01x06 - Diabolical Dr. Dome - Honeybee

Post by bunniefuu »

From out of the pages of DC Comics comes

the world's newest and greatest

superhero, Plastic Man. He

can spring, he can stretch,

he can fly, he can bounce,

he can change his shape,

and he can even dance.

Each week, Plastic Man will face the

world's greatest. greatest collection of

villains.

There's action. There's

comedy.

There's danger.

There's penny. There's bad

luck cooler.

There's plenty for everybody on the

Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show.

Eat your heart out, eight man!

Get ready to load a safe.

Are you sure that's the right place down

there, Plass?Yeah, Penny. The chief got a

tip that Dr. Dohm was going to pull off

one of his most diabolical crimes. Plass,

down there. Look! It's Dohm's Stooges,

and we caught them right-handed. Take her

down, Penny.

It's plastic, man. Let's go!

You two wait here. I'm going after those

crooks.

They're not gonna get away.

Looks like I've got you cornered.

Hey, what's going on?

You see, Lynx, my daughter, my plan

worked. We tricked Plastic Man into

coming here by pretending we were going

to rob this building. You're a genius,

Daddy Dome. That flexible fool

always comes if he can stop a

crime. It's Dr. Dome.

Time for some propeller power.

I'll drop these villains off at the

nearest prison. We can be carried away.

I'll stop that plastic fool. I shall

release him.

Quickly, you fool. Let's get out of here.

Why did your arch-enemy, Dr. Dome, go

through all this trouble to capture you,

class?I don't know, but we're

going to find out. Hoola, get on the

scanner. We've got to locate Dr. Dome's

secret hideout.

Say, Daddy Dome, these movies aren't the

highlights of your life, but that plastic

man sure is something. You're

right, Lynx, my child. He is

something. A pliable

pain in the neck. That plastic

egghead has ruined some of my greatest

capers. And this is how he

cheated me out of five million dollars?

I thought no one could stop my super

stickerAnd last here in France,

Plastic Man foiled my brilliant attempt

to steal the Mona Lisa.

Only that stretchable stooge could have

stopped my incredible wood magnet. Now,

Lynx, my devilish daughter, switch on the

light. Well, you

can add one more movie to your

collection, Daddy Waddy. Men gave you a

repeat performance tonight, but never

again will let plastic blob of plastic

create trouble for me.

Come, I want to show you my latest,

greatest invention.

Voila! Here it is. The invention

to get me revenge on Plastic

Man. Ooh, that's great!

What is it?This ingenious little

device is none other than a plastic power

transmitter. This is why I must capture

Plastic Man. And when I do,

the transmitter will run on his plastic

powers and change anything into plastic.

Trees, airplanes,Even buildings

will have fantastic stretching abilities.

Everything will be under my

control. And the best part of all

this is that the world will blame plastic

men for everything I do.

Big Daddy, don't control yourself.

You were having one of those crazy fits

again. Yes. No, sorry, sorry, sorryIt's

that pea-brain Plastic Man. He does it to

me every time. Now, don't you worry,

Pops. You just leave Plastic Man to me.

I'll capture that handsome He-Man rubber

band. It just needs a woman's touch.

I've been searching for Dome's secret

hideout for hours. And so far, no luck.

Wait, I'm getting something. Maybe

my luck is changing.

Yeah, it changed for the worse.

And speaking of worse, uh, hi, chief.

Don't hire me, and clean up this

mess. I just got a tip from a woman who

says she knows where we can findDr. Dome.

I hope it's better than the last tip.

Where can we find her?In the North Pole.

The North Pole?Yes. She chose a place

where she knew Dr. Dome wouldn't be, and

she wants you, Plastic Man, to come

alone. Maybe she can explain why Dr.

Dome tried to capture me last night.

Don't worry, Chief. I'm on my way. I

always worry when you're involved.

Just think. She worries about me.

According to the chief, this is where

you're supposed to meet that mysterious

informant. I'm going down. You two stay

out of sight. I'll contact you later.

Anyone home?Come here. I've been

expecting you, plastic man. You've,

uh, got a good-looking igloo here. Thank

you. I always did like the comforts of

home. And that's sure an

interesting whip. So you like it. Do you

like how it sparkles? So shiny and

bright?Yes. Shiny

and bright. Take a good look. It's

putting you under my spell. Yeah,

your spell. You're getting very sleepy.

Your eyes are getting very heavy. You're

going to obey me. Yeah,

obey you. No, you're under my spell,

Plastic Man, and you're under my command.

I knew my mysterious phone call would

work. Your days are numbered, Plastic

Man. My days are

numbered. Because

Tim is a board, I need a

fled.

