Look at that scapula.
That is a tooth that bit
all the way through.
It would have to be
larger than a wolf.
That's crazy.
Holy crap. Look at this.
That's a communication signal.
I think its two things
talking to each other.
Uh-oh.
ROYSTON:
There's a signal interference
to my controller.
ERIK:
There's a gap in the data
right where he called out
controller interference.
That UAP is basically
in the triangle airspace.
TRAVIS: Like it's turning
to make a final approach.
Like it's coming in
for a landing.

NARRATOR: There is
a ranch in Northern Utah.
It is considered the epicenter
of the strangest and most
disturbing phenomena on Earth:
animal mutilations,
bizarre UFO sightings
and unusual energies that
have proven harmful to humans.
For 20 years, the
federal government
tried to find
answers and failed.
Now a new team of
dedicated scientists,
researchers and
experts has taken over.
They are determined to
solve the mystery and reveal...
The Secret of Skinwalker Ranch.
ROYSTON: Erik, you copy?
Yeah, Jim. Go ahead.
ROYSTON: Hey, we've
been out at the triangle
and I've got to tell you,
we just picked up
some really
strange lidar up there
that we're trying to figure out.
What do you mean by strange?
We got this weird
anomaly over the triangle.
- What do you think he's talking about?
- I don't know.
Last week
we recorded images of a
UAP that suddenly appeared
right above the spot
that we call the triangle.
So this morning, Erik
and I asked Jim Royston
and Sam Deriso of
OmniTeq to scan the area
with their drone-based
infrared lidar device to see
if it could reveal what might
have caused that phenomenon.
We flew the drone one time.
Got some very interesting
kind of crazy lidar data, uh,
that does kind of confirm some
of the things we saw last year.
Yeah, we have it
recorded and, uh,
I'm gonna send you
the data right now.
And then we'll come
in and take a look at it.
Copy that. Go ahead
and sh**t it over.
I want to see it.
TRAVIS: Erik and I
were really stunned
when Jim said that he
thought his lidar data
may have confirmed what we
saw at the triangle last year...
Oh, we got a malfunction.
Everybody watch out.
There's something in the
sky above the rocket right here.
Because it was in that same spot
that we captured
high-speed camera images
of some kind of a blob
that might have caused
a rocket to explode
just 31 feet in the air.
- What is that red circle?
- Whoa.
TRAVIS: And then
later in the year,
it's also right
where Jim obtained
lidar images of a circular ring
with the black
void in the center.
So we couldn't wait to
find out what he captured
this time and hoped it might
explain the crazy phenomena
that keeps happening
at the triangle.
ROYSTON: Erik, did
you get those files?
There should've been some
movie files and some JPEGs.
Yeah, I see-I see images
and I see some,
uh, movie files here.
Uh, do you want me to
just start with the first file?
ROYSTON: Yeah,
let's start with that.
Okay, I'm gonna
put it over here.
- ROYSTON: This is my controller.
- TRAVIS: For the lidar?
ROYSTON: Yes. I called Sam over
and had him go ahead
and pull out his cellphone,
it's what he's
capturing this on.
So if you play this...
that's right in the center,
right above the triangle.
You'll see, as I
turn this around,
you'll see, one,
this weird symmetry.
TRAVIS: Looks like a doughnut
floating there as you turn it.
Keep it going and let's
look at the different views
that you give us.
Okay, so what the hell is
generating these returns?
ROYSTON: And look how
clean the lines are around it.
That's what just
kind of blew my mind.
TRAVIS: You know, the
interesting thing to me is
it looks kind of funnel-shaped.
ERIK: Whoa.
You know, the-the
really crazy piece to this is
this looks like it
could be an extension
of whatever that is
you saw last year.
That bright circle,
perfect circle you measured
last year on the ground.
- It's in the same location.
- Yeah. Yeah.
That is just tantalizing, guys.
It looks like a dadgum hourglass
or the, you know, the
pictures that you see on papers
and graphics of traversable
Lorentzian wormholes.
I mean, think about it.
Wow.
TRAVIS: For much
of the last century,
scientists such as
Albert Einstein have
theorized that wormholes...
Which are passageways
between two distant
points in space...
Could actually exist.
And what Jim and Sam
captured on their lidar device
appears to have
the very structure
of a theoretical wormhole.
Could that be what
exists above the triangle?
And is that what's causing all
these phenomena to happen
in this area?
I want to catch
this thing again.
- TRAVIS: Absolutely.
