[grunts] Aw. My radish.

[sighs] Still no wind.

How are we gonna get this turbine moving
to save the garden? [groans]

[birds chirping]

[gasps] That's it.

I gotta tell everyone. Whoo! [laughs]

[snoring]

Measure twice. Cut once.

[snores]

- No, you're an acute angle. [snores]
- [Red] Whoo! Whoo-hoo-hoo!

Yeah. [chuckles, stammering]

Ooh. Ah. Pogey.

Blow the Fraggle horn.

- Okay. You got it, Red.
- Mm-hmm.

[strains, blows]

Oh, no! Red, it's broken!

Blow the other end.

If you say so, Red.

[panting, inhales deeply]

- [horn blowing]
- [Fraggles clamoring]

[Red chuckling]

- Good morning, Fraggle Rock!
- [Fraggles groan]

Great way to start the day.

Yeah. Come on, Red.

We're exhausted. We were up all night
trying to get that turbine to work.

- [shrieking] I can't feel my tail.
- [Boober] Hmm.

- It's gone.
- What?

You just slept on it, Wembley.

- It's still there, my friend.
- Hmm?

[strains]

Oh. Whew.

- I thought I lost you.
- [Red chuckles]

I had to wake you this morning
because it hit me.

Even after the darkest night,
the sun still rises.

I think all we need
to get that turbine working is...

You ready for this?

- Yeah.
- Yeah.

- Hope! Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!
- What?

- [chuckling]
- [Boober] Hope?

- That's what you woke us up for?
- Yeah.

- [groans] I'm heading back to sleep.
- Yeah.

- Yeah.
- Come on. Let's feel that hopeful energy.

[chuckles] Let's bounce some ideas around.

All we need to do
is get the wind to the turbine

so it can power
Cotterpin's composting system.

Who's got an idea where we can find wind?

- Hey. I have an idea. The gusties.
- Yeah.

Yeah. Maybe there's still some
in Whistling Hollow.

Ooh. We could use the Doozers'
Gustie Sucker to collect them.

Ooh. And we could use some sort
of tube to get them up to the garden.

And we could connect them
with upcycled building material.

Yeah. Right after a nap.

Or now. Now works.

Yeah! Let's go gather and move some wind.

And save the garden
and bring back the radishes.

- Yeah. [chuckles]
- Whoo-hoo! Yeah.

Oh, five more minutes. Five more minutes.

[growls, barks, sighs]

Sprocket, I'm trying to come up
with a new offshore turbine design

for my end-of-year project
but nothing's working.

[sighs] I need a new idea.

[whines, barks]

Thanks, but we already tried that,
and it didn't work.

- Because you kept eating the model.
- [grunts]

I need something that will float
and generate a ton of power.

But the problem is
if I make it too big or too tall...

- Oh. It's not stable.
- [groans]

[sighs] Okay. How about
a little gardening break to clear my head?

- [gasps] Let's go see Sprocket.
- [mumbling]

The plant.

Sprocket the plant.
You're Sprocket the do...

You know what? This is what you get
for trying to be cute with names.

- [barks]
- I'm gonna go change.

Gustie Sucker status, attached.

Me status, excited.

- [Fraggles cheer]
- [chuckles] Good job, everybody.

When I say "whoo," you say "hoo".

- Whoo.
- [Fraggles] Hoo!

- [chuckles] Yeah.
- [Mokey] Yeah. [chuckles]

- [chuckles] Whoo.
- Icy Joe's gotta call it like she sees it.

Red Fraggle, you're the captain of hope.

- [chuckling] Yeah.
- Hmm.

- [sighs]
- Oh. Wait. Are you okay, sigh-guy?

Oh, yeah. It's just...

Well, I haven't talked to Junior since
he threw away the Clappy Hands I gave him.

Now it's making me feel really bad
and sad and a little mad

and just not very rad. You know?

Seems to me
like you should just talk to him about it.

Well, yeah, but I'm scared.

I mean, the whole plan comes together
in the Gorgs' Garden,

and it could fall apart
if Junior won't talk to me, eh?

- [whistle blows]
- [shrieks]

Hey, vest-and-stripes.

How about some hopeful what-ifs?

Like, what if your Uncle Matt
has something to say about this?

