13x17 - Hillstrand's Last Catch

Post by bunniefuu »

[ Waves crashing ]

Johnathan:
I've done this for so long, man.

37 Years.

Hang on, hang on!
Get down!

You want to be
a crab fisherman, do you?

Well, this is it.

[ Alarm blaring ]

Here we go!
We gotta be somewhere else.

It ain't been easy.

You saved my [bleep]

You want to battle
till the very end.

Hang on, guys.

Whoo! Jackpot!

Our last season, we want to
go out with pride, dignity...

Yeah, baby! [ Laughs ]

We love you,
captain johnathan!

Man: yeah, johnathan!

We want to park the boat
and walk away like champions.

Time bandit.

Keith: time bandit?
Wizard.

Hey, keith.
What do you got going on?

Do you think you'll have
enough crab

To finish
your season there?

Narrator: five weeks into
the winter season...

I'm gonna try to get it done
right here, you know.

So, I'm gonna finish
my survey up here.

But hopefully, it doesn't
just dry up on me.

So I'll let you know.

Two veteran captains
are in the final stretch

Of their opilio marathon.

Johnathan:
how you doing?

Hopefully we're gonna have
a good pick through the gear,

And with any luck, we'll have
this season wrapped up here.

One captain is getting ready
to call it a year.

And the other?

My last season.

A career.

I can't wait
to get home, man.

Yeah, hey, look. I'm gonna
buy you a rocking chair.

I'm getting you
a rocking chair, okay?

[ Laughs ]

[ Laughs ]
that's all I'm doing, buddy.

-Okay.
-I'm so far gone.

[ Laughs ]

So, anyway, sounds like it's
gonna blow like hell out here.

Gonna be 31-foot seas
and blow east-northeast 55.

But they still have
their quotas to catch,

And between them
and the finish line,

A 300-mile-wide arctic storm.

God bless you.
Stay safe.

Okay, let's keep in touch.
I'll call you tomorrow.

All right. Okay.
All right. Okay, bye.

Johnathan:
one more time around the block.

I got one trip left
for the rest of my life.

The last trip that
I'm ever gonna do.

[ Wind whistling ]

This is as ugly as it gets.

**

Narrator:
before captain johnathan

Can kick off the last trip
of his storied career...

We've took on about
45 tons of ice.

It's just miserable.

Narrator: ...
He's got 90,000 pounds of ice
that's found a home on his boat.

-[ Speaking indistinctly ]
-it's seriously iced up.

We got more than we
bargained for right here.

Right now, we're just gonna
drift and pit, you know,

Start chipping ice
as much as we can.

Gonna be a long one.

Johnathan:
it's a tough way to make
a living, that's for damn sure.

Isn't it fun out here?

So you wanna be a crabber?

Whoa!

Mama didn't tell me there
was gonna be days like these.

Whoa.

I'm over it.

37 Years of pain and "suffrage."

You see me back out here again,

Kick me right in the nuts
and gouge my eyes out.

I'll do it myself
when we come out here again.

I'll kick myself in my own nuts
and poke my own eye.

Oh, no, it ain't good.

Get this boat cleared,
get the ice off

So we feel a little bit
lighter, feel a lot better.

Johnathan: I can't wait to pull
that gear we set

On the way
to the island here, though, man.

I went right through
three surveys that showed crab,

So the quicker we get this done,

The quicker we'll go back
and get 'em.

Narrator:
johnathan has set in an area

Where the summer crab survey
detected a large biomass.

We're so close, man.
I mean...

[ Sighs ]

Narrator: but the ice is keeping
the crab from his tanks.

Johnathan:
this is ridiculous.

We can use the crane
to pick and move up.

I'm gonna put my shoes on. I'm
gonna get that freestanding mast

'Cause I'm expert marksman.

-Right there.
-One shot, one k*ll.

Watch this [bleep]

Narrator:
through the years...

Fire in the hole!

[ g*nshots ]

...breaking ice has been a
johnathan hillstrand specialty.

Stay away
and don't come back!

I'm gonna get
my hoodie shirt on.

I'm gonna get my boots on,
help these guys de-ice.

I'm ready to rock and roll.

Narrator: and today, he reaches
into his bag of tricks

To speed up the process.

Heads up, guys.

-Yeah, baby!
-Whoo! Whoo!

**

[ Drill whirs ]

-Heads up, guys.
-Heads up.

[ Cheering ]

Yeah!

**

Johnny is breaking some ice
off the house right now

In a major way.

He's breaking ice in bulk.

