My friends wanna play.

I'll get it all done.

We stayed in a hotel and it had a pool.

And a restaurant.

Oh and even one of those bell thingies at the front desk.

I wish I could go back there.

There is a hotel in Skillsville.

- I totally knew that.

Let's do it!

To the telepuddle!

[grunting]

[triumphant music]

[electronic music]

[gasping] [all]: Oh!

[Beeples screaming]

- Whoa, what's happening here?

- Well, the Beeples are trying to build a cardboard box tower,

but there's a problem with their robot.

- That's a robot?

- Oh yeah. A Robo Buildo Bot.

It's supposed to help build that box tower,

but instead the robot is malfunctioning

and the Beeples need someone to help.

- So Devosaurus?

Think you've got the skills to get the job done?

- Yes! This is my chance to really learn how to fix robots.

- Then you're gonna need... this!

[triumphant music]

- Cool!

What is it?

[Cora]: It must control the robot.

- I wonder what all the buttons do.

- Robotics Technician Challeng:

Troubleshoot the problem.

- "Troubleshoot"?

- Figure out what's wrong with the robot.

[Dev, Rae]: Oh!

- Look! All those missing boxes

are making the tower really wobbly.

- We'd better put some boxes back in place

so the tower doesn't fall.

- Okay, you can do that while I try to fix the robot.

- We're on it.

[grunting]

- Got this one.

- Put it on the side.

[ding]

This one goes here.

[ding]

[grunting]

Got it!

In it goes.

[ding] Done!

- These buttons must do something,

but I'm not sure what to press.

I guess I'll just try one.

[ding]

[dissonant music] [robot whirring]

Oh no!

- The robot is going faster.

- We've got to put boxes back even faster

before the tower falls over.

Come on!

[beeping]

[dinging]

[Dev]: Uh-oh!

- I don't think we can keep up.

- The tower is starting to lean!

[grunting]

- What do I do?

I don't know how to fix this. I need to pause!

- Whoa!

- What happened?

- Looks like I pressed the button

that made the robot speed up.

But I don't know what button to press.

- Don't give up, Dev.

- Yeah, it's good to keep trying.

- That's what my Nani said.

She kept trying with one of her recipes

using the process of elimination.

She tried something and if it didn't work,

she ruled it out and tried something else

until she figured it out.

- That is a good strategy.

- Maybe I can do that.

With these buttons!

I'll give it a try.

Unpause!

[Beeples panicking]

[grunting]

- Can't hold it much longer.

- I've got you, Scout.

[grunting]

[grunting]

[ding] - Ah!

Whoo. Tanks.

- I know this button makes the robot go faster,

so I can move that out.

If round buttons control the speed,

then by the process of elimination,

the only other round button that can make the robot go slower

is this one.

[robot beeping]

[robot whirring]

- Phew. The robot's not going so fast now.

- But it's still taking the tower apart

instead of building it.

- It's like the robot is running the wrong program.

Maybe that's what the square buttons are for.

Different programs for the robot.

Button two is lit up.

The program for building the tower

must be one of these other two buttons.

So let's go with program three.

[robot whirring]

[upbeat music]

- It worked! The robot stopped taking the tower apart.

[Beeples panicking]

- But it's smashing the boxes instead.

- So if the program to build the tower isn't button three,

or button two,

then by the process of elimination,

it's gotta be button one!

[robot whirring]

[ding]

[cheering]

- You figured out the right program.

- Way to troubleshoot right out of trouble.

Level Complete.

- Ah, now the Robo Buildo Bot can build the box tower

with no problem.

[dissonant music]

[Beeples panicking]

[Cora]: Uh-oh. Something else is wrong with the robot.

- Robotics Technician Challenge Level Two:

Repair the robot.

- But I don't know how to repair robots.

That's why I'm playing this game.

So I can learn how.

- Uh, the robot is getting closer to the tower.

If it hits, the whole thing can come crashing down.

[tense music] [Beeples panicking]

- I'm not sure I can fix it.

- You've gotta stay focused and keep trying.

- What about using your strategy?

- Right, I'll try the process of elimination again.

Button one is still lit up.

So it's not a problem with the programming.

We can rule that out.

[Scout shouting]

[yelping nervously]

- Maybe the robot is spinning because it's trying

to avoid the broken boxes?

- That could be it.

Let's clear away the broken boxes and see if that helps.

[upbeat music]

[ding]

- That's all the broken boxes.

- Let's see if the robot can roll straight now.

- Here's a box. Come and get it.

[robot whirring]

[screaming]

- Whoa! - Ah...

It's still spinning.

- So I guess the problem wasn't the broken boxes on the ground.

We can rule that out.

- So what is wrong with the robot?

- Well, if it's not a problem with the programming...

And it's not a problem outside the robot,

then by the process of elimination

it must be a problem with the robot itself.

- Maybe it's the wheels.

When something jams one of my wheels,

it makes my wheelchair spin.

Like this.

- But how will we know if there's a jam?

The robot's wheels are underneath it.

[Scout shouting]

- Is someone gonna stop this thing?

- I think I know what to do.

Scout! Fly up with the bot.

[upbeat music]

I see the problem.

And I think I can fix it with one big...

Dino leap! [grunting]

[grunting] I got it.

There was a piece of cardboard box stuck in the robot's wheel.

- Hey, Scout, let's see if that did the trick.

- Hey, got a box here.

[upbeat music]

[ding] [Dev]: It works!

[Beeples cheering] - Robot Repaired.

Way to think outside the box!

Robotics Technician Challenge Complete!

- Yes!

- Sweet! - Nice job, Dev.

- I knew if you kept trying you could do it.

- Now the robot can build the rest of this tower.

I am dog-tired.

- We'll see ya next time, Scout.

- Bye. - See ya, Scout.

- Later, Gamers.

- Ah, I see you're done with your game.

Would you like another pakora?

- Yes! But first I wanna try to fix my robot again.

And this time I'll use the process of elimination.

Just like you did, Nani.

- Ah! Very good.

- Let's see.

It's not working so maybe the batteries ran out.

- I just put in fresh batteries yesterday.

- Oh, so we can rule that out.

[gasps] Maybe if I turn it off

and turn back it on, that will fix it.

- That does work sometimes.

- Okay. Let's see.

Off. On.

Nope. It's still not working.

So process of elimination, we can rule that out.

- What else could it be, I wonder.

- Maybe something's stuck in the gears?

Or... wait a minute! What's this?

Looks like... a string!

It's wrapped around the robot's legs.

- Ah-ha!

- I think I just figured out the problem.

And to fix it, I just have to pull off this string. And...

[robot whirring]

It worked! I did it!

- Well done, Dev. I'm glad you kept trying.

- Me too.

Now I'll have another pakora to celebrate.

Maybe ParCora would like a pakora too.

And Racer Rae! [laughing]
