20x05 - Twice Bitten, Twice Shy

Post by bunniefuu »

[waves crashing]

[Sig] We haven't had
a king crab season

in a few years.

There's always that "push it
to the limit" mentality.

Push the boat, push the crew.

You know, sky's the limit.

[man] I'm backing it out.

[Sig]
Things are gonna happen...

I'm done!

[Sig] ...so deal with it.

[bleep] you!

I'm done!

[Sig] New guys
that are fishing derby-style

might be in for a rude
awakening.

[Malik speaking]

I can't do this like this.

I need to get this [bleep]
taken out.

[Sig] Sometimes guys cross
the line.

[Jake speaking]

You... screwed
with my emotions.

And now you're playing some

[bleep] damn child games
with me.

You can't trust anybody,

not when it comes
to fishing crab.

[waves crashing]

[Rick]
Rail, rail, rail, rail, rail.

[Sig]
But if you play with fire,

you're gonna get burned.

Nico!

[groans] [bleep]

You're gonna get bit.

[seagulls cawing]

[narrator] 200 miles northeast
of Dutch Harbor...

on the Titan Explorer.

I'm ready to rumble.

Come on. Here we go.

Here we go.

[dramatic music playing]

Here comes our first pot.

This should be a good string.

This boat is faster.
She's more nimble.

It's everything
I've ever wanted.

[narrator] Two weeks
after trading a spot

on his mentor Sig Hansen's
boat for a helm of his own,

Captain Jake Anderson
tracks a school west

into 50 fathoms,

eager to pin down his $750,000

of red king crab quota.

The problem is
if I can't catch crab

efficiently on this boat,

I'll be out of a job
pretty quickly.

[groans]

Oh, [bleep] damn it.

[man speaking]

[Jake] Dead.

[man 1] That's no good, man.

[man 2] Kind of weak.

Not much better but it's better.

[man] Oh, yeah.

Oh, boy.

We've got a little sign

but I think they're on
the move again.

Here's the difference
in water temperatures.

It's colder here.

Warmer there.

Colder here.

So I looked at Sig's charts
when I was fishing with him.

Looking at where we set

when I first fished with Sig
and we went south,

and the trends were the same.

What I'm thinking is that
I'm gonna try to track

cool pools down towards
the south.

Sig's right up above me.

Huh?

[Jake] If I could combine
forces with Sig,

we can double our efforts

and be cleaned up twice as fast.

[narrator] 25 miles north...

[man] Not too sexy.

[narrator]
On the Northwestern.

[Sig speaking]

Ten.

There's a big sort, so 10 crab?

[man speaking]

[Sig] We gotta get this done.

I feel like we're close,

but other boat owners can
scoop in and grab that quota.

It could be taken
away very quickly.

[narrator]
A week from his final
scheduled offload,

Captain Sig Hansen sprints
to catch and deliver

his last 15,000 pounds
of red king

or forfeit a quarter
million dollars of crab

to a more productive vessel.

[phone rings]

Hey, there. How goes it?

[Jake] Hey.

Are you also seeing crab
turning towards the south?

[Sig] It's okay up here.

I'm a little
farther to the north,

I think, than you are.

[Jake] I'm just looking
at this information I got

and I just really think
that they're going south.

The trends that I'm looking at
remind me of like 2007.

And then when you factor
in the water temperature,

I'm just really thinking south.

[Sig] I don't know
where you're getting your
information from,

but 2006 or '07
it's a long time ago.

[Jake] Just see if you wanna
bump some gear south with me.

[Sig] We do have an offload
coming up,

so for us to switch gears

and risk going the opposite
direction isn't

in the cards right now.

[Jake] Okay.
Well, that's fine, you know.

Each to his own. I just...

I'm headed south.

All right, man.

Just... Good luck. I'm out.

[Jake] All right. Bye-bye.

[Sig] Clark, you wanna come up
for a second?

[Clark] Roger.

Yo.

I've been conversing
with Jake back and forth.

- Okay.
- And... I don't know, man.

It's just something
smells funny here

because he's alluding
to the fact

that we should be following
his instincts

from 2006 and '07.

- I'm like...
- Was he even...

"You weren't even running
a boat back then, number one.

