[thunder cracks]
-[rain pattering]
-[mysterious music]
Good evening.
I brought you all here
because there's a mystery afoot.
-[thunder cracks]
-One of you is hiding something.
Mrs. Bear, Professor Basketball,
Colonel Garden Gnome.
-[thunder cracks]
-I wasn't born yesterday.
This is Season 3,
and I can sniff out an imposter.
-[thunder cracks]
-Is that fondant I smell?
Buttercream?
Lies?
[thunder cracks]
-[crowd gasps]
-What the...
I know there's cake in there somewhere!
[grunts]
[eerie music playing]
-[grunts]
-[thunder cracks]
I knew it!
-It's cake.
-[thunder cracks]
We're back with the most insanely talented
hyperrealistic-cake artists on the planet.
[woman] Hyperrealistic cakes
are the best way to trick people.
Once you eat it and it's cake,
it's like, "Error. What's going on?"
-Winner gets pizza. Rock, paper... Okay.
-[man] I got it.
I live in the middle of nowhere in Canada,
and I am very competitive.
Nobody's a friend anymore.
[group] Oh!
-[Mikey] Their goal is to fool our judges...
-Oh!
[judge] Wait a minute!
-Oh my gosh.
-This is crazy.
You're a witch.
This is harder than it looked
from my sofa!
-What are you hiding?
-What are you hiding?
{\an8}...to take their share
of a prize of over $100,000.
-[cheering]
-[whistle blows]
[Mikey] Season 3 is stacked.
Yarr!
There will be thrills...
Go, Team Canada!
-[woman] Switch places.
-No!
[Mikey] ...spills...
-[screams]
-Oh!
I just need to know!
[Mikey] ...and mind-blowing cakes.
I came prepared. Tupperware.
[laughter]
And finally, I may get the answer
to the most important question
of our time.
-[thunder cracks]
-Is it cake?
[spooky laughter]
[upbeat music plays]
[cheering and applause]
[laughter]
[contestant] Uh, whoa!
{\an8}Hmm. So I've been doing it wrong.
-[laughter]
-Fascinating.
Hello, bakers!
-[cheering]
-Hello!
[Mikey] Look at this group!
[laughter]
Welcome, bakers, to Is It Cake?
[cheering and applause]
[laughter]
I'm Mikey Day, and look at you all.
What's up, noobs?
[laughter]
I can't wait to see what you all create,
especially since there is
over $100,000 up for grabs.
[cheering and applause]
One of you will be crowned
the grand champion of Is It Cake?
-And I can't wait to see who it is.
-Yeah.
Now, I see you're all
scanning the room behind me.
[intriguing music playing]
You are smart.
Somewhere in this billiard room
are four hidden cakes.
-Ooh.
-[Mikey] And guess what?
It's up to you to find that cake!
[cheering and applause]
Okay, kids, you'll have 30 seconds
to scan the room and find a cake.
-Oh my God.
-[Mikey] Any cake will do.
The four bakers
who find a cake the fastest
will be baking today.
Welcome to the fun house.
[laughs]
{\an8}[Mikey] Your time starts now!
{\an8}[tense music]
{\an8}-[woman 1] Dear Lordy.
-[woman 2] Oh my God.
-[Mikey] Where are they?
-Oh, I'm not sure.
-[laughter]
-[woman 3] I have no clue.
[Mikey] Fifteen seconds left.
[tense music continues]
I love this part.
Ten seconds left.
Five seconds.
Three, two, one.
-Time's up.
-[bell dings]
Okay, bakers, let's see
who solved the mystery.
[woman 1] Mmm!
None of these books are cake.
However,
these books
are... a safe?
[group] Oh!
[gasps]
Daddy's knives.
-[group] Ah!
-[laughter]
-Daddy got his knife back.
-[laughter]
I love that.
Caitlin.
{\an8}Oh God.
What did you pick?
-Um, the beer stein.
-[Mikey] Why?
The... The metallic kinda looks off,
and I feel like
that texture could be molded.
Spoken like a baker.
[laughter]
Okay. First time I'm gonna ask this
this season.
[reverb effect] Is it cake?
-[normal] Let's find out.
-[tense music playing]
[group] Oh!
-[man] You got it.
-You got it, Caitlin.
[Mikey] Look at that!
[woman 2] Wow!
[Mikey] That's cake!
-Well done.
-Thank you.
-Yay!
-Good job.
{\an8}Kristen. What did you pick?
