-Hello, Mother.
-Nico, you're here!
Can you believe that?
You were wishing for Monét.
-I was. I was.
-Why is that?
She's just kind of like
effortlessly funny.
Not like some other girls.
Monét: I don't try as hard.
[all laugh]
Well, I think
what makes Nico different
is that Nico is coming in
with a fully realized concept.
And Nico is like,
this is what I want.
I do wanna say that a lot of
times when you get into drag,
this other thing comes through
that you're not prepared for.
I play with gender all the time.
It's really a continuum.
It's infinite.
And this show
fully changed my life.
It allowed me to look at gender
and sexuality in a new way,
and it was full liberation
for me.
And it has led me
on my own journey.
I love it.
All right, what's your charity?
The Transgender Law Center.
They are fighting
on the front lines,
in the courts,
for the people,
for transgender
and gender-nonconforming people.
You know, legislation is
getting passed on a daily basis
that is not looking good
for all of us.
What I want really more than
anything is to raise awareness,
is to bring this voice
to mainstream
gender-variant media.
All right, so tell me,
who is your Snatch Game?
This was the first option.
It was Snooki.
-Full Snooki.
-Okay.
Do you wanna guess who this is?
Is that a fifties mom
or something?
It's Lucille.
It's Lucy Ball.
I really wanted
to step out my element
and into, like,
a real character piece.
So this'll be a first for me.
I love it.
All right, well, I can't wait
to see you out there.
Make me laugh.
I'm gonna full, like,
go home and have a full séance,
and I'm gonna summon Lucy
into my body.
[gasps]
Hello!
Hey, how you doing, Ru?
Trixie and Jordan.
So now on Riverdale,
is your character funny?
No, my character's very serious,
and he's probably, like,
the most serious character
on the show.
What is your drag name?
Babykins La Roux.
-Isn't that fierce?
-How fabulous is that?
I know!
You seem kind of
a reserved person.
Is Babykins La Roux
kind of out there?
Totally.
When I get on stage,
the side of me
that's very shy goes away.
So this allows you and your
secret self to just emerge
and let your wings open
to their full capacity.
You know?
-Yeah!
-Yes!
Yes!
That's what it's all about.
What's your charity?
My charity
is Cystic Fibrosis Canada.
My fiancée and I
do a lot of work with them,
because her father
passed away from the disease
when she was only six years old.
RuPaul: Oh, that's terrible.
Cystic fibrosis
is a really terrible disease,
and you have to live
a very uncomfortable life.
It's really important
to our family
to just bring that charity
to the forefront
and help them find a cure.
What are you doing?
I am doing Chrissy Teigen.
-Chrissy Teigen!
-Chrissy Teigen, yeah.
-That's perfect!
-Yeah.
Have you ever done her before?
I've never done her before, no.
-Uh-huh.
-Yeah, yeah.
What about
when you're at home alone?
[all laugh]
I can't wait
to see you out there.
Make me laugh.
Thank you, Ru, I will.
-See you, Trixie!
-Bye!
I think winning Drag Race
and giving this money
to Cystic Fibrosis Canada
would just make me very proud
to have done something
so out of the box and crazy,
and help a bunch of people
in need.
Hello, Jermaine.
How you doing?
-And Bob the Drag Queen.
-That's me!
How is it working out so far?
-Amazing.
-Oh, swimmingly.
Yeah? What's your drag name?
My drag name
is Miss Mimi Teapot.
Miss Mimi Teapot.
What's the meaning
behind that name?
Mimi was my mom's nickname,
and my mom passed away
about a year and a half ago.
-Oh.
