King of UFOs, The (2024)

Post by bunniefuu »

- Hello, my name is Howard Hughes

and you are watching The King of UFOs.

We hope you enjoy this

royal rollercoaster ride

of paranormal and

extra terrestrial delights,

and hopefully, by the end of it,

we'll both have learned something.

- I mean, yeah, there'll be the speculation

that UFO, let's say has

landed in Buckingham Palace

and all the rest of it.

- He would've to be an ambassador.

It would change our whole

perspective on life, wouldn't it?

I'd like to think that the

king would be the man

to meet them because

he's head of our state.

- So, just to recap.

So Charles is one of three pilots,

and you said it had a

glass dome. Is that right?

- Yeah, what I saw, like

what I saw when it was flying,

it looked like a regular helicopter

when I looked at it during the day.

But then when I saw

it at night, it was odd.

There were dome-like projections

around each of the pilots.

- The British Royal

family has always managed

to capture the public's curiosity.

While their lives and duties

are often shrouded in secrecy,

an intriguing aspect emerges.

Their interest in UFOs and the paranormal.

Join us now on this riveting journey

as we explore the British

Royal family's unique fascination

with the unknown.

- Okay.

Okay. Welcome Richard.

Thank you for joining us.

- My pleasure.

- I'm just really interested

to get your thoughts on

the British Royal Family

and the history of the paranormal.

Have the royal family showed an interest?

- Oh gosh. Yeah. Well,

you see, the thing is

that obviously most of

the, all of their properties,

I would say are old, ancient.

I mean to quote Longfellow,

"All houses where in men have lived

and died are haunted houses."

So they've got buildings

that have got history beyond anything.

All of their properties, well

have got ghosts in them.

It's as simple as that.

And they know it.

And yeah, they're into it.

I mean, 'cause they've witnessed it.

They've seen things,

heard things, sensed things.

The late queen, of course, I

mean she saw her namesake,

Queen Elizabeth in the

library of Windsor Castle.

The king.

He's seen the same ghost, Queen Elizabeth.

His grandfather, George the sixth

saw Queen Elizabeth the

first eight times in the library

before the start of the second World w*r.

They live with their

ghosts, 'cause people do.

You see most people

aren't frightened of ghosts

when they're in their houses,

because they just accept them.

- There's a rich history,

'cause British history,

it's ancient I guess.

And the royal family goes

back hundreds of years.

And there's a lot of legends

and ghosts in these places

like Windsor Castle, Sandringham, Balmoral

sightings of everyone

from Henry the eighth,

King Charles the first,

King Charles the second,

Amber Lynn, Queen Elizabeth

the first at Hatfield House.

We've got so many royal ghosts

and it's part of the British

mythology, the culture.

It's part of what makes us

British I think, the folklore.

Where it's mainly the Victorian times when

the paranormal became prevalent

in the form of seances and spiritualism.

There was a lot of kind of

spiritualist leaders, gurus

around at the time

that were promoting this,

talking with the afterlife basically.

Making contact with

deceased relatives, et cetera,

which is what Queen Victoria was doing

when she was interested in seances.

She wanted to contact

her recently departed

husband, Prince Albert.

And so there was this big

fashion, I guess at the time

for all things paranormal spiritual.

We had the likes of famous

author like Conan Doyle,

who wrote the Sherlock Holmes books.

He was promoting it as well.

He was taking it from

a scientific point of view

that there was something there.

- Historically the royal family have been

generally quite interested

in the paranormal,

going back to Queen

Victoria and having seances.

But for it to be kind of public knowledge

that a member of the royal family did that.

- I just wanted to get your thoughts

on the British Royal Family's

interest in the paranormal.

- Well, I think it goes back many years.

I'm gonna go back to the 1950s,

because I know a little bit about

that few contact I made

a couple of years ago

through Psychic News Magazine.

In 1950s there's a famous trance medium

called Lillian Bailey.

And she visited Lionel Logue,

who was King George

the sixth speech therapist.

And she received messages,

which were then passed on to the then king.

After George's death,

Lillian received a request

to give a private seance

at a house in Kensington,

which I think was in 1953

as far as I can remember.

She was blindfolded

and taken by a limousine to this residence.

And as usual, she went in the trance

and allowed her spirit

guide to come through,

was a guy called Bill Watson.

At the end of the seance,

the blindfold was obviously taken off.

And she found, to her surprise,

that sitting there was the

queen mother, the queen,

Prince Philip, Princess

Margaret, Princess Alexandria

and the Duke of Kent all

sitting in the seance circle.

But I do know there's a long association

with various royal families

and spiritualism, and the paranormal.

That's a long running strand through most

of the royal family, even to

this day with Prince Charles.

But I think a lot of it's kept very secret.

- And what about

William, the next generation?

- He's had his own kind

of paranormal experiences

in his house in the Sandringham.

We know his mother was

interested in the paranormal.