- I want us to do whatever it takes
to catch that thing again.
Yup. This triangle's got us.
You know what?
If that's going on right
now, there might be,
the anomaly might
actually be active right now.
- ERIK: All right. So let's head out.
- Yeah.
TRAVIS: Yeah, we need
to load all of that in the truck.
After what Jim and Sam
showed us on their lidar scan,
Erik and I wanted
to get the team
out to the triangle immediately.
All right. Here we go.
We wanted to see if the
phenomenon would reappear
so we could figure
out exactly what it was.
- You got the plate?
- Yep.
TRAVIS: Because
rockets have repeatedly
helped us observe phenomenon
on the ranch, our
plan was to launch
several of them equipped
with GPS devices
straight up above the triangle
and then photograph each launch
with high-speed cameras.
The goal was to
see if we could cause
anything to appear that
was potentially related
to the ring-shaped lidar anomaly
that Jim Royston
had just recorded.
Rocket's hot!
And while we
finished getting ready,
Erik headed to a
brand-new observation post
we call the black box.
It's located southeast
of the triangle
and it enables him to monitor
the live GPS data
from each of the rockets
as they pass through the area
where we detected
the strange lidar ring.
Wait, watch out, that
doesn't go all the way.
TRAVIS: And finally, to help
us get an even wider view
of anything that might appear
during the rocket launches,
ranch caretakers Tom Lewis
and Kandus Linde set up
an additional high-speed camera
several hundred yards
southeast of the triangle.
Everyone be notified that we are
about to start doing
some launches,
uh, so be prepared to
catch it on the high-speed
and, uh, to help spot
where it comes down.
The wind's blowing,
uh, pretty hard right now,
so we may need as many eyes
as we can get.
Copy that. We'll be ready.
Kaleb, you can do
a countdown for me.
All right, you let me
know when you want me
to go hot on the battery.
I'm ready whenever
you are, man. Do it.
- Okay, we're armed.
- [high-pitched beeping]
Rocket's hot!
KALEB: We will be launching in
five,
four, three,
two, one.
- Oh, that's a good one.
- BRYANT: Yeah, that's perfect.
TRAVIS: What have
we got? Oh, wow.
Hey, Erik. You copy?
Yeah. Go ahead, Travis.
TRAVIS: Yeah, Erik.
I'm looking at this trace.
It got to about 2,000 feet high,
but this is showing it at only
about 150 feet or something.
TRAVIS: Holy crap. It sure does.
That is really weird.
Now, we all saw that
rocket sh**t straight up
a couple thousand
feet in the air.
But the data from the GPS
device inside of it showed
that at an altitude of 150 feet,
it turned northeast toward
the face of the nearby Mesa,
where last year we saw a UAP
exit from that very same spot.
All right, well, we're getting
ready for the next launch,
so just stand by.
ERIK: Perfect.
Standing by for launch.
TRAVIS: So, could all of
this be related to the thing
that Jim Royston spotted
today on his lidar scans?
Maybe launching
another rocket could get
something to happen
that would help us find out.
All right, everybody be
advised we're about to launch
- another rocket. -Okay.
- [high-pitched beeping]
In five, four,
three, two,
one.
ERIK: So, Travis?
Yeah. Go ahead, Erik.
Um...
the data looks really messed-up.
TRAVIS: Oh, wow.
Dragon, come look at this.
This is crazy.
TRAVIS: Dragon,
come look at this.
- BRYANT: Okay.
- TRAVIS: This is crazy.
You saw that rocket, right?
It went 2,000 feet high.
Look at what the
GPS is telling us it did.
The rocket on the launch
never got higher than the mesa
and it looks like it turned
and then it went
west of the triangle.
What?
I don't know what's really
going on above the triangle,
but right where we
captured new lidar images
of a ring-like
anomaly earlier today,
the rockets that
we just launched
are showing GPS data
that doesn't match at all
with their actual flight paths.
I have no idea
what to make of that.
- TRAVIS: That makes no sense.
- BRYANT: Okay.
- Well, we're gonna try again.
- TRAVIS: You're dadgum right we are.
Hey, everybody, be advised
we're gonna launch
in less than one minute.
So we wanted to keep launching
rockets up through the triangle
to see if whatever
was causing this
might actually be revealed.
You good there?
- I think so.
- All right.
BRYANT: Okay, we got juice.
Five, four,
three, two, one.
The GPS data from
that rocket is wrong, too.
