01x16 - Plastic Mummy Meets Disco Mummy - City of Ice - Plasticman Meets Plastic Ape - The Crime Costume Caper - The Ro

Post by bunniefuu »

From out of the pages of DC Comics comes

the world's newest and greatest

superhero, Plastic Man. He

can spring, he can stretch,

he can fly, he can bounce,

he can change his shape,

and he can even dance.

Each week, Plastic Man will face the

world's greatest collection of villains.

There's action. There's

comedy.

There's danger.

There's penny. There's bad

luck cooler.

There's plenty for everybody on the

Plastic Man Comedy Adventure Show.

Eat your heart out, paint man!

We have found it at last, the fabulous

treasure of Cortez.

Incredible. It is worth billions. And it

belongs to the Mexican government's

museum for all the world to enjoy. It

will take many men to lift this heavy

stone door. Yes, we will remove the

treasure tomorrow.

Fools, I will remove it

tonight.

Nothing can stop Disco Mummy from

collecting the treasures of the world.

We have it, Disco Mummy. Right on,

Professor Cyclone. The Cortez treasure is

ours. Move it, Figor. We must get the

treasure to my secret city before dawn.

Leafing hula hoopers, Plaz. That

dinosaur's gonna get one skyscraper-sized

bellyache if he eats that whole building.

You better believe it, Hula Hula. And I'm

getting a skyscraper-sized appetite

watching him eat it. Ohh I sure could go

for a hot dog and some popcorn. How about

you, Penny?I could go for a hot dog

popcorn and plastic, man. Sit tight,

Plaz. Refreshments coming up.

The way to my plastic hero's heart is

through his plastic stomach.

Surprise! Your favorite plant?

Onion soup, pheasant under glass,

spaghetti and meatballs, soda pop. Wow!

Some snack, Penny. Yeah, a

soup-a-feast. I'll open a soda pop.

Oh, no! The bottle cap hit the ejection

seat

Sorry, Plaz. I forgot I'm a bad

luck jinx. That's OK, Hula Hula. You

can't help it. Monotiki say, man who

has bad luck should spend life tucked in

kangaroo pouch.

It's the Chief.

Hi, Chief. Sloppy, sloppy.

Oh, well, you see, Hula, Hula, uh.. I

mean, I had a little accident, and I...

Never mind the excuses. Disco Mummy

has stolen the Cortez treasure. She's

reported heading north on Mexican

Mountain Road X-24, map coordinate

treasure. And no foul-ups.

Right, Chief. I'll wrap up that mummy

before you can snap your fingers.

Boy, is she ever in a hurry.

We should be over the right map

coordinate now, Plant. That Mexican

jungle sticker than my backyard on Maui.

You can say that again. That Mexican

jungle sticker?Hold it. I think I see

him. But I've got to be sure.

I'll stretch down for a closer look.

I can't take any chances. I'll stay

hidden and listen in to be sure it's

Disco Mummy.

But the treasure is with millions. We can

sell it, become rich and retire. No way.

I'm a queen, not a thief. The treasure

will be used to decorate my secret

palace. to

bring an Aztec queen to life. I should

have experimented with an Aztec feet.

Ouch! What the...?Hey!

Thanks. It's Plastic Man.

He must be after the treasure. I'll take

care of him.

Glass, what happened?I think she saw me.

What do we do now, Plaz?Follow that

mummy. Plastic Man's plane will

never be able to follow us through this

narrow canyon. They're getting away!

Not yet. Penny will fly us through that

dangerous narrow canyon, right, Penny?You

name it, and I'll fly it, Plaz.

Hold tight. Good girl, Penny.

Give Disco Mummy a taste of plastic

power.

What's happened to the road?I don't know.

Bye-bye, into the line.

Stick around, mummy lady. I shall

return.

So much for the treasure. Now to your

disco mummy and her men.

Wait for me, players. I'll help you.

Now, Hula, Hula, wait.

Too late. Hula Hula's incredible

bad luck brought on a hurricane.

Move it. Now's our chance to escape.

They were lucky that storm came up. They

wouldn't want to meet Plastic Man again.

Well, I would.

What a man.

So, you let Disco Mummy escape.

But I got the treasure, Chief. All right.