And interestingly, so the house

that he's in in Sandringham

is supposed to be

haunted by a Catholic priest.

And his comment about

it was, "I'm not bothered."

- As we enter the modern era,

the British Royal Family's interest in UFOs

and the paranormal continues

to captivate conspiracy theorists

and people who are

fascinated by the unknown.

- Prince Albert was

probably the first member

of the royal family as

Queen Victoria's consort

and husband that had a UFO experience

before there were UFOs

as in modern folklore.

I think it was 1875 or 1876,

he wrote a entry in his journal saying

that he saw strange

dazzling lights in the sky

like orbs flying past and

he couldn't describe them.

We would probably describe it

now in modern terms as a UFO.

At the time that word didn't exist.

So we're just kind of putting

a modern interpretation on it now.

It wasn't explained.

It was powerful enough for him

to make an entry in his journal.

So there's definitely

something to it there.

So that was the basis of

modern royal ufology I guess.

And that kind of led on to the next person,

which was Lord Mountbatten,

who was uncle to Prince Philip.

And Mountbatten had this passion for UFOs.

And his biographer, Philip Ziegler mentions

that he had this fantastic passion.

He thought that UFOs

were from Jupiter or Venus,

and he elaborated on the fact

that he thought they were living craft.

They thought there was

definitely a non-physical element

to these UFOs, which is,

this is back in the 1940s, 50s,

which is quite radical at the time.

But now we got recent whistleblowers

in the US Navy, David

Grusch has come forward,

and he said there's

this non-physical

paranormal element to UFOs.

So there is definitely something there.

- The royal family has been

interested in UFOs for decades,

but this was always a

matter of extreme sensitivity

because in some ways it was counter

to the government's

public position on this,

or if not directly counter

to it, certainly difficult

to gel with it.

And what I mean by that is

that the Ministry of Defense,

which is the lead department

for UAP in the UK government,

their public line was

always that UFOs were of

no defense significance or

limited defense significance.

And so to have a situation

where the royal family

were almost arguably denying that line

by taking it seriously, was

awkward to say the least.

Prince Philip was very

much at the forefront

of royal interest in this, though

arguably he was introduced

to the subject by Earl

Mountbatten, his uncle.

- This is a fabulous resource,

the great British UFO Learning Center.

Invaluable documents

going way back to the 50s.

And I see there's lots of pictures

of Prince Philip, Lord Mountbatten.

So there seems to be a real interest

from the royal family in UFOs.

Does that start with Lord

Louis Mountbatten you think?

- Well, it did for me

because I met Lord Louis

Mountbatten back in the 70s.

My ex father-in-law, chief

Petty Officer, Ted West,

was aboard HMS Kelly,

which was actually sunk in 1941.

And his skipper was Lord Louis Mountbatten.

For many years they had a reunion,

and I do know that my

ex father-in-law went there.

So I'm proud of my association

with Ted and HMS Kelly.

You are obviously aware

that there was the incident

at Lord Louis Mountbatten's house

when something called

Briggs witness to UFO there.

- At Mountbatten of

course, famously in the 50s,

had actually had a report of a UFO landing

at his estate Broadlands.

And he had personally investigated this

and was impressed by

the credibility of the witness

who was one of his own

employees, of course.

So, he was someone known to Mountbatten.

- So Mountbatten had this passion,

but then he also was lucky enough

to have a UFO land on

his estate in Hampshire.

And I'd say Mountbatten

wasn't present at this landing,

but his bricklayer and

laborer, Fred Briggs,

witnessed this UFO land at Broadlands.

A ladder, took a long ladder, came down,

and an occupant came out

and knocks Fred Briggs

off his bike apparently.

And this is only recently released

when Mountbatten archives,

we had access to them,

and we found this report in there.

And actually Mountbatten

had written a testimony

about it, swearing to the honesty

and credibility of Fred Briggs,

who says, I have no doubt,

no reason to disbelief

if what he said was true.

So that a fascinating encounter

by a member of the royal family.

And Mountbatten, you have to realize was

a big influence on Prince Philip.

- And through Mountbatten's interest.

Yes, Prince Philip, the Duke

of Edinburgh became involved.

And this was of course,

particularly awkward

because as the spouse

of the reigning monarch at the time,

and somebody who was perhaps unfairly,

but however you view this,

was at the center of a

number of, so-called Gaffs.

This was a potential scandal.

But he handled his interest,

I think, very carefully and intelligently.

He was always careful to put a little bit

of clear blue water

between this subject and him.

So for example, when he looked into this,

he did so using one of his royal equerries,

as an intermediary, and

that was Sir Peter Horsley.

- Even his equerry had a

meeting with, in a Chelsea flat,

with some person or entity called Janus.

Okay. And this Janus said,

basically said he was an

extra terrestrial here to save us.

We were basically destroying the earth.

And he wanted to speak to

Prince Philip, arrange of meetings

so that they could discuss these issues.