-Yeah, but she here in spirit.
She was a l*sbian, too,
so she watched the show.
-Really?
-Hell, yeah. Yeah, yeah, yeah.
Growing up, my mom,
she thought for herself.
You know, black churches,
very h*m*, you know.
She inspired me
to just be my own person.
Talking about her in past tense
hurts so much.
It's very surreal,
thinking about it,
talking about her,
and what she meant to me.
So the Mimi part is paying
homage to your mother.
-Yeah.
-And then teapot?
Teapot
is my daughter's nickname.
Ah. So what's your charity?
RAINN is a charity
that supports people
who've been sexual assaulted
and abused.
I chose that one because I found
out someone I really care about
was abused as a kid
when I was a kid.
And it kind of f*cked
with me a little bit,
because you start thinking,
I should have been there
to help you.
-Right.
-You know.
and I feel like sh*t,
I'm so sorry,
and you know.
Yeah.
When I first found out,
I was like, it...
I was angry.
Ever since then, I was like,
any way I can to give back,
take my damn money.
We're here for Snatch Game.
I see a wig here,
and I know this wig.
I told him about
the recent Whoopi scare
on Season 11.
Right?
When someone else did it
before me, I kind of go...
But he's a comedian, though.
Who was your second choice?
Joan Rivers.
Bob: But Kevin Hart is really...
Can you just do a little bit
of your Kevin Hart voice?
Okay, okay,
I'm...I'm...I'm here now.
I'm so sorry about
what I said on Twitter.
But listen,
my kid's in the back.
Uh, um, I'm nervous
as f*ck right now.
The voices are down.
Well, you know,
I know you're not sure
because this
is a drag competition.
But, listen,
you're a creative person.
You know,
you could do Kevina Hart.
[both laugh]
You know what I mean?
Hmm. You a little genius,
ain't you?
You just...
you make me laugh.
That's important,
most important.
Make Ru laugh.
Absolutely.
Click-clack, boom.
Go with Kevina Hart.
Mm, mm, mm, mm.
Gather 'round, racers.
Now, tomorrow on the main stage,
we'll be playing the Snatch Game
in front of
a live studio audience.
[cheering]
Now, feel free to use hair
from Wigs and Grace
and makeup from
Anastasia Beverly Hills.
Now, racers, remember,
you're doing this for charity.
So don't f*ck it up!
[all laugh]
-See you later.
-Thank you, Mother.
I'm choosing to do Kevina Hart,
but I'm still in my head about
where Imma take this character,
the right way, you know?
I wanna do it the right way.
Okay.
Right now, I feel like doing
my Chrissy Teigen impersonation
is gonna make my heart
fall out of my butt,
because I don't know
if I can bring it.
Vita-veeta...
Vita-veeta-vegemen.
I have to nail it.
I have to hit it perfectly,
or else every queen across
this country, across the world
will have something
to say about it.
Yeah. I'm nervous.
RuPaul: Coming up...
You're a heterosexual person
who's doing this
for the first time.
How are you doing this without
feeling, like, uncomfortable?
[RuPaul laughs, bell dings]
[RuPaul laughs]
-Hey!
-Oh!
-h*, h*, h*!
-Welcome.
It's day two in the werkroom,
and I'm pretty nervous
to see what I'm gonna look like
in full drag,
because I did a pretty bad job
with the quick drag.
So I think
it's gonna be a huge shock
when I finally see myself
all full dragged up.
Hi-ee.
Jordan: Y'all look nice.
As Beyoncé says, you know,
I woke up like this.
How was your evening?
-Great, it was great.
-I went right to bed.
It was emotional.
This is the night
before Snatch Game.
Is this the right decision?
Should I leave now?
[all laugh]
All right.
Nico. We gotta shave
you up and get you together,