I'll arrange for a special train, guarded

by Mexican troops, to transport the

treasure to the museum. It's up to you

to see that it gets safely through the

jungle. And this time,

don't fail. Have I ever failed

you?Yes. Uh, well, let's put it another

way. Have I ever failed you in the last

escape. Boy, what a

memory.

We must get the Cortez treasure back from

Plastic Man. Yes. the treasure

and plastic man. I must

have that handsome cat here at my side as

my stretchy, strong man, yummy

mummy king. But first,

we must locate all long and handsome with

my trained raven and its miniature TV

camera. Go, my pet, find the

treasure, and send back pretty pictures

of my plastic print.

We got it made. With all them soldiers

guarding the train and Plastic Man as

advanced lookout, there's no way that

mummy's gonna get this treasure. Send

your Plastic Man. Is everything clear up

ahead?Clear as a bell, El Capitan. No

sign of trouble for Miles.

The train is too heavily guarded. We'll

never get the treasure. Oh, yes, we will.

I have a plan to get the treasure and

plastic man. And that handsome

plastic dream boy will help me get

both.

Well, looks like we're gonna make it

without a mishap. Hey, what's

that?It's a

runaway boulder. Leaf and pineapples,

we're gonna get pulverized. Don't worry.

Class will save us. Time

to spring into action.

Easy come, easy go. Plastic

Man! Plastic Man! Go back,

go back! It's a disco bummy trap!

What do we do now, players?I'm gonna

rescue that poor girl and capture Disco

Mummy. You stay here. Me too.

Especially you.

Help! Help

I'd better rescue that poor girl first.

Poor Collective Man, you saved me.

What's happening?A... Feeding...

dozen...

Your zen now leaves worked, Professor

Cyclone. Plastic Man is now a

mummy.

But we still don't have the Cortez

treasure. We will have it, Professor

Cyclone. And after you transform him into

my permanent mummy, Plastic Mummy will

help us get it.

It is done, Disco Mummy. He will remain a

mummy as long as he remains wrapped up.

Excellent, Professor Cyclone. Now

Plastic Man will be at my side forever.

Rise, my plastic mummy king.

Where am I?You are

under my control and will do whatever I

order. Yes, my queen.

What is your command?In the

morning, the train carrying the

courtier's treasure will stop for water

in the jungle village of Porta Porta. You

will go with me to Porta Porta and bring

back the treasure. Yes, my queen.

Crumbling coconuts, Penny. We've searched

the jungle back there for hours, and

there's no sign of Plastic Man. Which

means that Disco Mummy must have captured

him. Fear not, Sherlock Hula

Hula, to the rescue! We'll go into the

local cantina, where I'll do some

undercover investigating to find Disco

Mummy. I know the head waiter, so leave

everything to me. I was afraid you were

gonna say that.

We got to be careful. Act like we're

customers and keep your ears open.

Senor Hula, Buenos Dias. Long time no

see. Pretend

you don't know me. Just serve me

something to eat while I ask you some

questions about this cold mummy. Oh, I

see. We talk what you eat.

Here, the house specialty. Chili pepper

and volcano soup.

Hola, Hola. Are you all right?

Now I am. Shulhendran Senor Vigor. He

used to work for Senorita Disco Mommy.

You did?I mean, uh, you

did, huhTalk, Vigor. How come

you quit?Disco Mommy used to like me

best. Now she's got herself a new

Plastic Mommy boyfriend. Plastic

Mommy?Si. Plastic Man. He's a

mummy now, and he's going to stay a mummy

as long as he's wrapped up. Good grief.

We've got to find class and unwrap him.

It's a giant! No!

No It's a giant

mummy! Oh, look out there! Leaping sugar

canes, something's rung at the train.

Get rid of the guards and get the

treasure plus! Yes, my queen. Help!

You crew! Let's get out of here!

It's Plastic Man.

Leaping coconuts! Plastic Man's stealing

the treasure car! Come on! We've gotta

stop him!

We have the treasure! close the mummycase!

We got 'em! We don't got 'em.

We got 'em! We don't got 'em. We

got 'em! Capture them!

Yay! They're

getting away with the treasure. None of

our headquarters. We must capture Disco

Mummy and Plastic Man.

