02x01 - Yes, We Cairns!

Post by bunniefuu »

This season, from a
captain's point of view,

I have to look
after my standards.

It's five-star silver service.

As a team, we're
not going to settle

for any less than perfection.

Come on, come on!

Oh!

All right, let's get
this out of the way.

We're doing one for the team.

Is that a banana in your pants
or are you happy to see me?

Yes, captain, yeah!

Welcome to Australia,
ladies and gentlemen.

This season, I'm not going
to take any sh... from people.

I'm a tough b*tch now.

And that's how you have
a boyfriend and I don't.

The first thing I thought about

when I got out of bed
was money and alcohol.

This is so good.

It's like an orgasm
in my mouth.

I beat myself up.

I bet someone else could
do this better than me.

This is us together trying to
get to the end game, okay?

I have three therapists
that are not really working.

We have all these cool,
beautiful, good-looking people.

We all have sexual chemistry.

So Harry likes
Margot, who likes Luke.

And Laura likes Adam,
but also wants Luke.

It's a love pentagon.

Take your foot off
the pedal right now.

We're a team, this is our home.

We're not dragging
any anchors around.

- Get that fender over.
- Stand by, stand by.

Don't let that hit.

I've got no control
over the bow.

- Oh no, oh no, oh no!
- Get a line on.

I'm afraid it's
going to explode.

Why do you guys not understand
that I'm lactose intolerant?

Oh... ing sh... .

Whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa, whoa!

There needs to be some
sort of chat with the crew.

That's enough.

I'm going to terminate
your employment.

What the?

You need to get
off the boat tonight.

Wow, this is going
to be interesting.

Only one prop, eh?

Very nostalgic.

Hi!

Oh, I'm so excited to see you.

Hello.

This is amazing.

Should we go up to the bridge?

Yep.

Oh, look at this.

It's like an old
expedition boat, eh?

- Good greeting room.
- Love all these ships.

It's so interesting.

If we ever sink, we can
probably jump on that.

Yeah, yeah.

This is pretty impressive.

Oh, here's the master.

This is very grand.

It's like an old
explorer's room.

Good spa, good bath.

Northern Sun is a 1977
Japanese fishing vessel

that's been converted
to a luxury super yacht.

It's got massive dive locker,

huge forward toy storage,

two big tenders, fully set up.

It's the perfect vessel because
this season we're in Cairns.

Right at the foothills
of the most spectacular

underwater scenery
you'll ever see.

It's adventure yachting.

It's perfect for exploration.

I think it's beautiful.

Fantastic.

So your stewardess's look good.

Laura, the second, she's
had some good experience.

- Oh, Chief stew.
- Yep.

- Okay.
- Margot, your third stewardess.

She's still on charter
on another boat.

She's not going to be
here for a couple of days.

- So...
- Oh, no.

You're going to have to start
this first charter on day one.

With just two of us.

And then she's flying
in straight from a charter.

Can we get the boat
ready without her?

- Yeah.
- Okay.

I feel so excited.

I just want to smash
the first charter.

- Big day.
- Bloody big day.

All righty.

This season, as a Chief stew,

no one's going
to walk all over me.

Hasn't been done...

I'm so very sick today.

Were you on the
phone to your boyfriend?

Is that why you're
working so slow?

I never work slow.

I think we find an
experienced replacement.

I'm going to be a tough b*tch.

Well, a tougher b*tch.

I'm going to be direct
because I don't know

if it's quite in
me to be a b*tch.

Last year you
stepped up big time.

- Yeah, thank you.
- Do it again.

- Yep.
- Right-o.

Looks like we're
going on an expedition.

Just don't know about
that wind and weather.

Oh, Jesus. These are huge.

- Luke.
- Captain.

- Yeah, how are you buddy?
- Very good.

- Cool.
- That's a strong handshake.

I like it.

Welcome, mate. You've
been to Cairns before?

I have.

I had six months up here
on a boat, which is nice.

Well, this is an old
converted 1977 vessel.

She's got five meters draft.

So given the boat, the
age and single screw,

it's actually quite
difficult to drive.

Is this something new for you?

Well, a single screw
variable pitch 1977.

You don't get many of them.

- We got this.
- We have.

Lucky I like a challenge
because I've got one.

It's a converted
fishing vessel.

They modernized the interior
for the guest, but not for me.

It's not a push
button electronic boat.

It's the way things used to be.

It's like a vintage car.

And it's going to take
everything I've learned

in 25 years to drive this.

I'm at Cairns where
I like crashing boats.

Dinner rush was interrupted
by an unexpected guest.

We shut down all engines,

dropped an anchor
and selected a spot

where there was no personnel.

A bit of navigating
around the reefs.

I'm looking at that
anchor island being like,

that's commercial.

- A bit of work, isn't it?
- Yeah.

