well hello there everybody I see you

back and Jesse welcome to you too Aaron

and Julian it's nice to have you here in

pacu lame or anything can happen hey

sunni don't you know what time it is

well lookee here do you see what time it

is girls and boys it's blue after to

time to get inspired with a new idea why

don't you like to go today to be

creative oh what's that did somebody say

the wishing wheel that's what I call an

inspired idea now why didn't I think of

that

let's all take a great big turn at

spinning a wishing well boys and girls

so we can get where we're going and I

meet up with a pappyland friend are you

ready okay ready

how would you like to visit the barn

yard work donkey Dan lives you would I

always had such fun there I can't wait

to get there to see what happens do you

remember what can happen in petulance

that's right anything can come on

everybody let's go to the barnyard

Pappy hmm now if I'm in there

and I'm in here oh

well anything can happen in pappyland

come on in boys and girls this is the

way to donkey dance place we made it

farmer girls and farmer boys smell that

fresh country air

wishing wilshire takes us to some

interesting places let's mosey down the

lane to find one of our favorite bar oh

well

your markers or friends ready to go

giggle cool

let's try to get serious for a minute

and learn how to draw a new picture

I

just love drawing with your boys and

girls and right now we're kind of kind

of settle down and enjoy your wrath and

that's a fun subject to draw isn't it

okay are you ready is everybody ready

with everything that they need their

paper and their pencils and markers and

whatever you need to draw with okay good

we ran over a so take your time all

right we're gonna start out by drawing

the giraffe eyes and there are two round

circles okay follow me now when I like

put my when I put my point down on this

pad I want you to follow right along

okay all right let's stay together here

we go one circle here and another circle

right next to it

good those are his two eyes now

something's missing I think it's the

inside of the eyes again and you can

color that anything you want they're

just too small little circles inside

another circle okay here we go one

circle here and another circle in that

spot right there okay all right now

we're going to start by making the

giraffes ears and he has big long ears

and the ears are simply curved lines

just like this follow along

and

turn the corner and come back just like

that now we're going to do the same

thing on the other side on the other eye

here we go just bring that around just

like that and curve it around and stop

right there good

now we're going to put another small

line within that ear starting at this

point and moving it right along and

stopping right on that line like that

okay and we'll do the same thing on the

other side and

stop it right there good good I can tell

you're looking real good okay now our

giraffe has two little bony horns on the

top of his head two little knobs okay

now follow on carefully we'll start

right here at this point and bring one

line straight up and

starting at this point another line

straight up to that and we'll just put

our small line in between and do the

same thing another line straight up and

right next to it another line and

connect it right there good now we're

going to put two round circles right on

top of those lines we just drew that'll

be fun won't it okay one circle here and

another circle right there yeah I hope

yours is looking as good as mine I'm

sure it is okay

let me see here let's start out by

making the snout on the strap okay and

we're going to start right here at this

point now pay attention where I put my

marker okay it's gonna start right here

below the eye and curve and stop good

now i want to put one curve line there

stop and loop around with it all loop

around like this curve in and curve out

so we looked around like that curved in

and curved out and we stopped good now

we'll put another nostril right here

just curve that around like that good

we'll show the inside of the nostril

bike putting one small little stroke

right there

good are you following along good now

we're gonna do the chin on our giraffe

because he has a chin just like you and

I do and we're going to start by placing

our point right here and

following the curve of that loop and

bringing it right to here good

wonderful wonderful now let's put our

marker or pencil or crayon right here at

this point

okay I'll hold it there do you have it

right there good we're gonna come

straight down now get ready to draw a

straight line here it goes this is gonna

be fun

stop right there good let's do it again

starting right here

let's bring it down

good

I'm gonna bring mine down a little

further

there I like that now we're gonna put

these spots on our giraffe because they

have spots don't they okay and my spots

are kind of gonna be kind of rounded

squares with little rounded corners I'll

show you what I mean watch will stop by

putting on right here

they're not exactly circles they're kind

of long gated circles and we're gonna

put another one here

and you can put a bunch of mine yours

and you can put them anywhere you want

but I'm gonna put mine right over here

right in a row and we're going to put

another one here and another one here

and another one here

it another one here

another one right there and another one

right there yeah right under that and

another one right there oh this is fun

I'm putting spots all over the place

okay let's put one right no front here

like that and another one right there

that's wonderful this is just fun

drawing together like this

okay am I missing anything here I'd like

to put maybe some hair there's some hell

the back of his neck and they're simply

a series of small little dashes or small

flat horizontal lines follow along with

me and this is gonna be fun because

there's so many of them of course I

can't do all the hairs on his head

because I don't have enough time

okay one little line two little line

three the lines for little lines five

inline-six little wine settle it aligns

little lines and I word and so forth and

just continue that down like this

good

