so we can get

It will be even cooler

when we build one big enough
to see the night sky.

and it's over the moon.

Let's imagine
the best telescope

for viewing the Looney Moon.

We'll need a big tube
to look through

so we can see the sky.

And a base to keep it
nice and sturdy.

Let's not forget
the very important lens.

It will make
the faraway things look near.

[metal clangs]

How about a big,
moon-viewing bean bag chair?

[both gasp]

The design is ready.

Now, we need to work quickly.

It will be dark soon.

Um, I'm kinda
afraid of the dark.

It's okay, Tweety.

We'll have our vehicle
headlights on,

and we'll be with you
the whole time.

You can use my flashlight.

It always keeps me
feeling safe.

Don't worry, Tweety.

Our vehicles will help

Then let's build
this telescope.

First, we'll start
with the big tube.

[metal crunching]

This tube is rolled and ready.

Just need to add the fixins.

[clangs and pops]

[taps]

[squeaks]

Now to build the base.

[whirs]

to keep things steady.

Great. Next, we need
to place the tube on top.

You're up, Tweety.

[Tweety humming nervously]

Oh. [chuckles]

Just making sure
the flashlight works.

[all yelp]

There's nothing you can't do!

-[Daffy munching]

It just keeps getting darker.

This flashlight isn't
bright enough.

Now this is a bright idea.

And that, my friend,
is how the lens works.

[gobbling and chewing]

I'm sorry.

be careful around it.

-The lens can
break very easily.
-[vehicle approaching]

-[grunts]

Ooh.

[groaning and grunting]

The lens is okay.

[both gasp]

-[lens cracking]

My lens! It's ruined.

I'll have to make
a new one and fast.

Uh, while you're at it,

mind throwing in another pizza?

[grumbling]

Sorry, crew.

I was just trying
to brighten things up.

I'm still afraid of the dark.

You can leave the lights up.

We don't want you to be afraid.

The lens is repaired

and I'll be
installing it myself.

-[lens clinks]
-[laughing]

It's almost moon-viewing time.

Luckily, all that's left
is the big beanbag chair.

First, we need
to cut the fabric.

[whirring]

Okay, Porky. Sew 'em together!

My pleasure.

Go ahead and dump
the beans, Daffy.

-Whoo-hoo!
-[yelps]

The Looney Moon
is about to rise.

Just in the stitch of time.

[Wile E. giggling]

Eh, where's Tweety?

Hi, Wile E.

-[screams]
-[telescope creaking]

[thuds]

My telescope.

It's broken.

[gasps] Oh, no!

Sorry.

What happened, Tweety?

I was trying
to brighten things up more

by using my flashlight.

But it blinded Wile E.

I wish I wasn't
afraid of the dark.

The dark doesn't
have to be scary.

Especially if you focus
on all the things you can see.

Like the stars.

And the moon,

which should be
rising any minute now.

-[Daffy grunts]
-[Wile E.] Hmm.

I'll be brave
so we can get the job done.

That's the spirit.

Let's fix this telescope!

First, we gotta get
the telescope untangled.

[Lola] The stand is fixed.

The tube has landed.

-[lens clinks]
-And the lens is in position.

We can take down the lights.

I think they've caused
enough problems.

[all agreeing]

I... I... I'll just
keep my flashlight.

Ooh, the stars are so sparkly.

This isn't so bad.

I wonder what the sky
looks like up close.

Ah! There it is.

The Looney Moon!

Tweety, why don't you
have the first look?

It's so pretty!

I always thought
the dark was scary,

but it's actually beautiful.