{\an8}I picked the marble bust.
-[Mikey] The marble bust?
-[Kristen] Yeah.
Why do you think this is cake?
My heart was beating hard,
so I picked something that I thought
that I would like to make into cake.
Okay, let's see if your heart is right.
[tense music playing]
-No! No!
-[group] Aww!
Look at her though.
She's like, "I'm not cake."
[laughter]
"No. No!"
[woman 4] Oh my goodness.
-Okay, there are cakes in here, I know it.
-Oh man.
Where are Daddy's cakes?
Is he sitting on a cake?
It's the couch?
-I just don't know.
-[group exclaims]
-[Kristen] You said that!
-Oh, no way.
Everything is cake here, folks!
It's everywhere.
-No freakin' way.
-Let's see the inside of this chair, baby.
-Ooh.
-[woman 4] Oh my God.
-[Mikey] Oh, look at that.
-[group] Wow!
[Mikey] Oh, it's gorgeous.
-[Kristen] Oh!
-[woman 4] Wow.
-Oh!
-[Kristen] Wow!
[Mikey] Sorry, I just want a little more.
Oh!
-[Caitlin] That's so satisfying.
-The chair eluded all of you.
-Well done, chair.
-[laughter]
Okay. Did anyone here pick the lamp?
Show o' hands.
-Ooh!
-Everybody else.
-Whoa.
-Popular choice!
-All right.
-Okay. Okay.
-[tense music playing]
-Let's see what's doin' here.
-[ding]
-Boop.
Whoa!
Does cake light up?
[suspenseful music playing]
-Oh!
-Wow!
[laughter]
-[woman] Ooh!
-[Mikey] This lamp is cake!
[upbeat music playing]
Wow. What about the shade here?
[woman gasps]
-Really?
-It's so pretty.
-[woman 2] Is it sugar?
-[man gasps]
-[woman 6] Oh my gosh, it's sugar.
-Oh my God!
-[woman 2] I thought it was wafer paper.
-[man] Really?
-Kids, that's isomalt.
-[woman 2] Beautiful.
-Wow.
-[woman 3] Oh my God.
-Great work, bakers. Well done.
-Yeah.
-Sorry. It's just fun to do.
-[laughter]
The bakers who found a cake
the fastest were
Henderson...
-Way to go!
-[Mikey] ...Jujhar...
-[woman] Ooh!
-[Mikey] ...Timmy...
[woman] Oh!
...and with her beer stein, Caitlin.
-[group cheering]
-Congratulations.
The four of you found a cake the fastest,
so you will be competing today.
The rest of you, head over to the gallery.
You'll be baking next time.
Thank you.
All of you guys
need to step up your detective game
'cause there was one more cake staring you
right in the face the whole time.
Let's try this.
Oooh!
[women] Is that cake?
-No!
-[laughter]
That's a wooden pool cue.
[laughter]
[Mikey] Oh, beautiful!
[cheering]
-That was beautiful.
-[Mikey] That was... Thank you.
Now, let's see what's happening here.
[dramatic, intriguing music plays]
Hmm.
Let's see.
Unh...
-Mmm!
-[group] Oh!
[woman] Oh my gosh.
[laughter]
That is delicious cake!
[laughter]
They're all cake.
The pool ba*ls were cake.
-[Kristen] Whoo!
-[scattered applause]
[woman 2] Wow.
All right, no more surprises.
It's time to play
Is It Cake?
-[whooping]
-Whoo!
[woman] Yay!
I bet you're wondering
what you'll be making today.
-What we want you to make is...
-[gong vibrates]
...totally up to you!
-[group] Oh!
-Oh yeah.
-Okay.
-[woman 2] Nice.
-[Mikey] There's nothing holding you back.
-Wow.
And because
we're just getting to know you,
create something that offers us a clue
to the mystery of who you are.
-Okay.
-[Caitlin] Hmm.
Your goal is to deceive our judges
and take home a cash prize
of up to $10,000.
-Yeah.
-[applause]
After all four bakers have had their turn,
the judges will determine one winner
and one loser.
-[woman whimpers]
-[man] Oh.
{\an8}[Mikey] Y'all have eight hours
to complete your cakes.
{\an8}All right. It's time to...
{\an8}[reverb effect, singsong] ...bake!
{\an8}[cheering]
{\an8}[Mikey] Best of luck to you all.
We just met, but I love you all already.
We love you too, Mikey.
-[Henderson] All right.
-[Jujhar] Some almond.
-[woman] What are you getting, Jujhar?
-Just my baking ingredients.
-How are you feeling?
-Good.
Jujhar, my fellow Canadian,