so we should get started.
Let's clean her up.
I'm feeling so much better
about Snatch Game.
I'm committed.
I'm going big.
Monét: Oh, my goodness.
I'm excited to transform.
I'm excited to, like,
get beautiful and compete.
Did you wanna get my ba*ls
after this?
Yes, I'll do everything.
The idea is
it's Kevin Hart in drag.
It's sort of like
Kevin Hart's apology.
Got it. I love that.
Now, you know that winning
the Snatch Gameis not enough,
because you gotta lip sync
for your life.
Jermaine: I do.
Bob: My tea is that...
-You ready?
-Oh, yeah. Oh, yeah.
The only thing making me
a little nervous
is that I just haven't found
time to practice our song,
and Jordan is very prepared.
Oh!
You're a heterosexual person
who's doing this
for the first time.
How are you doing this without
feeling, like, uncomfortable?
I don't know.
I mean, I think when
I was, like, 19, 20 years old,
and I was playing football
really seriously,
I would have been pretty scared
to do something like this.
But now, I think
the more you can learn
about other people's lives
or other cultures,
it's such a good insight.
At the end of the day,
I'm more secure
in my masculinity
by doing something like this.
Oh, my God.
Do you know how many g*y people
aren't even comfortable
to get in drag?
Oh, really?
When I started doing drag,
I used to, like,
do it once a month,
and then when I wasn't doing it
I had, like, a box of drag
in my dorm room,
hidden, that nobody would see.
Wow. Oh, wow.
Because, you know,
when you're a man,
you're supposed to be like,
well, you don't like that.
You're not supposed to do that.
Totally, yeah. I think...
And then I was really guilty,
because I liked doing drag
and felt bad about it.
So I think it's interesting
that you can slip into this
and be like, and what?
Right.
I don't really have a lot
of straight male friends.
I mean, to be honest,
straight men still freak me out,
because when I was young,
it was just like I would
never fit in with them,
and they'll never think I'm cool
or normal or acceptable.
And so to have this experience
with Jordan, it inspires me.
I think it's cool.
Was there any part of you
that was nervous to come
and being on in drag?
Oh, definitely. I think like
the first thing I thought
was like, oh, no,
are people gonna judge me
for coming on here?
But then you quickly put that
away because that's stupid.
And then you just think, like,
you know, I'm gonna have fun,
and people are gonna love it.
And if they hate it,
then they're idiots.
-I f*cking love that.
-Also, as actors,
for so long there have been
these, like, rules
that they have to act
a certain way,
dress a certain way,
like, behave a certain way,
and to be this, like,
leading man, right?
And times are changing
right now.
There's a lot of thoughts
to about embracing femininity
in black culture.
-Girl.
-Especially amongst comedians.
We do get put in boxes.
And you can only play a pimp,
you can only play a crackhead,
you can only play
a basketball player.
And so I was very inspired
by you and Monét,
you know,
just doing the show,
and just being a presence,
existing, you know?
It was very, very
f*cking motivating.
That's why
I wanted to do the show.
I wanted to prove something
not to just myself,
but, you know, to the world,
that we don't have to put
ourselves in these boxes.
Going back to your point,
um, between me and Bob,
who's better, though?
[all laugh]
Trixie: Oh, my God.
I guess we'll find out
on the runway.
[all laugh]
As Nina West says, drag
is m*therf*cking magic, girl.