The thing is, what we think

now is possibly Janus might not

been an extraterrestrial,

it might have just been a Russian spy.

Say the meeting never

happened, it could have happened.

It's a very, very strange encounter.

And it's all documented

in Sir Peter Horsley's autobiography.

- And so when the Duke of

Edinburgh said, for example,

oh, I want to hear about this

Georgia Adamski character.

He was advised by his royal equerry,

look, don't meet him personally.

This will leak and it will

cause quite a scandal.

So do it through the intermediary.

And that's what happened.

And so Peter Horsley went out

and interviewed UFO witnesses

and with them, often with questions,

which had been put

directly by Prince Philip,

but he had a large collection of UFO books.

He subscribed to Flying Sourcer Review

and a number of other publications.

All this, again, was done very carefully so

that you didn't take out a subscription

and say, please send to Buckingham Palace.

So a series of cutouts

were used, not dissimilar

to the way in which, when

I was on the UFO program,

we subscribed to various UFO magazines

and we used a post office box.

- Prince Philip had this

passion, had this knowledge.

Maybe it was a bit

politically embarrassing,

which is why it kind of

kept it a little bit secret.

And you have to realize

Prince Philip's archives are not

gonna be open now for another 90 years.

So we're not gonna

know really the truth about,

what he actually believed.

- And I'd be interested to know,

of course, what's happened

to his collection and what we don't know.

Perhaps one of the big unanswered questions

is to what extent King Charles the third,

has inherited any of the documents,

the files, the books, the magazines,

and most of all, perhaps the interest.

- Flipping the thing on its

head about the royal family.

It might not be that their interest

in the paranormal is based

on just a normal interest.

Maybe it's based on knowledge.

So their interest is based

on factual knowledge

that they've been able to

get access to that we don't.

Maybe they're interested

because it's they know more about it

and they want to find out more.

- They know the truth.

We seem to have this stream

coming down from the royals,

from Lord Mountbatten,

then to Prince Philip.

Do you think this has now been passed on

to King Charles, this interest?

- Well, I would imagine so.

You yourself have just

looked on the computer there,

a newspaper cutting out.

Was that, what about '74 or something?

But the newspaper printed an article about

a meeting at the Palace

to discuss all manner of things.

Yuri Geller went there I

think according to that.

Why not?

- We know that Prince

Charles is so interested

to the fact that he's attended

like UFO conferences 2008, 2009.

He even spoke at a UFO conference in 2009.

- I suppose the problem

is, if you can look at UFOs,

you can look at the paranormal

and you can adopt a

jocular attitude towards them.

As indeed quite a lot

of UFO enthusiasts

have done over the years.

That's fine.

But when you tip over the

border or you tip over the line

and you think, my god,

these things are dangerous,

these things we know very little about.

- We're all interested in UFOs,

but to go and speak,

especially as someone so high profile,

you've got a lot to lose, haven't you?

You're gonna make yourself potentially

look a bit kind of idiotic or, yeah.

So why would you do that

unless you were convinced that

there was something happening?

- Yeah, there's this fascinating story

that Prince Charles flew a

prototype UFO in Canada in 1976,

and I have to say it probably

wasn't extra terrestrial,

it was based on an avro carb,

so it was a sauser-shaped craft,

with dual rotor blades.

But the funny thing is, it

had some strange magnetic

propulsion system, which

was unknown, still is unknown,

but it was observed by Dan Costello,

which gives a description

that it emitted a blue ionic flame,

and it was controlled magnetically

by a larger craft behind it.

So it's all very bizarre,

but it just points to the fact that

maybe UFOs are not

necessarily extraterrestrial,

and maybe it is some exotic

as yet unknown technology

that either the US government's developing

or Chinese, Russians, who knows?

But it could be something more earthly,

but something that's not

been released to the public.

So I think that's an interesting angle.

- Next, our story

definitely goes all the way

to 11 on the weird scale.

It involves Prince Charles allegedly flying

a prototype UFO in Nova

Scotia, Canada in 1975.

Canadian diver Dan

Costello claims to have worked

with Prince Charles on a top

secret project called Cervico

at a location known as Sandy Point.

- Yours is a fascinating story.

Could you just give us some

on Sandy Point, Nova Scotia

and what you were doing there really?

- Sandy Point's a very small village now,

but during World w*r I, world w*r II,

these were some of the

largest industrial naval yards

that we had on the east coast of Canada.

The Royals had a lot of interest there.

There through the 20s,

they were fabricating these depots

around and about in unofficial ways.

Churchill had been

one of the first sea lords

to involve himself in this,

as well as Prince Louis Mountbatten.

So this is the previous generation

of the Battens that I knew.

- Right.

- My front yard, I met Max Mountbatten

who was King Charles' first cousin

and Max Mountbatten wife.

Some of the projects

that Lord Louis Mountbatten had overseen

as Black ops when he first

took over the Royal Marines

and Commandos in '41.

