[Harry]
This place is gorgeous!

What's wrong with it?

Why's it so cheap?

Diarmuid here owes me a favour.

What did you do,
give him a kidney?

He knows what he did!

I said sorry!

This is a no-brainer,
Harry. We've gotta take it.

Plus, we can't keep meeting

prospective clients
in the goose.

Why not?

Glenn is introducing
afternoon karaoke for starters.

For god sakes, Glenn!

Harry, I've been tasked
with great responsibility.

June's relying on me

and I will not let her down.

Between us...

there's bit of a spark
between me and her.

I think I'm in there.

You do realise
June is g*y, right?

Is she?

Well, that explains
why she's always kissing women.

[sighs]
Oh, well.

Look, Harry, the
agency's already making

more than enough
to afford this place.

Especially with this price.

And we could have a secretary.

Secretary?

My Petra's looking
for a new job, as it happens.

Got fired from Lidl.

Just 'cause she took a
couple of things home with her.

They were almost
out of date anyway.

Well, maybe not the gin...

or the power tools.

So will I tell her to
come in for an interview?

No!

Fair enough.

What d'ya say?

Well, I suppose at this
price, it would be crazy not to.

Mr. Creely, you have a deal.

[scoffs]

Are we even now?

Not even close.

Uh...

[Charlie]Okay,
Vicky, you're in charge.

[Vicky] Francis McCluskey.

Fifty-three years old,
Wicklow resident.

Cause of death
is pretty obvious.

We have a person of interest.

[clicks fingers]
Jord.

Ben Finnegan.

Dead man's business partner.

Property developers.

Legit as far as we can tell, but
both men have criminal records.

Er...

mostly small time for Finnegan.

A little jail time for receiving
and some minor drug offences.

McCluskey did six years
for armed robbery.

That was fifteen years ago

but he seems to have
been clean ever since.

The day before McCluskey
was k*lled, he was

heard having a heated
argument with Finnegan.

Witness couldn't say what it was
about, but with McCluskey dead,

Finnegan gets
all of the business.

That's motive.

Er... earlier, Wicklow went to

bring him in for further
questioning, but he ran.

They think he
might have come here.

Finnegan's a dub.

He'll know people here.
Let's go find him.

Good job, Vicky.

[instrumental music]

What was that all about?

Hi, Orla.

[suspenseful music]

I need your help.

Oh!

[sighs]

What happened?

Is it Charlie?

Er, no. Nothing like that.

I need...

I need...

I need...

To borrow some butter?

A kick up the arse?
A dictionary? Just...

Your help.

Oh.

Well, then I suppose
you'd better come in.

[soft music]

[muffled giggle]

There's something
I've not told you.

I've not told anyone.

You're a high-class escort?

What?

Well, maybe not that high class.

But you do have had a bit of
a dominatrix-y feel about you.

I have not!

I had a boyfriend.

- Recently?
- No!

- When I was nineteen.
- Oh.

His name's Ben Finnegan
and he's in trouble.

Oh...

His business
partner was m*rder*d

and the guards are
looking at him for it.

But when they went
to pick him up, he ran!

Well, that's not very
clever of him, is it?

No. There's more.

The person who k*lled his
partner is a hitman from Spain.

Calls himself
El Cazador, the hunter.

He uses a crossbow.

Oh, very theatrical.

So, er, has Ben told
the guards about this?

Oh, no. You and I know
how guards think.

So, what do you want me to do?

I just want you to meet him.
To hear him out.

Oh, I know him, Harry.
He's not a k*ller.

[sighs]

Please, will you do
this? For me?

- That depends.
- Uh-huh.

Tell me why you don't
want Charlie to know about him?

Do I have to?

Ah, now you've said that,
yes, you do.

And it had better be juicy.

Oh...

[instrumental music]

Erm...

Yeah...

Well, er, okay. Erm...

When Ben and I were
a couple, we went inter-railing

and, er, we financed the trip...

by selling weed.

And then I might have got

arrested a little bit...

Yeah.

Erm... I didn't hear that.

Hm?

I might have got arrested
a little bit in Germany.

Oh!

Well, I can't believe
what I'm hearing!

I mean, I never imagined

that you'd ever do anything
half as interesting as that.

[sighs]

I told Ben to lay low
while I spoke to you.

Will you meet him?

[sighs]

Well, if I'm gonna do this...

Oh...

Tell him to meet me
here in an hour.

Oh... one more thing.

Can you please keep
Fergus out of this?

Er... I'm sorry, but no.

He's my partner.

If I'm gonna do
this, I'll do it with him.

That isn't up for debate.

But what if he tells Lola?

[sighs]
He wouldn't.

You're wrong about him.

Besides, they don't
see each other anymore, do they?