- Let's read one of his postcards.
- Huh?

You heard me. I'm hopeful
his latest postcard will inspire you.

In fact, I'll read it.

- [gulps]
- [chuckles]

[clears throat] "Dear Nephew Gobo."

Wow. This... This does feel weird.

- Yeah.
- [clears throat]

"Today I stumbled upon
a very interesting situation."

Whoa! [groaning]

Hey, who turned out the lights?

[Matt] Out of all places, I was on top of
a giant Silly Creature construction site.

And a Silly Creature construction crew
was using a ladder in a very silly way.

You fools! Ladders go up and down.
[chuckles]

You need some Doozers.
They'll know what to do.

[Matt] I felt sad, Nephew. Thinking about
the Doozers and then all of you,

I realized how long I'd been away
from Fraggle Rock.

But even at my lowest, I'm still capable
of discovering amazing new things.

There they were,

an unknown and undiscovered troupe
of singy-dancies.

Wow! You sillies are fantastic!

Hello.

[Matt] They must have sensed that
I needed a pick-me-up,

because this group of dancy-singies
performed an amazing show just for me.

About a hero of history ♪

♪ Well, I guess I better tell you that
The hero of the story is me ♪

[Matt] They even asked me to join them.

[stammers] Me? Oh, I could never...

Here I come! [grunts]

- [groans]

[Matt] And just like that,
I had danced my cares away.

This group of dancy-singies
have given me a great gift.

Hope.

And it got me thinking,

maybe the artifact I'll send back
to improve Fraggle Rock,

should be a symbol of hope.

[vocalizing]

- [all] Go!
- ♪ So if you wanna get ahead ♪

- ♪ Get a load of what I'm telling you ♪

left my head spinning.

Oh, and the artifact I'm sending
to improve Fraggle Rock?

- It may take a while to arrive

- but trust me you'll love it.
- [laughing]

[chuckles]

- Wow. That... That actually made sense.
- Wow.

It's just like you said, Red. Hope.

What if I can work things out with Junior,

and what if he helps us get the wind up
to the turbine?

- Yes. Go talk to him.
- I'm gonna go talk to him.

- [chuckles] Then get going.
- I'm gonna get going.

Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo. Yeah. [chuckles]

[Pa Gorg] Well, the wind-moving tube
the Fraggles asked for is ready.

How's that look, my queen of the universe?

Perfect, my garlic blossom.

- Thank you for asking. [chuckles]
- Oh, schmoozy-woozy-woozy.

- [groaning] Oh, brother.
- [Ma Gorg] Yeah. [chuckles]

- [sighs] Okay. I'm gonna do it.
- [Junior Gorg] Lovey-dovey and the kissing

- and the snuggling, and hugging.
- Uh, Junior. Uh,

- I'm hoping we can talk.
- I don't wanna see that. No.

- Okay. I guess he didn't hear me.
- Blech.

- Let's do this!
- [shrieks]

- [groans] Never mind.
- Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo.

All right, everybody.

- [stammers] Huh?
- Let's get that turbine spinning.

- [Fraggles cheer]
- Release the gusties.

We hear you loud and clear
in Whistling Hollow.

[Architect] Okay, Cotterpin.
It's time to release the gusties.

So you hit the button,
and I'll say something really cool.

- Copy that, sir.
- Mm-hmm.

- Pressing the button in three, two, one.
- Mm-hmm. Mm-hmm.

Here come the babies!

[stutters, clears throat] Excuse me.
I'd like a redo on that one.

- [siren blaring]
- [Doozer 1] Gustie Sucker engaged.

[Cotterpin stammers]

- [Wrench] Here come the gusties.
- [chuckling]

- Gusties gathered.
- [both chuckling]

[Doozer 2]
Gusties flying through the tube now.

[Architect]
They're on their way to the garden.

[chuckles] Here they come.

Get ready for the turbine to spin

and start the composting system
that will save the garden.

Man, the gusties...

- didn't have the oomph...
- [all groan]

- ...to make it to the turbine.
- [Junior Gorg] Oh, no.

And now they're gone forever?

- [gasps]
- [Ma Gorg, Pa Gorg groan]

[whimpering] Game over.

- [Junior Gorg] Aw.
- Aw. Aw.

