in just seven days.

Arnold: You're sure you want
to do away with this window?

Scott: An epic battle
of the beds--

Troy: I wish I was a kid again.

Bryan: What if I told you
I'd seen something very similar?

Scott:--ended with Rotem and
Troy taking home

their second win in a row.

Now, with the cabin
interiors complete...

Jena: Game on, baby.

Scott: ...it's time
to step outside.

April: Like Titanic!

Rotem: I think I'm delirious.

Savannah: I don't know if
I have one more pivot in me.

Scott: To see who will sink--
(loud splash!)

or swim.

Four pro builder designer teams

from across North America

are leaving everything behind
to show us what they've got.

Bryan: Their mission:
to transform these four cabins

inside and out, in only 7 weeks.

Arnold: Coming off
a couple of losses,

we're both really
feeling the pressure.

But I'm happy to have another
opportunity to get a win.

Savannah: Going
into challenge 6,

I just have to let go
of the loss from last week.

Kyle: No time to wallow
in our sorrows.

We have another
challenge ahead of us.

Rotem: We have two
wins in a row.

Troy: We have to
continue our momentum.

Jena: I might look
confident sometimes,

but there's always
an ounce of me

that is stressed and
worried and thinking

that it's not
going to be enough.

Everything is on the line here.

Scott: Teams, you've all
come such a long way

in this competition.

You have fully finished
the interior spaces,

but the work here
is not quite done.

Bryan: Now it's
time for us to see

how you take that
personality you showed us

inside the cabins,
to the outside.

Rotem: A lot of people,
they go on vacation,

they spend a lot
of time outdoors.

So this is a very important part
of this whole competition.

Scott: You'll have to consider

the curb appeal,
the landscaping,

the hardscaping,
and your back decks.

As a bonus, Bryan and I
are going to contribute

a dock for the shoreline.

On top of that, we will provide
you with a selection of

pavers and plants as a reward
for your hard work.

Rotem: Alright!

Scott: This will not
come out of your budget,

but you will have to consider
them in your designs.

Bryan: As always, you have
until the end of the week

to complete the
exterior of your cabin,

not only to wow and impress
the guests when they arrive,

but to keep them comfortable
and entertained while they stay.

Scott: Even though
we're outdoors,

we're still looking
at the quality of your work,

the creativity and
the functionality of your space.

Bryan: At the beginning
of this competition,

we gave you a $100,000 budget
to spend on your cabin.

If you have any money left,

now's the time to spend it.

Scott: Right now,
it's still anyone's game.

$100,000 up for grabs.

The exterior,
the biggest challenge yet.

Everything is at stake.

Bryan: Who's ready

Kyle: You better make
your dad proud,

he is a landscaper after all.
What are your thoughts?

Savannah: I want the inside to
reflect also on the outside.

I am so comfortable
in exterior design.

My dad is a
landscaping designer,

and it's something that I feel
like runs deep in my blood.

For this exterior, I'm going to
go with a really dark stain

for the main parts
of this cabin.

And then I want to do a pop
of color with this green trim.

In the back, I want to do
two dining tables

to be able to seat as many
people as possible.

I want to do a firepit, a
barbecue grill for entertaining,

and then as an added bonus,
let's do a hot tub.

I'm going to use a pergola.

I think it's gonna
be super special

and I think it's going to
add a lot.

The hot tub is a
non-negotiable for me.

I was very mindful
when it came to saving money

to make this outdoor space
exactly how we want it to be.

Troy: So what are we
going to do out here?

With our budget, I
feel we're on track.

We've been pretty frugal
with our spending.

Rotem: We're going to go with a
beautiful graphite, metal roof.

Troy: Okay.
Rotem: And shake siding.

For the exterior of the cabin,

we're going to whitewash
the logs

and put gray shingles up top.

We'll put in a stone pathway
that goes around the side

to the back, then add lots of
wicker-style furniture

on the deck and some loungers
and a barbecue down below.

Finally, there's a firepit and
a beautiful barrel sauna.

We've already, I think, proved
ourselves on the interior,

and I'm feeling very confident
about this next challenge.

April: You ready?
Arnold: I am.

April: I definitely planned
on spending every dollar

that was allocated for us.

Arnold: Luxury is expensive.

So... our lack of budget
for the exterior

is really a concern for me.