what are you making?
So it's gonna be like a rustic sack of...
Uh, like a flour bag.
[group] Oh!
When I was, like, six months old,
I went into my mom's kitchen,
I opened the cupboards,
I threw the flour on me,
and I started swimming in it.
-Aww!
-[laughs]
-That is so cute!
-That's where my baking love began.
{\an8}What does every baby do
when they see a sack of flour?
{\an8}They obviously wanna either eat it,
play with it, or do something with it.
{\an8}[woman laughs]
I wanted to make snow angels in it.
And I'm so excited
to share it with the whole world.
Just hope my arm doesn't fall off.
I'm the pastry chef and owner
of Mann & Co Bakeshop
located in beautiful
Surrey, British Columbia.
And that's in Canada.
People describe me as a gentle giant.
I love baking.
I love eating. I love cooking.
I'm known for my beautiful,
elaborate wedding cakes
and fine-detail work,
and also a lot of fun, bold flavors.
Hey, wanna try my curd?
-They're sharing.
-I love it.
That's sweet.
A bit of a yuzu curd.
-Wow.
-It's good, right?
Yeah, that's really good.
Hey, Jujhar, tell us
about your cake flavor.
Ooh, someone's a little nosy!
-[laughter]
-[Jujhar] I'm just kidding.
I'm doing a matcha cake
with a coriander buttercream, yuzu curd,
and a white chocolate crunch.
The most challenging part about my cake
is going to be
replicating the natural fabric
because I don't have a lot of cover-up
and hiding spots in my cake.
It's gonna be really hard.
-[Timmy] Caitlin, what are you gonna do?
-So I'm making a dartboard.
-A dartboard?
-[Caitlin] Yeah.
-Okay. So you're a champion dart thrower.
-[Caitlin] Yeah.
-I'm not a champion dart thrower.
-I'll get outta your way.
How come you chose that?
My husband and I actually met
playing pool at our college,
and now we play darts, like, every night,
which is really fun,
so reminds me of home.
{\an8}The time that I get to spend
with my husband playing darts at night
{\an8}is really great,
{\an8}because for the last few years,
we've been very kid focused at home.
I have a 14-month-old
and an almost six-year-old.
I am the first person in my family
to start their own business.
{\an8}It's an online bakery, The Sculpted Slice.
{\an8}I am 31, but people constantly card me
and think that I'm under 21,
which is hysterical.
I guess I'm aging gracefully. [chuckles]
You look so calm, Caitlin.
-For now.
-For now? Okay, we'll take that.
Talk to me in about three hours
when I start on, like,
the decoration part.
-[woman chuckles]
-Might change.
A dartboard is really hard
to make out of cake
because the shape and look of it
is very iconic.
Hey, Caitlin, what cake flavor
are you making?
[Caitlin] Chocolate cake,
an espresso Kahlua buttercream,
and chocolate ganache.
Yummy!
[laughter]
My whole life,
I've known I've wanted to be a baker
and I've wanted to do really cool cakes,
so I don't have a backup plan.
I gotta bring this home for my family.
[dramatic rhythmic music plays]
-Henderson's not even rushing.
-[woman] No, he's so cool.
-Hey, Henderson.
-Yep?
What are you making,
and what flavors are you making?
I'm going to make a... tiki cups,
probably three of them,
because I wanna make a composition
between different size and types,
and of course, a rum cake,
because my country love their rum,
and we use the rum
for any, any type of dessert that we make.
[both] Ooh!
-He said a few cups.
-Yeah, three.
[woman] Impressive.
{\an8}I'm gonna make a tiki cup,
because I come from Venezuela,
and we love rum.
We use rum in every single dessert
that we make.
Also, it's my favorite drink.
-Ladies, do you want some?
-[woman] Yes!
[Henderson] A shot? Yeah?
-Shots, shots!
-[laughter]
[Henderson] I'm making
a Venezuelan rum cake
with raisins and chopped nuts,