There were sites there

that were still under the

auspices of Mountbatten.

He was still coming and going until '79.

I knew him fairly well.

I knew them all on the first-name basis.

My parents weren't able allowed to know

what I was doing with this project.

The neighbor was a Sapper

who had worked on illustrious

with Mountbatten back in World w*r II.

He was overseeing my role

and sort of intervening

between my parents' authority

and the royal's desire for

these projects to go ahead,

because there was a couple

of the hatches that needed

to be penetrated that were too small

for anybody else's hands.

And they had a bunch of the Germans,

they had child divers among them as well.

- Let's just recap.

You were being recruited, was it...

- Being recruited.

- By the British Navy was it or through?

- Well, it was the

combination of the group.

Okay. When I was sitting

down, it was Royal Navy,

their engineers in the room.

They're the ones that are training me.

And then who else is in the

room is Max Mountbatten.

Then who else is in

the room is Prince Philip.

And who else is in the room?

King Olaf of Norway,

as well as Prince Harold,

who's now the king of Norway and so on.

There'll be a half a dozen

other royals were sitting there

around me as they're devising this contract

that I'm signing with my thumb.

- So they wanted to

recruit you as a child diver

to help them on what were you doing?

- What they described

this to be as royal salvage,

and what it was, was treasures

and armaments that had been stocked up

from the seven years in Napoleonic times,

all the way up to what was

left over after World w*r II.

A lot of the projects did

have a security dimension to it.

The risk was real related to the sharks

and also related to the

electrical turbine risks.

- Sure.

- Part of it was me helping save the lives

of my family and my

community and the royals,

but also a part of it was the reward base

that they were dangling a carrot

in front of me at all times.

- And let's just forward onto.

Prince Charles's involvement in this area.

What happened there?

- Well, I mean, Prince Charles,

he was pretty personable

when I first knew him.

I knew, like, I met him

and Princess Ann just

down the same street of my,

where I was living, because

they were putting together,

it was an antique steam turbine

that had been built on

the site by Howden Humes,

and I think it was a

Howden Zowelli turbine.

- So I guess you mentioned in an email

that you had some information

regarding Prince Charles

and a prototype UFO.

Can you just explain to us?

- The structurals that

I was seeing regarding

the prototype helicopter,

whatever it was, UAP.

Like I say, it might've had

sort of a flattener-like tail

or a bit of a command kind of

pinch along one end to design,

show where the end of it was.

I don't remember seeing

like a tail rotor at all.

It looked like a helicopter

when looking up at it,

but it was silent.

There was no sound coming out of the thing.

And I'd seen Charles come and go there

with like commercial rotary

craft regular helicopters.

So like, I already knew

helicopters make a specific sound.

I just thought that was quite odd.

That was kind of scary to me. I ran away.

I didn't know that that

was the actual craft.

They headed out and around

that sunset that afternoon.

- And you say Charles is

one of three pilots, is that right?

- Yeah, they were short of

engineers and I think Charles

and his engineering crew had been back

and forth for some missions

to those sections already.

They knew the circumstances

and the events, the risks,

and they had the training,

and they were familiar with the craft.

What I saw when it was flying,

it looked like a regular hawk helicopter

when I looked at it during the day.

But then when I saw

it at night, it was odd.

There were dome-like projections

around each of the pilots.

And as I'd recalled there

was an armored body suit

that may have been an anti

electrical protection device

for the pilots.

And I helped test this as a diver,

and I didn't know that's what I was doing.

I thought I was testing

it for my own safety.

We needed it.

But they also needed this.

- You said it was silence

and you said there's some sort

of strange electric electromagnetic.

- Yeah, I didn't notice this

when I saw it during the day,

but when I saw it coming up

and around the house, I didn't distinguish

that it had this until that night.

And I'm looking at it and there's like,

there was a hole in the bottom

of the structure of the craft.

There was something projecting

outta there that was blue

and it was turning the

surfaces where it was interacting

with the surface along that section

into molten blue elements of the soil.

Like it looked like it was

turning things into glass.

And liquefying things sort of in my view,

it was sort of shocking obviously.

The sound that was

coming from that was sort

of like a crackling,

humming, crackling roaring,

and then it would gust its

way around the clearing.

And it was clearing the

path for the larger flight craft

that was coming behind it.

I didn't realize that there was,

that's what they were doing at the time.

- Sure.

- It was turning the

fabric of the forest along

the semifore line into dust.

And without flame, turning the branches

of the trees into black carbon falling

onto the surface.

I never saw anything

like it before or since.

And then the next day there

were a bunch of bulldozers

that came down to cover it all up.

- Do you think

the technology US pilots

are seeing now

in the skies could be linked

to what Charles was flying?

- Well, this is what I believe

because like I never saw

anything like that before since.

It didn't make sense to me looking at it.

It didn't make sense that it was flying

because there were periods

where the dual rotors were

stopping mid-flight and the

thing is hanging in the air.