April: We're going to have
to be really creative

Kind of try to find ways to
bring some of the luxuriousness

that we have on
the inside, outside.

Arnold: We'll add in some
beautiful glass railings,

I'll add in some
stair lights for safety,

and also, it's like as a nice,
like, luxurious feature.

April: Oh, yeah.

We're going with a
black exterior

for the logs and brown siding
up top,

for a classic,
yet contemporary look.

Around the back, I want
to keep the deck simple

with an elegant dining area
and exterior couch seating.

Then I want to add LED
lights to the stairs

that lead down to loungers
and a hot tub.

I'm thinking that
the money that we have left

is going to be just enough
to make it an impactful space.

Arnold: Just not as--
April: Over-the-top.

Arnold: (laughs)--as maybe
we would like it to be.

Sean: All right. Talk to me.

What do you want
to see here?

Jena: Okay. We're doing an
entertaining space

inside this cabin.
Sean: Mhm.

We've got to bring
that entertainment factor

all the way out here.

In this exterior,
just like the interior,

everything starts
from the premise of

how would you want
people to feel?

We want people to feel welcome.

We want a place
for people to gather.

We've gone with a more dark
facade, black on black.

A little touch of
light wood tones

playing through in the main
soffit areas.

We want to stand out, so
let's have a bright orange door

Around back, we've got
that pass-through window.

So Sean is able to build a
built-in barbecue set up.

It's going to be a beautiful
place where people can gather.

Off of the barbecue, I want
to see a dining table,

a lounge set up, and to finish
it off, we've got a hot tub.

This challenge, there
is no hidden contingency,

like, the budget is the budget.

There's not very much
room for error here.

Scott: This week, the
biggest transformations yet

are happening at the resort.

The exteriors of the cabins
are getting stained.

They're getting their roofs.

They're getting all their
trims and soffits painted.

Rotem: This will go really
well with our roof color.

Bryan: We're really looking for

a cohesive design
inside and out.

Savannah: I think
that looks so good.

Bryan: It's one thing
to carry a theme

throughout an
entire house inside.

To showcase that theme
on the outside of the house

may be challenging.

Rotem: Okay, so first,
we need to talk about

the pavers here, what's
going on with the stones?

And I have this catalog
here from Techo Bloc.

So I'm thinking for the
main area, cobblestone look.

Troy: Yes, very European.
Rotem: Right?

Very natural, organic shape.
Troy: Yeah.

Rotem: It's called
the Antika Paver.

Antika, like antique, which is
perfect with a nostalgic theme.

Troy: Which color
are you thinking?

Rotem: Chestnut
brown is beautiful.

I think that's a winner.
Troy: Yeah.

Rotem: And then I saw
another one here.

This tree stump in front of
the stepping stones

from the front to the back.

Troy: Genius!
Rotem: These are like stepping
stones, they're beautiful,

I wanna show you...

Troy: Some colors?
Rotem: Some colors... up here.

This is the Borealis.

What are you thinking?

Troy: You pick
one that you like,

and then I'll pick

I'd give it a try.

So, Arnold and I have not
really spent time in cabins,

and it does kind of make me a
little nervous for the exterior.

But I'm designing these
spaces for people like me.

People who want to experience
something that's outdoorsy,

but something that's
comfortable and luxurious.

This looks really good.

I love how it goes
with the black.

Nice, woodsy meets luxury.

I love it.

Arnold: You want
to do a couple?

That would really help
speed this process up.

April: No, I would mess it up,

and that wouldn't
be luxurious at all.

(power tool whirring)

Savannah: I've been bold
in all my interior spaces,

and so I'm going to do
the same on the outside.

I really wanted to add a pop
of color in this exterior stain.

I want it to be like
a pop of something,

but I don't want it to be like--

As all of these cabins are
getting stained, I'm realizing

that ours looks very different
compared to the rest.

It makes me a
little bit nervous.

Once you put stain on,

it's very, very difficult
to take it off.

So I feel like
it's a really big decision.

We haven't been able to
see our competition

style or vibe at all,

and so being able to
see their cabins

finally taking shape,

it is very nerve racking.

I'm really starting
to self-doubt.

I really hope
this is a good choice.

I just want it to be right.

Kyle, I need you to come look
at this color really fast.

You think it's a good choice?

Kyle: I like it.
Green's my favorite color.

Savannah: I know it is.