Do they?

Do you think your mam's ever
gonna change her mind about me?

Hmm... don't count on it.

[laughs]

Not big on changing
her mind, my mother.

How's things
going with your mam?

[exhales]

Going.

She's, er, managed
to persuade Malky

to sit down for peace talks.

So, er, we'll see.

[laughs softly]

[soft music]

See ya.

Later, skaters.

[phone buzzes]

We have an office.

The hunter's real name
is Alejandro Miralles.

Works for a businessman,
Rubén Orantes.

Francis knew him,

set up a meeting in Madrid,
a potential partnership.

I meet him, I smile politely.

As soon as were out
of there, I say to Francis,

what the f*ck?
We cannot be getting

into bed with
Don bleeding Corleone

but Francis goes to
a party this guy's throwing.

I stay at the hotel.

Then Francis comes home early
and he's all jittery.

Wants to leave.

He's already
changed our flights.

I kept asking him,
what's going on?

But he wouldn't tell me.

Then he's dead and
I get a call from this hunter.

Says he wants me to return
what it is Francis and I stole,

or else there's an arrow
with my name on it.

Then I find this

in my front door.

[Harry]
Ben Finnegan.

Well, if you've got
the arrow with your

name on it, he can
hardly k*ll you with it.

I'm guessing he has a spare.

Did you and Francis
steal from him?

No! Well... I mean, yes.

Francis did, I think.

But I don't know what.

So you're trying to find
something that you

don't know what it is

and you don't know where it is.

I think you're best
off asking the guards.

Oh, no, the guards
won't protect me.

They want to lock me up.

My only hope is to find out
what it is Francis stole

and give it back.

Look, I'm sorry for
bringing this to your door,

I just don't
know what else to do.

I read about you two,
saw the connection with Orla...

So, how do we start looking?

I've searched everywhere Francis
might have stashed something.

The only place
I've not looked is his house.

His wife, Maura, hates me.

Thinks I was a bad influence.

If only she knew.

Francis did six years
for armed robbery,

which he never told her about.

And neither did the spirits.

What does that mean?

Well, she's a...
you know, she's a kook.

Into psychics
and tarot and all that shite.

Trust me, if you turn up
saying you're there to help me,

she'll slam
the door in your face.

Well, we have
to start somewhere.

Your connection to Orla
is 20 years old,

so, it's unlikely El Cazador

will be able
to track you to her,

which means that he won't
be able to track you to us.

Unless he has
a tracking device on him.

You know,

like a phone.

Oh, good point.

If you'd be so kind.

Er...

Don't leave,
don't go near any windows.

Oh, just one more thing.

Can you tell me
something personal

about Maura and Francis?

Orla used to go out
with that fella

but I'm not good
enough for her daughter.

[scoffs]
Bit bloody rich that.

Anyway, why are we
helping this guy again?

Because there's a crazy guy
with a crossbow running

around Dublin, and more people
are gonna die if we don't.

Oh, and you can't
tell Lola any of this.

Like I'd do that!

Though I am
about to lie to a widow

and I'm not happy
about that either.

Well, it's a white lie.

Mm, whitish.

Is this our
third or fourth widow?

[doorbell rings]

I've lost count.

[Fergus clears throat]

Is your name Maura McCluskey?

Yeah.

What's it about?
This really isn't a good time.

This is gonna sound
a bit odd, but my aunt,

she has a message for you.

It's from Francis.

He's here!

What? Who's here?

Francis?

Francis, is that you?

[in deep voice]
Yes, bunny.

Francis!

[in deep voice]
Reveal what is hidden.

What, what does that mean?
What's hidden?

He wants us to follow him.

Ah...

He wants us to go
into the toilet?

He passed through the wall.

Into the utility room?

- Into his study?
- Mm-hm.

My Francis was a good man.

He used to be
a missionary, you know?

He did?

long before I met him.

In the Amazon.

Lived with a tribe

in the middle of the
rainforest for years.

Was it about six years?

It was.

He's speaking to you!

Francis, can you hear me?

[in deep voice]
Reveal what is hidden.

Ooh!

I don't know about
anything hidden.

A safe?

Not here.

He's got one at the office.

Ooh...

[Maura]
Francis was a doodler.

[Fergus]
A crossbow.

He did it all the time
when he was thinking.

Francis says that's the hunter.

Well, who's the hunter?

He knew he was coming.

He was on his mind.

So whatever is hidden would have
been on his mind too, right?

Francis wants us
to take that page.

Does he not have
a message for me?

Yes. Give it all to charity.

Make the world a better place.

Bollocks to that!

[intriguing music]

[exhales]

that your mother-in-law and the

kid find what Francis nicked

She's done some
impossible things.

