to house railroad workers
in 1921 when it was built.
In 1924 it was converted
to a hospital.
Um, it was used to house tuberculosis
patients on the upper floors,
and the bottom floors are where they kept
the children of the tuberculosis patients.
Sort of, so they were

the infected patients.
It was there that the boiler
room caught fire in 1924.
And um, ended up burning
three girls alive.
Uh, in the, in the basement, and that's
one of the rooms that we definitely
have access to during, the,
um, the tour that Jim Bindle
will be taking us on.
And, uh, no investigative team
has ever been there before.
So it's really f-

it's known to be one of
the most haunted places