You were on deck."

How can he remember anything?

It don't add up.

I mean, he was talking
water temperatures.

He was talking area.

Uh...

[Clark] Unless he was
going through your old charts

when he was up here.

Just look at
the search history there.

[Sig] That little bugger.

He'd been looking at
my whole history here,

every single chart
I had back then.

You got a spy. [chuckles]

I know. I feel like
I've been violated.

[laughs]

I think this guy
needs a little lesson.

[narrator]
140 miles southwest...

[man 1] Oh, man.

[man 2] Not good.

Ruh-roh.

[narrator] On the Seabrooke.

[Bob] Turn.

Not looking too good.

- [grunting]
- [groans]

[groans]

That's not gonna cut it.

All right, guys.

We're gonna start
putting the load on.

This isn't paying the bills.

We have to get in and get out

before the rest of the fleet
gets here.

[narrator] With dozens
of boats nearing the end

of king season and readying
to switch over to bairdi...

[Greg] We signed agreements
with, you know, quota holders

to catch their crab,
and if I'm not catching,

I gotta be prepared
for my crab to be taken

and, you know, give it
to somebody else

that is catching.

[narrator]
Captain Greg Wallace
and skipper-in-training

Sophia "Bob" Nielsen
race to catch

their remaining $250,000 of crab

before the rest of the fleet
swarms the grounds.

[man] Let's go, Malik.

We gotta get
another one in here.

Let's go.

[Malik speaking]

[Greg]
Malik, I'm sure he's in pain,

but everything is self-inflicted

so it's hard to feel
any kind of sympathy.

[narrator] Five days ago...

[Nick] I swear to God, bro.

You just walked up.

You stood right there

and you [bleep] pissed on me

in my bunk.

[narrator] Intoxicated

Malik Kurney sleepwalked

and then sleep-urinated
on bunkmate Nick Nelson,

triggering Nick to knock
loose one of Malik's teeth.

Now, I gotta deal
with his stupid decisions

that affects everybody.

[Bob] Ever since that night,

Malik has been really struggling

with whatever
is going on in his mouth.

I think he's got a severe
infection,

and it's been, you know,

affecting his work ethic
and his attitude.

I'm going through so much pain
in my mouth,

you know, a thousand miles
away from home.

I love fishing
but I don't wanna be here
right now.

All right, guys.
That was the last one there.

You guys got about 20,

so if you need to change
your clothes,

change your diaper, whatever,

we will stack this last one on.

Roger.

[wave crashes]

[Greg] Malik,
come up to the wheelhouse.

[seagulls cawing]

- Hey.
- [Bob] Hey.

[Bob speaking]

[Malik] Throwing up last night
from the medicine,

but that amoxicillin

is really making me really bad.

I just wanna pull it.

[Greg] Well,
we can't pull it out here.

I mean, if you start bleeding,
if you start hemorrhaging,

I mean, you know what I mean,
that's a whole another level

of [bleep] doctor [bleep]
right there.

Let's see.

[Bob] Open wide.

Into that.

[Bob] Oh, yeah.
No, that's pretty gross.

You don't have much
of a tooth there to even...

Even if you wanted to pull it.

I think you need to visit
your local dentist more often.

[Greg] Well, just keep taking
the antibiotics for right now.

[Malik speaking]

[Greg]
I wish we could pull it out

but that's just
too risky of a move.

If we pull the roots out

and he starts
hemorrhaging and...

I mean, he could bleed to death

before we even knew
what happened.

So we gotta keep
a real tight eye on it,

gotta push it as far as I can,

so hopefully we can finish
what we gotta do.

[Bob] The clock is ticking.

[narrator] 130 miles northeast
on the
Aleutian Lady...

[dramatic music playing]

[Jacob] Yeah. Hmm.

No matter the weather,

- no matter the boat.
- Yeah.

- The Aleutian Lady...
- [man] Yeah, baby.

[Jacob]
We don't sink, we float.

Try to stop us.

- [man] Yeah.
- Hell, yeah.

All right, guys.
Watch your backs

and keep your heads on a swivel.

It's getting kinda nasty out.

