and bring it down and stop

good

let's connect it now which is just a

flat horizontal line

and horizontal means flat

that's right

okay

are we ready to do her legs now because

that's that looks like she needs some

legs doesn't it okay right below her

dress are her legs okay

so right here we're gonna draw a

straight line

and right in the middle right here at

this point right here we're going to

draw another straight line there's one

leg and they're together now so right

next to here to that line there will be

another line to create the other side of

the other leg good

now

we're going to put some socks on her

okay and they're folded down right near

her shoes there she's wearing socks okay

here we go and that's just one

horizontal line there

and another horizontal line right there

good

now

we'll just loop around like that and

connect it

and loop around like that and connect it

good now we have to draw her her shoes

don't we are you ready

are you following along

good

here we go

starting at this point we'll just bring

that line around like that over and up

good let's do the same thing

on the other side for the other shoe and

we'll bring that around and we'll

connect it just like that

okay

all right let's let's put a few lines in

there to show that these are kind of

like

uh pull pull-on shoes you know the kind

of shoes you can pull on and you don't

have to tie them

okay well we'll show that by just

drawing a little curved line right here

and another one right

there

doesn't that make you feel good chucky

this little girl has her own flower

yeah she's happy she's got her flower

but what about me what's that got to do

with being my lost toothbrush pay close

attention

you'll understand

did you see what happened chucky yes i

did pappy she lost her flower and she

was sad like me but after feeling bad

for a short while she became happy again

very good chucky it's okay to feel bad

when you lose something but over the

passage of time you'll feel better again

do you understand i think so

well here maybe this will help

i'm right here papi you have a song on

losing things for us i sure do then

sometimes we lose some things that we

really want to keep

sometimes it hurts so bad that we even

lose some sleep

we don't know how we lose them but we

look and they're not around we look and

look and look and look but they're lost

and can't be found

but what we must remember

is that it's not the end there still are

so many things we have and for those we

still are very very glad though for a

while we may feel bad we'll feel glad

hey peppy drew it i thought i lost you

how about finding yourself over here

that's just what i had planned elmer

good cause i didn't want to lose the

time we had left and neither do i what

are you doing with that picture you

already drew it do it you losing your

memory

no but i think i know someone who sounds

like he's lost his manners

i wouldn't say lost them what would you

say

maybe i just misplaced them then i

suggest that when you find them you use

them immediately

okay kids are you ready to learn how to

color

that was a whole bunch of fun with

chucky and fish face wasn't it chucky

really learned a good lesson didn't he

how about you did you learn something i

okay

it's time to color get your crayons if

you lost them don't be sad you can

pretend the color with your marker or

your pencil

let's begin coloring our little girl

by coloring her hair in first okay

and remember you can choose any color

you'd like to do her hair

pappy's going to color the little girl's

hair

yellow

which is basically blonde hair isn't it

okay that's a nice color to use

and let's see i have a yellow crayon

right here

and

i'm going to start right here in the

little girls

right in the little girl's hair area

here where her hair is and i will just

begin coloring that in like this

i'm going to be as careful as i can

i love to see things when they're

colored

black and white

from black and white to color it's so

beautiful because you can it's just so

bright and colorful

it's it's just

color does things from pappy pappy just

loves color i mean i just when i see my

drawing in black and white it doesn't

look as good until i color it i'm sure

that's how how it is with you too huh

boys and girls

when you color it just brightens things

up so much

very good

okay

there she has pretty yellow hair

now what color do you think i should

call the dress

did you say pink

because you like pink well that's a good

color for this little girl pink that's

an excellent color i just happen to have

a pink crayon right here all right

i'm going to color her dress pink that

was a very good suggestion

i'm glad you thought of it

okay papi's trying to stand the lines

so that his drawing

looks neat

when i give it to somebody i want them

to say oh what a good job you did on

your drawing

i'm so proud of you

wouldn't that be nice boys and girls hmm

i'm sure that would be very nice

i try to be as neat as i can

look at that that's a pretty pink dress

i just that's a very pretty color for

this dress isn't it pink is such a

beautiful color

okay

i know wouldn't it wouldn't it be fun if

we if we made matching socks

why don't we why don't we put pink socks

on her okay to match your dress that

would look very pretty but if you want

to make them a different color that's

okay too just have fun and use your

imagination

okay now she has like loafers and you

can see part of her sock here so i have

to color that in

pink also

can you see that right in these little

spots here very good

all right i'm going to make her shoes

black you can make her shoes any color

you'd like but i'm going to color in her

shoes black

if i could find my black crayon here i

know i have it here we go

there it is okay

and we'll just

color that in like that

there we go i'm not going to fill that

in all the way peppy's going to leave a

little spot right there that's going to

be a shine did you ever look at a pair

of black shoes and they're very shiny

and you can see like little white

highlights on the tip of them can't you

well we're going to try and do that in

our drawing by leaving that area white

just like that see

now now our shoes look like they're

shiny don't they

and we'll do the same thing on the other

side

and that just means

don't color it in all the way

just leave a little spot

just like that can you see that

and we'll leave that spot that's where

the tip of the the shoe is shiny or

where it's reflecting light so it would

almost look like a white dot

just like pappy's drawing

okay

and we'll do the same thing right on the

other side of the shoe the back part of

the shoe will leave another shine look

at that she has very shiny shoes doesn't

she

okay

what color should we do the flower hmm

it could be

flowers have so many beautiful colors i

think that

we have just so many choices i'm going

to need some help on this okay

i heard somebody say yellow that's a

good idea

blue light blue yes red pink oh there's

so many colors eeny meeny miny mo

yellow i'm gonna go with a yellow flower

okay

thanks for the ideas

these are the flower petals

very good

i like that this is looking very good

i'm going to uh color in

the little girl's skin now and i think

i'm going to use the color brown

remember when you color with taffy you

can choose any color you like

there's so many different

people in this world and their skin

has different colors doesn't it sure

and

papi is coloring his brown

very nice

all right

my drawing is looking good i hope yours

is too and i'm sure it is

let's let's call her in her arm now

this is turning out to be such a nice

picture maybe you'll decide to give it

to your mom or dad or to a special

friend or relative i'm sure whoever you

give it to will be very happy to see

what a great picture you've made

i enjoy calling with you boys and girls

so much fun

and we'll just keep coloring that in

hope you're having as much fun as i am

now we have to do her her legs don't

they because they're they're she's

wearing a dress so her that that would

be skin right there so we'd be able to

color that in brown also