- Okay, so, that was...
- A complete disaster? Yep.

- Well, why don't we get some more gusties?
- There are no more gusties.

We used them all. It's hopeless.

Yes, the arc is long but it bends
towards gloom.

Helpful. Super helpful.

Oh, Red.
Do you wanna do a little breath work

- where you can process your emot...
- Nope.

- But you're the captain of hope.
- Yeah.

Well, now I'm the captain of nope,

- nope, nope, nope, nope, nope, nope...
- But... But Red...

- [horn blowing]
- [shrieks]

[panting] Hi, everybody. What's going on?

- Hmm, nice hat.
- [Sprocket barks]

Did you get that at your favorite store,
my closet?

- [chuckles] Oh, I'm not mad. It's cute.
- [growls, squeals]

- Hey, look at you, Sprockette.
- Huh?

I thought it would be easier
if I called her that.

- Plus, in my mind all plants are French.
- Hmm.

You had a little growth spurt, huh?

What, did the rosemary
give you a pep talk?

- [chuckling]
- Did you know that's real?

Plants have an incredible
communications system underground.

- Hmm.
- They share info on drought,

- pests, disease. It's fascinating.
- Hmm. [barks]

Well, everything else may be uncertain,
but there's one thing I do know.

This laundry isn't gonna do itself.

- [Red] Here you go.
- Thank you... [screams]

- [Red groaning]
- Red?

- What are you doing here?
- [groans] Feeling mopey and nopey.

- Wha...
- Figured your cave was the place for that.

So, uh, what's our miserable activity?

Cook something? Clean?

- [grunts]
- Well, I was gonna do some laundry.

Great. Perfect bummer.

- I'll go grab some soap stones. [sighs]
- [stammers]

[sighs] Red Fraggle wants to do laundry?
[groans]

[scatting]

You know, Red, when I do laundry
I'm not miserable. I'm... [shrieks] Wha...

- The hat feels good. Nice and dark.
- Uh.

Well, uh... Yeah. Yeah.

So, what do we wash first?

Well, I always like to start with socks.

But why do you wash socks anyway?

No one in the Rock wears them.

Well, I know,
but I hope someday they might.

Ooh, ooh. And if they do,
they'll get even dirtier,

which means I'll have to wash them again.
It's... It's the circle of suds.

- What?
- Huh?

- What about doom and calamity?
- [stammering]

Oh, sure, things can always go wrong,

but I'm hopeful they won't.

Even now.

- Boober!
- [yelps]

I came here for the "mope of nope",
and you're telling me you're hopeful?

I am out of here.

No, no, no. Wait. Wait. Wait.
But, Red, you're the captain of hope.

Everyone keeps saying that.

So I was, and now I'm not.

What difference does it make?

- [Fraggles chanting] No. Nope. Nope. No.
- [Boober] Huh? Huh? Uh... Huh?

[Fraggles chanting] Nope. No.

[chanting continues]

Apparently, a huge difference.

[whimpers]

[Fraggles] Nope. Nope. Nope.

Nope. What's the point of doing anything?

Red was right. Nope.

- Nope. Vibes are way low in here. Nope.
- [Fraggles chanting] Nope.

- [sighs] Nope. Or is it mope?
- [Fraggles continue chanting]

[groans] Nope, mope. It doesn't matter.
Nothing does.

[Fraggles continue chanting] Nope. No.

- Pogey, what's going on?
- [sighs] Nope.

- [gasps] No, "Hi, Red."
- Nope.

Oh. This is bad. What do we do?

Uh, I'm not usually the one
to be leader-y like this,

but I know exactly what we gotta do.

- What do we do?
- [Red sighs]

Just one moment.
We're in the middle of something.

- [Gunge, Philo] Hmm?
- Boys,

you can't put aluminum cans
in the compost bin.

- Oh.
- [grunts]

Organic materials only.

- [sighs] Still figuring it all out.
- Learning curve.

You're still gathering things
for composting?

The machine failed, so what's the point?

- [both gasp]
- What's the point?

- What's the point?
- What's the point?

[Marjory] Listen close, little Fraggle.

- We're in a serious time.
- [both] Mmm.

- What happens if we do nothing? Nothing.
- [both] Mm-mmm.