[narrator] Four days
before final offload,

Captain Rick Shelford
prepares to haul

his final $450,000

of red king crab
from 20-foot seas.

[Rick] We tracked them
up into this gulley.

We got 130 pots in the water.

And conditions
couldn't be worse.

[narrator]
Betting the same currents

that threatened his deck
bullied the crab hoard

into a deep 60-fathom
canyon and his 130 pots.

We got the current ripping.

Big swells coming through.

I mean, some big quick gusts.

They hit us with fury.

Just the surge.

The surge coming over the rail.

It'd be pretty intense
sometimes.

It's not a full-on wave
but it can be just as bad.

It can still knock
you on your butt,

make you get hurt.

[waves crashing]

[bleep] come on, waves.

Nico just got reconstructive
surgery on his whole jaw.

He got beat up with a lead pipe.

Could've k*lled him.

I love Nico, man.

He's one of the hardest workers.

[waves crashing]

[Rick] But I expect a lot
out of my guys.

Can he handle it?

Big question mark there.

[waves crashing]

[Rick] Not looking good.

There might be four
or five crab.

[Nico speaking]

Single digits
ain't gonna cut it.

We're triangulating
where the crab are

by figuring out
where the crab aren't.

[seagulls cawing]

[wave crashes]

I might have went
a little bit too shallow.

Crap.

[laughs]

Ooh, wave.

[Nico speaking]

Rail, rail, rail, rail, rail.

Nico!

[groaning] [bleep]

You okay, Nico?

[Rick] What happened?

[narrator]
On the Aleutian Lady...

[Rick] Ooh, wave.

Rail, rail, rail, rail, rail.

[groans] [bleep]

You okay, Nico?

[bleep]

Holy.

[Rick] What happened?

[man speaking]

Oh, my gosh.

[man] Holy [bleep].

Getting jammed into
a launcher, brutal.

[Nico speaking]

[man] Well, yeah, you just got
the wind knocked out of you.

[Nico groans]

- [man] Sit down and chill
for a minute. Need some food?
- [Nico] Oh, [bleep].

[narrator] As Nico Huerta
threw the hook,

a rogue wave hit him head-on,

sending him chest first

into the forged steel launcher.

I'd be surprised
if he didn't bruise his ribs

a little bit.

It's gonna hurt him tomorrow,
I know that.

If he gets any contact
to his face,

he could refracture
his whole jaw.

[Nico] We know the risks we take

when we come out here.

But, uh, I was assaulted
in the front yard of my house

by somebody with a lead pipe.

They hit me across the face,
choked me out,

slammed me to the ground,

kicked me in the face
multiple times,

and shattered my jaw.

I got six titanium
plates in my face

and close to thirty screws.

I know I can physically
do the job.

I've just...

Mentally,
I struggle with it every day.

[Rick] I got nothing
but respect for Nico,

but I can't slow down.

I gotta get all
these pots stacked

and moved a little bit deeper

or there is no way
I'm getting all this crab.

I need him out on deck.

[narrator] 62 miles southeast,

south of the 56-degree
latitude line...

[Jake] Almost done.

Setting for about four hours.

[narrator]
Aboard the Titan Explorer.

[Jake] All the research
that I did on Sig's charts

and other data I collected
drew me down to quadrant one,

which is to the south,
to follow the cold pool.

It's similar to a season
I had with Sig...

[man] Clear.

Like 15, 16 years ago.

[narrator] While Captain Jake
uses intel gleaned

from time on the Northwestern...

[Sig] Whose bag
is that right there?

- You see it?
- [Clark] Yeah. Yeah. Hold on.

[narrator]
Just two miles away...

[Clark] 40920.

Titan Explorer, 40920.

[bleep] [laughs]

[narrator]
Captain Sig approaches
Jake's northern gear.

[Sig] He's been looking
at my whole history.

We gotta
teach this guy a lesson,

so get ready to haul
some Titan pots.

[Clark speaking]

Well, number one, there's not
gonna be crab in those pots,

but we're definitely
gonna mess with him.

You know what would get under
his skin even more?

Setting it on some meat.

That's the "I told you so".

[Clark speaking]

[Sig] All right.
Let's go get them.

[Clark] All right.