And then the blue flame

is coming out at that time.

There was a ferocious fire

that took place under the

road beds directly up towards

my house that night that

fried out a bunch of probably,

I'm assuming 1920s inter power cables

that had been attaching some

of these turbines probably from the 1900s.

- Okay. So just going back to this craft

with the ground effects.

What was it? What was powering it?

- I'm assuming that it's

something pretty radically similar

to a Tesla turbine.

- So it's basically, you're

saying that Sandy Point

where you were, where

you worked as a child diver,

this has been some sort of secret location

that the British Navy government used.

You were saying that

Churchill was gonna use it

as a fallback if Hitler was successful.

I mean, I just wanna say

this story sounds incredible.

What proof do you have?

- I mean, if you come

under Sandy Point road

at Ven-Rez, you'll find some

of the concrete caissons

would still be there

or the road bed wouldn't be there.

These sections were designed, some of them,

the size of aircraft carrier cargo holds

and they went along the road beds.

Some of them were rail

line fitted and they fitted,

at 1980, they shut the rail line out.

But that would all still be down there.

Those sections have

checked to some of the locals

who still live in the area.

They tell me a lot of those

tunnels are still down there.

They could have evolved,

a plasma turbine technology

that no one else did.

It could have been

something from Tesla's day.

- Thanks, Dan. I mean, I

guess the last question we've got

for you is why should we

believe you are fantastical story?

- The Royals themselves

know it's true they were there.

King Charles knows it.

Princess Anne knows it.

Queen Margaret knows

it. King Harold knows it.

King Carl Gustav was there back

and forth before he got married.

I just happened to be

in that particular location

by God's will.

- We'll now look

at the continuing interest

of Prince Philip and Queen

Elizabeth the second in UFOs

and other paranormal

phenomena in the 1980s and 1990s.

We look at their interest in

the Rendlesham Forest UFO

incident, which has been

called the British Roswell,

and also their correspondence

with various UFO authors

and claims that they had

their own royal UFO and paranormal library.

- It's an interesting, the correlation

between Prince Albert's

sighting of orbs in the sky

and what happened at Rendlesham Forest

in 1980 in Suffolk, it

was a RAF Bentwaters.

It was a joints US RAF base

that was housing nuclear

weapons at the time.

And these strange lights

appeared over the Christmas of 1980

and allegedly a craft landed

and admitted some strange messages

to the people that observed it.

So it's a fascinating

part of British ufology

and has been called, Britain's Roswell.

It's that big, big an impact.

And people go there now to Rendlesham

and they see strange orbs

like Albert saw in the sky.

- For me, the phenomenon exists

because so many sighting

reports from people,

from members of the public

who like us have no idea,

but felt that their reports,

their sightings should

be preserved for posterity,

which is what I'm trying to do.

But yeah, I mean,

and over the years, of

course, in front of you are

a number of letters from Prince Philip then

who was very interested in the UFO subject.

Who wrote to me thanking

me for the book he had.

So yeah, that's.

- So what books were

you sending Prince Philip?

- Well, the volume's one

to six, seven, eight, nine, 10

and 11, and probably the Holt book as well.

- Both the Queen and Prince Philip held

a passionate interest in Rendlesham.

John Hansen, an author,

ex-police officer, CID.

A very credible person.

He's written books on the

Rendlesham Forest incident

with Colonel Charles Holt.

Charles Holt was the

colonel that was in charge

of the base at the time

these sightings happened.

And Charles, Charles

Holt observed these lights

and documented on his dictaphone.

And they've written books about it.

These books were sent to the Queen

and Prince Philip, who wrote

back to John Hansen saying,

"We enjoyed your book. We've

add them to our collection."

So they've definitely got

an interest in Rendlesham.

Why?

Your correspondence

between, with Prince Philip

and the Queen regarding

the Holt perspective.

This was about the Rendlesham UFO incident.

Could you just give us a bit of info

about what Rendlesham was?

- Rendlesham, it's such...

As you've seen yourself,

we have vast files on Rendlesham,

but to put it, to put it

simply, it was a series

of UFO sightings, unexplained

that took place in Rendlesham Forest

at the end of December, 1980,

witnessed by a number of airmen.

I've interviewed nearly

all of 'em over the years,

but for me, it's what Colonel Holt saw,

who's a personal friend.

And he witnessed these

lights appearing over the forest.

We have the famous memo from Colonel Holt,

which was released some time after.

I remember speaking to somebody

in one of the national newspapers,

and he said, "The trouble is John,

we can't offer anything serious

because it would alarm people."

- That I think they are

open to the paranormal

and the fact that UFOs exist,

however, they have to be careful

because they are heads of

state, heads of the church.

So there's only so much

they can state publicly.

I'm sure there's a lot that

goes on behind closed doors

that we're never gonna know.

For instance, Prince Philip's own archives,

we're not gonna get access

to those for another 90 years.

What's in those?