Troy: Ro', look what's comin'!

Savannah: Oh, my gosh.

We are working outside and we
see a delivery for Cabin Four.

Rotem: Oh, my gosh!

Troy:
Seeing the reaction

on the other
competitor's facac,

I'm feeling like I've
put some fear in them.

Scott: The teams have spent
the past five weeks

completing the interiors
of their cabins.

And they've also
had to make sure

that their design themes are
cohesive throughout.

Now, it's full time focus
on the outside of these cabins.

You can see everybody
looking next door like,

what are they doing over there?
And it's getting hard to hide

all the changes that
are happening here.

Savannah: Oh, my gosh!

Bryan: They're starting to see

what kind of competition
they really have here.

Troy: Ro',
look what's comin'!

Rotem: Oh, my gosh!
(laughs)

It's beautiful!

Savannah: Look at that!

It's a sauna.

Kyle: It's a wood-burning
barrel sauna, and it's awesome!

But I ain't scared.

Rotem: This sauna
is a huge element.

I don't think any
of the other teams

thought about getting a sauna.

Surprise!

Sean: It's in the
wrong position.

It should be over here, mate!

Troy: Oh!
Rotem: (laughs)

Troy: Seeing the reaction
on the other competitors' faces,

I'm feeling pretty good.

I'm feeling like I've
stricken some fear in them.

Sean: I'm feeling
a little nervous.

Troy: We've come
to play ball here.

Jena: Game on, baby.

Rotem: (laughs)

April: It looks so good.

Rotem: This is gorgeous.

Savannah: When I see the
black and white pavers,

I was over the Moon excited!

I love it!

It think it's going to
connect to the interior,

to the exterior really well.
It's so beautiful!

Rotem: Let's bring it

put it in the shade,
put it together.

Troy: So Rotem starts bringing
out all these furniture pieces.

And I was wondering, why didn't
she buy pre-assembled furniture?

Rotem: So, I got one--

Troy: About 55,000 pieces.

Rotem: (laughs)

Now what?

Troy: How is the
sectional coming, honey?

Rotem: Um... I'm still
trying to find pieces.

Troy: If anyone can do it,
you can do it.

Rotem: Does this look like

I just... I think I'm delirious.

I'm starting to get
a bit stressed.

This is taking...

Arnold: It's definitely
interesting looking at

some of the
other cabins.

They just have
a ton of activity,

a lot of materials.

April: There's a lot of stuff!
Arnold: A lot of stuff.

Sean: We got so many chairs.

April: Jena and Sean

a yard sale going on.

Sean: So there's one more
backrest, right?

Ugh!

April: There's so much
stuff out there.

Arnold: Looks like you've
got a lot going on over there!

Jena: I feel like
we're a furniture store!

Bryan: You'd better paddle

Scott: I'm super excited
for this week's challenge

because we're outside, which is
where everybody wants to be.

It's the reason why people
are booking these properties.

Scott: So we're giving

helping to get them installed.

April: I'm feeling like

Arnold: It's a river.

April: Whatever.
It's like... it's my moment.

Savannah: April,

Scott: It's a good thing

Sean: I'm working on the shower,

when I can notice the neighbors
having a look over.

Troy: What're you doing

for a outside shower.

Jena: Cabin four, we can
tell they're competitive.

Troy: Ro', they're doing
an outdoor shower.

I'm pretty competitive.

Yeah, a little bit.
Rotem: To say the least. Yeah.

Troy: I love it!
But I don't love you having it.

Sean: You can come over
any time you like, Troy.

Troy: Jena and Sean,
they did bring their A-game.

It's a little bit
nerve-wracking.

Sean: I know that we've put
a little bit of fear

in cabin four.

Scott: How's it

Troy: Gentlemen?

Scott: Well, your cabin
looks very different

from the rest of them.
You've gone light!

Rotem: Well, we wanted
you to understand

that you're coming into
a light and airy space,

and we wanted you to feel
that on the outside.

Bryan: Tell us about this

Rotem: This is our barrel sauna.
Scott: Stop it!

Bryan: When it gets cold in
the water and you can jump in,

head and into
the sauna, back out.

I mean that... I love that.
Rotem: Yes.

Scott: "Saw-nuh."

Scott and I...don't agree

on all the profit maximizers.

You love hot tubs.

Scott: The sauna
is a bonus for sure.