[narrator] Sig's plan,

pull 20 of his former
mentee's pots

and move them 50 miles north

onto the location he suspects
the biomass is lurking.

I got a pretty good feeling.

He is gonna hate this.

The plan is just to set the gear

parallel to each other.

[man] Nothing.

[Sig] This should be fun.

[narrator] 140 miles west...

[Bob] So what's the plan
of attack here?

[narrator] On the Seabrooke.

Based off of what the numbers
and these strings were saying,

I think we're getting better
crab the shallower we go.

[Greg] Yeah. For sure.

I'll just pile drive them
in there

- and see what we can get.
- I like the sound of that.

- Yeah. Sounds fine.
- [Bob] That's good.

Yeah.

All right, you guys, one mile.

You guys can kick back
for a second.

I'll beep you when we get close.

[man] Roger.

Good.

[Bob speaking]

Oh. Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
He's late.

[Bob] I'm on it.

[narrator]
With an inbound crab fleet,

Captain Greg Wallace
prepares to deploy 20 pots

in the western shallows,
while skipper-in-training

Sophia "Bob" Nielsen
tends to an injured crewman,

desperate to keep
the deck fully functional

until the offload
in two days' time.

[Greg speaking]

It's good bait. Chums them in.

Where's your... Where is your
medicine, dawg?

Feels like...

So you really
wanna go back to town?

[Malik speaking]

[bleep]

See? Once they quit
in their mind...

[groans] Nah,
it's just not an option.

He's just gonna have...
We gotta figure this out.

Malik, I need to talk to you.

Get up to the wheelhouse
right now.

Yeah.

[Greg]
What the hell is going on?

- What?
- [Greg] You told Sophia
that you want...

This was unbearable
and you wanna go home?

[Malik speaking]

Well, tell me.

[Greg] I know.

Work through it.

It's not k*lling you.

If it's gonna k*ll you,
I will take you to town,
all right?

I need you to suck it up,
and you can.

[narrator] On the Seabrooke...

You need to be drinking
a bottle of water an hour.

You gotta get
the toxins out of you.

Take the antibiotic
like you did,

eat it with a full sandwich
like you did

and you will feel better.

I swear. I know.

Okay?

I mean, I'm gonna be
like your mom or your dad.

We don't quit.

You work through it,
bottom line.

[Bob] Dealing with like
a delicate balance

of, you know,
having to get work done

and keep your mind focused
and like...

You have to be paying attention

'cause it's really dangerous
out on deck.

And if your head's
not in the game,

it's a good way to get hurt.

All right, you guys,
let's get ready to set.

[man] Roger.

Going over.

[Greg] He needs
to get that tooth removed

and I'm not gonna pull it, so...

I need everybody

so I can get this crab
in the tank and get us home.

[man] There she goes.

[narrator]
125 miles northeast...

[Rick] We're coming up
on the string.

We gotta get hauling.

- [man 1] Roger.
- [man 2] Roger.

I can't waste any more minutes.

[narrator]
On the Aleutian Lady.

[Rick speaking]

We got too much quota to get.

I'm glad he came back out.

You had me worried
for a second, man.

- [Nico] Yeah.
- I saw your face

when you were lying there.
I was like, "Oh, [bleep]."

It almost like
knocked the sense out of me.

You know what I mean?
Like, whoa, what happened?

You were just
laying there like this.

[grunts]

[laughter]

[narrator] Eighteen hours
after deckhand Nico's

reconstructed jaw

nearly got deconstructed
by a wave,

Captain Rick has a mere 48 hours

to claim 25,000 pounds
of king crab

before final offload.

[man] Woo-hoo! Nice job.

[Rick] We've headed out
deeper a bit,

and I'm hoping to see

a 50-crab average plus.

[man 1] Come on, crabs.

- [man 2] There you go.
- [man 3] Hey, coming up.

- [man 1] Oh.
- [man 2] Oh, yeah!

[man 3] Woo! Yeah!

That's what we need.

I need this to keep going.

[Jacob] Nice crab.

Nice crab.

[grunts]

[man 1 laughs]

[man 2] Woo!

Crab count, 58, 5-8.

Boom.

[man] Look out. Look out.