The Lord Hill Norton report in the 70s

where the British

governments set this report up

to look into UFOs and the reality.

And Lord Hill Norton basically

gave this report to members

of the establishment head of

the MOD Army, et cetera, the church.

Prince Philip and basically stated

that UFOs were demonic in origin.

- And Lord Hill Norton

was increasingly getting

involved in this subject.

For example, asking

questions in parliament,

lobbying defense ministers to do more.

He fell under the influence

of a maverick priest called Paul Inglesby,

who very much did buy into this

idea that UFOs were demonic.

And that was a very

unfortunate turn of events

because I had briefed Lord Hill Norton,

and just as I was, I guess engaging

and helping to move things forward,

and we had Lord Hill Norton

as a powerful figure in all of this.

Along came Paul Inglesby

inserting his bizarre religious

views about demons and

UFOs into the conversation.

- They warn them for investigating further.

Don't investigate these things further.

They're demonic not to

be touched. Stay away.

And that was the message

that was sent to Prince Philip.

So has that been handed

down to Charles, William?

I don't know.

- Like the lads here want to ask,

and like probably King

Charles wants to ask is,

what are these things, where are they from?

Do they have an agenda?

Are they in fact

intelligent or not or what?

I just don't know.

There's so many different

explanations aren't there,

but nobody can prove them.

- Nick Pope talks about

element in the British

and US governments

of Evangelical Christians

who do take a biblical

interpretation of UFOs.

And the Bible, their interpretation

of the Bible is like, anything

that's paranormal is a demon.

And UFOs are seen as

demons, Satan's minions.

So stay away from them I guess.

I have to say that's not my view.

- I tried to, not to put

too finer point on it,

but undo some of that damage

and tried to ease Ingelsby

be out of the equation.

But it was quite difficult.

But yeah, it was a challenge.

- Sure, absolutely.

Do you think any of

those ideas rubbed off on

Prince Philip and then Charles?

- I hope not.

I certainly hope not,

but I can't rule it out.

Unfortunately I've not briefed

the king personally on this.

So I don't know.

- Winston Churchill himself

blocked UFO sightings

or blocked reports from pilots of things

they'd seen during the Second World w*r.

And he said that was

because he did not want

to create a problem for

religion that is documented.

Time after time, I have spoken to people

and they do regard this stuff as demonic.

But you see demonic that raises within you.

You can see the devil jumping

up and down and demons

and I think that's probably

not what it's all about.

What I can say is

that many cases involving UFOs

where members of the public

have been fairly close to them

or have been influenced by

the electromagnetic radiation

that's given off the

objects will change things,

will cause problems in

the house, malfunctions

with electrical and mechanical apparatus.

- I mean, the queen

sent scientific advisors

to like UFO sites.

Her and her husband really

interested in crop circles,

which kind of can link

into that UFO phenomena.

But the idea that she's

sending people to these sites,

again, you wouldn't do that

unless either you were deeply interested

or you knew that there

was something more to it.

You wouldn't send it on a whim, would you?

You've got lots of records

here about crop circles,

and I know the Queen and Prince Philip

both expressed an interest in crop circles.

And I've been corresponding

with Colin Andrews,

whom I think you know.

And Colin Andrews mentioned this story

where he was

with a Japanese film

crew in the 80s in Wilshire.

And the queen sent a Rolls Royce out

to look at these crop circles being formed.

And Colin is expecting the queen

to get out of the Rolls Royce.

It wasn't, it was a scientific officer.

There must be a link possibly

between crop circles and UFOs.

- Well undoubtedly,

particularly the early crop circles

were just, were circular burnt formations

in the grass or in the fields.

I think they just kind of them as UFO nests

back in the olden days.

You couldn't stand in the middle

of a crop circle, which

has been recently made.

And it's fresh as a feeling comes over you,

you can feel the energy.

That there are stories.

I've spoken to witnesses who've more

or less seen these things

appear, then gone over

and then ended up with

some quite terrifying experiences.

- When humans have

interacted with so-called aliens.

The aliens have always

been bringing this message

that we need to save you.

The planet's doomed

unless you change your way.

There's always been

that apocalyptic message

and maybe the aliens are here to help us.

So I guess maybe that's it.

I know Charles cares passionately about,

the environments and what

we're doing to the planet.

So maybe that links

in with, possible alien,

alien race saving us.

I wonder if there's a secret knowledge

that's been handed down

by generation of royals.

So I go back to King James

the first, Francis Bacon.

Barron of Verulam.

He was known as inventor

of the scientific method.

Also Secret Alchemist,

member of the Rosa Secretions.

Rosa Secretions were supposed

to have secret knowledge.

I wondered if any of

that's been passed down.

- Yeah, I mean it could well be.

It's almost like ingrained

in their DNA, isn't it?

And this knowledge,

especially like Lord Mountbatten's library

of books around UFOs,

paranormal, maybe there were,

other documents that,

again, we don't have access

to because we are not the perceived elite.