[ Laughs ]

**

Johnathan:
hold on here. [Bleep]

These are not
the boots to wear.

**

Man: south wind, 50 knots.

Seas, 28 feet.

Scattered snow showers
in the evening.

Narrator:
240 miles southeast...

...on the 155-foot wizard.

Come on around, girl.
Come on.

You guys just stay hidden up
there for a minute, okay?

I gotta put her
on the port side of the ditch.

Hanging on!

**

[ Sighs ]

Back in the ditch,
back in the seas.

Back in the storm.

Write a new novel.

"My life in the eye
of the storm" by keith colburn.

A survivor of the winters
in the bering sea.

**

Narrator:
broadside to 25-foot seas,

Captain keith colburn fights his
way to the top of his string.

You know what? This is
what we fish in out here.

This is the bering sea.
It's winter.

This is what
the weather is.

It's getting harder and harder
every year

To make
a buck out here.

And this year, harder than any
I've experienced in my career.

Battling storms and bad numbers
the entire winter season...

Right now, we're on
some fresh bottom,

And I'm hoping we'll pop
some decent counts.

...the skipper is looking to
change his luck on new grounds.

We got about another 50 pots
to haul after this.

We should have probably
70,000 to 75,000 pounds.

All right, guys,
here we go.

All right,
let's catch some crab.

The first one's
coming up.

Roll the old dog on this one.

Whoa, whoa,
whoa, whoa, whoa.

No, no, no, no, no.

Coming down the rail.
A little slurper.

Might take a wave or two
here during this haul.

Eat your candy bars
or your little protein packs.

This could be a long day.

Come on, crab.

Let's see what we got here.
Come on.

Whoo! Yeah, baby!

There's a good first pot
for the last pick.

-[Bleep] yeah!
-Pow, pow!

3-5-5.

355, Right on.

It's looking good.

First pot
had 355 crab in it.

I'm hoping we can see
that through the string.

If we do, that's pretty much
the ticket

To getting this boat full

And getting this
season over with.

And there isn't a guy
on this boat

That doesn't want
that to happen.

Yeah.

[Bleep] yeah.

Go ahead and count for me,
will you, guys?

**

Watch out, watch out!

Whoa!

Hang on, hang on,
hang on!

Aah!

Man: yeah!

[Bleep] yeah!

Go ahead and count
for me, will you, guys?

Narrator: on the wizard...

Watch out, watch out!

Whoa.

Hang on,
hang on, hang on!

Aah!

You okay?

Oh [bleep] me.

Aah.

Sorry about that, guys.

I got distracted.

Oh!

That was a big one.

We just took a big,
big green one over the rail.

It clipped crosby
pretty good.

Aah!

You always love it when waves
come out of the back side.

We're all good, so I'm good.

I can't be looking 100%
of the time down there.

I've got the radar to look,
I've got the plotter.

I've got all this
bookkeeping I got to do.

I gotta multitask,

And once I think the guys
are good and safe,

I'll go to this,
but just all of a sudden,

Out of the corner
of my eye, bang.

One real big wave.

It's hard to focus on that
when you got a task to do.

Whoops.

You're kind of relying
on your captain up there,

And if he's not completely
paying attention,

Well, you could be swimming.

So now it's time to
really pay attention here.

Gotta do my best not to
take another one of those.

Narrator:
240 miles northwest...

...on the time bandit.

Johnathan: all right, man,
we're back in business.

This crazy weather.
We got southeast 25.

31-Foot seas.

Ice is just shedding
off this boat, man.

Just turned back
into black boat.

Good old time bandit,
back in black.

After clearing
his vessel of ice...

[ Sighs ]
my last [bleep] season.

I can't wait to get home!

...captain johnathan hillstrand
looks for one last monster haul

To end his career.

I hail mary'd the damn survey
by st. Matthew island.

Never done this before,
but it's my last season.

Hey, I gotta know where the hell
these crab are, you know?

This damn survey here says

There's 10 million
pounds up here.

So I set up through these
three surveys right here.

We'll see what's here.

There's gotta be
some kind of signs of life.

Or the survey's
full of [bleep]

Working off alaska fish and
game's crab population survey,

Johnathan gambled his retirement
set on unfamiliar waters

Just 130 miles off
st. Matthew island.

Burn the candle,
burn the jesus candle.

Knock on wood.

Don't know how many times
I knocked on wood today.

He's betting that his ticket
to retirement lies beneath.

My curiosity want to know
what the heck's over here,

And I'm gonna
find out right now,

What kind of life's
down here.