I love the nostalgia of it
all. It's going to be fun.

All right. I'll head down.

Thanks so much.
Nice to meet you.

All right.

- How are you?
- Hello.

Hi, I'm Luke. Nice to meet you.

- Nice to meet you. Aesha.
- Aesha. Pleasure.

- Hello.
- Chef.

Tzarina.

- Hi, Captain, How are you?
- Pleased to meet you.

- Pleased to meet you.
- Welcome aboard.

Just look at how big this is.

Whoa. Look at this place!

You've got yourself
a nice little CV.

- Do you think?
- Yeah.

You've done some stuff here.

You're pretty diverse.

Oh, let's see.

People describe me as weird.

It was difficult growing up.

I went to a private
Christian German school

as a bisexual Jewish woman.

I was a little sh... at school.

I just used to set
fire to everything.

I was fascinated with it.

So I went a little
bit off the rails.

After school, my
mother was like,

you've got to do something.

So I did cooking school.

It was the only
thing I was good at.

And I was like, oh my
God. I'm a chef. This is it.

And now I'm 30
and I'm still doing it.

I'll let you find your way.

Thank you so much.

Ohh...

I'm sweating me t*ts off.

Who's that?

- Cheffy!
- Cheffy!

- I'm Tzarina, by the way.
- Tzarina?

How are you feeling?

I mean, I'm okay, but
they've lost my suitcase.

Oh, no.

And just, yeah.

Well, if you need to borrow
anything of mine until...

That's so annoying.

And they're real
expensive, too, eh?

Yeah.

I have no makeup.
I have nothing.

Well, I was thinking,
me and you should share.

Jesus, the rooms are huge.

Here we go.

- You meet Captain, right?
- Yeah.

Oh, yeah.

Jesus, I would climb
that like a tree. Oomph.

- Hi!
- I'm Laura.

Aesha!

You are going to be...
You're my second hand, you.

Cheffo. Where you from?

- From Bristol.
- Bristol.

- How are you?
- Laura.

Shaking hands. Laura, I like it.

- Where you from?
- I'm from Latvia.

Latvia? Nice.

I don't expect you to
know where that is, but...

Because you're
stupid, apparently.

I'm a commoner.

I'm a massive
flirt. Like, too much.

You know what
I'm not trying to flirt?

I do it.

Okay.

It just creates crew morale.

This is the orgy shower.

The orgy shower, Jesus!

I'm calling it right now.

I'm going to check
out my galley.

- Where am I?
- Either that one or that one.

- They are really big.
- Oh, my God!

I'll let you get changed.

Okay.

Oh!

This... ing monstrosity.

- Hi!
- Hey, I'm Adam.

- Nice to meet you.
- Adam, you'll be down here.

Thank you.

She's a big boat.

- How you doing, Adam?
- Good.

- Nice to meet you.
- Adam, where you from?

- Brooklyn, New York.
- Brooklyn.

What's your position?

I'm usually a third mate.

Like, cargo ships and stuff.

Oh, you got, like, a
commercial background.

Commercial, yeah, yeah.

You're going to teach
me how to run this ship.

I got you, brother.

In high school, I had
really bad grades.

I didn't take
school too serious.

One day, my guidance
counselor pulled me into his office.

And he was like, what are
your plans after high school?

And I was like, I
don't know. You know?

So he helped me get into
this four-year maritime school.

Somehow I passed.

God, man. Like, I was so proud.

Now I have this Third
Mate, unlimited License,

which allows me to work
on any ship in the world.

Pleasure, I'll let you
get into your gear, okay?

My first job was on
commercial boats.

Just getting the cargo
from point A to point B.

So I'm pretty new to yachting.

I'm grateful to
be here, honestly,

just because everyone's my age

and kind of have a
little more fun at work.

I'm excited for it.

Need to get some
provisions on board, hey?

- Hey, Harry.
- Nice to meet you, Luke.

Luke?

It's like Antique's
Roadshow on water.

Yeah, bro.

Jump in. Jump in.

- Harry.
- Adam.

- Adam.
- Do you prefer top or bottom?

Whatever you prefer.
You're the bigger guy.

- I usually go bottom.
- I'll take top.

What do you think?

Well, it's, um...

Not a lot of prep
area. or space.

There's not much
room to plate and stuff.

Much space to do, yeah.

It's going to be a thing.

You've been yachting
for a while now?

Full time, probably
about a year.

Oh, okay.

My brother owns a
syndicate yacht company.

That's who I
work for in Sydney.

Nice.

We get to see these
amazing places and "party"

while working at the same time.

- What is that?
- It's the scuba diving.

You brought that with you?

- I dive every week.
- Damn, brother.

It's good to talk about how
I work together as a team.

- Communication's key.
- Yeah.