We're like halfway there.
Holy sh*t. Wow.
Seeing myself right now
is like this person
that I've never been before
coming to fruition.
I love it.
-[gasps]
-Oh, my God. Wow.
You look better in half-drag
than I ever have in full drag
my entire life.
I am complete fish right now,
and those other two queens
don't even know what gills are.
Just a little more work to do,
but I want you to see
how the transformation
is taking place.
-All right.
-All right, here we go.
[laughs] Oh!
-Yes, honey.
-Oh, my God!
I look so different.
I see my mom in the reflection
a little bit.
And honestly, there was
just some comfort there,
a lot of comfort.
After she passed away,
people would tell me, you know,
you've got pieces
of your mom in you.
It's a mind f*ck. I got to see
my mom again, like, in me.
A little speechless.

from start to finish.
You were playing a drag queen
who was a straight guy.
There was a lot
of different layers there.
[laughs] Yes.
And it could have gotten
complicated and confusing,
and it did not.
It was such a smart choice
and a big risk
that really paid off.
-Thank you.
-This is a hard dress to wear.
This is a dress
that could wear you very easily,
and you came out here
and you slayed.
Thank you so much.
My favorite thing is you
were a girl that we all know.
Because you came out here like,
"I'm doing my job,
and then I got to go."
[all laugh]
What was the first thought
you had
when you looked in the mirror?
That I looked like my mother.
-Oh, really?
-Yeah.
What do you think
your mother would say right now
if she saw you?
Ah, man.
She's proud of me,
and she'd laugh.
[laughs]
She'd laugh her a*s off.
She'd make fun of me first.
And then she'd say
she's proud of me.
What would you say
to your daughter right now?
I'd tell my daughter
it's okay to be yourself.
It's okay
to experience new things
and get out
of your comfort zone,
and not to be placed in a box
that society might put you in.
That's what my mom taught me.
It just makes sense
to teach her the same thing.
What a great way to exemplify
what your mother taught you.
Thank you.
Every kid wants to their mom
to be proud of them,
and in that moment he felt that
she is genuinely proud of him.
And I am, too.
Up next, Olivette Isyou.
Hi-ee.
Now, you're mopping my look
from my Supermodel
of the Worldvideo.
Thank you for sharing.
Gorgeous.
You look beautiful.
You came out, and you were
living and feeling, uh-huh.
-Mm.
-Every inch of it.
You really were.
And you looked...
I mean, this waist, though, huh?
She is snatched, henny.
You look stunning.
It is, you know,
quintessential drag glamour
from the hair
to the accessories,
which I'm living for.
And it was so fun
to watch on the runway.
What I loved about your Lucy
in the Snatch Game
was how committed you were
with the character,
with the noise, that "Eew.'
Carson: Then there is the wig,
the makeup, the costuming.
You looked like Lucille Ball.
It really sold it.
So of the whole competition,
did you have a favorite part?
The fact that
these two straight boys came
made it so much more special.
Because so much of my work
is about the collapsing of these
binaries and divisions, right?
And to see them find this
validates everything
that I do, you know?
Yeah. Well, thank you.
Thank you for having me.
I'm very proud
of my little mentee.
I think Nico's come a long way.
We both learned from each other
a lot in this process.
Now if Nico can come in
and do our little
boo-boo-bah-bah-dah-dah-dahs
in the lip sync,
I think we can win.
RuPaul: Thank you, racers.
I think we've heard enough.
Now, to prepare
for your final lip sync,
you may return to the werkroom.
RuPaul: Coming up...
Are you guys all confident
in the lip sync song?
I am excited to lip sync.
This is the moment
where you have to
lay it all out on the line.
Oh, the doors have swung open.
Do y'all know these people?
[RuPaul laughs, bell dings]
[RuPaul laughs]
[gasps]
Duck.
Ooh, c*ck!
Uh-huh!
Trixie,
the c*ck are here.
It's crazy how
dressing like someone else
makes you absolutely sure
of who you are.
Doing drag has taught me so
much about myself out of drag,
and Jordan's been in drag
one day
and has had so many light bulbs
about himself.
-Let the ritual begin.
-Put them feet up!
Salud,y'all.
-Bersulang.
-Salud.
Monét: You f*cking
really did a great job.
Yeah, you did a challenge,
you did a runway.
How does it feel?
I do feel like I did better
than I really thought I would.
-Yeah?
-I was very nervous.
I am excited to lip sync.
Are you guys all confident
to lip sync?
No. I truly am not confident.
-Really?
-No!
[sighs] Okay,
I'm a little nervous now.
Great runway, great look,
and great Snatch Game,
but lip sync is where
you make it or break it.
Oh, the doors have swung open.
Do y'all know these people?
Oh, my God.
[both laugh]
I no!
I was like, wait,
where's Jordan?
No way!
Jordan!
Right now, my fiancée
and my sister
don't even recognize me.
I honestly
walked in to that door
and didn't think
you were sitting there.
-Really?
-I was like, "Where is he?"
-I was like, okay.
-I can't stop staring at you.
And in the best way.

Oh, my God.
Oh, my God, amazing.

You're like a baby.
I'm just so excited for them
to see me like this.

Oh, my God, Nico.

-I'm so happy you're both here.
-I'm so happy to be here.
Thank you for coming.
Win for us, baby!
-I love you.
-Okay.

This lip sync is,
to quote one of the greats,
your last chance to impress me.
-Good luck, girls.

Good luck, ladies.
This could be the thing
where you just come out there
and turn it all around.
It's not over

Going into the lip sync,
I feel like I know I have to
knock it out of the park.
This is the moment

is not my strong suit,
but I know if I can deliver
this song the right way,
I'm gonna win.
This is my last chance
to win this.
When the music starts
and the lights go down,
this is it. Game on.