It says the rocket
didn't go high at all.
Look, it just went to the
west of the triangle again.
You... [sighs]
TRAVIS: Hey, Erik.
It looks like it turned
and went west of the triangle.
Yeah, I get it. Uh,
Travis, this doesn't
make any sense.
I don't know what
we're looking at here.
At launch, the GPS
data looks nothing at all
like the actual
trajectories of the rockets.
I'm watching them
in the cameras.
We really need to
understand what is happening
in this airspace
over the triangle.
- That's crazy, right there.
- Yeah.
ERIK: Hey Travis, I'm just
gonna shut down out here
and, uh, take a
look at the data.
Copy that.
Hey, everybody.
That's the last launch.
We're gonna start breaking down.
KANDUS: Thank you, Travis.
- Hello, hello.
- Hey, how you doing?
- KANDUS: Good to see you.
- Glad to have you guys out.
- Yeah, we're excited.
- Good to see you.
ERIK: While the rest of
the team review the data
from our experiment,
we're visiting
with Ben Woodruff at
the Hutchings Museum
in Lehi, Utah.
I want to show you
some amazing things,
kind of give you the results
of, uh, what we went over.
Okay.
On the starling, nothing has
eaten the inside of this bird.
But the brain is gone.
ERIK: I'm anxious
to find out his findings
on those specimens that
he collected from the ranch,
including a pair of birds
that didn't seem to be
decaying normally at all.
I'm just gonna take it off.
ERIK: And a rib specimen
from a cow that recently died,
with a puncture wound
that appeared to have
an entry point and
an expl*sive exit point.
BEN: The force that it
takes to go through that,
I mean, that would
break my teeth.
I've got a lot of samples
that we took on the ranch
the last time I was there.
The first thing... you
remember the starling?
The bird, we found a dead bird.
And you remember how
the brain was just gone?
- Yes. Yes.
- BEN: Completely just missing.
And you remember that
the muscle tissue was soft
and squishy, okay?
I've got a sample.
Now, first thing I want,
Erik, I want you to smell it.
Smell if you smell anything.
- Actually, I don't.
- Yeah, there's no smell.
This should either
be rotten to the core
or it should be mummified.
It should be totally
dried out, and it's neither.
So, I want you to look
on the screen over here
and take a look at
this tissue sample.
And what I want you
to see is that it is still
keeping its color
as if it's fresh.
- TOM: Weird. -KANDUS: Yeah.
- BEN: See how flexible that is?
ERIK: Wow.
BEN: Now, that's impossible.
Microbacteria
should be eating this,
consuming it, uh, and
it-it should not be soft.
And it should be discolored.
What on the ranch
could be making bacteria
- not consume something?
- Right.
Usually, when a small animal
dies of natural causes like this
what should happen
is the tendons tighten,
the muscles dry out,
rigor mortis sets in.
But in this case, that
has not been happening.
But what's really strange
is after I got home,
all the bird didn't decompose,
but the head started to.
Whatever at the ranch was
preventing decomposition,
started only on the
head, at my house.
- Now, that's interesting.
- BEN: Yeah.
It's like almost once it
was away from the ranch,
suddenly the laws of nature
were applying correctly.
Except for not to
the breast tissue.
-Mm. -BEN: It's really strange.
BRYANT: Skinwalker
Ranch is just that... it's a ranch.
There's times that
we find dead animals
like you would anywhere
else... birds, small animals.
But there's all sort of
strange things happening
with the decay
process of animals here.
And I wonder what in the
world happened on the property
that can cause
this sort of anomaly.
You guys brought
those two birds,
the starling that
we just looked at.
The grosbeak
was totally different.
Part of it did decompose
but I want to show you.
This is really, really strange.
From the bones, it looks
like it was flying along
and something went...
[mimics crunching]
- and just broke all the bones and left it.
- KANDUS: What?
The bones are busted up
and it hasn't been eaten.
Not by, like, a
predator or anything.
So, I wanted to show
you how this works.
We'll take a look at this
and you see how the
legs are just broken?
- TOM: Oh, yeah. -BRYANT: Contorted around.
- KANDUS: Whoa.
BEN: The wings,
see that break point?
So, this did not stay
squishy like the starling did.
But the bones... they're
all basically snapped.
ERIK: So, throughout
the entire body of this bird,
- the bones are broken?
- Mm-hmm.
Just... [imitates crunch]
It, again, the easiest
thing would be like
if it went "crunch,
crunch" and then dropped.