- I don't like to raise my voice.
- Yeah.

Like, if it's not a
guest requesting it

or something, or it's a
provision or something,

- I get a bit pissed off.
- Oh, yeah. Yeah.

This season I'm hoping to
have a chef that I can just talk to.

And it's not like
these... ing grenades

sh... all over my face.

And how many yachts
have you actually worked on?

I don't know. How many
vacuums have you pushed?

How many... ing frying
pans have you flipped?

You stick to vacuums,
I'll stick to cooking.

It's not that much to ask for.

Let's see how the
first few charters go.

Yeah.

, man.

I wonder if I fit in the shower.

How tall are you, man?

- Six foot four.
- Six foot four?

Right. I'll hit this.

Put a helmet on you.

All crew, all crew.

We'll have a crew meeting
in the main deck salon.

- Copy.
- Can you get up to the salon?

Crew meeting, crew meeting.

Can't be late for
the first meeting.

- Let's go, buddy.
- I'm excited for this.

That's going to be fun.

Is this everyone?

Right-o. Welcome
to Northern Sun.

Thank you.

The weather's going
to be a bit strong.

That's normal up here.

The reefs are good.

And there's a good
half a dozen, dozen reefs

that we're going to
visit over the season.

It's a family vibe
I like on board.

Be respectful for each person.

Zero drinking on charter.

Caught, off.

Whenever guests
are in the water,

I like a crew member
definitely close by

or in the water with them.

We have two engineers,
Vlad and Dyma.

And the first officer,
Dave, that will be with us.

Um... we have got two crew down.

Okay.

- We're down two?
- What's going on?

Yeah, we're two people down.

One of them was going
to be at a deckhand.

However, he can't make it.

So we're finding a replacement.

We've got a charter
tomorrow at 12 o'clock.

- It's full on.
- Wow.

- One in all in.
- Yep, let's go.

Thank you, Captain.

It's not the way it
was supposed to be.

I wanted a strong
team this year,

but I'm two crew down.

Now I just need to work
with what we've got.

It's not a very good start.

Coming up...

Guests are five minutes out.

Oh, no!

I just split my skort.

The guests can't see my labia!

And later...

No! They acting like I'm crazy.

There's a lot of
drama happening.

all y'all mother... ers.

We got on the boat
five minutes ago.

Let's just have a look and
see what we're working with.

Yeah, so just so.

Trying to do a
million things at once.

Hi.

Could I order some
knives, please?

Yes, tell me what you need.

Okay, if they have a set
with a smaller chef knife and

a bigger one and a
pastry knife, tweezers.

We'll get that to you
as quick as we can.

Thank you.

What's all this stuff?

This is the centerboard
for the sailboats.

- Oh, yeah?
- That's one for each of them?

- Yeah.
- These are sea bobs.

We need to figure
out this bad boy.

- What is this?
- Electric surfboard.

Have you used them? Oh, sweet.

We're in Cairns.

We're on the Great Barrier
Reef on an Explorer yacht.

Like, this is the
dream job for me.

I was shown adventure at a
very young age growing up.

I never did soccer or football.

I did sailing, scouts, surfing.

My goal in yachting is
to be the captain of a boat

that goes places,
an adventure boat.

I got it all planned out.

See, this boat's
got all the sh... .

Oh, my God, it's awesome.

Oh, should we do a
little stew meeting?

Where do you want
me? Chief Stew, tell me.

Do you want to come up this way?

Yeah, I'm coming.

All right, so I'm not
one of those dudes

that wants to boss you
around. I'm an active leader.

I'm one of those dudes
that wants to get in and, like,

come with me. I'll
show you how to do it.

We're going to be
very water sports-based.

So, man, let's just
have fun with that, okay?

First charter. Two people down.

Let's go.

I've been bosun for the
last two and a half years,

and then I was just
promoted up to second officer.

But I hated it.

I was just on a
computer all day, like,

it was boring.

Bosun's the best gig.

My biggest thing is
just don't be lazy, man.

Deck down and a stew down?

- Yeah.
- Good morale all the time.

That's us.

So, just looking at your CV.

Some boats, I'm chef.
Some boats, I'm a stewardess.

Passionate about theme events.

I've been an event organizer.

I love table settings.

I like everything all of this.

You're going to be on decor?

- Yes.
- Is that okay?

- Abso... ing-lutely.
- Absolutely.

Yes!

Before yachting, I ran my
restaurant in Barcelona,

one table restaurant.

It was my baby.

Business was booming,

and when it was just
perfect. COVID happened.

I couldn't do my
events anymore.

I ended up in yachting.

I've been in it for two years,
but I progressed really quickly.

I'm a hustler. I'm a hustler.

I just want us to work together.

It's tricky because you've
also been a chief stew.

If I ever do correct
you on anything,

remember not to
take things personally.

