We didn't get stuck in these instruments

because of the number . We got stuck

because we were running around totally scared!

We all need to take a deep breath

and count backwards from five to calm down.

- Now from eight.

- Do you know how many numbers we just counted all together?

- And nothing happened!

- Peg's right. You got covered in bagels and mud

for the same reason we got stuck in these instruments.

but my heart has always been in my caboose.

- Looks like everybody's on board, so go ahead, Cat,

- Inspector Ramone? What are you doing here?

- And why are you keeping me from pulling my whistle?

- Sorry, Cat, but I've been hot on the trail of a thief

who might be on this train. (all gasping)

- We'll keep a lookout for any suspicious behavior, Inspector. - Do what you can.

- Well, what are you waiting for, Cat? Pull that whistle! - Oh goody, goody, goody!

(whistle) Finally!

- ♪ We're gonna choo-choo out ♪

♪ Of Chattanooga on our way to Katmandu ♪♪

- Ooh! Are those lemon lollies?

- Sorry, I can't give you one. I need all .

- I sure love to lick lemon lollies!

- Whoa! There are boulders all over the tracks up ahead!

- (Marie Curie): And our train is heading right towards them!

- This is a BIG PROBLEM!

Luckily, the Peg Plus Cat Express has special abilities.

If Cat pushes the steering lever up, the train can go above them.

- (all): Ludwig van Beethoven! (dramatic music) - What? Why me?

- Your love of licking lemon lollies led you to larceny, Ludwig!

- Doodles of poodles! Nice! (clown honking)

- The thunderstorm blew trees and rocks onto the tracks!

Phew! That was nerve-wracking. - Is everyone OK?

- Okeydokey! - Except for those bumps woke up all my chicks!

(snoring) Uh... almost all of 'em.

- (all): It's Mac! - Huh?

Well, it's past my bedtime, so I took a little snooze!

- But if you're here, then who's wearing your hat back there?

(gasping) - Big Mouth?! - Eek!

- (Cat): It's all the missing stuff!

- But how could Big Mouth have stolen all of this without anyone seeing him?

- Because he's quick! - Inspector Ramone!

- Congratulations, Peg! You've found the thief I've been looking for!

- But why did he do it? - And how? - Simple.

♪♪ Marie Curie had no reason to worry ♪

♪ With her little yellow lollipop bouquet ♪

♪ But when she turned her back, he decided to subtract ♪

it must have been Toad! - Yeah, that's him!

- So Toad is our thief.

- (all): Whoa!

- We're going up Double Big Mountain!

It's twice as big as regular Big Mountain.

We need more apples. - How many?

- It took two apples to get the train over Big Mountain,

so we need to double the number of apples.

Doubling means adding a number to itself.

Two apples plus another two apples equals...

one, two, three, four apples.

- Coming right up!

We know you took the Puffmais prize. Fess up! Fess up!

- We were standing at the buffet table

snacking on the snacks... - Which were delicious.

- But very salty.

- So we came back for some pink lemonade.

- If Mac, Toad and the Neighbour Ladies didn't steal the prize...

- Here's your lemonade, ladies. - (all): Richard!

(thunder) - Oh, hi, everybody.

- But if you want to paint squares, why'd you take all those other shapes?

- Because... as I will demonstrate with the shapes I borrowed from the greats...