and I use the vanilla mascarpone cheese
for the filling.
-Smells like spices.
-[Henderson] Yeah, right?
-[Jujhar] Smells so good.
-Thank you.
The first time that I baked anything was
My wife and everyone was surprised
when they see the cake
because it looks really good.
Now I'm the owner of my own bakery,
and I create different pieces of art
every single day.
-Give me your opinion.
-Thank you. What is this?
It's my rum cake.
-Good?
-So good.
-You can feel the spices?
-Yeah? And the rum?
I want a slice of everybody's
when they're done.
[rock beat playing]
Timmy, what are you making?
I'm making a Rollerblade.
-[Caitlin] Ooh, fun.
-An aggressive, like, inline skate.
-Oh, wow.
-[Timmy] Yeah.
When I was younger,
I actually did aggressive inline skating.
I did some competitions and stuff,
and now my son
has found an interest in it,
and so it's kinda... kinda cool
to share that with him.
[Henderson] What're you doing?
[Timmy] I have a chocolate cake
with a salted-caramel soak,
brownie-batter filling,
and candied walnuts.
[Henderson] If you got extra, let me know.
Oh, I'll have extra.
{\an8}I'm from a really small town in Tennessee.
I'm the owner of Cakebuds Bakery.
I am most myself when I'm in the kitchen
and creating artistic cakes.
-Vroom, vroom.
-[laughter]
I love making T-shirts, power tools,
and a nine-foot kite cake
that hangs from the ceiling.
Where I'm from,
{\an8}I am the best hyperrealistic cake artist,
and I really wanna put my talents
against the best
to prove that I'm the best of the best.
-Everyone's in their zone.
-They are.
{\an8}-[Mikey] Gallery gals.
-[women] Yes, Mikey?
Ladies.
[laughter]
-Hello, bakers.
-[Jujhar] Ooh.
-I'm here to be loud and distracting.
-[laughter]
I've got your decoys.
-[group] Yay!
-[Jujhar] Oh yeah.
I don't know, Caitlin.
A lotta straight lines on there.
Yeah... it's fine. Everything's fine.
[tense music playing]
Do they fit?
[laughter]
-Ladies.
-Cheers.
[upbeat music plays]
{\an8}[Jujhar] I just hate being messy,
and I look like... ugh.
[laughter]
I never imagined
someone like me to be here.
Like, never, never, never.
Guys don't cook in our family.
Guys don't bake in the family.
There's a lot of, like, cultural norms
that were kind of put upon,
but my parents were always by my side,
and I'm honestly only here
because of my parents' support.
So just being here, like,
I'm so excited, I'm so grateful,
and you should always do
whatever your heart desires
because you're gonna do it
the rest of your life.
You should love what you do, obviously.
[woman] Jujhar, you're doing great.
Thank you.
[dramatic rhythmic music plays]
-Hey, Henderson.
-[Henderson] Yeah, ladies?
You're doing everything
with modeling chocolate by hand?
-That's my plan.
-[woman] Awesome.
For my faces, the only thing that I use
is my best mold,
my hands.
I hand-carve every single detail
in the cake
and make it look,
like, real, real realistic.
I come from Orlando, Florida,
and I'm the owner of Master Baker.
I make different types of cakes.
I make a shoe,
I make the hamburger, I make food.
One of my favorite cakes that I made,
it was the Pinocchio cake.
He had real movement,
and he looks like a puppet.
[women cheering]
It looks amazing!
-It's good. [chuckles]
-Wow.
{\an8}Bakers, two hours.
Caitlin, let me see. How you feel?
I feel like once this starts going on,
I'll feel better.
I'm not just enrobing this cake
in modeling chocolate.
This has so much detail
and so many colors.
Every little piece
has to be cut individually
and placed on very specifically
in order for it to look like a dartboard.
Caitlin, how's it goin' for you?
Once I get everything on,
I can start texturing and painting it.
It's really important
for me to do my best,
because I wanna show my kids,
