Post by bunniefuu »

- Welcome, everyone, to
the 2025 Youlympic Games.

[dramatic music]

- It's 72 degrees in our
air conditioned studio,

Hollywood is, for the
moment, not on strike,

and I can't think of a
better day to kick off

what is sure to be an amazing event.

- Now let's go live to Sam,

who's just about to
introduce our athletes.

- [Sam] Representing Brennan Lee Mulligan,

it's Brennan Lee Mulligan!

- Really proud of yourself, huh?

[Sam laughing]

- [Sam] Representing Ify
Nwadiwe, it's Ify Nwadiwe!

- What's good?

Congratulations to World
Series champs Dodgers,

and Oscar Winner "Joker: Folie à Deux".

[Brennan laughing in disbelief]

- [Sam] And representing Katie Marovitch,

it's Katie Marovitch!

Katie's moving in.

- With that, it's time for the
Youlympic opening ceremonies.

- [Katie] No!

- [Katie] Wow!

Okay, incredible!

- [Demi] Jordan, my excitement
is through the roof.

- So, apparently, is
Game Changer's budget.

Let's see what event we have up first.

- Players, it's time
for the vertical jump.

- No! We did that!

Sam, we did that already.

[Sam laughing]
Sam?

- [Demi] Now as a reminder, Jordan,

our players will be judged
not against each other,

but against their own
scores from last week.

- [Jordan] That's right, one week ago,

our players stepped foot
on the "Game Changer" stage

oblivious to the fact
that they'd be here again

a few days later.

Let's take a look.

[groovy music]

- [Sam] Get ready for a "Game Changer"!

Tonight's guests, making a
federal case out of second place,

it's Brennan Lee Mulligan!

- Hello! That's all.
[Sam laughs]

- [Sam] A nerd who could be his

- Um, actually...

Shut up!

- [Sam] No one like her
except Jack Stryker,

it's Katie Marovitch!

And your host, me.

I've been here the whole time.

This is "Game Changer", the only game show

where the game changes every show.

I am your host, Sam Reich.

I am joined today by these
three lovely contestants.

Now, you all understand
how the game works.

- As of right now, no, I have no clue.

- The odds that I will

The only way to learn is by playing,

the only way to win is by learning,

So without further ado, let's
begin with the vertical jump.

a lot of motion to start,

but then comes to almost a complete stop.

- You'd be mistaken to think
that he hit any of the red.

He did not.

for you for besting yourself.

- This is cool. Where
can I get one of these?

- I think I'm gonna just vert.

I'm not going to get a running start.

- Whenever you're ready, my friend.

- Okay.

- Oh my god!
- Oh my lord.

- I've been waiting for a
physical "Game Changer".

- So good. So incredible.
- [Sam] This is nearly

a full inch over.

- I can't take all the credit.

to the Black tradition

of seeing a high sign and jumping up

and seeing if you can touch it.

- A tradition that I have always lost.

- Have you been in the
same clothes since Friday?

- Would that be weird if that was true?

- Yes.

- Your teeth are bones outside.

- That's true.
- Hair is fair game, too?

- Hair is dead skin cells.

- Okay.

- Sounds like a yes.
- Yeah.

- In that case, on your mark, get set, go.

- These hurt! But in a fun way.

- Oh, that looks bad.

- [Ify] Pre-Friday Ify,
he wasn't ready for this.

- [Katie] Oh, lord!

- This is scary.

- [Demi] It looks like low budget

"Hellraiser" Halloween costumes.

- I do feel sad for people
that have to do this show.

- [Sam] All right, players,
your scores to beat.

Brennan, 19 pins.

Ify, 22 pins.

Katie, 17 pins.

- That's so many.

- It is the least of the
amounts I just mentioned.

- Don't let him get in your head, Katie.

Don't let him get in your head.

- Ready, players.

On your mark, get set, go.

- [Demi] Brennan taking an early lead,

doing two at a time on the lips.

- [Jordan] Very interesting
to start with the mouth,

one of the most painful places.

It seems like maybe that's
where you'd go last.

- [Demi] Ify plugging
up his nose early on.

Gonna make that hard to breathe

for the remainder of the minute.

We've got some players

Okay, we have Brennan
going under the shirt.

- 10 seconds.

Five, four, three,

two, one, and stop!

- Now, I loved Katie's strategy of doing

the sort of Bugles finger witch
things with her clothespins.

- If hair is allowed,

why didn't they all just
do nothing but hair?

- That was my immediate thought.

- I have very thin hair and it
would have fallen right out.

- I wish they could answer us.

[Sam and crew laughing]

- Brennan, to beat 19 clothespins,

you pinned to yourself 19 clothespins.

[Katie gasps]

No points for you.

Ify, to beat 22 clothespins,

you pinned 21 clothespins.

[Katie gasping]

No points for you.

Katie, to beat 17 clothespins,

you pinned 25 clothespins.

[Brennan clapping]

- Oh my god!

- Strong performance by Katie Marovitch.

- The most that anyone has
pinned to themselves so far.

That is a point for you,
bringing you into the lead.

- Woo!
- What?

- Ash, if you could please
remove these clothespins.

- Thank you very much, Ash.

- Next up, it's the pasta shapes
portion of our competition.

Round robin style, I'm going to ask you

to name as many pasta shapes as you can

without repeating
yourselves or each other.

If a player can't think of a pasta shape,

they'll be out, but the other players

will both continue.
- Cool.

- [Sam] Until you run out of pasta shapes.

Brennan, we will start with
you whenever you're ready.

[exaggerated Italian accent]
- Fettuccine.

- Rigatoni.

- Spaghetti.

[Brennan chortling]

- Gnocchi.

- Angel hair.
- Tagliatelle.

- Farfalle.
- Ravioli.

- Bow tie.
- Macaroni.

- Hold on. [stammering]
Don't count me out yet.

Do not count me out. You
would be sad to count me out.

Spaggallacci.

Go ahead, look it up. Spaggallacci.

- We do have to verify whether
spaggallacci is a shape,

and there's a chance it is.
- [Ify] Yeah.

- [Crew] I'm not seeing spaggallacci.

- Okay, maybe you're spelling it wrong.

- Ify, you are out of this
particular challenge. Katie.

- Orzo.

- Risotto.

- Isn't that just a type
of rice preparation-

- That's true!

- Wow.

- Damn!

- Yes!

- Jordan, I'm sorry I said
risotto was a pasta. I f*cked up.

- Bow tie.
- Angel hair.

- Cavatelli.

- Lasagna.

- This is so much more.

- Bucatini.

- Manicotti.

- Gemelli.

- [Sam] Seeing a nod from Jordan.

- I have nothing left to prove.

I beat my score. I'm out.

- Rotelle.

- Did the both of you study in between-

- Yes, of course we did.

- In between shoots?
- Of course we did!

- [Brennan] Oh my god! Come on!

- Wow. Incredible.
- [Katie] That was great.

And you have integrity.

- How many points do you
get for integrity, Sam?

[Sam and Ify laughing]

- One minute and 57 seconds, Ify.

That is a point for you. Congratulations!

Mayday, thank you so much.
- [Katie] Thank you, Mayday!

This looks legally very distinct to me.

I'm on a snowboard.

- You should've been here last week.

- Yes, last week-

[Sam, Ify and crew laughing]

You scoot up the mountain

point on the board for you,

bringing you to four.