Nido Plaz, baby. You're my

swinging disco king. And you're my

swinging disco queen. Petrified

pineapples, we got to do something, right?

And I've got a plan. A dangerous,

crazy, foolhardy plan. But it's our

only chance. What? You're going to use

your bad luck to save Plaz. You're

right. It's too dangerous, crazy, and

foolhardy. It's our only shot. Just get

close to Disco Mummy, and your bad luck

will do the rest. And when it does,

grab the end of Class's mummy wrappings

and unwrap him so he returns to normal.

Oh, yeah?How do I get past him?With

Headquarters' latest gadget.

Mobbing the Mechanical Flee.

Clear for take off.

Good work, Marvin.

OK, bad luck. Do your stuff.

My paddler got my good friend. Oh,

no. Is that all that's left of Plastic

Man?Oh, well, he was a great

mummy king while he lasted.

So long, pal. And thanks

for chewing off my wrappings. Uh oh,

Disco Mummy's gone and Penny and Hula

Hula are our prisoners. Quit worrying.

I'm back to normal and I know where Disco

Mummy's secret palace is. So all I got to

do is capture her, rescue Penny and Hula

Hula, take care of her henchmen, find the

treasure and get it safely to the museum.

Eat your heart out, ache man!

We have a disco mummy! The Cortez

treasure is ours, thanks to Plastic Man.

Yes, but I shall miss him.

Not for long, mummy lady.

Plastic Man, you're alive!

Yes, and now you're going to dance to my

tune. A last dance right to

jail. Guess again, my plastic prince.

Look!

Lion! Hey you! Make one move and I will

pull this lever to open the idol's hands

and drop your friends into the blaming

pit below. I

guess the next move is up to you, disco

mummy. Wrong! The next move is up

to you. That

music, it must be hypnotic. It's forcing

me to dance. And not very well.

But well enough to dance you into that

fire pit where your friends will join

you. Class, you've got to do something.

Don't worry, Hula Hula. Disco mummy

didn't count on my plastic earplugs

or my plastic nose.

You saved yourself, plastic man, but not

your friends.

What do you know?Plastic Man saved us and

caught one of them. Get him!

Toto! Toto!

Sorry, fellas. Fun's over.

Well, that takes care of the guys. Now

for the gal. You'll never get me, you

plastic fool!

This'll stop him.

I hope my bowling arm is as good as it

used to be.

He was lucky that time. But he'll never

get through this door.

Hi!

Your next dance will be at the prison

prom, disco mummy.

You sure were super class. Yeah, I

was. By the way, who's flying the ship?

Autopilot. HuhHow come?

Because I saw the way you danced with

that mummy gal, and I was wondering if

you could do as well with a real gal.

Oh,

hi, Chief. The museum officials thank you

for getting the treasure safely back. And

I thank you for getting Disco Mummy and

her men safely back to jail. You know you

can always count on me, Chief. Yes, and

I counted how long. took you to wrap up

this case. Two days, six hours,

and 33 minutes.

Oh, well. Nobody's perfect.

There's the mountain that looks

like an Indian head. And

those must be the peaks of the

Three Sisters.

So the legendary City of

Ice has to be

right here.

I've found it! I've

found it!The

City of Ice.

And there is the Temple

of Ice.

Astonishing.

Please, I come as a friend.

The secret. I

found the secret.

The fools. They think I'm some sort of

goddess. But when I learn how to reverse

the powers of these vapors, when I can

turn young people to old, then the whole

world will be at my feet.

Gee, players, I never thought we'd be

taking a vacation on an Alaskan cruise

ship. I just thought we'd cool it for a

while, Penny. By the way, where's Hula

Hula?I thinkWe went for a jog around the

deck to warm up. Pop and pineapples.

I've never met a famous scientist before.

Professor Howard, what do you do?I'm an

experimental chemist, hula hula. I

specialize in working with exotic gases.

Gee, that sounds important. I hope

someday my work will be a great benefit

to mankind. Hmm

What's the math, players?Those icebergs,

Penny. I've been watching them. They seem

to be heading toward our ship, almost as

if they were aiming at us. Do something,

players. The ship will be crushed. I

think this calls for the old ice tongs

bit.

Those fellas are definitely not friendly.