It doesn't draw any power.

maintenance costs.

Scott: You save some money,

Scott: The cabin exteriors
won't be complete

without some landscaping.

So we're giving the team
some greenery.

Savannah: The plants
have all arrived,

which I'm so excited about!

Scott: But because nothing comes
easy on Renovation Resort,

they'll have to out-hustle each
other for the ones they want.

Savannah: We have to kind of
fight for our plants.

It made me feel a
little bit nervous,

but I really want some
really beautiful ones

and so I'm just going
to have to do it.

Kyle: You go to the plants,
I'll get the wheelbarrow.

April: I'm ready to go.
Sean: Do what you got to do.

Savannah: Plants
have all arrived,

but we have to kind of
fight for our plants.

Arnold: I never

a trip to the nursery

Scott: The teams aren't the only
ones with gardening to do.

Bryan and I are planting trees

in the common areas
of the resort.

So we got 30 trees,
30 holes to dig.

Bryan: So you're going to

I'm just going to bring them

It's flower day.

I'm a landscaper's
daughter, which means

that I really, really
appreciate plants

I have since I was
a really young child.

I feel like flower day is
probably my favorite day.

In Arizona, my family
will plant every season,

so we call it 'Flower Day'.

I want to make sure
the prettiest side...

...is showing.

Gotta make my dad proud here.

It makes me miss home.

Our backyard is already a place

I built several

This is really
the only game I recognize.

Scott: We're going to take all
the games for a test drive

when we judge
your exterior spaces.

I really think that
a hot tub adds

so much to the guest experience.

So we went with a sauna.

Sean: In our outdoor space,
there's a lot of elements

that I have to attend to.

I am worried about the time.

So Jena is going to be
assemble the outside table.

Jena: I've never
made a table before!

But, sometimes you gotta
challenge yourself.

Scott: The two of you are

Scott: Just overall,
how are you feeling about

your neighbors

Jena: We've got
stiff competition.

People are not
here to play around,

and we've experienced
what it feels like to lose,

and we know that... we've
just got to be on our toes.

Scott: Jena and Sean, they are
determined to prove themselves.

They're making
their own furniture.

They're not spending
money on it.

We've seen them do this
in other challenges.

It's a great idea.

Savannah: The
pergola has arrived,

and I am so excited about it.

Kyle: 9.2 feet by 13.1...

Holy cow!

I'm pretty sure she
wanted this to fit like,

right over the hot tub.

I need to run this by Savannah.

This pergola is enormous.

It is significantly larger than
the footprint of this hot tub.

Puts it right about here.
Savannah: Oh, gosh, Kyle!

Man, I'm starting to get tired.

Kyle: So what you want to do?

Savannah: I don't know if
I have one more pivot in me.

I don't really know what
our options are at this point.

Savannah: It's not an option
to not use the pergola,

because I think
it's a wow factor.

We have come way too far to let
this pergola stop my vision.

If we have the stairs
for the hot tub here,

we can create
like an entrance.

Kyle: So, the excess pergola
will kind of be

the entrance of
the hot tub area.

Savannah: And I'm going to do
some really cool trees.

Another challenge,
but I'm going to

lean into it
as much as possible.

And so we're turning
these lemons into some lemonade.

I think, that's going to work.

Scott: This week's
bonus build is small,

but each one of these games
is an opportunity for the teams

to create another experience.

Bryan: We want this
to be something

that complements the space.

Scott: Jena and Shawn

We've kind of had this

how we thought of it.

Scott: You've brought
a Chicago vibe

into all of your
design elements,

so I'm trying to pick up on any
hints that I see out here.

Bryan: I feel like this
is going to look like

one of the signature
towers in Chicago.

Arnold: Come on!

trying to finish up this space.

And so, I'm just exhausted.

Oh, Kyle, this couldn't
have come at a better time.

I am exhausted.

Kyle: We're on the homestretch,
we're nearly done.

Savannah: We're getting there.
We've got so much work to do.

some sort of pergola here?

Kyle: Correct.

Savannah: The Pergola
is going to go over the hot tub,

Scott: Oh, nice.
and we are kind of
scrambling a bit

because the size was
a little bit different,

but we have come
up with the plan.

Scott: So your color
choice is on the exterior?

Savannah: Yes!
Bryan: Pretty bold.

