Abuela: [off screen] Uno y dos...

y uno y dos... Iggy: [playing] Woooo!

Abuela: Now high knees-- alcen las rodillas!

Abuela: ¡Muy bien, muy bien!

Rosie: Phew! That was fun, Abuela!

I'm tired!

Abuela: What?

That was just the first part!

We have three more songs to dance to!

Rosie: [groaning] Abuela: [laughs]

[loud bell clanging]

Abuela: Oh - saved by the bell!

Rosie: A loud bell!

What is that, Abuela? [loud bell clanging]

Abuela: That's the bell for the garbage truck!

Iggy: Garbage twuck?!

Abuela: ¡Sí! Mira...

The garbage collector

rings the bell loudly,

so everyone knows the truck is here.

Then everyone brings their garbage to the truck!

Iggy: Woooow!

Abuela: Oh! I'd better bring my garbage out.

¡Adiós granitos de arroz!

Rosie: ¡Ciao bacalao!

Iggy, let's keep dancing!

♪ [dance music]

You too Gatita!

A bailar, a bailar!

♪♪♪ Iggy: Garbage truck!

♪♪♪ Rosie: Get those knees up!

♪♪♪ Iggy: Garbage truck!

Rosie: Garbage truck?!

[To Gatita] Which dance move was that?

Gatita: Meow meow meow.

Iggy: Iggy see Buela's garbage twuck?

Rosie: Ohhhh! Abuela had to go,

so we can't see the garbage truck anymore.

Iggy: [sad] Oh. Twuck go bye bye.

[sad sigh]

Rosie: Awww...

Iggy really loved that garbage truck.

I wish there was a garbage truck that came to our house,

so Iggy could see it.

Gatita: [yawns] Rosie: Hmmm-

Wait a truck-ma-doodle! Gatita: [startled meow!]

Rosie: There is a garbage truck that comes to our house!

Iggy: [excited gasp] Garbage twuck here now?

Rosie: Only one way to find out!

We need to go outside.

Iggy: Yay!

Rosie: [sing-songy] Oh garbage truck...

where are you...?

Iggy: Where ahhhhhh you?

Gatita: Meow Meow Meow?

♪ [curious music] ♪

♪♪

Rosie: Hm.

How can I get the garbage truck to come,

so Iggy can see it?

[to viewer] I've gotta know!

♪♪

[sings] ♪ I have a great big question, ♪

♪ And I just can't let it go! ♪

♪ Yo quiero saberlo. ♪

♪ I really gotta know! ♪

[speaks] How can I get the garbage truck

to come to our house?

Maybe...

[sings] ♪ I'll send a flock of birds

to bring it here, ♪

♪ A hundred flying seagulls bringing garbage cheer, ♪

♪ I'll play a flute with a magical tune, ♪

♪ and the truck will appear in a hot air balloon! ♪

♪♪

[dreamy] Garbage truck balloon...

Hm. The garbage truck comes

when there's garbage outside, right?

Gatita: Meow...

Rosie: So let's get some garbage!

♪ [slow playful music] ♪

Gatita: Meow? Rosie/Iggy: Oh! [grunts]

Gatita: Meow! Iggy: [Giggles]

Rosie: [grunting]

What is in here?

So heavy!

Rosie/Iggy: [grunting]

Rosie: Phew!

[sing songy] Oh garbage truck!

We have garbage for yooooouuuu.

No truck?! Hmmm...

Maybe we don't have enough garbage.

Rosie: Mom's office garbage.

♪♪

Iggy: Cwystal garbage.

♪♪

Rosie/Iggy: [grunting]

Rosie: Outside garbage.

♪♪

Flower pot garbage...

old shoe garbage...

yarn garbage...

Gatita: Meow Meow Meow!

Meow!

Rosie: Oh.

Gatita: [playful] Meow Meow Meow!

Rosie: [giggles]

[to viewer] Rosie's Rule:

Sometimes you think something is garbage...

but your cat thinks it's a toy.

Let's go back outside with this new garbage.

♪♪

Rosie: There. Now the garbage truck should come.

Because we have so much garbage!

Iggy: [excited gasp]

Rosie: [exasperated] Still no truck?

I don't think we have anymore garbage.

Gatita: Meow?

[sad] Meow.

Rosie: [touched] Awww!

Gracias, Gatita.

[honk-honk]

Rosie/Iggy: [gasp]

[noisy truck] [honk]

Rosie: It's coming! The garbage truck is coming!

Iggy: Yay! Garbage twuck!!

Rosie: [chanty] Oh yeah. The truck.