Survey says...this whole area
that we're fishing in

Is gonna be a honey pot.

We're gonna chill it, boy.
We're gonna chill it.

Yeah, baby!

Come on, crabs,
give it up!

Waah-waah.

We don't want this pot.

Doesn't look like
there's anybody home.

Aah!

Boo!

I was hoping that was
gonna be about half full.

Or at least have 150
or 120 or 250.

Next!

[Bleep]
sons of b*tches.

Looking [bleep]

I'm just curious to where
the [bleep] those crab are

On this survey.

Uh-oh. Uh-oh.

[Bleep]

I did a survey,

And this survey
don't match my [bleep] survey.

Survey says --
you know what?

This is the last time
I'm ever gonna have to

Look at a survey anyway.

[Bleep]

Oh, not again.

Narrator: with each empty pot
that comes aboard,

Johnathan's dream
of a big finish looks,

Well, like a dream.

That's my survey.
My survey says [bleep] you.

That survey string
was a big waste of our time.

Survey says nothing!

Nada!

Wow, that's just
disappointing.

There's supposed to be
10 million pounds

Up here somewhere.

I am not seeing it.

This thing's worthless.

Worthless information.

[Bleep] this thing.
Piece of [bleep]

Narrator: the skipper vents
his frustration...

There's the [bleep]
survey for you.

...in classic hillstrand
fashion.

...that survey and
shove it up your a*s.

[Bleep] that survey.

**

Wouldn't be the first time

Johnathan had an issue
with the government.

Might as well take the shirt
off my [bleep] back!

Here, you want this?
Take that, too!

[ Shouting indistinctly ]

...or a piece of equipment.

Can't use that
on my boat!

[Bleep]
it's all your fault!

...or anything,
for that matter.

[Bleep] skateboard's
[bleep] off the boat.

[ expl*si*n ]
-oh!

[ expl*si*n ]

Wow!

Whoo!

Holy [bleep]

[Bleep] survey can
[bleep] itself.

Taking care of that.
Yeah, neal's burning it.

He's burning that
son of a b*tch.

Just in the nick of fire.

Get it, neal, get it!
Get that son of a b*tch.

[Bleep] that [bleep]

[Bleep] that survey.

That survey, man, says --

Survey says [bleep]

Beautiful.

Curiosity sometimes
k*lled the cat.

You know what I'm saying?

Time for my fallback plan.

Narrator:
in need of a new home...

I've done a lot of seasons.

A seasoned veteran.

...johnathan takes
advantage of intel

He's amassed in almost four
decades on the bering sea.

There's an area over here
in this nice little gut here.

That's where
we used to fish.

That canyon used
to produce some crab,

So 37 years,
back to the canyon.

Go back to my little spot.

I'm just gonna go there
and dig in like a tick

And hope they don't run
out of crab right there.

Stack 'er.

Heads up!

It comes down to this.

Last chance for...

Greatness.

**

Narrator:
520 miles from dutch harbor

On the time bandit...

Set another one right here.

Going over.

I'm gonna get my set done,
our escape plan.

Yeah, baby!

After striking out
on the survey set,

Captain johnathan hillstrand
heads south to fresh grounds...

Hang on, guys.

[Bleep]

Watch out.

Narrator: ...and into the grip
of a bering sea squall.

Just, no one get hurt.

Going over.

This wind just came up.

It's blowing
in the wrong direction.

It's supposed to blow
southeast.

It's blowing northwest.

The weather came up,
sneaking up on us.

Whoa!

Sink or swim, baby!
Whoo!

Yep. I want to
get outta here.

I'm not coming out
on this rodeo ride no more.

Tired of being
in this washing machine.

I'm gonna finish this trip

And be as happy a son of
a b*tch to be going in.

I set, like, 80-mile string up
here out in the deep gut.

It's usually where
they love to hang.

This from here to here
the last 25 years.

Brings back
a lot of memories.

Going over.

Hopefully, we got
the numbers we need.

We don't fall
on our faces.

Narrator: still short of his
retirement quota...

It's never a fisher
thing, ever, ever.

...the skipper is banking
on a former honey hole

To deliver his remaining pounds.

One more chance.
Right here, this is it.

Okay, guys,
this is the last one.

We're going over.

Whoo!

Last one!

Come back loaded!

Last one set!

We're gonna fight
till the bitter end,

Trying to find
the mother lode.

This is how far we've come.
This is how far I gotta go.

Rain and sleet,
snow, 40-foot waves.