You've gotta trust her.

I had no right to come
here asking you for help

but you helped me anyway.

You are an amazing woman, Orla.

I was such an idiot
for losing you.

I've thought about you
lots over the years.

Did you ever think about me?

Running my fingers
up the length of your back...

stroking the nape of your neck.

Does it still make you purr?

Ben?

Yes?

If you don't remove
your hand, I'm going to break

those fingers off and
shove them up your arse.

[Orla]
You are unbelievable.

Do you think a few honeyed
words would get me into bed?

I'm in love with my husband.

His mother is out there trying
to save your worthless life.

You are still the same raggedy
boy you were 20 years ago.

Well, the spell was broken
for me after Germany.

Do you get that?

Don't blow it out of proportion.

It was one night in a cell.

I got you out
of there, didn't I?

Yeah.

Which is the only reason
I'm helping you now.

And it wouldn't have happened at
all if you could've run faster.

What?

[laughs]
Oh god.

Okay, saying things like that is
making me question my decision.

Look, that was
a stupid thing to say

and it was a stupid
thing that I did back then.

Look, if it means anything,
I've regretted it ever since.

I am truly sorry.

No, you're not.

You don't know the
meaning of the word.

You're just sorry you
haven't gotten what you wanted.

Now get out of my house!

[sighs]

May I please use the
bathroom before I leave?

Down the hall,
second door on the left.

"May I use your bathroom?"

[Charlie]
Orla?

You home?

What?!

[tense music]

Charlie!

You're home early.
Why? Why are you home?

Vivian wants an answer
about the promotion.

I don't know what to
tell her. Here...

Where are you going?

I'm bursting for a wee.

What?

This is it. The birdhouse.

Told you I knew this place.

See, the house with wings.

Malky comes here all the time.

Through choice?

[Happy]
Are you lost, your majesty?

Disappear.

[instrumental music on speakers]

You own this too, do you?

Nah, I just like the ambience.

To what do we owe this pleasure?

Do you know a Francis McCluskey?

I do.

Saw him in here about
a week ago in fact.

He was looking for Seamus.

Seamus owns the pub.
Seamus King.

Is he here?

Oh, he's always here.

Dead?

Very. Keeled over, heart attack,

right about where
you're standing now.

Why did Francis want
to meet with him?

I assumed Francis
was up to his old tricks again,

trying to shift some dodgy gear.

Seamus was a fence?

Who'd Francis have gone to next?

That all depends on
what it was he was selling.

Seamus was the daddy,

dabbled in everything.

Most of them specialise.

Specialise?

Well, if he was trying
to clean dirty money,

he might go to this person
or maybe that person.

Jewellery, somebody else.

Art, somebody else.

So it all depended
on what he was selling.

How do we find
out what he stole?

Thank you, Happy.

You have been very helpful.

You're more than welcome,
your highness.

[Fergus]
Now what do we do?

I mean, the only
person who knows

what Francis stole is Francis.

Well, that's, that's
not quite true, is it?

There is someone else
who'll know.

Harry, no!

Thats a terrible idea!

[line ringing]

[Rubén on phone]
Mr. Finnegan.

What a surprise.

I'm calling on
behalf of Mr. Finnegan.

To negotiate the return
of my property, I hope.

Er... yes. Sort of.

What does "sort of" mean?

Mr. Finnegan doesn't
have your property

but were trying to locate it
and it would be very

helpful if you could
tell us exactly what was stolen.

Is this a joke?

No. No, it's not.

Francis hid what
he stole from you.

Ben is determined to return it.

If you would indulge me,
we all get what we want.

[suspenseful music]

Señor Orantes?

I'm trying to work out if I
should find this amusing or not.

To whom am I speaking?

[Harry]
Er, Stella...

Stella Joyce.

Well, Stella,
I will indulge you.

Diamonds. Twelve, emerald cut.

And now maybe
you can indulge me.

Pass on a message.

You have two hours.

After that El Cazador
will do what he does best.

Well?

I might have just made it worse.

[sighs]

It was diamonds.

I saved your son's life.

And we found
the k*ller of yours,

I think that makes us even.

But your son still owes me.

No argument with that, but
that's between the two of you.

Yes, but now you need something

and I need something too.

Fella by the name
of Barry Kilcoyne was

arrested a few days ago,
trying to steal a car.

He's my idiot brother-in-law.

You ask your son to
get the charges dropped

and I'll tell you
who Francis went to.

To whom Francis went.

And it's not happening.

Oh, well.

Old Barry will just have
to do his time then.

I will sh**t your friends,

one by one,

then you, if you do
not give me what I want.

We're not his friends, actually.

That is irrelevant.

I am going to count to ten.

Uno...