You don't just have
things break like that.
ERIK: Is there perhaps
some invisible force
that can be exerted
on a small bird
if it flies into a
particular region
of the space on the ranch?
Like, for example, the triangle,
and that could cause
that kind of physical trauma
to the extent that we're
breaking every bone in its body?
Do we have some kind
of invisible, physical object
in the airspace
causing this to happen?
BEN: So, that's the birds.
What I also want to talk
to you about was the cow.
- Okay.
- So, I wondered how did it die?
We don't know, but the
really strange thing was the rib.
On this rib, there
was this hole.
So, you see this right
here? That was a tooth mark.
- Mm-hmm.
- And on this side over here
is where you see where
it shattered outward.
ERIK: Yes.
BEN: So, there's only a
few animals that would fit.
So, I wanted to
experiment and see, okay,
could it be a coyote or a dog
and something of that size?
So, I took some
teeth from coyotes
and from a black bear
and I rigged them
up in a drill press.
I didn't turn the
drill press on,
I just anchored them in and
then pushed it down into this rib.
So, I want to show you
what happened. [chuckles]
These are the results.
So, these are all coyote teeth,
and the big one is
a black bear tooth.
ERIK: So, these look shattered.
BEN: They completely
shattered when I pushed down
and I wasn't, like, going hard.
So, whatever went through this
was able to do it
without shattering.
So, your options are...
And we talked about it before...
These shouldn't fit the
bill, but these are perfect.
This is a dire wolf.
Which is an extinct species.
TOM: That's crazy.
BEN: These
shouldn't fit the bill,
but these are perfect.
This is a dire wolf.
Which is an extinct species.
And as you can see, the
size fits into that hole perfectly.
It's a pointed tooth, which
is gonna puncture through
- But you see this ridge right here?
- ERIK: Yes.
- It's called a sagittal crest.
- ERIK: Yes.
And this allows much
more musculature
back here to bite
through that rib.
You have to have that sagittal
crest to offer more power.
ERIK: I was not
expecting to hear
these words come
out of Ben's mouth,
but what he told us
is the best match, structurally,
to what we've brought
to his laboratory
is in fact a dire wolf.
I have absolutely no framework
in which to accommodate
the presence of
a extinct species
on Skinwalker Ranch.
How is this even possible?
BEN: It sounds
crazy, but that is what
fits perfectly is a dire wolf.
Now, I'm not saying
that you have dire wolves
running around your ranch.
But I'm just saying,
biologically speaking,
that's what fits the bill.
Anything else would
either shatter their own teeth
or shatter the
rib in the process.
- Take a look at that.
- That's crazy.
- Dire wolf.
- Mm-hmm.
BRYANT: We've heard stories
from when the Sherman
family owned the ranch.
About Mr. Sherman
sh**ting a dire wolf...
and having it not die.
And as they tracked
it across the field,
the tracks led to the river
and then never
came out of the river.
Could there really still be
dire wolves on this property,
scavenging on this carcass?
BEN: This makes sense to
this, but I'd feel a lot better
if you were handing
me a 10,000 year old
rib of a buffalo and
saying "What did this?"
and I'd be like, "Well, it's
pretty obvious what did it,"
but you've got a modern cow
and an animal that's
supposed to be extinct.
The whole thing doesn't
make sense to me.
ERIK: I really respect
the fact that you're not
jumping right into a hypothesis
when we don't have
enough information here.
Not at all. We just have bits
and pieces that tell a story.
But we've got to
have all the pieces
to understand what's going on.
Can't thank you enough.
- I feel like I'm learning something every time we talk.
- BEN: Mm. Great.
Well, thanks for coming out.
- Thank you.
- Appreciate it very much.
BEN: You're very
welcome. Thank you.
BRYANT: What are we
looking at today, Erik?
ERIK: The rocket launches
that we did out at the triangle.
I got to tell you, the data
just don't make a
lot of sense to me.
After a couple days of
processing the GPS data
and scouring the
high-speed camera images
that were collected during
our rocket experiment
at the triangle,
we were all on edge to see
just what might be revealed
about the ring-shaped
and blob anomalies
that were documented there.
Well, here's our familiar, uh,
And again, we're talking
about a rocket launch
from here at the
center of the triangle
going to, you know,
nearly 2,000 feet or so.
- Yep, yep.
- And we all saw it.
- Yes.
- Okay.
ERIK: Why is it going
right towards the out point
of that in and out event
that we've been studying?