[suspenseful music playing]

[man 1] Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.

[man 2] Damn.

Oh...

Man.

What are you guys doing
with the table right now?

[Jacob speaking]

[man 1] Okay. You know what?

I'm about to get...

- [man 2] Watch...
- [man 3] [bleep]

[man 4] Hey.

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa.
Nico, are you okay?

[Nico] I'm done.

[bleep] you.

[bleep] you. I'm done.

[seagulls squawking]

[suspenseful music playing]

[door slams]

And now Nico
just stormed off deck.

Frickin' great.

[Rick speaking]

[Rick] You okay, man?

Yeah. I'm all right.

[Rick] So did the table
squish you?

- I mean, what...
- It didn't squish me.

Luckily, it hit me
and I was able to jump back...

[Rick] Mmm-hmm.

In time without getting
smashed by it.

[Rick] You are a badass.

I love having you
onboard the boat.

And I respect you.

You gotta get it out
of your head

and just keep on driving.

[Nico] All right.

[Rick] I'm worried about Nico.

He might not wanna go back
out there.

This is Nico
after he got attacked.

All swollen up.

There's his mouth
all wired shut.

I mean, the mental trauma
from taking that damage

has gotta be forefront
in his mind

after getting taken out
by a wave.

[man 1] Eighty-one.
Eight, one.

[man 2] Woo!

[man 3] Woo!

What I need is in my pots.

I just don't know
if I have the manpower

to get it done in time.

[man] Oh, my God!

[narrator] 35 miles east...

[Sig] All right, guys, one mile.

[narrator]
On the Northwestern.

[Sig] Now, this is the stuff
that we moved up above

to the north.

We're just going
by what we see in the gear.

That's all you can do.

We're getting close
to our quota.

Hopefully,
we'll get what we need.

[narrator] After setting
Jake's pots next to his own

in the far north,

Captain Sig readies to haul
in the biomass

that he is sure
he put them both on...

probably.

Hopefully.

[dramatic music playing]

All right.
First one's coming up here.

- [man 1] Yeah!
- [man 2] Yeah.

[man 1] Yeah.

That looks good.

We got about a quarter-full pot.

- [man 1] Oh, yeah.
- [man 2] Yeah.

[man 1] They're all going in.

[chuckles]

Oh, yeah.

Yeah, yeah, yeah.
That's better.

[man] Four, zero.

[Sig] Jake is down in the south,

reading my old information,
my old charts.

You can't go
by old news like that.

Maybe he's reading
too much into it.

What he should be doing
is listening to his pots,

you know, or listen to me,
one or the other.

[chuckles]

[man] Woo!

[dramatic music playing]

[Jake] That's it.

It should be right there.

Can somebody go in the bow
and help me look?

[man]
I don't see anything, man.

The gear should be right here.

There's no reason
these pots should be gone.

[seagulls cawing]

[Jake] That [bleep].

Did he touch my gear?

[man] Nothing.

[Jake] I think Northwestern
did something with our gear.

Gotta be something he did.

That's kind of screwed up.

[phone rings]

- [phone ringing]
- [chuckles]

Jake, how's it going?

[Jake]
Did you haul my gear, dude?

[narrator]
On the Northwestern...

[phone rings]

Jake, how's it going?

[Jake] Did you haul
my gear, dude?

[Sig] What?
Are you having trouble

finding the string
by any chance?

You hauled my gear, dude,
didn't you?

I would say I gave you a gift.
Trust me.

I didn't ask
for any [bleep] gifts, Sig.

Where's my [bleep] pots?

I'll tell you what,
I did you a favor, okay?

I'll throw you a bearing

and then you tell me
what you think.

It's got a short soak
but you be the judge.

Just tell me where they are.

[Sig] Maybe that'll teach you
to stay out of my computer

and my earned history.

You know, think of it like
a treasure hunt, all right?

Start with the first one.

- I'll be here.
- [sighs]

[bleep] Here we [bleep] go.

I don't wanna [bleep] do these

[bleep] lesson games, Sig.

I don't have time. What is it?

[Sig] Let me see here.

That one's on the 56, 40.34...

[bleep] kidding me.

And 162, 44, 57.

You might wanna start there.