Savannah: You guys know
by now, that I love color,

so I couldn't not do a color.

Bryan: Green!
Scott: I was expecting pink.

Savannah: There you go. Can you
imagine? Having some pink trim!

The more I see progress
with Savannah and Kyle,

the more I'm
buying into their theme.

Really whimsical,
but also elegant spaces.

Scott: It's the final day
of the exterior challenge

and the teams are
running out of time

to complete their cabins.

Sean: The element on the outside
that's going to set us apart.

is definitely the
pass-through window.

Jena: In the kitchen challenge,
we didn't take home that win.

However, out here,

the pass-through window
really comes to fruition.

Our main objective
is to bring the inside out.

So that starting with the
continuity of the lift up window

in the kitchen, continuing
to the outdoor space,

to the built-in barbecue setup.
Sean: Hold it right there!

Jena: What I'm hoping for
is that the judges see

the bigger picture here.

(power tool whirring)

Rotem:
Okay, you got it?

Troy: I'm feeling
very stressed out.

We're coming to the end.

Rotem: Yeah, I like that height.

Troy: But, I think
we need to push ourselves.

Whoa!
Rotem: No, come on!

Kyle: It doesn't
meet in the middle.

Savannah: This challenge
is truly gonna

come down to the wire.

Arnold: Here,
you come on this side.

I'll unroll it,
while I pull it up.

Coming to the end
of this challenge,

I'm looking down the cabin and
I'm seeing a lot of things

that I didn't
really think about.

Kyle and Savannah's cabin,
the pergola is a nice touch.

I am really concerned
that we didn't do enough

on the exterior.

Sean: What do I do?

April: It does make me
a little nervous that

the simplicity might not
be appealing to the judges,

but I'm hoping that the
design's gonna win them over.

Savannah: I'm really proud of
everything that we did here,

and I really wouldn't
change anything.

But it is in the
judges' hands now.

Rotem: Winning the exterior
would give us

three wins in a row.

Troy: I think we've done enough.

I'm cautiously optimistic
about this one.

Sean: We put a lot of effort
into this backyard.

I think we ticked all
the boxes on this one.

But at the same time, anything
can go in this competition.

Scott: Congratulations
on completing

the exteriors of your cabins!

Teams: (clapping/cheering)

Bryan: Now, it's time
for us to take a look.

To help us evaluate the
exterior of your cabins,

we've brought in
a legend of landscape design.

He's been helping people
elevate their outdoor spaces

for over two decades.

Introducing the man,
the myth, the legend,

and his little
dog too,

Carson Arthur.

Scott: And his little dog too!
Teams: (clapping)

Carson: And the little dog too!

Scott: Good to see you, Carson!

Carson: As you can see,
I brought some help today

because a lot of people,
when they're renting spaces,

they have to be family friendly,

and those include
the four-legged family members!

Scott: Bella's gonna choose
who's got the dog's breakfast

and whose work was the
'ruff-est.'

(laughter)

Carson: I hope your designs
are better than those jokes.

Scott: What is it you're going
to be looking for today?

Carson: I want a spot
that excites me.

So whether I come to the
front door and I'm like,

'I can't wait to get inside,'

or I get to the back
and I'm like,

'yeah, this is where I'm going
to spend my entire summer.'

Make me want to rent this space!

Scott: Beautiful. We have
a lot of places to go see.

Bryan: You want to go
for walk the walk? Walk?

Scott: I have feeling I'll be
looking at the 'roofs' first.

(groans)

Bryan: Welcome
to the Luxe Lodge.

Carson: Okay!

It's very elegant.

Bryan: This definitely sets

a tone for what
they've done inside.

It's very luxurious,
very rich, very dark.

The cabin focused on technology.
Carson: Okay.

Scott: I like the feature
color being brown up top.

Carson: I notice that there's
landscape lighting in the beds.

And when these plants grow up

and you hit that
lighting at night,

it's gonna actually
be quite stunning.

Bryan: Let's go around the back.

Scott: Wow!

I don't know if I
was expecting this.

Carson: Clean. It's sexy.

I feel like I have to be dressed
really well to be in the space.

Bryan: So none
of us are invited.

Scott: So they've nailed
it with the layout.

You got your lounging,
you've got your dining,

and then you've got
a living space.

The hot tub is a great decision.

Typically,
people are willing to pay

upwards of $50 a night extra
if there's a hot tub,

and it rents well all
through the winter.