Look at that.
TRAVIS: And look... it
takes off, goes toward
the in and out spot,
turned a 90-degree turn
and come back this way.
I don't think any of those
data points even correlate
with anywhere the rocket was.
The rocket didn't sh**t across
the top of the ground like that
and then decide
to go up over there
at the exit point
of the in and out.
ERIK: I see what
you're talking about.
TRAVIS: And
then-then turn around.
But, really, the rocket went
up to 2,000 feet straight up.
ERIK: Why is it going this way?
We're still seeing this-this
pathological mismatch
between what the
rockets actually did
and what the GPS
data are telling us.
THOMAS: So what you're telling
me is the data that we're seeing here
in no way represents what
you guys watched happen.
- BRYANT: Not even remotely.
- It's just wrong.
But how it's wrong might
have something to teach us.
So, now I'm excited
to see the others.
I'll show you the second one.
THOMAS: Oh, wow.
- That's similar.
- TRAVIS: About the same thing.
And look at... all these
rockets went 2,000,
- 1,500 feet at a minimum.
- KALEB: Yeah.
TRAVIS: There's no point
in that whole thing
that's 1,500 feet.
ERIK: Uh, there's no
mistaking the difference
between this and 2,000 feet.
THOMAS: So is it
this way for all of them?
- Yeah.
- THOMAS: Wow.
- It's definitely interesting.
- Yep.
ERIK: So I might expect
this type of behavior
from a rocket that has a problem
with the fins, okay,
but, no, it did not do this.
- Let me give you the next launch.
- Yeah.
TRAVIS: And again,
it jogs around some
with randomness and
then it goes to the west
of the triangle.
What the crap?
And now, here's the weird thing.
Look at where the
data points stop.
That's right where the Lunasonde
and Juniper targets were
identified underground.
BRYANT: Really?
That's what I was
expecting someone to say.
In the past few years,
we've conducted
two underground scanning
surveys of the ranch.
One was a magnetometer
survey conducted in 2020
by a company named
Juniper Unmanned.
And the other, which was
just done last year in 2022,
was a weather balloon
based radar scan
conducted by Jeremiah Pate
and representatives from his
company called Lunasonde.
Incredibly, both
companies identified
a possible underground tunnel
between the triangle
and the mesa.
And now the crazy
GPS data from yesterday
shows that the rockets
diverted from their actual paths
and landed right
in that same area.
ERIK: So I've taken
the Lunasonde data
that we got with Jeremiah
Pate and his team last year
and I've added that
to the rocket launches
that we did out at
the triangle together
with the magnetic data
that we got back in 2020.
- TRAVIS: Okay.
- ERIK: There's the Juniper data.
This is the Lunasonde data
and there's the rocket launches.
THOMAS: Oh, wow.
BRYANT: It's interesting to
see how they do line up though.
It's especially
interesting to me
that the location where
the Lunasonde data
lines up with the Juniper
magnetometry data
has been described to us
as a possible tunnel structure.
We've long heard about
the tunnel system here
on the ranch, which we've
never found real evidence for,
and now hearing
those terms all used
in one data set... you know,
conductive, metallic, tunnels...
I think that we need to
go investigate further.
Yeah.
I've heard all kinds
of crazy stories
about this mesa.
Spacecraft going in it,
tunnels, caverns,
underground bases.
It really makes me wonder what's
going on below the surface here.
ERIK: In that general vicinity,
we've got something
going on under the ground.
I... I-I agree and I think
from the rocket
launches that we've seen,
this whole thing makes no sense.
Wow, all right.
Well, this is amazing, Erik.
ERIK: I have
something else to share.
- There's more?
- ERIK: There's more.
Wait till you see
what else I've got.
You-you guys probably
remember we were, uh,
- you know, taking high-speed.
- Okay.
Well, let me bring up the,
uh, the camera footage.
So, this is a single camera
looking up this launch tower.
You know, this is
the post process
where we have that embossed
effect and so here you see
just immediately after
the first rocket launch.
You can see there is something
that shows up
that... it's not a rocket.
TRAVIS: What is it
that we're looking at
that's kind of coming
out at that thing?
I don't know... I don't
know what that is.
I just don't even know... I
just can't decide if it's a...
BRYANT: That's not the rocket.
TRAVIS: What the crap?
- BRYANT: That's not the rocket.
- TRAVIS: What the crap?
What is that we're
looking at that's
kind of coming
out of that thing?