That's how you learn.

I have been graced with what

looks like a really
strong second.

She just seems full of
energy and very capable.

All crew, all crew.
Provisions are here.

Copy.

How do you want
to do this, brother?

Let's get a bit
of a train going.

Let's bring it all in here, and
then sort it from here down.

We've got to go,
we've got to go.

- Grab some boxes, boys.
- Heavy, heavy.

- Heavy.
- Thank you, sir.

Thank you.

- You all right?
- Yeah.

But I need to
strengthen my arms.

The corridor is so narrow.

There's a lot of stuff.

That's everything on board now.

If we can focus on
helping the interior in here...

- Yeah.
- We can work into the night,

and get tomorrow ready.

- Okay?
- Perfect.

Knives. Okay, brilliant.

Have you ever met
anybody from New York?

Never.

Statue of Liberty is there, hey.

- Yeah, there it is.
- Yeah.

And the Golden Gate Bridge?

No, that's San Francisco.

San Fran.

For 's sake.

All good here?

Um, a bit worried about space.

- You are?
- Oh, yeah.

Tzarina's got her
work cut out here.

This is a converted old vessel.

Unfortunately, when
they did the refit,

they didn't think
about the galley.

She's got no service area,

the equipment's old.

When it comes to yachting.

you definitely need a
restaurant-style setup.

Oh, here I am thinking
it went all the way back.

It's hard to maneuver,

and it's obviously
hard to cook in, too.

Yeah.

She's going to have to
think outside the box on here.

Just trying to help.

Thank you.

My God, he's so hot.

Are you here to help?

Yeah.

Do you know how to vacuum?

What am I vacuuming?

All the guest areas.

Done.

Serena, Aesha, and Luke.

Crew mess immediately
for preference sheet meeting.

Copy, crew mess.

- Copy.
- Copy.

Right-o, preference
sheet meeting number one.

Ah!

Carmen's the CEO
of her own PR firm.

She's bringing her
best friend, Brandon.

Her other friends
work in investment

and real estate firms.

They're all very successful.

Primary requests to be
greeted with lemon drop martini,

champagne for her guest,

a mocktail for Kristyl.

Kristyl doesn't drink.

- Doesn't drink?
- She's going to be a hoot.

The number of times
that I've had people say

that they don't drink,
they're vegan, blah, blah, blah.

And then an hour later,
they're sipping champagne

and swimming in meat.

They never stick with
it through the whole trip.

It's so annoying.

Itinerary requests.

They want to experience
the Seawalker helmet diving,

which is over at Green Island.

Okay, cool.

A night one guest
request to fine dine

on a seafood extravaganza.

I can do cake stands,

hang the lobster
off and make it like,

holy sh... , it's
everything here.

It's a lot of prep for
you though, isn't it?

I just have to deal with
the lobsters and the crab

and stuff before,
it should be okay.

One night two guest wants
a Moulin Rouge theme party.

They welcome the crew to
join in and form the Can-can.

Yeah, it's going to
be pretty raunchy.

Yeah.

I look pretty spastic
when I dance,

so I don't know
if I'm cut out for it.

It's the first charter.

You've got a good
preference sheet here.

You can be on top of it.

One step ahead, okay?

I reckon you guys have got this.

Thank you so much.

- Cool.
- Cool, guys.

This could be a really
big disaster, you know.

I think we got this.

I'm going to careful with
my little fingers tonight.

First day, cut my finger off.

So what time am I up?

Get up and 6:00 and start
getting those cushions out.

Beds, toiletries, towels.

Once we've done
those, we'll knock off.

Okay.

ADHD. DDDDD.

I'm severely dyslexic,
so I spend a long time

going through
people's preferences

and making sure that they
get exactly what they want.

I just scan through and try and
get into that person's mindset

and pick it all together

to create something
perfect for them.

But it takes me longer.

Hmm.

You realize how much one extra
person makes a difference, huh?

Yeah.

- Let's go to bed, boys.
- Yeah.

- Amazing.
- Okay, good.

Such a good job.

- Good night, chef.
- Good night.

Good first day.

Tzarina, you're welcome
to borrow anything of mine.

- Really?
- Anything you need, just ask.

Oh, bollocks. My suitcase.

Where is it?

I don't know.

I feel like most
people would be having

bloody nervous
breakdowns by now.

You're just cruising.

Well, at least on the
outside, you look like you are.

- Good morning.
- Good morning.

I need food.

All right.

So how long have you
been out of Latvia for?

haven't lived there.

What made you leave?

Latvia.

Hmm.

That made me leave. Latvia.

Latvia got independence
from Russia only 28 years ago,

so it's still young.

We used to be in communism.

Everybody has the same clothes,
same furniture, same everything.

When I was a child,

I always felt that
that's too small for me.

