when the Spring Chicken
gets here.

What does the Spring Chicken
look like?

Is she-- Is she bigger than
a regular chicken?

No one has ever seen
the Spring Chicken
in real life.

All we know is that she comes
every Spring Chicken Day,

which is today!

It's just not Spring until
the Spring Chicken arrives.

And best of all,

she leaves
beautiful colored eggs

for anyone who puts out
a basket.

[gasps]

And I'm done!

Let's put our baskets
by the window

for the Spring Chicken
to find.

[all cheering]

Phillip and I have been
looking forward to Spring

so we can play outside.

I wanna chase butterflies.

I wanna ride my bike
with the sparkly decorations.

I want Spring so I can plant
beautiful flowers.

[meowing]

Today is Spring Chicken Day,

but it sure doesn't
look like it.

Yeah, it's so cold
and windy.

You don't think
bad weather will keep

the Spring Chicken away,

What if she can't even tell
it's Spring?

any eggs this year?

The Spring Chicken
will come!

But if it doesn't
look like Spring,

it's time to bring her eggs?

We'll let her know.

We can't make it feel
like Spring outside,

but we can make it
feel like Spring inside!

This was Summer, Fall,
Winter, and... Spring!

This is what Spring
looks like.

We just have to make it
look like this in here.

That'll take
a lot of green plants,

and there's plenty
in the greenhouse.

It's starting
to feel like Spring.

It's nice and green.

enough like Spring yet?

Sunshine and rainbows

are a sure sign
of Spring.

have to make our own.

We've brought
baby animals

to make it seem
even more like Spring.

animals are born,

because that's when
more food starts to grow.

I brought my little
Catapillar buddy.

And I've got Phillip.

He's my baby.

I'll get Baby Herman.

Nothing says "Spring"
like a baby iguana.

[meow]

If our chicks
think it's Spring,

maybe the Spring Chicken
does too.

[gasps]

of the Spring Chicken.

gotten here by now.

We did everything

isn't coming after all.