They built a toppling
tower game here.

It's good, but these could have
been sanded down

a little better. You can tell
they were rushing.

This is something that should've
been down closer to the grass.

Carson: As a landscape designer,

this is clearly the design
of an interior designer.

Scott: Yeah.
Carson: Nothing is on the grass.

Even the potted plants
are on the patio,

so nothing's been pushed out.

And that would be
my biggest criticism.

Bryan: It almost feels to me

like they ran out
of budget right here.

Scott: Alright, let's see
what the neighbors are up to.

Kyle and Savannah's.

Carson: Look at the color!
Scott: Wow!

♪

Carson: Okay. For the record,
I'm going to say it

right up front, I hate green.
Bryan: Do you?!

Carson: It's just the one color
that I always associate

with old fishing cabins.
Scott: Which is what these were!

I'm loving seeing the finished
product of the pavers.

They've matched this
with their floors inside.

Carson: Oh, very cool!
Scott: So it's a little nod

to what you're gonna get inside.

Carson:
Everybody loves hydrangeas!

And the white against the brown

when they're in flower,
it's gonna pop!

Scott: Let's head around back.
Carson: Let's go, pup!

Bryan: All right.
She's very quiet.

She doesn't share her opinion.
Carson: No.

Scott: Wow! This is amazing!

This is why people
come here to vacation.

Carson: This is the type of
place I want to pull up,

let the dog go... I'm gonna spend

the rest of my
vacation right here.

Bryan: There's a ton of seating,

a ton of
entertainment potential.

They've got the hot tub here.

Scott: The shade over top of the
hot tub is a nice little change.

Honestly, I can't believe
I'm saying 'yay green!'

But it works in this space.

It all links together.
Scott: Yeah.

Carson: Things that
I'm not as excited about,

I find the umbrellas
throw me off a little bit.

My eye keeps going there.
You've gotta really think about

where the focal points
are, right?

And the focal points
should be this view.

Scott: There's one more thing
that we have to take

a closer look at.
The bonus build.

Bryan: Cornhole.

It matches the house!

Scott: (vocal buzzer sound)

Very different
from the other ones,

just because of that pop
of orange right away.

Just makes it more
interesting and intriguing.

Bryan: Their theme
is playful minimalism.

This is a theme that they've
carried through the cabin.

You just never know
what you're going to get.

Carson: I love that!

Scott: The landscaping gives you
a little California vibe.

Carson: It's a really cool
design perspective.

Scott: So let's head around.

Carson: It feels so much bigger

Like they've maximized
the outdoor space.

And even the wide steps.

Like that feels more inviting.

Carson/Scott: Yeah!

Bryan: You come to the cabin
to sit around,

roast a marshmallow,
this is great.
Scott: Campfire, yeah.

Bryan: I feel like there's
a lot of different things to do.

Carson: Like you're not
going to be bored in this unit.

I love it!
Scott: Absolutetly not!

Carson: I love that window.

Scott: This pass-through window.
Bryan: The awning's great!

Love that the inside
is connected to the outside.

Carson: The flow from there
to here, 100% makes sense.

Scott: I saw them making this
table. It's a little flimsy.

Carson: The table,
um, maybe not so good,

couple of other things
that I will

kind of give them some grief on,
there's no shade!
Bryan: Yeah.

Carson: So that would be
something that I'd be

a little concerned about,

but it's pretty spectacular!

Scott: They've taken it
to the next level.

here is Mediterranean flavor.

I'm not seeing a ton
of character up front.

Scott: They haven't
set up any seating.

Maybe there was an
opportunity for more.

I like the patio slabs,
you can get from the front

to the back without
walking on the grass.

Whoa!...Wow!

Carson: So this is totally
giving me spa vibes.

Scott: This is just a beautiful
piece of furniture.

Tons of seating.
It feels so cozy.

Bryan: It does look
very cozy and inviting.

What it doesn't say to me
is bring all your young kids

to the cabin and set them free.

Carson: No! It's very contained
again, it's very in one space.

I know they do
have this area here.

Bryan: The firepit
and some chairs,

I feel like that's
just plonked there.

Scott: There's something here
that is super different.

The sauna.
Carson: That is awesome!

Scott: Let's take a look.

Oh, this looks good. I like the
windows, you can see the lake!