[chuckles]

He just [bleep] hung up.

[bleep]

I don't need a [bleep] lesson.

I don't need to know
how to do what I'm doing.

I don't need to be spanked.

I don't need a [bleep] daddy.

I just need my [bleep] gear.

[narrator] 140 miles west...

on the Seabrooke.

Malik, take your medicine
and eat that sandwich.

You need to take care
of yourself, buddy.

Just get her done.

I had him rinse with warm
saltwater this morning

when he woke up,
'cause I don't want him

to get infected any worse
than he already is.

I got here from not
taking care of myself.

[Bob]
We just really need Malik

to pull through right now.

But he has a million
and one reasons

why he doesn't wanna be here.

[narrator] After managing
their greenhorn's
infected tooth...

[man] Woo.

[Greg] Gotta get as many hauls
as possible.

Bags on the bow.

[man] Roger.

[narrator] Skipper-in-training
Bob and Captain Greg

race to haul 40 pots
from the shallows

in order to offload
their crab at the cannery

and Malik at the clinic.

So, are you ready for this one?

- Yes, sir.
- [Greg] All right.

Well, hopefully,
you are right here.

This is
that east shallow string.

As long as we get some good
clean crab and, you know,

some decent numbers,
we can work on that.

That'll fill the tank.

[Bob] Yeah. I think we made
a really good decision,
you know?

Signs look promising
and hopefully we were right.

[man 1] Woo!

[laughs]

[man 2] All right.

There we go.
Yeah. That'll work.

It's good signs of life here.

All big old dinner plates.

[man] Still on the crab?

Yeah, baby.

That's a good one.

[crews cheering]

It's 45, baby!

Forty-five.

Nice clean crab.

[man] Yeah!

[Greg] As long as we stay
on these kind of numbers

and they all hit,

then we'll get our job done.

- [man 1] Yeah, baby!
- [man 2] Woo!

[man 3] Yeah!

This is exactly what we needed.

I'm glad to see
these pots looking full

with big, healthy crab.

- [man 1 laughs]
- [man 2] Yeah!

- [man 3] Whoa, whoa, whoa.
- [man 4] Watch out!

- [man 5] [bleep]
- [indistinct chatter]

[Megan] Come on, bro! [bleep].

[bleep]

[Greg]
Hey, good job, Malik,

for jumping in there
on that pot.

Way to step it up, Malik.

[chuckles]

[Bob] That looks like
the first smile

I've seen
on Malik's face in days.

[Megan] I can see
the potential in Malik.

I see him getting into
a badass deckhand, you know?

[crews cheering]

[Megan] 76, boys!

Seventy-six.

[Greg]
That'll work right there.

[chuckles]

We just gotta keep
hauling this gear,

stay on the pulse.

We gotta get him in
to get to the dentist.

[narrator]
160 miles northeast...

on the Titan Explorer.

[Jake]
Sig took my [bleep] gear

and has now set my string.

I don't get it.

It's just so childlike.

I can't be running around
looking for gear.

And this is just absolutely...

It's just obnoxious.

[tense music playing]

[wave crashes]

I found them.

[sighs]

All right.
We're on the first pot.

[phone rings]

[laughs]

Hey.

You found the first one?

[Jake]
I'm here on the first pot.

I went to the coordinates.

Well, let's just wait and see

what's in that first pot, man.

Sig ran our gear,

moved it, hid it.

You don't mess
with a man's money.

[Sig] You gotta have
a little faith, man.

Well, let me know what's in it.

[man] And... Come on.

Bering Sea tooth brushing.

Disgusting.

Not the tank saltwater.

[Jacob] Yeah, the tank water.

I am one with the ocean.

[man] That's bird [bleep]
right there.

[Jacob] That was bird [bleep]
I just put in my mouth.

People ask me...

"Jacob, how do you get
those pearly whites?"

Bering Sea, baby.

It's so good for you.

All the microorganisms

and worms I'm getting

are gonna eat away
all the [bleep] in my gums.

Probably my teeth.
Maybe my brain.

But it's...
I'm gonna have clean teeth.

Bering Sea oral health.

That's what it is.

[narrator] It's amazing.