We're not, I don't like to

use the word Illuminati,

but there may be an Illuminati esque

kind of knowledge hub

that we don't have

access to, but they would.

- We can speculate that the royal family

have had access to

knowledge that we don't have.

For instance, the Queen has alleged

to have requested documents from

the Vatican Secret Archives.

The Vatican headquarters

of the Catholic church as

a well-known secret archive

where documents go back

thousands of years possibly,

detailing the origins of

Christianity and such like.

But also there's this allegations

that they're holding the truth

about the UFO phenomena.

- 53 miles of corridors

full of secret documents

and items including skulls

of extraterrestrials down in the cellars

of the Vatican and various other things.

In other words, they are into,

although they believe the

world to be 6,400 years old,

they are into aliens.

They've got an observatory in Arizona.

They have an observatory

at the Pope's Summer palace in Rome.

- The Vaticans always

had an interest in UFOs.

It's got his own Cardinal

and Monsignors appointed to deal

with first contact with extraterrestrials.

So it's always had an act of interest.

So maybe that's because they know more.

There is some speculation

that they were privy to

a UFO landing in Sicily

in the Second World w*r

and Mussolini recovered this.

So some say they actually may have a UFO.

- And of course the Vatican an orange

saucer shaped ship craft

has been seen on more

than one occasion

hovering over the Vatican.

There is even talk that

the pope is an alien.

I'm not sure about that one.

But they know more.

They know far more than we realize

about what's going on up there.

- So what was the Queen

doing requesting documents?

Was it relating to UFOs?

I mean it's speculation I guess,

but she was requesting access to something,

which leads me onto the fact that

maybe our own royal family

have got their own secret

archives at Windsor Castle.

There is millions

of documents there going

back hundreds of years.

Maybe there's some secret knowledge

in there about the paranormal and UFOs.

- Well, I believe that's it.

She's obviously a believer

as so many of us are,

'cause my take on this is are we really

so self-centered and bigoted as to believe

that we are the only planet

in the universe and beyond

and beyond infinity.

Of course there's life somewhere else.

And again, the royal family

being in credible people, believe it.

- Aliens have made

contact. What happens next?

Contact with an extraterrestrial

civilization has been made

and after that there is no turning back.

How will the world's leaders react?

And what will our own king do

to ease his people's worries and fears?

How will it impact the world's religions?

And what can the king do as

head of the Anglican Church

to reassure its followers?

Now is the time for him

to be the king of UFOs.

- We've made first contact

with extraterrestrials.

What will King Charles' role be

to ease the fears of the population

and going forward on a world basis?

What can, and what will he do?

- That's a very interesting

and an important question.

And I think you've touched on something

really fascinating here.

Because one of the things that's emerged

in the United States

in the current discussions

that are being had is how

apolitical this is,

which is as it should be.

This is not a partisan issue.

We actually have in the US

Republicans and Democrats alike.

And in these divided days,

it's quite refreshing to see this,

that it's being handled

on a non-partisan basis.

This question is very interesting

because this is exactly

where the monarch might serve

a very important function

in for example, an address

to the nation from the king

would, I think be something

that everyone would want to see.

- I would imagine there's

a security approach to things and all this.

And so of course the king would

never operate independently

when we'd like to think

that he just sort of that

and shook your hands

with the aliens or whatever.

But there would obviously

be massive amounts

of kind of protocol and

information and advisors

and all the rest of it leading to

what I would imagine would be

some kind of public

expression of something.

But there's no way on earth

that the king would just stand up

and make a speech at that point.

You'd imagine that actually

the whole thing would be

couched in quite serious discussions

and with various political bodies.

So, if what you are exploring

is ultimately ending up

with some kind of public expression

of what's happened, I guess

that's what you're asking

rather than the intricacies

of what might have taken place

in Buckingham Palace Gardens on that date.

But that's another question.

- Obviously there will be statements

from political leaders,

but to stress the

nonpartisan nature of this

and to bring people across the divide,

whatever their politics together

and address to the nation from the king

is, I think essential.

And much as we have the Christmas broadcast

or the King's speech,

say to parliament now,

we would have, I think

we would need an address

to the nation from King Charles.

And it would be, obviously it's,

there are so many

variables in the scenario,

it's very difficult to say for sure.

But you would hope that

this would be the mechanism

by which the establishment

would send out a message

of reassurance to people,

a message of hope, a message not to panic,

and any instructions

and requests that the government

feels it would be helpful to do.

Now the government, of course,

would probably draft this speech,

but ultimately I'm sure

someone like King Charles

would put his own stamp on this

and it's a very good way

to get a nonpolitical input.

- The king would presumably

make some kind of statement.

I mean, it's fascinating to imagine.

Would there be a live

interview with the alien?

I guess the question would

be what are they here for

and what's Charles gonna respond to?