I turned 18, I packed
my bags and I left.

I've been traveling ever since.

It's too small. I
have big personality.

I'm a little bit worried
about this personality.

You're smart.

People see me as
an innocent, sweet girl,

but sometimes I
can be the opposite.

I feel like that's a warning.

- All right. Let's go.
- Okay.

- Good morning.
- Woo-hoo-hoo!

Start rinsing for everything.

Aesha, Aesha.

Can you come into
my cabin, please?

Yes.

So jealous.

- Um, contacts.
- Yes.

Can you put them in for me?

I would love to. Oh my
God. Are you serious?

I've tried all morning.

This is the most fun ever.

Would it be better out here?

Have you ever put them in?

- They're brand new.
- Oh my God.

I'm really into eyeballs.

I like touching them.

Okay.

You've got to look at me.

Look straight ahead.

Yep. Yep. There.

I think you got it.

- Oh yeah?
- Yeah.

Cool.

What's your family think
about you being in Australia?

The kids don't even
understand where that is.

You know what I mean?

You're the oldest then?

I'm the oldest of six.

My parents separated
when I was five.

They both got remarried
when I was seven.

So I have no full siblings,
but I love being a big brother.

I look at them as my kids.

My ultimate goal is to
get a house for my mom

and make sure my
siblings are taken care of.

That's what a man is, somebody
that provides for his family.

The only thing on my mind

is just getting like the kids
and my mom in a house.

We've always lived in
apartment buildings like

paying someone else's
mortgage to live there.

So I just want my
mom to stop working

like as soon as possible, bro.

That's so nice, man.

Awesome. This is our
Moulin Rouge stuff. Cheers.

Let's give it a rinse.
I'll give it a scrub.

All crew, guest
arrival is in one hour.

Starting to feel kind
under the pump now, hey.

Just a bit.

Aesha, how can I help?

Iron crew uniforms.

- I got that covered.
- Thank you so much.

This is not what
you want to be doing

one hour before charter.

Hot hose, jacuzzi.

Let's get the hard
work done now.

ing space!

Okay, I'll walk around.

Um...

Looks good.

Done well in eight hours.

Beautiful.

All crew, guest
arrival is 15 minutes.

All right, we need
to get changed.

Yeah, man.

The interior looks so good.

It's so good.

Okay. We need to get changed.

Yes.

The old two stripe.

What are these things you
put in your shoulder called?

- Epaulets.
- Epaulets.

Oh, no.

I just split my skort.

Oh, off.

Guests are five minutes
down, five minutes down.

We've got to get
the champagne out.

ing Christ.

- Game time, baby.
- Let's go, brother.

Oh, no.

We'll be getting in
position very soon.

- This one.
- So beautiful.

The guests can't see my labia.

All crew, all crew.

I'll meet you on the
aft deck immediately.

- Thank you.
- Laura, Laura, Laura.

We got to go.

- Let's do it.
- This is it. First charter.

ing hate doing mocktails.

Oh my God. I'm in Australia.

Here we go.

Yeah.

They look so good.

- Hey, guys.
- Hello.

Welcome aboard.

- Hello.
- Pleased to meet you.

- I'm Captain Jason.
- Nice to meet you.

- Was yours a lemon drop?
- Yes.

You're doing a
great job already.

- Hey, Brad.
- Brad.

- Good night, mate.
- Brandon. I need help.

I got you.

Do you drink or not?

I do. I was on a
spiritual journey,

but I would like extra
alcohol in that please.

- Okay, so you...
- I do drink.

- You want a c*ck?
- Yeah.

Honestly.

I need alcohol now.

She's giving up being sober.

You're going to
put some Bacardi in.

Yes.

Hey, guys. Welcome
aboard Northern Sun.

She's going to show you around.

We're going to get started up.

- Get out of here.
- Nice.

I need my drink quick, please.

- Yep, Laura.
- Laura.

I'm on vacation. Empty handed.

Laura. Oh, there's Laura.

I heard your name.

- Here we go.
- Let me tell you something.

- There's some rum in there.
- I like it. Thank you.

- Let's go, boys.
- Luggage.

Okay, come this way.

Oh, golly. Look at my ponytail.

So, this is the
jacuzzi spa area.

I like this area already.

- This is nice.
- Let's go down.

I'll show you the rest.

This is a bougie crew.

Yeah.

- Here we go.
- All right.

We'll go into the master.

This is the biggest room.

Let me just feel the vibe.
It's telling me Carmen.

Carmen has a nice bathroom.

You got a shower and a tub.

This is one of the other cabins.

It is a double, a
single, and a queen.

You all take that one.

I actually want to
sleep with my husband.

Well, that's a first.

Aesha, Aesha, the
charcuterie is done.

All right. That's it, guys.

All right. Let's get
this gangway away.