Is coming. Oh yeah-

[truck hissing/rumbling]

Rosie: [confused] Huh?

Hey, garbage truck. Over here!

Look at all the garbage we have for you!

Iggy: [yelling] Over here garbage twuck!

Gatita: Meow meow!

Rosie: If that truck isn't coming to us,

then we're gonna go to the truck!

♪♪

Wait! We need helmets!

♪♪

Iggy: Need Lote!

♪♪♪

Rosie: Oh! Need a grown up!

Papá: [confused] Where are we going again?

Rosie: [casually] Ah, just for a ride.

To the garbage truck.

Papá: Okay!

Wait, what?

Rosie: [gasps] It's...gone!

Iggy: See garbage twuck?

Rosie: Lo siento, Iggy.

I just don't know when it's going to come!

Iggy: [sad] Awww.

Rosie: [frustrated sigh]

I really wanted Iggy to see the garbage truck,

but I don't know when it will be here and --

I need to flop.

Iggy: Iggy flop too.

[flop]

Rosie: Breathe in.

[long inhale]

Breathe out.

[slow exhale]

Wiggle about.

♪♪

Now I'm ready to figure this out!

¡Vamos a ver!

[phone soft alarm]

Papá: Uh? Oh, time to get started on dinner!

Rosie: What's for dinner Papá?

Papá: It's...cha cha cha...

Tostada Tuesday!

Rosie: [gasps] ¡Tostadas! Iggy: ¡Tadas!

[record scratch]

Rosie: Why do we have Tostadas on Tuesday?

Papá: Well, because they're delicious... [chuckles]

And because that's our schedule.

Rosie: Our schedule?

Papá: Sí. Mira.

Papá: On Tuesdays we have tostadas for dinner.

Rosie: Whoa!

What else is our schedule?

Papá: Well on Wednesdays, you have soccer practice.

And on Thursdays, we go to the grocery store,

where we buy things like chicken

for the tostadas.

[sniffing]

Ay! The chicken!

Iggy: [sad] Nooooooo garbage twuck today.

Rosie: Hmmm.

[sings] ♪ If the schedule shows

♪ what we're gonna do, ♪

♪ Then maybe there's a schedule ♪

♪ for the garbage truck tooooo. ♪

♪ I'll find out when it's garbage truck day, ♪

♪ then we'll know when it's on the way! ♪

♪♪♪

♪ I had a great big problem. ♪

♪ Un gran problemón! ♪

♪ So I thought about it and figured it out, ♪

♪ And now I really know! ♪

♪ Ya sé...

♪ Hey, hey, I figured it all out today. ♪

♪ Whoa! Let's go!

♪ Cuz now I really know! ♪

♪ Now... I... ♪

♪ really... ♪

♪ knowwwwwww! ♪

Papá, does the garbage truck have a schedule?

Papá: ¡Sí! The garbage truck comes

to our street on Fridays.

Rosie: Fridays?

[excited gasp]

I have an idea!

♪♪ [humming]

♪ [triumphant music] ♪

Rosie: Mira, Iggy.

I made a sticker for the garbage truck to put on our schedule.

So we'll know when it will come!

Iggy: Yay!

♪ [playful music] ♪

♪♪

♪♪♪

Rosie: ¡Órale!

♪♪♪

♪♪♪

♪♪♪

Rosie: [gasps] Today's Friday and that means...

Rosie/Iggy: It's garbage day!

♪♪

[beep-beep] Rosie/Iggy: [gasp/giggle]

[ecstatic] Garbage truck!!

Woooooow...

[gasp]

Rosie: Good morning, good morning, Garbage Collector!

Lou: Call me Lou.

Rosie/Iggy: Hi Lou!

Lou: [to Iggy] Want to watch me put your garbage in the truck?

Iggy: Yes yesyesyes!

♪ [playful music] ♪

♪♪

[truck beeps/rumbles]

Rosie/Iggy: Woooooooooow.

Iggy: Yaaay!

♪♪

Lou: Ah! That's all of it!

Rosie: Thank you!

Iggy: [thank you] Garbage truck!

Lou: Garbage truck to you too! He he!

[to viewer] Rosie's Rule: A schedule helps you know

when things are going to happen.

Like when it's garbage day!

[truck starts/drives off]

Rosie/Papá: Bye garbage truck!

Iggy: Bye garbage twuck! I love you!

Rosie: Best...

Garbage...

Day...

Ever!

Rosie: "Crystal's Sneezy Day!"