just keep making small little lines like

that because those are the bristly roll

hairs on his neck

good so much fun trying

well

well boys and girls that's our giraffe

here in land I think I may be over

my face today giggles and it's just in

time to sing a song about laughter would

you like to sing along with the children

let's start seeing before I can stay

giggles again remember whatever we want

we have lots of labs in you and the

barnyard today doc you been

it's always good to leave them laughing

from that smile on your face I'd say

you've been up to some funny business

drew it you're right in a way Elmer

we've just had lots of glass with donkey

the end of the barnyard it looks like

you had an idea while you were in the

barnyard we did but we had fun too we

can have fun and get ideas at the same

time that's what's so fun believable

about pepie land I know I know it's

where anything can happen well there's

one thing that should happen right now

but saw you guys in color it through it

I thought you knew it it is time to get

down to coloring does everyone have

plans ready if you don't don't worry you

can use your imagination to color your

picture I hear the children have very

colorful imaginations that's correct

Elmer when I was a kid we only had black

and white ones Elmer

i'm going to start calling our giraffe

using the color

yellow

i'll start by calling in his ear

like so

and

the other ear like so

and let's do these two little horns over

here

all right

and try not to color in the your a*s I

these are silly looking giraffe isn't he

it's also looking all right let's

continue with the yellow here and we'll

bring it all the way down his face here

like this

and

coloring we'll go coloring me you will

go I already pd your coloring we will go

there oh

that's a bright color isn't it

okay yes to his other nostril hair is

Knowles and

continue down

I'm really having fun with this picture

fill that right in like that all right

it's getting there we're almost done

hanging in there all right very good

and continue with the yellow

don't call them in those little spots

though we're going to save those for

another color

all right and down with the yellow and

continue down

filling between these spots there we go

all right I'm doing the best I can

understand of those the white area those

little spots there so I don't I don't

want to mix my college right now

there we go all right now we're ready to

do the giraffe spots but i'm not sure

what color to you is I'm gonna need

little help does anybody have any ideas

about what color I should use oh I could

use brow yeah that's a good one I could

use orange that's a good one did

somebody say purple oh that's a fun

color I think that's a great idea I'm

gonna go with purple but you can use any

color you'd like feel free to use any

color you'd like here we go

I'm gonna put one

purple spot right there good

hmm I wonder how many spots we have on

our giraffe i'm going to count them

eleven box are a giraffe wow that's a

lot of spots alright let's continue

coloring I was just curious I

wasn't sure how many spots were within a

color

okay

then we'll just continue to color our

spots whoops

don't worry if your clan breaks you can

still use it see it doesn't matter if

it's a small piece or a big piece still

colors just fine

alright well that's a bright color it's

very pretty

alright and

we'll just follow that spot in there

like that and

will color this spot over here oh yo and

purple is a very lovely color I'm

beginning to think it's one of my

favorite combinations yellow and purple

ok let's continue the color here oh

that looks very good and

take your time and just follow along

and I'm sure yours will come out very

good too

ok

very good now I think I'd like to put

kind of a pink collar on the front part

of our giraffe ok and I like he has a

like a person would have a red nose well

our giraffe is kind of gonna have kind

of a pinkish nose okay here we go

well just

well pink isn't showing up very good is

it let's try red and see what that does

ok we're going over the yellow with red

and you know what's going to happen when

I put the red and the yellow

it's going to make the color orange

that's right yellow and orange or yellow

and red excuse me yellow and red makes

orange watch

see that

whoa

by putting the red over the orange or on

the red over the yellow we've made

orange I don't want to confuse your boys

and girls so it's you put the red over

the all and it makes it very nice orange

look at that

nice

very good

ok I'm going to put the red over the

yellow right on his ears and we're gonna

create a little bit of orange in here

also there we go see that very good

that's the inside of his ear

good now I'm going to take my boo grin

and

just put a circle right around the black

dot inside of his eyes just like that

yeah I'm just I'm outlining this black

dot just like that and I'll do the same

right over here on the other eye

how kind of just brush it off and clean

it and put my kranz away

and see what we have here

good

how do you like your picture now that

it's all colored in I like how it looks

you all get a great job your picture

doesn't have to look exactly like

puppies I'm so glad to see you're using

some of your very own original ideas

you're laughing giraffe picture reminds

me of a joke my great-aunt Clementine

used to tell around the campfire Oh God

yeah here goes what do big giraffes have

that no other animals have hmm a long

neck

okay I don't know Elmer what do big

giraffes have that no other animals have

their baby giraffes get it I

get it all right and now can I finish

talking to the kids

you can't in your picture up in your

room or give it to someone special like

mom or dad or maybe your next door

neighbor if you want you could send it

to me at the address you'll see at the

end of the program just remember one

thing Pat what's wrong I got the last

laugh and everyone knows he who laughs

last I know I know laughs best hey Sonny

don't you know what time it is oh

my it's quarter to Orange it's time to

put Pappy away but i'll be back and

looking for you so we can draw a special

picture together again I'm not sure

exactly what because

I know anything can happen when we are