- What are you doing?
- Harry!

Mr. Miralles, were trying
to find your diamonds for you.

If you'd be so kind
as to lower your weapon?

Not my diamonds, my employer's.

Yeah, I know that.
I spoke to him.

Erm... I just have a question.

What, what's his name?

Ben Fennigan.

And how would
you be spelling that?

F-E-N-N-I...

Just as I thought.
He didn't k*ll Francis.

- You did, Ben.
- No, I didn't.

The name stamped on
the arrow you supposedly

found in your front door
was spelled correctly.

You steal the diamonds too?

Were you and Francis
in on it together?

My guess is you did

and then you
found out that Orantes

had sent in the hunter.

Well, that's
when Francis baulked,

realised what
a mistake you'd made

and decided to give them back,

hoping Orantes
would forgive him.

Which is why he stopped
the deal with Jimmy Bread.

And why you k*lled
Francis with a crossbow.

I mean, what, a hitman
with a crossbow was

en route and
who would think it was you

when we'd all heard
El Cazador was here.

[Harry]You thought you'd just
grab the diamonds and vanish.

Then when you
went to look for them,

you discovered that
Francis had moved them.

You knew the hunter'd be here
sooner rather than later,

so you needed to find out
what Francis had done with them,

and fast, which
is where we come in.

Oh, you don't write the name on

your arrows by
any chance, do you?

- Why would I do that?
- No, exactly.

I honestly didn't think you
had it in you, Ben.

You're worse
than I ever realised.

Enough of this!

All I want is the diamonds
and I will leave.

Uno...

Dos...

Hey! Woah, woah! Wait!
Wait! Wait! Wait! Hey, hey, hey!

Look, I think I might
have been wrong.

- I don't think they're here.
- Tres...

Harry, the drawing.

What if it's not
a star but a diamond?

[Alejandro]
Cuatro...

She's looking at the diamonds.

[Alejandro]
Cinco...

Oh, Mr hunter, sir.
Permission to move.

Seis...

siete...

ocho...

nueve...

I've found them!
I've found them!

Diez...

He found them.

Hey, hey! Put them back
in the bag, please.

Alright, alright!

[tense music]

Where do you think you're going?
You just k*lled a man!

Ugh! Ugh!

Excuse me, can
I take that please?

Oh, be my guest.

[coughs]

[arrow whizzing]

[screaming]

Oh, Orla!

[groaning]

- Thank you.
- Welcome!

God, I need to learn
how to fight!

Jesus! My arse! Argh! Aaargh!

We need to get you
some boxing lessons.

[Harry]Oh, time to
call in the guards, I think.

It's all going
to come out, isn't it?

Charlie's going to find out.

This is Wicklow.
We'll call in the locals.

Ben'll tell him
just to spite me.

Leave that with me.

Ah...

how do you have free
run of the station?

Happy's calling in his favour.

I never agreed to that.

Well, he did save your life

and what he wants isn't too bad.

I've never done a favour
for a criminal before.

I know, dear, but there's
a first time for everything.

[sighs]

And if you help him out,

Happy'll do me a favour.

Why do you

need a favour from a loan shark?

No! I don't want to know.
Just...

Just tell me what I have to do.

[sighs]

[indistinct chattering]

Where's Orla?

Oh, Orla won't
be coming to see you.

Ah... that's a shame.

I guess my next visitor
will be your son.

I'd say he'd be very interested
to know who he's married to.

To whom he's married.

Actually, your next
visitor's already here.

Can't stay long.

I'm not actually here
to see you.

I'm here to visit
my cousin, Digby.

Digby, this is Ben.

I bet he makes
your tummy flutter.

[giggles]

Digby is going to be your
new best friend in here, Ben.

So, if you so much
as utter the name Orla Wild,

you'll have to let us know

because we'll need
to get new hats for the wedding.

Do we understand each other?

Good boy.

Should we invite Harry
to the restaurant?

Well, it's up to you.
It's your celebration.

She just wanted to say
a quick well-done.

Hey, hey...
why's the door open?

[intense music]

Stay back.

Ma?

[all]
Surprise!

[all cheering]

- What's this?
- Is this okay?

I thought you might
like it more than a stuffy meal.

Aw.

It was Harry's idea.

Well done, Charlie!
You deserve it.

Thanks, Ma.

[indistinct chattering]

Hey.

Hey, I, um, didn't know
if I should be here

but Harry insisted. So...

Something weird's
happening with my mam.

Yeah. Out of the blue,
she's decided

she's changed her mind about us.

We can see each other
with her blessing.

- Really?
- Yeah.

[both laughing]

Did I miss something?

Probably.

I do all the time.

Huh.

[indistinct chattering]

[laughing]

[theme music]