Crystal: A-choo! Gatita: [startled meows]

Rosie: [off screen] [dragging grunts]

[grunts]

Here's your easel, Crystal.

Crystal: Thanks, Rosie!

Ready to take all this art stuff outside?

Rosie: I'm ready!

Ummm, why are we taking this art stuff outside again?

Crystal: Because it's the first day of Spring!

The flowers are blooming,

the leaves are rustling...

So I'm gonna go outside and make a painting

of all the cool nature I find.

Rosie: Wowmazing!

Rosie: [grunts] Can we go find nature now? This is very heavy!

Crystal: [chuckles] I'll take that.

Crystal: Okay, now I think the best way to find nature is to-

Look...

listen,

and smell. [long inhale]

Rosie: Look... listen...

and smell. [long inhale]

Crystal: Perfect! Let's do this.

Oh!...

A-choo!

Rosie: ¡Salud! Crystal: Ah. Thank you.

Gatita: Meow!

Crystal: Ah - ah - ah achoo!

Rosie: You seem kind of...sneezy.

Crystal: That's another thing about Spring.

It brings out pollen, and that makes me---

A-choo!

Sneeze.

Rosie: Oh no!

But we can still look for nature, right?

Crystal: Of course!

Ah-choo!

Not a problem.

Ah-choo!

Barely even notice it!

Ah- ah- aaaah...

choooooo!

Gatita: [MEOW! ]

Rosie: [to viewer] Rosie's Rule:

Sometimes a sneeze

can make your cat jump! [giggles]

Crystal: [stuffed up] This isn't gonna work.

I should really stay inside.

Rosie: But, what about finding nature?

And your painting?

Crystal: If I can't go outside,

I guess, I won't be able to make my painting after all.

[sigh]

Rosie: Aww! Crystal was so excited

to make her nature painting.

But now she can't go outside because she's too sneezy!

Crystal: [off screen] Ah-choooo! Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: Bless you! Crystal: [off screen] Thank you!

Rosie: Hmmmm.

If Crystal can't go outside and find nature...

maybe I can bring nature to her!

Then she can still make her painting!

Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: I wonder what wowmazing nature I'll find?

[to viewer] I've gotta know!

[sings] ♪ I have a great big question, ♪

♪ And I just can't let it go! ♪

♪ Yo quiero saberlo. ♪

[speaks] What kind of nature will I find?

Maybe...

[sings] ♪ I'll find leaves on a rainbow-colored tree ♪

♪ Or a bucketful of water ♪

♪ from the sparkly sea ♪

♪ Or maybe I'll find a silly toad, ♪

♪ Who lives in a shoe on a twisty road! ♪

[giggles]

[dreamy] Toad in a shoe...

¡Vámonos Gatita!

Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: It's time to find nature!

¿Lista, Gatita?

Gatita: Meow meow!

Meow!

Rosie: Recuerda.

We need to look...

listen...

and smell...

[deep inhale]

Gatita: Meow...Meow...

[big sniff] Meow!

Rosie: Look, listen, smell!

[sniff sniff]

Look, listen, smell!

[sniff sniff]

Ooo, a tree is nature...

Nah. Too big.

[crackle]

Rosie: [gasps] A pretty leaf is nature too!

[wind gust]

Hey!

[strong wind blows]

My nature just blew away!

[sniff sniff sniff]

[gasps] Gatita...

I smell something sweet...

[sniff sniff] and flowery...

♪♪

Rosie/Gatita: [sniffs]

Rosie: [gasp] It's a sweet-smelling purple flower!

This is perfect nature to bring to Crystal!

Jun: Hiya, Rosie!

Ooo, pretty flower!

Rosie: Thank you, I found it with my nose!

I'm gonna bring it to Crystal for her nature painting!

Jun: Uhhhhhhh, Rosie-

Rosie: Yeeees?

Jun: My Yeye says flowers should stay in the ground.

So they can keep growing and help make new flowers.

Rosie: Oh.

Well, maybe just one flower will be okay--

Jun: And to make sure there's food for insects and bugs!

Rosie: Sure, but maybe--

Jun: And so everyone else can enjoy them.

Rosie: [sigh]

[to viewer] Rosie's Rule:

There are lots of reasons

not to pick a flower.

Maybe I'll look for other nature to bring to Crystal.

Bye Jun! Jun: See ya Rosie!

[sniff/exhale]

Rosie: There's got to be naturey-nature back here.

[sing songy] Oh nature...?

¿Dónde estásssss?

Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: [gasps]

You have nature on your nose!

Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: Maybe I can bring this little guy to Crystal!

Heeeere butter-butter-butterfly!

