We fool ourselves

that we can control them,
cage them.

And then a monster
unshackles itself,

and it sneaks into your home,

he turns out the lights.

[suspenseful music]



- [squawks]





- For Christ's sakes, Gene.
Where have you been?

Taking a tinkle?

This man's home
was under as*ault.

- Chief, I was securing
the perimeter.

- Well, I'd check the perimeter

It's a homicide cop's dream