Laura, Laura, can you bring
the platters up to the bar?

Copy.

What we'll do is take all
the lines from fore to aft off.

Bow thrust out, take last
line off, and drive forward.

This wind is going to
keep pushing me on.

Just be ready to
have a fender there.

- Okay.
- I love it.

We have to figure
out this room situation.

- We can't move forward.
- It actually works out.

I'm staying with
Carmen in the primary,

so we can get some
Brandon Carmen time.

I'm want to make
it fair, though.

I already set my luggage there.

I'm going at the... Yes.

I don't have a
voice around here.

What is for lunch?

Mahi mahi platters, and salads.

Okay.

There's no... ing space here,

even though it's
a - ing huge boat.

Oh, beautiful. Charcuterie.

Now, this is the yacht
version of a charcuterie board.

This is the best
charcuterie board I've had.

Amazing.

We'll split up because
we're down a man.

Are you happy to do
the bow by yourself?

- Yeah.
- We're dropping from

bow to stern, and I'll call
him off the dock from here.

Cool.

So on commercial
boats, spring lines first,

and then offshore
stern lines, but then...

You call that
offshore as well, right?

- Yes.
- Yeah.

The stern thrust is
good. We check that.

Okay. Ready to go.

Do you want to go
change into your blue?

Luke, let me know
when your team's ready.

Hey, Bridge. We're
standing by on aft.

Let's get this
boat off the dock.

Single up on that stern line.

All right.

No, you... What
the... What is that?

Bridge, that is
singled up down aft.

Now, we're going to
take the stern line off?

No, no.

We're going to start from the
bow and come all the way down.

Sorry, man. I didn't think you
were going to go down there.

It's all right, brother.

I'm out of my
element, bro. That's it.

It's easier to catch it
from there than down there.

The boat itself is a challenge.

When a boat's
got two propellers,

it wants to go straight.

This vessel's got one propeller,
so it only moves one way.

And that way is
always to the right.

I'm on the dock here.

The wind's blowing
me on the dock.

The only way the boat
wants to move is into the dock.

There's no other
way to get the boat off,

but to try and get it out
in the wind and then drive.

That's pressure.

I'm not going to crash
twice on this marina.

I promise you.

So we can take number one
line, number two line off quickly.

One and two. All right.

Thank you.

Number one and
number two lines are clear.

Take all lines
off. All lines off.

All right. Now you do your
line and I'll drop on the fender.

Yeah, drop it.

Bridge, that's all lines off.

- Hey, hey, hey.
- It's about to crunch.

- We want this fender.
- Got it.

- In here? In here?
- Whoa, quickly.

Oh, my God.

Bridge, we need to
kick the stern over.

Oh, sh... .

Bridge. We're good.

We go two meters
separation from the dock down.

Good work, mate.

How close was that?

, that was close.

- Good job, brother.
- How did we not hit that?

- Real good job.
- How did we not hit?

Captain did so well.

You have been doing
such a good job, man.

I really appreciate it.

Cheers, mate.

It's a hard boat to drive.

I'm ready.

Laura? She's going
to be sick of me.

I've been calling Laura's name.

- How's it coming?
- Just make a circle. Yep.

Harry, if you get your
lines flaked up there,

we'll help you put them away.

I'm doing that right
now. Thank you.

Legend. Thanks, mate.

Well done, mate. That was good.

Yeah. Thanks.

Here's the thing.

Like, I get seasick
and I'm afraid of water.

In maritime school, they make
you take this swimming test.

I was like, okay, I doggy
paddle like anybody.

And the swim coach
is like, no, you failed.

They put me in remedial
swim for three months.

I slipped the swim coach
$20. I didn't learn to swim.

Laura. Laura.

Yeah, you guys okay?

No. Emergency.

Can we get water, a bucket
of ice, and Pinot Grigio.

Pinot Grigio?

- Can I get a little cham?
- Yes.

Laura. Laura.
Laura. Laura. Laura.

This is day one, guys.

Laura, Laura, Laura, Laura.

Laura!

Not down here.

Got a million things.

The girls have
their hands full, man.

Yeah, dude.

You know what pineapple do?

I'm going to stick this
pineapple fish up your a*s.

Oh, my God.

Laura, where are you?

One deck crew break away
and find Laura for Aesha, please.

And assist on the
interior for anything.

Yes.

That was way too long.

You just need to
change really quickly.

We've got Laura in the pantry.

We've got so much to do.

So what?

Looking good for
a job is important

because it shows
how much you care.

In Latvia, it's
all about beauty.

You brush, put the
lips, and you're good.

If it takes time,
it just takes time.

They're asking
for 50 million things.

We look hot.

You're checking me out or what?

I'm checking me out.

In every reflective surface.

- You're double-fisting.
- Cheers.

Cheers.