Ain't no one stopping me now.

Mailman's coming!

Narrator: 240 miles southeast
on the wizard...

[ Boat creaking ]

[ Horn blares ]

Keith: we're fishing in
bering sea weather again.

Crappy, bad visibility,

Big waves, blowing snow.

[ Sighs ]

Wizard weather.

Narrator:
captain keith colburn's fishing
has been plagued by heavy seas.

Keith: this string's one
of the two strings

We left to the east of our gear,

Right where we had really good
fishing on our opening pick.

And if we can dig 200 crab
per pot out of these pots,

I'm gonna be -- I will be very,
very happy with that.

Narrator: a good haul will
give the veteran

The numbers he needs
to end his season.

We'll see. Hopefully we get
some crab in this

So we don't have to
pick up and travel.

Keith: all right, guys.

...sucks, so just stay sharp
at the rail, okay?

Oh!

[ Line whips ]

Wild weather's picking up.

Bags are coming up backwards.

We got a whole list of stuff
that's going on right now.

Current's running through here
kind of east and west.

When the conditions
are just right,

It's almost impossible
to get that buoy in.

Narrator: the bering sea isn't
willing to give up its bounty

Without a fight.

Gonna be a pain in the butt
to haul this gear.

Narrator:
strong ocean currents generate
immense downward pressure

On the pots.

[ Line snaps ]
-oh [bleep]

Keith: oh, come on,
get it over the rail, guys.

Come on,
come on, come on!

Watch your feet,
watch your feet!

Gotta be [bleep]
kidding me!

He's got it, he's got it.

Aah!

Watch your feet now!
You're all in it!

Whoa, whoa, whoa!
Holy [bleep]

[Bleep]

That's a big man
to get towed across deck

By a set of
[bleep] bags.

I haven't been zipped
across deck like that

Without a wave being involved.

Keith: the thing is this.

If crosby's tangled up
and goes with that buoy,

He goes around that block,
over the side,

Under the boat,
and into the stir.

No more crosby.

Kind of [bleep]
scary, man.

Narrator:
battling fierce tides...

All right,
coming at you.

...the crew manages
to muscle through.

Stay sharp.

Oh [bleep] there go
the buoys again.

[Bleep]

There we go, get 'em in.

**

Come on! Get me
a pot of crab.

Well, it's got something in it,
I'm not sure what.

Come on, man. Come on,
give me a good count.

Give me a good count.

3-2-0.

320, Right on!

Nice crab?

Oh, yeah.

Big crab. Big crab.

Ooh! Ooh! Ooh!

**

I hope they're gonna be
a little easier to haul.

Take 'er easy now!
Stop doing [bleep]

Nah, they're not gonna
be any easier to haul.

I'll be a happy guy when we get
this string over with.

Oh, clean crab!
Oh, come here!

-Clean!
-Come on, baby!

-Oh [bleep]
-people, pull, pull, pull!

That is exactly
what we needed.

Oh, daddy!

Every passing pot,
one pot closer to going home.

355, Right on.

That'll work.

All clean crab!

Unh, unh, unh!

**

Pow.

The pot they just counted
had 435 keepers in it.

This right here
should be 200 plus.

250S through all that.

I think we're gonna start
putting a big stack on.

That's it, guys.
[ Speaking indistinctly ]

Good job.
-Put the happy sock on!

Time to go!
-Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

I'm breathing a huge sigh
of relief right now.

We started awfully slow,
worst trip of my career.

They always say, it's not how
you start, it's how you finish.

Well, you know what?
We finished strong.

Narrator: after six weeks
of dangerous weather...

-Whoo!
-...and spotty fishing...

It was a skinny season,
but it was a successful season.

...the veteran skipper has
hauled 434,000 pounds of crab

For a total of $1.7 million,

And his crew
will pocket 54 grand each.

It's a lot tougher
to be a boat owner today

Than it was
25, 30 years ago.

The fisheries
are down right now,

And you really have
no margin for error.

You've gotta come out here,
catch your crab quick,

Keep your costs down,

And that's the only way
you're gonna succeed.

And foreseeing the future
of this fishery

Is really difficult.

But I'll tell you what, this
boat'll be fishing next year.

Narrator:
on the fishing grounds...

I just cannot believe
that you are retiring, so...

[ Laughs ]

We'll get you on some
water skis or something.

See the other side of john.

We haven't seen how you look
in swim trunks yet.

That'll be fun.
[ Laughs ]

Narrator: captain sig hansen
catches up with an old buddy.