ERIK: Yeah, you're
talking about these lobes
- on either side.
- Yeah, what the crap is that?
ERIK: So we've got this,
I'll call it a cylindrical center.
- Mm-hmm.
- ERIK: It's a line.
And then we have these
two lobes on either side.
TRAVIS: I don't
know what that is.
The UAP that Erik noticed in
the high-speed camera video
from our rocket
experiment at the triangle
two days ago was amazing.
It didn't just appear like some
of the orbs that we've seen.
But it had distinct features
like it could actually be
some kind of an aircraft.
Is it possible it
could be an insect
and those are the
wings moving back and...
Always the first question
that comes to mind, you know?
We-we usually see some
kind of undulating feature
on either side of the body.
I got to look closer.
I just can't tell.
Would you like... Uh, you
know what, I can dive in, Travis.
Oh, yeah. Do that.
ERIK: I'll take us
back out to the original.
So watch as this evolves.
Okay, so I'm gonna
go forward one frame.
Okay.
- TRAVIS: Go forward again.
- ERIK: Mm-hmm.
TRAVIS: Go one more.
ERIK: Whatever this
additional feature is
on the side of the
main body of this thing,
it goes from, uh, what would be
the aft portion of it
to the fore portion of it.
Yeah, at least that's
what it looks like to me.
TRAVIS: It looks like wings.
I mean, not like bird wings
or insect wings, it
looks like airplane wings.
- Folding down.
- Mm-hmm, interesting.
TRAVIS: One more
time, go one more frame.
So look at the top.
It's shinier than...
- ERIK: You're speaking of this part here?
- Yeah, whatever that is.
- ERIK: Okay.
- It seems to be shinier
than the rest of it.
It has a very
defined, rigid edge.
KALEB: That seems like
it stays very consistent.
ERIK: Yeah. So,
it's got definition.
And I don't know
that I've ever seen anything
exactly like this before.
Now wait till you
see what else I've got.
This is in that same time frame,
within a few minutes.
You see it over here?
TRAVIS: Look at that.
Oh, that's crazy, man.
- ERIK: And then we'll dive in here.
- TRAVIS: All right.
Well, I'll tell you,
my brain's telling me
it's the same object
as the previous one or
the same type of object.
ERIK: Same class of object.
Well, let me move
to the next one.
So, here we have
a third instance of...
BRYANT: It looks
similar to the same thing.
TRAVIS: I think it's the same
thing. I don't know what it is
but it looks like
it's the same thing.
So we have three, uh, videos
of the same category of objects
right after the first launch,
but I don't think there's
any decision we can
make on it right now.
- Yeah.
- ERIK: Obviously,
the data is the other
important half of this exercise.
And we got these really mangled
GPS results and it correlates
with Lunasonde radar data
which, according to
the-the Juniper data,
were on top of a
magnetic anomaly.
So, what do you guys
think about getting
Jan Francke to come
back out, you know,
with his
ground-penetrating radar?
THOMAS: Well,
it's-it's a starting point.
Yeah.
Could Erik be right
that the answers to all the UAPs
and other phenomena
we've recorded between
the triangle and the mesa
and the east field might
actually be underground?
Is there a connection
between the ring-like anomaly
we've detected on lidar
and the possible tunnel
that was identified by
Lunasonde last year?
What I want to do this
time when he's with us
is to actually do a
grid-like, you know, uh, uh,
like a push broom
pattern on the ground
with that instrument.
And see if we don't, uh, get
some returns that correlate
with what we see in the
Lunasonde and the Juniper data.
- BRYANT: That's a great idea.
- I agree.
ERIK: Okay, well, you know,
this has been a great review.
I appreciate you guys
sitting at the table with me.
- THOMAS: Thanks, guys.
- ERIK: Thank you so much.
TRAVIS: The next day,
while we were awaiting
the arrival of GPR
expert Jan Francke...
I say we, uh, figure
out what goes in here.
Erik wanted us to follow
up on the unbelievable
findings of biologist
Ben Woodruff,
who believes something
with the jaw structure
of the extinct dire wolf k*lled
one of the cows on the ranch.
- Okay. Just set it down for a sec.
- All right.
Where's that dry bag?
So, we decided to
conduct an investigation
in the river that runs
along the south field
called Dry Gulch Creek.
THOMAS: Okay, so,
we've got the GPS tracker.
We should probably
check in with Erik
and see if he's
picking it up still.
- Yeah. Let him know we're here.