Gush, I've neverI've seen an iceberg up

close before. This must be my lucky

day.

Hey, are you guys sure you have the right

deck?What?What's the meaning of this?

Les, you were wonderful. You

saved the whole ship. Oh, any

plastic hero would have done the same

thing. Plus, something terrible has

happened. A bunch of chalky white g*ons

took Professor Howard. I should have

known. A diversionary attack, and I

fell for it.

So now you know why you've been brought

here, Professor Howard. I need your help.

Without him, I cannot learn the secret of

reversing the youth gas. And if I

refuse?You will not refuse.

For once I have the power to make people

old. I can demand anything of the world.

Suffering surfers, if we only had some

idea why anybody would want to steal the

Professor. Yeah, then at least we'd have

some idea where to look.

The chief. At times like this, I

wish I had an answering service.

Hi Chief. What's up?Professor Howard was

taken off your own ship. Another

scientist, a Doctor Frost, female,

elderly, has also disappeared recently in

the Arctic. We have reason to believe the

two disappearances are connected. Why,

Chief?Dr. Frost had an obsession with an

ancient Eskimo legend, something about a

mysterious Arctic youth gas.

That was Professor Howard's specialty,

exotic gases. This may be of vital

importance to the world, Plastic Man.

Don't let the leaves get cold.

Now all we have to do is find the source

of that ancient Eskimo legend. Maybe I

can help, Plaz. I just happen to have

this Eskimo pal, Nanu Nanook. He knows

all the Eskimo legends. What are we

waiting for?The

Mat Nanu Nanook Davis leads to this cave.

Let's go. Wow,

look at that. A city of

ice. Crackling

coconuts. That's really

eerie.

Look out!

Plas, help! Plas! It's

no use. I can't budge it. Huna, Huna,

look! Holy

Honolulu.

Not even a crack to slip through. Plas!

Help, Plas! The same creatures who took

Professor Howard. Do your stuff.

I've been waiting for you, plastic

man. I'm Dr.

Frost. Dr. Frost?But she's an

old woman. Was. Then the

legend is true. Where are Penny and Hula

Hula?I have done my best to make

them comfortable. Help us, players!

What sort of diabolical plot is this?

Not diabolical. A simple law

of science. Observe.

Ha! You missed them. I intended to miss

them. But next time, I won't.

Unless you help me. You see, my

associate, Professor Howard, does not

have the necessary equipment to carry out

his experiments. You can becomehis

equipment. You gotta be kidding.

I guess she's not. I know you don't want

to help Dr. Frost, Professor, but you can

help me. Anything, she must be stopped.

Then you must immediately invent a

freezing gas. Freezing gas?Exactly.

I must have a way of protecting Penny and

Hula Hula from Dr. Frost before we can

make our own escape. I understand. I'll

I'll do as you say. I've

done it, Plastic Man. I've done it.

And it's time for some plastic action.

The old garden hose bit.

When I give the word, Professor, just

turn my hand. With pleasure.

Soon I shall have my aging

gas. Then this beautiful

planet will be mine.

Hi, guys. Oh, Plas. I knew you'd

come. Yeah, me too. Oh, I'll have you out

of here in a minute. Just stay cool.

CoolTurn me on, Professor. Turn me on.

Plastic Man.

Oh, Plas, you're terrific.

Iceman. Iceman! Hurry, get

Professor Howard and get out of here.

I'll take care of Dr. Frost.

Iceman! Iceman!

It's no use, Dr. Frost. Your evil dream

is shattered. You're coming back with me.

Never! Seize him!

Try a little new gas, fellas.

Don't complain. It isn't everyone who

gets a second chance. And now for

you, Dr. Frost.

Your evil dream is ended.

It's an earthquake. Look.

Dr. Frost.

Everything's lost,

even my youth. Your

ill-gotten youth, doctor. You

can't blame a girl for trying,

plastic man. We

let the authorities decide that. Let'sgo.

Well, our vacation may be a flop, but the

chief seemed pleased with our work. I

thought you were wonderful, Plaz. Plaz?

Penny, look at my hair. It's turning

white. I'm getting old. Oh,

Hula Hula, that's snow.

Gee, it's great to be young again.

But you know what? What, Hula Hula?I'd

rather be in Hawaii.