Oh, yeah, that'll be scary.
These legs haven't seen the sun.

They'll blind you,
they're so white.

[ Laughs ]

They're skinny
like pelican legs.

[ Laughs ] but you know,

I suppose
it's like anything else.

You know when you know, right?
You know it in your heart.

If you know it,
then it's the right thing.

Yeah.

Don't get too c*ck,
but I need to finish this trip,

'Cause I can't wait for it
to be the last trip

I'll ever fish
this crab again.

[ Laughs ]

That's how serious I am.

Unreal.

Anyway, all right, man.

Well, we gotta
get going here.

Okay, man. Good luck.

Bye, johnny.
It was good talking to you.

We'll see you down south.
I'm out.

Thanks.

Unreal. John's retiring.

And I just don't know
if I could do it right now,

But good for john.

He knows it when he knows it.

Johnathan:
that's why I'm getting out.

I don't --
I don't need the stress,

And I don't need this pressure.

Okay, guys.
Don't get hurt.

This weather's supposed to be
north 20 this whole season,

In your [bleep] face.

Yeah, baby! Let's do it!

Man: let's do it!

Narrator:
captain johnathan is banking

That this string will be
the last one of his season.

I set across this canyon.
I'm going out on top.

Like a champion, hopefully.

I can load this boat
if I get lucky.

That's the only way
I'm gonna get home.

And this is the only thing
standing between me

And living retired life,

Hanging out with grandbabies,
going sportfishing.

So, see what we're gonna
get out of this.

I'm hoping for some 200s.

200 Average would
be pretty good.

Just need our crabs
to work with us here.

Come on, crabbies!

We'll see what happens.

Johnathan:
come on! Come on! Come on!

[ Wheel grinding ]

I see crab legs!

Oh, there's crab legs.
I got crab legs.

I got crab on the back.

We got crab legs.

[ Laughs ]

Yeah!

I feel the pressure.

Yeah!

No escape for the opies.
No escape for the opies.

Johnathan: 140.

140 In that one.

Need 200.

See what the next one's got.

Come on, man! Better!
Give me better than that!

Oh, baby.

Yeah, baby!

I see some crab legs.

Yeah! Look at all
these crab legs!

Yeah!

[Bleep] yeah!

Yeah, baby! No way!

Yeah, baby, baby,
baby, baby!

Oh, man!
You could taste it!

[ Smacking lips ]

Narrator: on the crab...

We're gonna be okay.
[ Knocking ]

All righty.

Yeah, baby!

...captain johnathan's
retirement dream

Is becoming a reality.

Thank you, jesus.

[Bleep] you, bye bye kitty,
and rat.

I like the rat.

3-6-5.

365! Yeah!

That's what we want
to see, neal.

Yeah, 365.

[ Both laugh ]

Look at this.

Oh! Oh!

Holy moly!
We're gonna plug the tank!

We nailed it!
We hit it again!

[ Laughs ]

Look, you can walk on these!

[ Laughs ]

[ Inhales ]

Namaste.

Man: yeah, we're gonna fill this
boat up in record time, baby!

Record time!
Johnny, you're the man!

Johnathan: just gonna start
picking them up.

It's like berry picking,
berry patch.

Whoo! Yes!

Narrator:
in his 37 years,

The wily captain has picked
over 22 million pounds of crab.

Little crab jig.

Narrator:
but who's counting?

We need a bigger table!

[ Laughs ]

Time bandit, 1, crab, 0.

Hell, yeah!

That's a good pot, man!

Look at that.

Pretty proud moment.

Yeah, baby!

Yeah, baby!

Whoo!

It's just clean,
clean, clean fishing.

Clean, beautiful, bright crab.

No sorting. Scoopers.

Narrator:
after eight hours spent
hauling up an opilio bounty...

Sealing the deal, baby.
Boop!

Narrator:
...johnathan hillstrand
can see the end of his season

And the end of his
legendary career.

Come on, boy!

We love you, johnathan!

We're having some fun.
This is my dream right here.

This is a dream.
I had a dream!

Yeah!

These are the good ol' days
right here, right now.

Good ol' days are right now.

[ Wind howling ]

Okay, guys, this is
the last one coming up.

I swear to god,
this is the last one.

Whoo! Yeah, baby!

Rocket man!

Hasn't resonated
in my head yet, but...

[ Speaking indistinctly ]

I don't believe this is real.

[ Clears throat ]

It chokes me up.

Man: today's a really special
day for our captain johnny.

We take our hat off...