if you believe in yourself,
you can achieve whatever you want to do.
-[Kristen] Looking good, Caitlin.
-Yeah.
Whoo!
-Timmy, how's your cake coming along?
-I think I'm okay.
-[Jujhar] Doing good?
-[Timmy] Getting there.
-Still has a lot of detail left.
-What do you use for cover your cake?
[Timmy] The inside is gonna be
modeling chocolate. Outside, fondant.
-The fondant looks just like it.
-[Henderson] Good choice.
Fondant has a dull, matte finish to it,
and so it replicates the plastic material
for the outer shell of the Rollerblade
really well,
and that's gonna really help sell
the plastic, hard nature of a Rollerblade.
Okay, I got some fun intel on you guys.
But I don't know who did what.
So I'm gonna try and guess
and solve the mystery.
One of you learned to swallow fire.
Who done it? Hmm.
[woman 3] Mm-hmm.
Who did it?
[woman 4 mimics fanfare]
-[Mikey] No way. Dude, this is like...
-[woman 4 laughs]
[women chortling]
Uh, it was fine.
I wanted to win a competition,
so I just thought
that might clinch the spot for me.
Did you win the contest?
-Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.
-[chuckles]
[Jujhar] It's looking like fabric, right?
[Henderson] Yeah, for sure.
-Looks awesome.
-[Jujhar] Thank you, Henderson.
Timmy, how's it going?
[Timmy] Pretty good.
I'm working on my wheels.
-[women] Ooh.
-These are just out of chocolate I molded.
Are you putting the wheels together
one by one?
[Timmy] I am.
My front and back wheels
will go over this.
-So then my cake will set on top of that.
-Smart.
-Fingers crossed.
-[woman] Fingers crossed.
An inline skate
is not an easy thing to make.
It is top heavy,
and it's balanced on a line of wheels.
And when you look at this cake,
you really wanna just feel
like it's balancing on those wheels,
so they have to look perfect
because that's really gonna help
sell the hyperrealism of it.
{\an8}-Bakers, you have one hour.
-[cheering]
{\an8}-Guys, you got this.
-Time to turn up the heat.
Definitely time to turn up the heat.
[fast-paced, rhythmic music playing]
What do you got working over here?
Your fruits?
[Henderson] Yeah. The real tiki cups
have a lot of different fruits,
like pineapples, cherry, limes, oranges.
Also umbrella. Also ice.
I use clear, unflavored gelatin
for making the ice cubes,
for making sure they're more realistic.
-[Jujhar] The cherries are looking cool.
-[Henderson] Thank you.
-What are you dipping it in? Gelatin?
-Gelatin.
The color looks great.
Like, all of the cherries on your station
looks the same.
-[woman] I can't tell which one's cake.
-[Henderson] Thank you.
Caitlin's is so hard because all
the sections have to be the equal size.
-Like perfect circles and perfect lines.
-[woman 4] Yeah.
Because the dartboard
that I'm trying to recreate
has all of these wires
separating the sections
and also creating the numbers,
which is super important,
I've decided to use a pasta extruder.
-[woman 3] Whoa!
-That is so cool!
Chocolate spaghetti, anybody?
Instead of using a single extruder,
I get 30 noodles at a time instead of one.
-[Kristen] That is so cool!
-So satisfying.
[laughter]
I am quickly running out of time,
so anything to make up time
will be amazing.
Two, four, six, eight, ten, twelve.
[woman 2] She's being really smart.
So she's putting modeling chocolate
over the actual numbers
and then using a freeze spray to set it.
{\an8}Okay, bakers. Half an hour.
{\an8}Half an hour to go.
{\an8}If Kristen can learn to eat fire,
you can fool the judges.
[fast-paced music playing]
[Grace] Jujhar, are you dusting?
Yeah, I have a combination
of, like, five petal dusts.
[Grace] Okay.
[Jujhar] From close up,
you can see the texture,
but when you're, like,
I don't know how far,
however many feet the judges are gonna be,
