letters he'd brought her groceries

too as the mobile shop couldn't get up

School the children had made a picture

of him on a big sheet of card with Happy

their names they had also made a model

of his van but they wouldn't tell him

birthday Pat had presents for them a

chocolate kitten each and the eggs from

the day's round was nearly finished

Pat was just looking to see if there

were any letters to collect when Peter

fog came along on his

tractor he stopped to wish Pat a happy

birthday Pat told him how everyone

seemed to know about it don't you know

about him headed Postman of the year it

told all about his work how he helped

everyone where he was born and the date