This is our life
and we're living it.

We're living the best life.

How's your first day been?

It's good.

Have you heard anything
about your luggage?

- No.
- Nothing, huh?

The gods against me today.

Who run the world?

- Gays.
- Girls.

You're my best friend.
Say it loud to Carmen.

Now.

- She's stealing.
- I'll fight for Brandon.

You will lose on that one.

I'm a winner. I win every time.

No, I'm a winner. You're
here because of me.

What's your name?

This is getting shady.

You're at like a
level-five stupid.

We'll just start
setting up lunch here.

Okay, cool.

We're going to eat lunch
and then we're going to go

to the island, right?

- Yeah.
- Cool.

That's what I want.

Oh, it just starts to rain.

It's raining.

No, it just looks better to
go like that and then forward.

Yeah.

Where do I do this?

Ah.

Come on.

Deck, Deck.

I'll be coming into
anchorage soon.

- Copy, thanks, mate.
- Thank God.

- Oh, the table looks beautiful.
- Thank you.

Oh, the weather
changed so rapidly.

Bridge, port anchor,
ready to drop.

Drop, drop, drop.

That is two shackles
to the water line.

Good work, mate.

I'm so happy we stopped moving.

Aesha, Aesha. Can
I get service, please?

Laura, Laura.

Can you start taking it up?

My favorite thing in the world,

a pickle, a cashew,
and a block of cheese.

- Can I take a salad?
- Yeah.

- Prawn with fresh chili.
- Fresh chili?

- Yeah.
- Okay.

The first lunch is
really a lot of pressure.

I've had really difficult
clients grab my plates

of food and chuck
them over the side

to be like, go and
fetch it yourself.

Woo!

The deckhand had to
dodge out of the way.

Since then every dish
I'm... ing sh... ting myself.

- Kale?
- I'll have kale, yeah.

Who would like some mahi mahi?

Yes.

- I love mahi mahi. Thank you.
- There you go.

Wow.

That's good.

That fish is amazing.

Amazing.

I'm excited to get
this thing in the water.

Come down and
help us put this in.

Okay.

You're amazing.

- They say they like them.
- That's good.

- Ready?
- Ready. Pick up.

Keep that stern in.

Too much wine in
the mineral water.

I'm happy.

Thank you.

Krissy.

Are you kidding
me? Don't do that.

- No. That's...
- You're being petty.

No, no, no, no.

No, there was
something on your mouth.

That's what we did.
That's what we did.

I know it was
something in my mouth,

but you're being petty.

Would you rather me
see something on you

and not tell you
that it's there?

I would rather you
not say anything

because you're being petty.

I'm a queen of the universe.

No, I don't do this.

- Krissy...
- Hello.

Are you guys satisfied?

Yeah, I'm ready to get
out of this mother... er.

Yes. I'm happy.
That's what matters.

Yeah?

What the just happened?

Well, I don't know.

- She didn't like whatever the...
- This is... ing bullsh... .

And she's... ing drunk.

All righty.

She's trying to get a reaction.

We need to talk.

No, they're acting
like I'm crazy.

Krissy!

all y'all mother... ers.

No, no, no, no, no, no, no.

I didn't sign up for this.

We got on the boat
five minutes ago.

Sh... . Oh, my God.

Seriously, go away.

They're on a super
yacht in one of the most

beautiful parts of the world.

And they're fighting.

This is a... ing nightmare.

This sh... is bullsh... .

This sh... is bullsh... .

Yo, we just got on the
boat five minutes ago.

This is not okay.

Oh, my God.

I remember my first beer.

Hey, mate.

Tender's on the
swim plat ready to go.

Yeah.

It's just off this research
vessel here, is that correct?

Yeah. Throw them up there.

They'll suit up and
do underwater diving

with helmets on.

Seawalker helmet diving.

And I'll just float with them.

Okay.

I've been to Green
Island many times,

usually scuba diving.
It's a marine sanctuary.

So the fish will come
straight up to you.

The sea helmet
walk suits anybody

because you don't have
to do your dive certificate.

So it's a perfect introduction
to the underwater world.

Thanks so much, Cap.

Good on you.

Aesha, Aesha.

I'm just letting you know
I've got guests in the tender

ready to go.

You need to leave now, right?

Yeah, we do.

- Uh-oh.
- Get the door!

Did you guys want
to come swimming?

No. Aesha, we're going
to sit in the room all day.

- What do you think?
- You've got to go now.

Yeah.

- Hello, ladies.
- Let's go.

I want to get in the water.

Ready for a bit of
underwater action?

I'm going to be the
most adventurous person

ever in my life.

I'm liking this vibe.

Let's go. Let's go.

Oh, that's a long step.

I got this.

- All right.
- Ready to go diving?

Whoo!

We almost kissed then.

You would have to explain
that to your boyfriend.