Every year,
I learn something new

about hygiene on this show.

Thank you, Jacob.

[narrator]
On the Titan Explorer.

[Sig] You know, it's just
a little favor for a friend.

That's all it is.

Well, let me know what's in it.

[man] Come on.

[groans]

Oh, [bleep].

[sighs] Oh, my God.

This one sucks, dude.

There's life in it, isn't there?

[Jake] No!

[man] That was a small pot.

That was no good.
We don't want those.

Well, maybe the next one
will get better.

You ever think of that?

Just keep going
another half mile.

This one's a little bit
farther up to the northwest.

Why don't you just
give me all of them

so I can get over
this [bleep] damn charade?

No, man.
I'll give you pot for pot.

- [man 1] Yeah!
- [crews] Yeah!

[man 1] Amen!

There they are.

[bleep] [bleep]

[Sig] You like what you see?

[man] Woo! Woo!

Woo! Woo!

[Jake] Oh, my God, dude.
It's...

It's loaded.

It's [bleep] good, dude.

It's good.

[man] Thirty-one.

Three, one!

[Sig] Don't forget to send
a thank you gift

- coming my way.
- [bleep]

Bottle of vodka. I don't know.

Who are you?

The [bleep] damn
Bering Sea Riddler?

The Siggler?

The Siggler?
Well, siggle me this.

Why don't you just
keep going west, pal?

[man 1] Woo!

- [man 2] Oh, yeah!
- [crews cheering]

Yeah!

[Jake] Holy [bleep] dude.

[Sig] Well, told you so.

[laughs]

[Jake] Damn it.
I hate it when he's right.

[narrator] 40 miles west...

[crews cheering]

[narrator]
On the Aleutian Lady.

[crews cheering]

Oh, damn.

That pot is huge.

That is a mountain of money
in that pot.

The problem is, it's taken us
almost twice as long

to sort through all the crab
and haul the pot

being one guy down.

You can stay on your toes
as much as you want,

but there's gonna be incidents
like this

that you can't control.

[man speaking]

Are you for real?

[man speaking]

A hundred
and frickin' twelve crab?

[man] Yeah! Woo!

[Rick] Even though
we're on k*ller fishing,

we still might not get
our quota in time

without Nico out there.

- [crews cheering]
- [man 1] [bleep]

[man 2 speaking]

[Nico speaking]

[man 1 speaking]

[man 2] [bleep]

[Rick speaking]

Welcome to the party, man.

[crews cheering]

[Nico] I don't wanna get hurt,

but I'm not gonna
leave my crew hanging.

I'm not gonna leave them
out here a man short

when I'm able-bodied
and able to work.

- [crews cheering]
- [Nico] Oh, yeah.

Oh, my God!

Yeah!

[Rick] This is a game changer.

I needed him to step up
and get out there.

We actually have a chance.

These pots are huge.

Now, we just
gotta turn and burn.

[Bob] It's important
that we just grab

these extra pots,
get Malik taken care of,

and, hopefully,
he can come back
and fish with us.

As soon as we get to the dock,

I'll just jump off
and we'll over to the clinic.

Hopefully, it'll be fast.

Maybe it's just
an antibiotic or something.

Okay.

Put that spring line
right there on that one.

[Malik] Roger.

[Malik] I'm glad
we made it here.

I'm super excited
to get my tooth looked at.

[Greg] Get these pots on.

I wanna get back out there.

Tell the doctor to hurry.

- [Bob] Yes, sir.
- [Greg] All right.

Hey, Malik...

she's gonna run you up
to the clinic.

[Bob] I'll touch base
with you in a little bit.

[Greg] All right. Thank you.

[Clark speaking]

But it's happy news.

Don't worry.

Hey.

[Mandy] Hey.

So, we're having another baby.

Oh! Oh.

Congratulations. Good.

How long have you known that?

Have you been holding out on me?

[Mandy speaking]

[chuckling]

I don't...

All right. Okay.

I'm happy for you. Love you.

All right. We'll try
to get you home, I suppose.

I know. All right. Thanks.

[Sig] I think it's great.
I really do.

You know, that's a little
boost we needed. But...

sounds like we gotta
get home here,

hopefully sooner than later.