- Yeah.
Hey, Erik, do you have a copy?
ERIK: Yeah, Thomas, go ahead.
We've arrived over
here on the western side
of the ranch and
we're just preparing
the equipment and getting
ready to go in the river.
Can you, uh, see the tracker?
Copy that, I'm watching.
Okay, we're gonna
get in the river.
Okay.
Let's go.
Let's do it.
TRAVIS: Back in the 1990s,
the Sherman family
actually claimed
that they had followed
a dire wolf out here
after it attacked
one of their cattle,
but then reported
that its tracks just
disappeared right at this creek.
Let's just put it right here.
TRAVIS: Yup.
THOMAS: All right.
Okay. I think we're ready.
TRAVIS: Since the
water is very shallow,
we're going to wade
down the river with a kayak
that we've equipped
with GPS devices
as well as energy
and radiation detectors.
Erik, this is Thomas.
You got a copy?
Yeah, go ahead, Thomas.
THOMAS: Got all the equipment
strapped down and ready to go,
and we're entering
the river now.
Well, that is really
interesting because
that is not what
I'm looking at here
According to the GPS,
you're at 5,000
feet underground.
You mean to tell me right now
we're about 5,000 feet
lower than what we are?
I've never seen this before.
- Did you guys hear that?
- BRYANT: Yeah.
Right now, Erik's GPS tracker
is telling us we're
- where we're at.
- TRAVIS: Really?
THOMAS: Yeah.
TRAVIS: That's crazy, man.
THOMAS: Right now,
Erik's GPS tracker
is telling us we're 5,000
feet below where we're at.
TRAVIS: That's crazy, man.
Well, let us know when
we portal back to reality.
Copy that, Thomas.
ERIK: I watched the
real-time GPS tracking data
as reporting its position
going underground.
This isn't the first and
won't be the last time
we're asking
ourselves the question:
why is it that something
that works perfectly fine
in one scenario
suddenly doesn't
work at all in another?
KALEB: Could the water
be somehow affecting that?
TRAVIS: Uh, it shouldn't,
it's above the water.
THOMAS: That's interesting.
TRAVIS: That's crazy, man.
THOMAS: Right off the bat,
Erik tells us that
the GPS tracker
that we have has suddenly
gone 5,000 feet below us.
I don't know what's going on,
but we haven't even walked,
you know, ten
feet down this river,
we're already starting to
see interesting phenomena.
TRAVIS: Let's get
this thing in the water.
BRYANT: Okay, let's roll.
TRAVIS: Yep. Here we go.
THOMAS: We've
never explored the river.
Even Bigelow's people
claim that they had
never been down around it.
We're looking at a
large section of the ranch
located on the south side
where we've seen so much
strange activity in the past,
and it makes me
wonder, you know,
what is in store for us?
TRAVIS: Dude, it is
thick right here, though.
If we lost a rocket in
here, you wouldn't get it.
-BRYANT: Man, this is not
-TRAVIS: We've been walking
- easy walking.
- For a while. Yeah.
That's a lot of walking. It's...
We haven't gone
very far linearly
- because the river's just winding, right?
- KALEB: Yep.
Well, I can tell you,
we haven't had anything
on the gamma rays at all.
Yeah, the TriField meter
has been at zeros
the entire time, too.
TRAVIS: We almost never
see that with that thing.
BRYANT: Was this-was
this TriField meter's
battery full when we started?
- Yeah, yeah. We checked it before we left.
- BRYANT: Because it's almost...
- it's almost dead.
- Really?
- BRYANT: Yeah.
- TRAVIS: Well, that's interesting.
Maybe something's
drained the battery.
We often see batteries on
our equipment suddenly drain
just before and even during
strange events
like UAP sightings
and mysterious
signal detections.
So, we were all wondering
if our TriField meter,
which detects energy
spikes, was malfunctioning
because something much
crazier was about to happen.
Ugh. Let's go.
THOMAS: Look at
this tree right here.
Has that been...
I mean, it almost looks...
charred.
TRAVIS: Hey, Dragon, if you can,
cut-cut us off a sample of that.
Okay.
THOMAS: Yeah, why is this black
- and this one is just...
- TRAVIS: Take a picture of that,
too, if you don't mind.
It's not far from that
burnt post either, right?
THOMAS: Where the thing
burned through it, right?
TRAVIS: The river is
not real far from that at all.
BRYANT: Last year,
we found that
mysterious burned post
in the south field.