Mush! Mush! Now to deliver Plastic Man to

Daddy, though we yacht and colder cold.

We haven't heard from Plaz. I hope

nothing's wrong. We're supposed to wait.

I'm sure he's OK. I hope.

As soon as I press this button, I shall

transfer Plastic Man's power to my

transmitter.

At last, my greatest

achievement. After all these years,

I shall finally get revenge on

Plastic Man.

Now, my faithful friends, dump

the mighty Plastic Man overboard!

So long, Plastic Man. I can't say

I won't miss you.

Alrighty, boys. Let's get out

of here!

I'm worried, Hula. We've searched all

over and there's no sign of playing. Keep

looking, Penny. We'll take a wider sweep

for the area. Crackin'

coconuts! That's the biggest red ice cube

I've ever seen. My gosh! That's

no ice cube! It's Prius! And he's

frozen solid. We've gotta pick him up!

I hate to admit it, Penny, but I was

outfoxed by a lynx. Ohh

She put me under her spell and dragged me

to Dr. Dome. That much I remember. My

poor plast. What did Dr. Dome

do to you?Would you believe he stole all

my plastic powers?Hopping Honolulu.

That's right, Hua. And let's hope we can

find Dr. Dome before he uses my powers

for evil.

It is time to test my Plasti power

transmitter, and I shall start with the

famous Leaning Tower of Pisa. But

why here, boss?You fools! Because

there are priceless art treasures here,

and soon they will be mine!

Did you see that?Oh, boy. What's

going on?Oh, boy. You can thank Plastic

Man for my powers. Now, off to our next

heist.

Dr. Dorm's going mad. And according to

the chief, he's heading for Switzerland.

But this time, we'll be there to stophim.

What's happening?I lost control.

I command you to pick up the armored

truck.

There's Dome now. Plastic man,

let's get out of here. I'll stop, Dome.

That machine left me with some of my

plastic powers, but I can't control them.

But I can't let that stop me. There goes

Doom. He's getting away.

Oh, what more could go wrong?

Well, I see you let Dr. Doom escape.

Well, it's not as bad as it looks, Chief.

I did get in a little sightseeing. The

only sight you should be seeing is Doctor

Dome in jail.

I just got to regain my powers. The Chief

is mad. People will begin to hate me. My

fan club will fold. They'll think I'm a

criminal. So

it appears that Dr. Dome is behind these

sinister doings, and his new partner in

crime is none other than the once

superhero, Plastic Man.

Ohh I'm

finally getting revenge on that rubber

rascal, and just wait until the clouds

get a load of my next taper.

What do you have in that ministry mind of

yours?I'm going to use my Plasti

Power Transmitter to help me steal the

moon, where I shall set up my own planet.

Ohh I shall be free to pull off

crimes anywhere in the universe, and no

one can stop me.

Not even Plastic Man.

For he is

powerless.

Down with Plastic Man! I don't think he

should be around anymore! Get rid of him,

dump him. Holy Hawaii! The crowds are

like this all over the city, Plaz.

Everyone's blaming you for Dr. Dohm's

diabolical deeds. I've got to prove my

innocence. There's Plastic Man. Get

him! Plastic Man! I've got to hide!

At least I ditched that angry mob.

Plas, you OK?Come on down.

Looks like this sewer is our new

headquarters. How are we going to capture

Dome now, Plas?First, we got to find out

what Dome's next move is. Yeah, but it's

not even safe for you to go out in

public. I know, so I'll have to go out in

disguise.

We're sure to get some info from my old

pal, Peppy, who owns this pool hole.

Disguising yourself as my pool cue is a

stroke of genius, Ples. Better make this

quick, hula. I can't hold this sh*t for

long. There's Peppy.

Hi, Peppy. Long time no see.

Oola, oola, my old Hawaiian pool-playing

partner. Looking for a game?I'm always

looking for a game of pool. But I also

need some information. So, Pepe, what's

the word on Dr. Dome?Where do you think

he'll strike next?This is one

disguise I'll remember never to use

again. Rumor has it the demented doctor

is planning to pull a job in London,

something to do with Big Ben and the

crown jewels. Wow, there's

more, ula ula. I've also heard that this

London Cape is just a diversion to

keep people from discovering Dome's

master plan. I can't hold

much longer.

Plastic Man! Hey, guys! I found

Plastic Man! I think this is where we

exit fast.

Well, we know where Dr. Dome is heading.

But before I can stop him, I need all my

powers back.

Well?I'm working on it, Chief. Before

this case is over, you're going to

commend me. The only thing I'll commend

you on is your choice of housing. You

finally found a home that reflects your

personality.