[ Rapping ] * yeah, yeah, yeah,
what's up? What's up? *

What you got?

Oh!

Look at this. Okay.

Look at this.
Do that again.

[ Speaking indistinctly ]

[ Laughs ]

**

We got it,
we got it, we got it!

Oh!

[ Laughing ]

We love you, boss!

Love you [bleep]

I love these guys.

Narrator:
good friends keith and john

End their seasons together
and on top.

Johnathan: okay, guys, this is
the last one coming in.

Man: come on, baby!

Narrator:
on the time bandit...

My last pot I'll ever pull.

Last time ever.

Here we go!

Get in there, charlie!

Last one, baby!

[Bleep] yeah!
We're going home!

Johnathan:
we're done, last pot.

-Yeah! Yeah!
-[Bleep] yeah, baby!

Narrator: as the final crab pot
comes aboard...

We love you,
captain johnathan!

Johnathan:
I love you, guys!

Narrator:
...johnathan closes out the last
of his 250,000-pound quota

And 37 years in the bering sea.

We love john with all our heart.
He's helped out my family.

He's helped out
all of these guys.

He's given us a good job,
a good name,

So thank you, johnny.
Thank you for everything.

-We love you, john.
-We love you, john!

Narrator: thanks to
the skipper's big finish,

Each deckhand will walk
away $65,000 richer.

-Hey, buddy.
-Captain johnathan.

Hey, thank you, man,
for keeping all my guys safe.

Thank you.

Oh, no, thank you.

-Yeah.
-Really, thank you so much.

I just want to let you
know I appreciate it.

Thank you, freddy, so much.
Thank you so much.

A lot of respect for you.

-Thank you so much.
-What you've done for all of us.

You know, for 37 years,

For all the fishermen
that work for you,

You keep it --
feed all their families.

Thank you. Thank you, freddy.
You made it safe.

It's 'cause of you. I'm only
as good as the guys on deck.

I'm only as good
as the guys on deck, man.

Love you, boss. Thank you
so much for everything.

Thank you, freddy.

Last string ever.

-Yes, last string ever.
-Thank you so much, boss.

Seriously,
thank you, freddy!

Thank you, boss!

Good, good guy, man.

[ Phone rings ]

[Bleep] scares the [bleep]
out of me every time.

Louder than [bleep]

[ Beep ]

Time bandit.

Hello, johnathan!

[ Speaking indistinctly ]

Hey, keith!

We got our crab pots on
and we're headed in.

We got 20 over what
we're supposed to catch

For the season.

No one believes me,
but this is my last season,

So you know,
I'm not coming out here again.

You know what? Here.

[ Laughs ]

I'm gonna broadcast
this to the fleet.

[ Laughs ] I know I'm not
coming back out here.

[ Radio static ]

I have a really
good inner peace,

A peaceful feeling about it.

I been hearing that for three
years, he's gonna quit fishing.

I wonder if this is it.

37 Years out here,

And man, just know
when it's time to go,

And it's time to go

And do something else.

[ Laughs ] unreal.

Narrator:
after more than three decades

With captain hillstrand
at their side...

We're actually gonna -- we're
gonna do the flares now, guys.

Myles, go grab the flares.

...the fleet comes together
to salute the skipper...

Hey, ed! Can you
come up for a sec?

We'll give the guy
a little sendoff, as well.

...time bandit style.

He and keith are having
a little safety meeting,

And I think we're gonna
do one of our own.

Oh, yeah! Let 'er rip, guys.
Let 'er go.

Let 'er go!

[ Flares igniting ]

Holy smokes!

Yeah, baby, look at that!

Whoo!

[ Cheering ]

For the time bandit!

Send 'em out!

[ Flares igniting ]

**

Congrats, johnny!
Love you, brother!

Showtime.

[ Flares igniting ]

It's lit. The whole
place is lit up.

[ Laughs ]
look at 'em all.

Whoo-hoo!

[ expl*si*n ]

**

* A place that I call home *

Cease fire!

* No lazy days or crazy jobs *

[ Laughs ]

[ Singing indistinctly ]

[ g*nshots ]

* Oh, oh, oh *

* They say job is never done *

[ Laughter ]

* Let's go home *

* Another life is yet to come *

* Is yet to come *

Yeah! Yeah!

[ Laughs ]

It can't get
much better than this!

[ Fireworks exploding ]

This is [bleep] crazy!

* Another life is yet to come *

That was pretty cool,
I must say.

Hillstrand, out!
Hillstrand!