And it just so
happens that we saw
this purple light
that seemed to fly off
into that area...
a strange silver orb that
shows up on our game cameras.
TRAVIS: Yeah, that way
we can see the rings on it.
BRYANT: And now we're seeing
some of the
vegetation in the river
that looked as though there
was a strange burn property,
it makes me wonder
if these instances...
Are they related somehow?
Oh, look. You got a good piece.
Fantastic.
THOMAS: We got
some great samples.
TRAVIS: Now, is this natural
or is this a beaver dam?
- THOMAS: Beaver.
- KALEB: It's a beaver dam.
- BRYANT: Whoa, what is that?
- TRAVIS: What is it?
BRYANT: Right there.
THOMAS: What is that?
KALEB: Hard to tell.
TRAVIS: We're about
to find out what it is.
BRYANT: Ew. God.
THOMAS: What is that?
TRAVIS: We're about
to find out what it is.
THOMAS: Look at those fangs.
BRYANT: Ew. God.
TRAVIS: We've got a
dead animal right here.
BRYANT: I wonder what that is?
Just a few hundred
feet down the river
from where I found this
burnt tree, we came across
some sort of animal here
in late stages of decay.
As soon as we lifted
its head out of the water,
we saw massive canine teeth,
so we knew it was a
canine of some type,
but these teeth are pretty big.
It doesn't look like a
coyote or a dog to me,
so what is dead
here in the water?
TRAVIS: Think
you can hold it up?
All right, let's
get it in the bag.
BRYANT: We're still gonna
try and get a sample of it
and give it to Ben the biologist
that's been working
with us on the ranch.
[grunts]
- THOMAS: Ooh, I got a whiff of that.
- TRAVIS: Yeah, it stinks.
BRYANT: Good God.
TRAVIS: That decayed carcass
that we found in
the south field creek
was really disgusting,
but it was also
one of the strangest things
we'd ever seen on
Skinwalker Ranch.
The body wasn't very big,
but the teeth were huge.
TRAVIS: Whoa, those
teeth are sharp, dude.
Gah! I touched it.
I didn't know
what to make of it,
but no matter how
bad that thing stunk,
we had to get a
piece of that jaw
so Ben Woodruff could
analyze it to figure out
what kind of animal
it actually was.
THOMAS: Oh, man that stinks.
TRAVIS: Well, let's load
up and get out of here.
Yep, sun's getting lower.
- Get away from that smell, too.
- TRAVIS: Yeah, right?
THOMAS: We're seeing
interesting things with our equipment
along with this burned tree
and a dead animal in the water,
so it makes me wonder
is this spot dangerous?
I don't know. It's hard to say,
but these are
definitely all things
that warrant more investigation.
THOMAS: Hey, Erik,
do you copy?
ERIK: Yeah, Thomas. Go ahead.
THOMAS: Uh, we've reached
our destination point on the river.
Just came upon a
really large, dead animal.
We've got some, uh,
maggots along with its jawbone.
So, uh, we've got quite
a few samples to bring in
and we're excited to come
back to command center
- and compare notes.
- ERIK: That's fantastic.
I'd call that a success,
guys. Way to go.
I'll see you when you get back.
- THOMAS: All right.
- TRAVIS: Well, I think it was,
uh, very informative.
We found a zone on
this river where there was
absolutely no
electromagnetic information.
And right after that,
we found a dead animal.
Yeah, so there's a dead
zone back there in the river.
So, that's something
we need to really
think about and look into.
BRYANT: All right, let's
get the heck out of here.
TRAVIS: Yeah.
ERIK: I don't think
any of us is content to
marvel at anomalous results.
I know that we are all
very hungry for answers.
Could this creek
be the point of origin
of some phenomenon
yet to be explained
that may have something to do
with the carcasses
of dead animals
that we're seeing on the ranch?
I'm especially interested
in getting the answer
to that question.
BRANDON: The disturbing reality
surrounding animal
deaths at Skinwalker Ranch
is something that
has left us baffled.
Is there something unique about
the nature of these areas,
these previously unexplored
regions of the ranch?
As the investigation continues,
we hope to get more answers.
TRAVIS: There are so many
crazy stories from the past
about things like portals,
underground tunnels
and even extinct animals
supposedly existing
on Skinwalker Ranch.
And just this week,
we found evidence that suggests
these things could be based
in reality and are true.
I don't know
what to make of that,
but I'm more determined than
ever to keep working with
this team to figure it out.