Reflect. That's it. The chief just gave

me an idea how to get my powers back. I'm

going to reflect them back. HuhI don't

get it. Come on, I'll show you in London.

This last job should confuse

everybody. No one will guess that my

master plan involves stealing something

far greater than mere

jewels. I'm

sh**ting for the moon!

sh**t away, Daddy-whaddy, but start with

Big Ben.

Quite right, my dear. Hold it steady,

Hula. This mirror's our only chance to

reflect Dr. Dome's Rey under Plaz. I

just hope Plaz's theory is right, and

this will give him back his powers.

This has just gotta work. Now,

Big Ben, steal the brown

jewel. Here

comes the rain. We've got it! Oh, no!

We're missing Plaz. Hold it

steady! Here I

am! Over here! Daddy-o, your

ray has been deflected away.

What's going on?Drat!

It's that plastic pinhead and his

ding-dong friends. They're trying to

restore Plastic Man's powers. Quick,

Pop, turn off the transmitter.

Made it. Now to check my powers and

capture Dr. Dong.

Nice work, partners. Boss, it's Plastic

Man. Let's get out of here. We've got to

start Operation Neptune Rocket.

Plastic Man may have busted my Big Ben

caper, but there's no way he can stop my

master plan. I'm going to steal

the moon. with the Neptune rocket. You

mean the rocket they're launching

tomorrow at Cape Canaveral? The very one!

I'll zap it with my plastic power

transmitter and make it elastic.

Then it'll steal the moon

for me.

Dr. Doe mentioned something about a

rocket, but I can't remember what. But

how are we gonna find him?He could be

anywhere. Gee, I missed yesterday's

comics. Oh, this is no time to

read the comics, Hula. Wait, Penny. Take

a look at that paper. I think I just

figured out Dr. Dome's devious plan. I'm

sure his plan has to do with the Neptune

rocket. Pumpin' palm trees. This is

yesterday's paper, class. The rocket's

scheduled to be launched today. Well, we

better get moving. There's no time to

lose.

Yeah! At last! My moment of triumph!

Now, to zap this mighty

moon rocket! I command your

Neptune rocket! Wrap around the

moon and steal it for me!

And he zapped the rocket! I've got to

stop it!

Blastic Man! He's ruining

everything!

Gotta turn it back.

These mountains are a little too close

for comfort. Let's hang a left.

Oh, I think I took the wrong turn.

Time to head home. Look, Boss,

Plastic Man's coming back. And he's

headed right for us. You're right, fat

brains. So I'm going to make a quick

exit. Hey, wait

for us. They're getting away.

Let's stop them.

This is where I get off.

Hey, Boss, slow down. Well,

wait for us.

There's go Dome's hench room. This calls

for some fancy flying.

Nice work, Penny. Now I'll be back with

Dr. Dome and his daughter.

Uh-oh, Dayo. Plastic Man is

following us. He won't catch us.

Well, looks like we meet again, Dr. Dome.

All my brilliant planning. You always

ruin everything, Plastic Man. I

do my best. And now to turn you and your

daughter over to the police.

Oh, you are terrific, Plaz. Because of

you, Dr. Dome is in jail where he

belongs. Your reputation is saved.

Yeah, and his plastic power transmitter

is at the bottom of the Atlantic Ocean,

right where we dumped him.

You did a good job on Dr. Dome, but it

took you long enough. Well, Chief, I

don't like to rush things. After all, you

don't pay me for nothing. Plaz, sometimes

I wonder.

Security is perfect, Plastic Man. Nobody

goes in or out of that room or isn't

authorized. Well, I know you're doing the

best job you can, Captain, but 17 other

top engineers and technicians have

vanished recently. Well, it won't happen

in my city. Let's hope not.

Excuse me. Didn't we meet at my cousin

Barney's luau?Uh,

pardon my friend here. That's all right.

He's kind of cute. And so are you. Go

right in, Professor Devlin. You're

expected. So that's Professor Devlin,

one of the world's leading environmental

engineers. Remember, we're here to

protect the professor and her colleagues,

which means keep a professional

distance. Now, what do you think she

meant by that?

And so, I conclude that within a few

years, it will be the insects who rule

the world, and humanity is in danger.

Surely the problem is not as critical as

you suggest, Professor Devlin. It is

indeed critical. Why, at our current

rate, I predict that... Help!

Help HelpUh

oh, trouble. Stop

there!

Sorry, Captain. Those are the biggest

bees I've ever seen. And they're taking

Professor Devlin into that weird airship.

Plus, we've got to do something.

Exactly what I intend to do.

Something. Penny, get Hula Hula in the

plaster jet and follow me. Follow you?