Would Charles be responding to a national

or international crisis

of a security nightmare,

as in a w*r or something along those lines?

Or is he responding to

something that's anomalous

and we don't know and

we're hedging our bets?

Or is he gonna be responding to something

that has a more positive suggestion?

- I just hope they never land. I really do.

But I'm sure if they

did, I'd be be honored.

I'd be pleased that the king

would play a part in

this 'cause he should do.

- Clearly there are religious

and theological implications

to first contact, however that unfolds

and absolutely King

Charles' position as head

of the Anglican Church would

be important as would the fact

that the king has previously tried

to speak out about the importance

of a multi-faith approach in the modern UK.

So actually I think

his role would go wider

than just the Anglican Church.

And he would be one of a number

of leading figures worldwide,

whose words on the religious implications

would be important and

people would listen to,

not just Christians,

but right across the range of faiths.

And of course addressing those

who don't have any

faith and their atheists.

It's important that the

king speaks for everyone.

- William, I guess like his mother

possibly has an interest in

spirituality, the paranormal.

Will he take that on board

as his role as future king?

We're not aware of him

having any UFO experiences,

but we talked about him having a ghost

and his house in Sandringham, so who knows.

But whoever is king is gonna have

an important role to

play on the world stage

with disclosure being

imminent that we are not alone.

- Of course, King Charles,

there's no doubt he's into ghosts.

I know that for a fact.

I know he's seen the ghost

of Queen Elizabeth in

the library at Windsor.

Dumfries House, the

present queen refused to go

to that house while it was being renovated

because she said there was definitely

a ghost in that building.

And so, as regard, the king,

I would imagine that if he

knows more about aliens

and ghosts, then why

he, what I think he should

disclose to the nation what he knows.

'Cause he certainly discloses lots

of other things to the nation.

And I think that's wonderful.

Yes, I think he should, I hope he will.

- Should we have first contacts

with extraterrestrials or

whatever they may be,

what role do you think

King Charles would play?

- Well that's the

$24,000 question, isn't it?

I think King Charles is a

very open-minded man.

I think he's a very compassionate man

and he's a very sensitive man.

And I think he'll be very open to it,

because I believe now he's

defender of the faiths, isn't he?

Not the faith.

The faiths.

I suspect he would know anyway

to some degree what the true situation is

as does you know, the Pope

and the people that mash

around the world, the leaders.

I think it's just a combination of things.

I think from the,

if you're bring sort of

the church point of view,

the head of the Church

of England, stuff like this.

I think this sort, the

Vatican would sort say,

well we're all God's creatures regardless.

So whatever they may look like

or appear to us that

doesn't disprove a God.

It disproves as the creative soul

that has perhaps got many,

many different mansions

and we're just one

infinite minute, little bit of it.

- For me, UFOs and the paranormal,

it's a bit like a Pandora's box.

If you and I could

just lift the lid up slowly

and look inside, we'd be shocked.

If we took the lid off and looked inside,

we'd never be the same again.

And I just think maybe that isn't,

that isn't the right way.

I'm betwixt in between.

You want to know the answers,

I want to know the answers.

Would you really regret

having to find out the answer,

'cause it could change

your whole way of life.

Your whole outlook on life.

Maybe we don't need disclosure.

Disclosure so far have

told me very little about,

as we said, what these things

are, where they come from,

what they're doing here.

They've certainly been here.

We know that anything you agree with me.

- I mean we are at an

apex of weirdness really.

We've got disclosure in the US

that's pushing forward.

We've got the CERN Hadron Collider,

about to explore other

dimensions of reality.

Our king has an interest in spirituality.

He sees himself as king of all faiths,

which is a great thing.

So maybe he's gotta explore what these,

where this may end up and help us through

some momentous change that may be coming.

- There's a role, a really,

really important role you play as king.

So to embrace that kind of, that paranormal

identity, to embrace UFOs,

that's kind of bringing

it into the public realm.

It's bringing a seriousness,

it's bringing a kind

of, a gravitas to it all.

If you've got like the king

who like is standing by it,

these people are gonna

feel validated potentially

and more likely to share their stories.

- The impact that first contact

would have would be massive on society.

The fact that this, we are not alone.

There's probably a more

intelligent race out there.

How does that affect us,

our place in the universe, our place,

if you believe in God, with God?

There's important spiritual

aspects of first contact.

Will the aliens bring their own gods?

Will they bring no God?

And by virtue of being

far superior than us,

just by the fact they've had to travel

the vast distances involved.

Will they impose their beliefs on us

in a reverse colonialism?

Possibly.

So these are massive,

profound questions that,

we don't know the answers to yet.

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

David Grusch is heading South

To a place where we don't know

He's down on one knee

And taking tea with the king of UFOs

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

He's the King, he's the King of UFOs

Bob Lazar said he went to far

For a truth we can not know

So you take your nap

and then your cover's blown

With the king of UFOs

Watch him fly

Oh so high

Watch him fly tonight