¡Ahí viene!

[chanty] ♪ Oh yeah. Here comes. The butterfly. ♪

♪ Oh yeah-- Oh yeah. ♪

♪ There goes. The butterfly. ♪

♪ Oh yeah-- [record scratch] Huh...?

Where's it going?

♪♪

Awww!

He's in the butterfly garden!

The butterfly garden is so good for butterflies.

It's where they eat and drink and rest and...

Wait a butter-madoodle!

Butterflies can't come inside,

cause they need the outside garden!

Gatita: Meow.

Rosie: I think I'm running out of nature.

[to viewer] I need to call Abuela.

♪♪

♪ [calling chimes] ♪

Rosie: ¡Hola...

¿¿Abuela?? !

Abuela: ¡Hola mi niña!

Pérame tantito.

I'm cleaning my phone...

There! ¿Qué pasa?

Rosie: I'm looking for nature to bring to Crystal

for her painting.

I saw a tree, a leaf, a flower, and a butterfly.

But I don't know what other nature there is!

Abuela: Mira, Rosalía.

Nature is anything

that isn't made by people.

It's living things, like flowers and trees.

And non-living things

like rocks and pinecones...

[gust of wind] [gasp] Even wind!

Rosie: Wind is nature? !

[to viewer] Well, that's new information!

Abuela: I'd better get my hat.

¡Adiós, granito de arroz!

Rosie: ¡Ciao bacalao!

Gatita...

What if I brought wind to Crystal?

That would be the best nature ever!

Gatita: Meow!

Rosie: Gotcha!

Uh? Or not...

♪♪

[to viewer] Rosie's Rule:

If you try to catch wind in your hands,

you probably can't.

Hm, I guess I can't bring wind to Crystal either...

[crunch]

But I can bring her a pinecone!

Or lots of pinecones!

Papá: [into phone] Your tomato plant?

Uhm. No, I don't see anything yet.

¿Qué pasa calabaza?

Rosie: ¡Nada empanada!

I'm just bringing all these pinecones to Crystal

so she can make her nature painting!

Papá: I see.

But...what about the squirrels?

Rosie: Squirrels? Gatita: Meow?

Papá: Sí. Squirrels love to eat pinecones.

So if you bring those inside,

what will they have for a snack?

Rosie: Do they like... cheesy popcorn?

Gatita: Meow?

Papá: I'm afraid not.

[squirrel chitters]

Rosie/Gatita: [sad sigh]

Rosie: [sadly] Here you go, little squirrel.

Come have your pinecone snack.

[happy squirrel chittering]

It seems like there isn't any nature I can bring inside.

Papá: Well mija, usually, it's better for the environment,

if you leave nature outside as you found it.

[phone rings]

Papá: Hola cielo.

Check again? Alright...

Rosie: [sad sigh] I wanted to bring nature to Crystal,

but I can't because nature should stay outside

and... I need to flop.

[flops]

Breathe in. [inhales]

Breath out. [exhales]

Wiggle about.

Now I'm ready to figure this out!

¡Vamos a ver!

Papá: [off screen] Mija! ¡Ven acá!

Rosie: What is it Papá?

Papá: Mom's jitomate plant.

I didn't see it at first but look!

It's starting to grow! Rosie: Uuuuh.

Papá: I'm gonna take a picture and send it to her,

so she can see it.

Rosie: A picture?!

Hmmm...

[sings] ♪ When Papá had to leave the plant alone, ♪

♪ He decided to take ♪

♪ a picture on his phone ♪

♪ So I can take pictures of things that I see ♪

♪ For Crystal to use in her nature painting! ♪

♪♪♪

♪ I had a great big problem. ♪

I figured it all out today. ♪

Gatita, let's take pictures of nature for Crystal!

Gatita: Meow meow!

Rosie: [off screen] Crystal! Crystal!

Crystal, guess what?!

I went on a nature walk...

with Gatita!

Crystal: [excitedly] You did! What did you see?

Tell me everything!

Rosie: [playfully] Instead of telling you,

what if I show you?

Crystal: Wow!

Look at the cute little butterfly!

Ooooh, and the beeeautiful flower!

Rosie: You can use the pictures to make your painting.

And I can leave nature like I found it!

Crystal: Thank you, Rosie.

You're the best little sister in the whole wide world!

Rosie: [giggles]

Crystal: Ooooh! This pinecone picture

is giving me an idea...

Rosie: [to viewer] Rosie's Rule:

It's better to leave nature outside where you found it.

But you can bring pictures of nature anywhere!