I'm hitching a ride. Oh,

I didn't count on that.

Plastic Man, come in. Here I am,

Chief. You look terrible. Your face is

all flattened out. Oh, sorry, Chief, but

at the moment, I'm in disguise. I'm about

to single-handedly capture the B-men who

grabbed Professor Devlin. No, you're not.

I'm not?No. We want the mastermind

behind whatever this plot is. And you've

grabbed on to the first solid lead we've

had. So your mission is to keep hanging

on and see where they're going. You can

count on me, Chief. I won't let you down.

But I... will...

you'll haveBe leaving now, plastic man.

I have a rule about stowaways.

Here's a little sleep--

Sweet dreams, my prince

of fool.

I can't understand it. Plash should have

contacted us on the video phone by now.

I'm worried, Hula. So am I, Penny.

All we can do is continue our search

pattern and hope Plash or that V ship

turns up. All right, now what's

everybody looking at?That kite stuck in

the power lines. Oh, I'm afraid there's

no way to get your kite down, son. If the

wind stops, it'll be burned to a crisp by

the power lines. It's not my kite. It

just floated there. Leaping leprechauns.

That's no kite. That's Plastic Man. And

it looks like this time he's the one in

big trouble.

I don't see Players anywhere. There he

is. We've got to save him before he gets

well done by those electric wires.

Hang on, Players, we're on our

way.

Hey, where am I?Now,

Hula.

Ooh, that was close. But next time I go

kite flying, remind me to use a longer

tail.

You can't get away with this.

I am Honey Bee. I can

get away with anything I please.

Soon the whole world will be in

my... And you will be

my drone.

With your help, my heat m*ssile

will choke the atmosphere. Turning the

world into a hot house.

Nothing will survive. I

will survive. We the bees

and I. Like warm weather.

The rest of the world, they will survive.

Only if they elect me their queen.

Oh, honeybee!

Queen of the

world! It's hopeless, plants. We'll never

find them this way. Heart, Penny. You

gotta have heart. I had the computer

chart the most probable route of the bee

ship. The location of the bee men has to

be somewhere inside this red circle. But

there's nothing there but water and more

water. Not quite an island,

a newly formed volcanic island, the

perfect spot for a hideout. Hang on,

I'm going down for a closer look.

Welcome to my travels,

said the honey bee to the plastic man.

Mother of Maui, what's happening?It's

like beeswax. I think

we found the secret bee base. Please,

do something. This

beeswax, or whatever it is, has coated

my skin. I can't stretch.

Leap and luau, we're going to crash. Ohh

ohh I won't let you crash, plastic

man. You are too valuable an

asset to squander

aimlessly.

We found the hive, players, but as long

as you're covered with that yellow stuff,

we're prisoners.

Exactly right, my dears.

Welcome to Honey Bee's High.

Plastic Man, you were

just in time to witness

the beginning of my plan to rule

the world. What are you

talking about?I, with the help of

my prisoners, have created a

device to turn the earth into an

overheated hothouse, unless

I am made queen. I'm not

gonna let you do that. You can't

stop me, plastic man!

This time, I am afraid you're really

stuck! She does have a point.

It'll take a good shower to wash that

beeswax off. Shower?That's it!I

don't get it. You will. Reach your foot

over and kick the fire alarm. Okay, but I

still don't get it.

I feel better already. You two release

Honey Bee's other prisoners. I'm gonna

stomp that rocket. Plastic Man's

escaped. Fire the rocket at

once! Uh-oh. Fire two.

That elastic fool is going to ruin

everything.

What goes up must come down.

Have you folks out in a jiff?Look out!

Here's my version of smoke gets in your

eyes. Oh, players, you're wonderful.

Yeah, I know. We've got to find Honeybee

before she gets away. You guys go free

the engineers. The bee men are

locked up, and the engineers Honeybee

captured are free. But where did players

go?That must be him in the plaster jet.

That's not players. It's Honeybee at the

controls.

Goodbye, plastic

man. Thanks for letting me borrow

your jet.

Always glad to give a lady a lift. Just

remember to always keep your seatbelt

fastened whenever you're flying.

Good afternoon, Chief. I'd like you to

meet Honeybee. Looks like you've

finally wrapped this one up. We're on

autopilot for state prison. I'll send

someone to pick up the others on the

island. Now, why don't you unmask our

friend?Umm

Professor Devlin!I kept telling

people that the insects were going to

rule the world. I just didn't tell them

the chief insect was going to be myself.

Like I always say, never trust a

beautiful woman. Mm-hmm

Oh, well, not you, of course, Chief. I'll

talk to you later.

I think I did it again.