And that's not an option.

- So, we do something.
- [sighs]

You have to hold onto hope, even when you
don't know how it'll all come together.

Hope is contagious.

But so is mope and nope. Remember that.

But we did something, and it didn't work.
Why try again?

So, you lost one round.

- The game's not over.
- [both] No!

You're in the 23rd inning of rock hockey,
and you're down by 80 pickles.

- You gonna quit? No.
- [both] No.

You're gonna take a leap of faith
and get back in the game.

- Yes! [chuckles]
- Yeah.

[gasps] A leap of faith!

- She's back. Look at her pigtails.
- Stylish.

Yes! Thank you, Madam Heap!

Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

Oh, uh, yes. Thank you.

Aw. That was nice.

You were gonna leave,
and then you turned back and thanked me.

- Very polite. Yeah.
- Raised right.

- [Red] Come on, Boober.
- Oh.

- Good guy.
- All right, boys.

- Let's get this compost out of here.
- Yeah, it's not getting any fresher.

- Put the pedal to the metal.
- Let's get it out of here.

[Red] Hurry, Boober!

[Boober] Red, where are we going?

[Pa Gorg grunting, muttering]

Hmm. [sniffing] Aha! [chuckles]

Whoo! [chuckles]

- Oh, yeah. [chuckles]
- [gasps] Red, what are you doing? [pants]

You heard the Trash Heap.
I'm taking a leap of faith.

- Whoo-hoo-hoo!
- [shouts]

[all] Nope. Nope.

[Red] Whoo-hoo-hoo-hoo!

[gasping]

[chuckles] Come on, everybody.

Let's get moving! Whoo-hoo-hoo!

[stammers] Red,
I thought you were all "nope".

- Nope. She's back on hope. And so am I.
- Huh?

I just, uh, was not about to jump into
the pond and break my tail like that.

- [Gobo chuckles]
- But... But we still don't have wind.

- Well... [sighs] ...we can't do nothing.
- [grunts]

Maybe more wind will come.

And if it does, we'll need to find a way
to direct it to the turbine.

- [chuckles]
- [gasps] The Fraggle Horn.

If we put that at the end of the tube,

it could focus the wind
towards the turbine. [gasps]

Great idea, Red!

- Hi, Red!
- [gasps] Hi, Pogey!

[inhales deeply]

[horn blowing]

- [gasp]
- [Red chuckles]

Not being nopey here.
Just a practical question.

Uh, how do we get that up to the garden?

A hundred Fraggles couldn't lift it.

You're right. But I know someone who can.

I just have to finally go talk to him.
Hmm.

[gasps] Yeah!

[Junior Gorg groaning, sighs]

- [stammers] Junior Gorg,
- [gasps]

I need to talk to you.

- [stammering]
- [Gobo] No, no, no.

I have to get this out,
or I may never say it.

- Mm-hmm.
- [sighs]

I gave you something
that was really special to me.

But you threw it away and that hurt.

[sighs]

But I still wanna be your friend,
and I need your help.

And, well, that's all I wanted to say.

Oh, Gobo, I-I didn't mean to hurt you.

Pa just doesn't want us being friends

because that's not
what Gorgs have always done.

- You're right, Son.
- [gasps]

But, well, maybe that's not
how we have to do things now.

- What?
- What?

Well, you're your own Gorg, and I'm...

- I'm proud of you.
- [gasps]

- [Gobo gasps]
- Here.

- [sighs]
- I think these are yours.

- Pa. Oh. [chuckles]
- [chuckles]

- [gasps]
- [chuckles] Oh!

- [strains]

- Oh. [chuckles]

- [sighs, gasps]

I wanna squeeze you that tight.

- [chuckling]
- What? Oh, boy!

- Ugh. [groaning]
- [groaning]

Um, hey. So, can do you something
for us, friend?

Well, technically Wembley's my best f...
Uh, you know what?

Let's not spoil this moment.

[chuckles] Let's get to it!

[gasps] Ooh.

I think we're gonna need
a team uniform for this.

- Yeah! [chuckles]
- [chuckling]

Hmm. [gasps]

- I'm thinking something sock-related.
- Nice.

- [Gobo] Yeah.
- [Junior Gorg chuckles]

All set.