it's just gonna look like a plain blob.
So I gotta make sure
I highlight the cake really well,
and I get all the colors right
because that will trick them even further.
-So I'm trying to make horizontal streaks.
-Wow.
It's probably not making any difference.
{\an8}Five minutes, bakers. Five minutes.
The details, the decoys.
I could cut the tension with a knife.
I love it.
[laughter]
My biggest fan, Jujhar.
[chuckles]
There's only minutes left.
I am freaking out.
As long as I can get them on there,
I think it'll be okay.
I'm looking at the dartboard
super confused,
because I have two numbers left,
and I have no spaces left on my dartboard.
How the f...
I know I counted,
but I guess I only counted the numbers,
because I'm missing two whole sections.
[tense music playing]
[sighs deeply]
I only have seconds left to finish this.
At this point, I'm just leaving 'em off.
{\an8}Thirty seconds, bakers. Thirty seconds.
I really feel like
I have nailed making this Rollerblade.
Like, I could wear it
and skate around the room in it.
-All right, guys! You've got this!
-Whoo!
[applause]
[Henderson] Ooh, nice.
[Caitlin] This is not my best work.
Running out of time definitely
was not how I imagined this going.
This is really nerve-racking right now.
I don't wanna be the first one
to go home in this competition.
{\an8}Five,
{\an8}four,
{\an8}three, two, one.
{\an8}-Time's up.
-[applause]
-[exhales]
-[Mikey] Congrats.
Whoo-hoo!
I hope you all fool the judges. Good luck.
Bakers, you finished your cakes.
Well done.
Let's see if you can fake your way
to that possible $10,000.
[cheering and applause]
But first, let's meet
today's cake detectives.
First up, actor, comedian,
and my favorite impressionist,
{\an8}Jay Pharoah!
{\an8}[cheering and applause]
[laughter]
Among your many impressions,
I do wish Barack Obama would do the show.
[as Obama] All you gotta do
is send... send an offer,
because I feel as though
Number Three is the actual cake.
[laughter]
[Jay laughs]
Next, we've got a hilarious actress
and star of Netflix's The Wrong Missy,
{\an8}Lauren Lapkus!
{\an8}-Hi!
-[cheering and applause]
You have nephews, I understand,
who watch the show?
Yes. They don't care about anything.
-It's just this.
-Just this.
They wanna know if it's cake,
and I'm gonna find out.
[laughter]
Brilliant comedian
and author of Living My Best Life, Hun...
I sounded awesome when I said that, right?
{\an8}-Please!
-[Mikey] London Hughes.
[cheering and applause]
Hi! Hi, guys.
Hi!
I'm so excited to be here, by the way.
I'm losing my mind.
[laughter]
I'm undefeated at this game
when I play it.
When I play it on my sofa,
I've been undefeated.
[laughter]
-You're undefeated at home?
-Yes. Yes, at home.
I'm extremely defeated at home.
-She's defeated at home.
-So I'm nervous.
[laughter]
Okay, judges,
here's how it's going to work.
Over the course of two spins,
you are going to try to find four cakes.
In the end, you will be deciding
today's winning and losing bakers.
But no one is getting eliminated today.
-[London, enthusiastically] Yay!
-[cheering]
-[London exhales]
-Yes!
Because the winning and losing bakers
from today
will compete in dramatic
head-to-head showdowns
against the winning and losing baker
from our next episode.
Gallery, I'm lookin' at you.
[woman 2 whimpers]
The losing bakers fighting for their lives
to avoid elimination.
A baker's battle royale.
I love it!
[laughter]
Very Season 3.
[laughter]
Are you ready?
Yeah! Oh, sorry.
[laughter]
-Judges, watch out for these four.
-[laughter]
-I like 'em. Yes!
-[laughter]
Up first, we have Henderson and Jujhar!
[cheering and applause]
Judges, you'll have 20 seconds
to try and find two cakes
and lock in your answers
on the keypad in front of Jay.