Carson: You know the best part
about the sauna?

Bryan: That right there.

That's the best part,

So compared to a hot tub,
there is zero maintenance.

evolutions of these spaces

and to see everything
come to fruition,

it really is
a great final product.

Carson: First of all,
teams, wow!!

I mean, I'm blown away.
As a landscape designer,

I would have hired each
and every one of you,

for any one of my job sites.
They were fantastic!

Bryan: We can now see

that you've taken your
themes from the driveway

right in the front door,
into the kitchen,

the living room, upstairs
and into the backyard.

It's amazing to see that theme
carry all the way through.

Scott: Starting with
April and Arnold.

In terms of curb appeal,
I like that you introduced

the wood accent siding
on the top.

I thought it brought
some warmth. Out back,

I was immediately looking for
the technology pieces.

I was waiting for an intro video
or something to drop out of--

Where's the TV?
Arnold: April blew my budget.

Scott: (laughing)

Arnold: I really
had to scale back.

Carson: So, coming up
to the front of the space,

very clean, very pristine.

And then I walked
into the backyard,

and I'm like, I'm so
underdressed for this.

This is like the c*ck party
chic, and I loved it.

Bryan:
Inside was very luxurious.

Coming out the back, super
comfortable space, inviting.

What I didn't love...

...is that
that's where it ended.

You need something to draw
you down to the dock,

to the reason that
we're here for the water.

Scott: Savannah and Kyle.

You brought in the brown
on the exterior.

There's a certain nostalgia,

the black and white pavers.

Good choice, that was attached
to what you've done inside.

Out back, what you
did around the hot tub,

made it feel more
of an intimate experience

that made your hot tub section
a little more special.

Bryan: From day one, we've
always got this feeling

that your theme is about family,

and I think you nailed it
in the backyard here.

You've continued
that theme outside.

It looks warm and inviting.
The layout was great.

You invited us off of your deck
down towards the lake as well.

There's toys to play with there.
Yeah, I really liked it.

Carson: So Savannah and Kyle,

I loved kind of that
homey feel you created.

There was one misstep for me.

My eyes kept going to those
black and white umbrellas.

You know,
that's not the focal point.

Focal point should be the water.

So that was the only misstep.

Kyle: Thank you, Carson.

Scott: Jena and Sean,
I'm going to give you points

for creating something memorable

for the curb appeal.

The orange door,

even the plant selection
with some of the succulents.

Like when you walk up, it feels

like hot California vibes.

It's different. It feels

to me, like a real escape.

Bryan: What I love here,

you open that awning window,
it says, 'Get outside'.

You can sit and enjoy
that fireplace.

There's at least
ten different places

to sit and things
to do out there.

I mean, this is a
jam-packed backyard,

and I think you really
blew the top off this.

Jena/Sean: Thank you.
Jena: Appreciate that.

Carson: The dog's least
favorite of all the projects

was your outdoor shower.

But as a dog owner,
it was my most favorite!

I thought the outdoor
shower was fantastic!

There was one issue.
As soon as the sun came out,

I was looking for the spot
to sit with the shade

and there wasn't one.

You were so close
on ticking all the boxes.

That was the one that kind of
set me back a little bit.

Scott: Rotem and Troy,

your cabin is light, it's airy.

I love you've got a pathway
going all the way around.

It is connected
to the back of the cabin.

The only thing that I thought
was a missed opportunity

out front,
there was nowhere to sit down.

Bryan: I was very happy
to see the sauna.

Rotem: Yes!!

Bryan: I love them.
They extend the season.

That thing can sit there
for a hundred years,

it won't cost you a penny.

Carson: When I went
to the back, I'm like,

bring on the feta and the
olives, I was ready to go!

I got where you were
going with it. Loved it!

I didn't see it
in the front, though.

I saw it the color, but I didn't
see it in the landscaping.

There was nothing that
said me, 'Mediterranean.'

Scott: It is not lost on us
how hard it is

to get through
the biggest challenge,

after all the work that you've
already completed inside,

it is impressive!

And as usual,
this has been really difficult.

But that's why
we've got Carson here.

Carson: Any one of you
could have won this,

but at the end of the day,

the winner is...

because I've had my doubts

that's been hard to
capture for you guys,

but the two places that we
were able to win in,

are really where those themes
really stand out for us.

Every team has had
at least one win.