[inhales sharply] This is so exciting.

The idea just came to me.

A dual-rotor design built on one platform.

- [barks, huffs]
- Let's try it out, Sprock.

We're bringing out
the big fan for this one.

[howls, barks]

Ah, it's good to be back.

[sniffs] And when they realize
that I, T. Matthew Fraggle,

am the artifact
here to improve Fraggle Rock? [chuckles]

Brilliance! [chuckles]

[gasps, barking]

Oh. Hello, hairy.

No time for pleasantries.
I have an entrance to make. [chuckles]

[barking]

- [gasps]
- [Matt] Whoa!

Oh, no. It's awfully windy today.

[whimpers] Oh, no. Help me!

- Sprocket, it's working!
- [grunting, yelping]

- [chuckles]
- [yelping, whimpering]

[chuckles] Whatever happens next,

- we're ready to face it together.
- Mm-hmm. Yeah.

- [rumbling]
- [Red gasps] There's wind in the pipe!

- [Matt] Oh, no!
- Is that...

[whooping, screaming]

- Mommy!
- [gasping]

[exclaiming]

[whooping, screaming]

[gasp]

[Red] Look, the turbine is spinning!

[Fraggles cheering, clamoring]

[Red] It worked!
The compost barrel is churning!

[Mokey] Look, look! Look, look, look!

The new healthy soil
is spreading to the garden!

- [Gobo] It worked!
- [Red] Yes, we did it!

[all cheering]

Oh, oh, oh! Pogey, you were right about
how to blow the Fraggle horn all along.

- Oh, sure!
- [chuckles]

I mean, when air moves through
a wide entrance that gets smaller,

it gets constricted and therefore moves
with greater velocity.

- Uh...
- Hi, Red. I'm Pogey!

[all laughing]

- Who turned out the lights?
- [stammering]

- Uncle Matt, you saved the garden.
- [exclaiming]

- [Fraggles cheering]
- [chuckling]

- Of course I did. [sniffs]
- [chuckles] Welcome home, Uncle Matt.

[chuckles] Yes.

[chuckling]

- Ah, it's fantastic.
- [chuckles] Look at that, look at that.

- [Junior Gorg] It's working!
- Nice work, Junior.

- Yeah, we did.
- Oh, yeah.

- [Architect] Hmm.
- And to think,

Doozer ingenuity helped solve this, sir.

Oh, Cotterpin, I've never been prouder.

Oh, well, except for the one time
I invented something

- even better than the monorail.
- Hmm.

Uses zero rails. Oh, yes!

And my sweet Lanford helped.

- Mommy's so proud.
- Ah.

[sniffing] You been brushing your teeth?

- [growls] No. No. No.
- Let me see. Open. Open. Open.

Look at all the socks I get to wash!

- [chuckles]
- [Mokey laughs]

- [humming, barks]
- Well, Sprock, we did it.

That new design was simple, stable

- and the results were off the charts.
- [barks]

Aw, thanks for never giving up hope
on me, boy.

- [chuckles]
- [whining]

What are you burying there?

- Whose little backpack is this?
- [barking]

Soon a bounty of radishes will return.

- Yeah. We won the game. [chuckles]
- [chuckles]

Well, only this round.

- [scoffs] Helpful. Super helpful.
- [chuckles] No, Boober's right.

Hope is a game we have to play every day.

So, really, we're just getting started.

- [whooping]
- [Fraggles cheering, clamoring]

- [both cheer]
- [chuckles]

Hey, everyone. Whoopee!

[cheering, chuckling]

Well, Ma. [chuckles]
What a happy ending, huh?

Aw, it sure is.

And, well, it's also a happy beginning.

- [chuckles]
- Why you knitting socks that small?

Wha... Those won't fit me or Junior.

[scoffs]
It's like they're for a baby Gorg.

Mm-hmm.

- [gasps] Oh, boy.
- [chuckles]

I'm gonna be a big brother?

- Huh? [grunts]
- Mm-hmm.

- [Junior Gorg] Oh, I can't believe it.
- [chuckles]

- [Pa Gorg] Oh, boy. Oh, boy. Oh, boy.
- [sighs]

[Ma Gorg hums] Here's to new beginnings.

[laughing, chattering]