Okay, judges, let's start with Jujhar.
Judges, why did you choose Number Two?
He did it.

-It's got a cakey bulge.
-Yeah.
That crease hasn't moved

-[cheering and applause]
-Judges, you're 0 for 1.
-Doesn't feel good.
[London laughs]
Let's find Jujhar's cake.
Where should I go now?
I think One.
I think One.
All right. Let's see
if Jay and Lauren are right here.
[tense music playing]
Oh, wait a second.
-[group] Oh!
-[Mikey] Oh my God.
-If only we said that when it mattered.
-[Jay] Yeah, I know.
[Mikey] Beautiful, Jujhar!
[London] Oh yeah, it is cake.
I can see that now.
[laughter]
-I can see that it's cake.
-[Mikey] Wow.
Judges, what did you choose
for Henderson's cake?
-[London] We chose...
-[Jay] We chose Six.
-[Lauren] Six.
-[Mikey] Why Six? What looks cakey?
We were debating
about the glistening factor on each cup.
Yeah. If you spray anything
with Crisco oil, they're gon' be shiny.
-Oh.
-[laughter]
Okay, let's find out.
-Henderson.
-[contestant] Whoo!

-[London] It could be Two.

[Lauren] I'm looking at Four.

-[Lauren] Yeah.

[Mikey] Five.
'Cause it's got that cake tilt.
[laughter]
-It has the famous cake tilt.

which felt more cake-like. I don't know.

Henderson?
[Henderson] I made a traditional rum cake
with pistachio, almonds, and walnuts,

I'm Jamaican.
My grandma does a bangin' rum cake.
This is just as good
as my grandma's rum cake.
-Thank you.
-[London] I'm not even lying to you.

-Ice cubes?

-You're a witch.
-You're a witch.

Let's move on to Caitlin's cake.
[Caitlin] Today, I made a chocolate cake
that's infused with espresso,
and it has an espresso Kahlua buttercream
and chocolate ganache.
-[London] How did you do the numbers?
-[Caitlin] I molded them by hand.
Wait, you actually did on here?
[Caitlin] Yeah. I forgot the 9 and the 12.
-Oh. Wait.
-Okay, that part's not good.
[laughter]
-This coffee flavor is amazing.
-Thank you.
Hey, yo, you know what you did?
Bullseye, sucker, bow.
[laughter]
-[Jay] Look at that.
-[Mikey] Moving on to Timmy's cake.
[Timmy] I have a chocolate cake
with a salted-caramel soak,
an edible brownie-batter filling,
and candied walnuts.
-That's my kinda cake.
-This is dangerous.
-[Lauren] Looks so real.
-[London] Look at the wheels!
[Lauren] The wheels are amazing.
My head is telling me that it's cake,
but my brain is saying it's Rollerblade.
-[Lauren] Yeah.
-[Mikey] All right, judges.
Deliberate amongst yourselves
and decide who will be
today's losing baker.
[Jay] This is a hard decision.
The thing about Timmy's Rollerblade,
I just felt that it had cakey energy.
It has a bakery energy.
It was givin' bakery.
Henderson's tiki cups, those were amazing.
I wish the cake
was just a little bit more moist though.
Caitlin's dartboard
didn't look as good as the others.
Kind of tipped it off
from all the way back there.
It's not like who's the worst.
-That's the hardest part.