- Do it.
- Ah!

Ah!

Wait! Up!

Yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah,
yeah, yeah, yeah, yeah.

- Okay.
- Too many steps.

Welcome to Green Island.

We're going to head
up here to the right.

I know.

I'm really sorry. It's
such a long day today.

Because there's only two of
us, we can't do, like, full breaks.

I'm not even
thinking about a break.

I was just going to say,

do you want to go sit
down for half an hour?

Are you crazy?

I just don't...

Are you crazy?

Oh, my God, you're so nice.

I love you.

All right. Come on in.

We'll get the suits on now.

We put it over our clothes?

Yeah.

I don't want to put my bare
crotch on these, so, yeah.

I gotta get my foot in.

Yeah, I should
have pee-peed first.

Just go pee-pee in the suit.

- Ew.
- Game on.

Let's go then, team.

I have to get in the boat, too?

- And we're off.
- And we're off.

Let's get excited.

- This is us.
- Woo!

Game time, baby.

Oh, my God.

Are we ready?

Ladies first.

This is amazing.

Girl, I'm so excited.

Yeah, that's it. Well done.

Going down, nice and slow.

This is unreal.

What makes me happy
is just always chasing

the next bit of excitement.

I want that serotonin hit.

Like I want my energy
levels to be here

and I want my happiness
to be even higher.

I love finding the
next new thing.

I'm chasing my dreams.

- That was good.
- Oh my God.

- Right there?
- I... ing love you.

Yeah, of course.

That's crazy you guys
are down one person.

I know.

And you're still making
it happen though.

You just got to roll
with it, you know?

You're doing good.

Everything's just
so... ing messy.

This kitchen is doing
something to my brain.

Copy, tender inbound
in five minutes.

That's too tight.

We need to change
before this... ing dinner.

Okay, start moving
into nights, please.

Bro hug.

And you as well.

You want we in there?

Yeah, 100%.

Well done.

Boys, I'm sorry that we kind
of just smashed it out today.

It's all right, no breaks,
no nothing, but it's fine.

All right, it's
seven o'clock now.

Go down now.

I'm down. Because
we're down a man.

We need rest, do you
know what I mean?

Yep. You're up at four o'clock.

- I'll have a work list for you.
- Four, yeah.

I'm going to do the six and
he's going to be out later on.

He doesn't want to get
up early. He's not that guy.

I'm not that guy,
absolutely not.

Adam, get into your blacks.

And then we'll pack
the tender away.

Okay, copy.

I'm not good at swimming.

My leg is sore. My back is sore.

Everything is sore.

Laura, Laura?

Okay, coming in one minute.

Oh, my God.

Laura, Laura?

Ugh.

Laura, Laura, are you able
to start pulling for dinner?

Do you need help right now?

Let me just put
this in the oven.

- Mind putting that in the sink?
- Yeah, sure.

All good?

No.

Just trying to get
a order flowing.

I really thought I'd be able
to handle this a lot better.

How's your pots and pans?

Trying to do the crab, but
I've only got that one pot.

Yep, it's a challenge.

Messy surroundings, messy brain.

Tonight, we have
seafood extravaganza,

tiger prawn, crab,
lobsters, oysters.

I've just got a lot
of seafood to do,

and I have about that
much space to do everything.

Not used to working like that.

Everything's so... ing messy.

Look, it's day one. You've
done all the provisions.

- Let's get through it.
- Mm.

I quit three times
in my head today.

Yeah, look, it's day one.
You've done all the provisions.

Let's just get through it.

Mm.

Do you want me to work
on these, see if it helps?

I'd give anything.
I'm so far behind.

Have you got a lid for this?

Just put foil on top.

Okay.

You're taking control, captain.

I'm just in charge of crabs.

My hero.

You're skipping dinner.

- Hey, Adam.
- Yeah?

Drop that bow line for me.

So when do I know when
I can throw it on the boat?

Normally, it's not
good to throw the line.

- Like, you can pass it to me.
- Okay.

Otherwise, it'll end
up in the... ing water.

- Perfect.
- Ta-da!

Next.

Ow!

Spikies! I need my gloves on.

Captain's cooking for me.

We're on to
something, aren't we?

And we've got an hour.

So slowly catching up.

You cook a lot, don't you?

Fuchsia, the mother of my
child. She was a chef on yachts.

I've always loved cooking.

And Saskia's
mother is fantastic.

We run a business
together. We co-parent.

And I've learned a
lot by watching her.

So if I can help out,
I'm going to help out.

So you're going to go up and
put everything on the table?

Yeah, yeah, I will.

Well, you can
get on with it now.

- Yeah.
- You got through the hump.

I can leave you in peace.

You've been my hero.

I love this color scheme.

Yo!

Because there's only two
of us while I'm doing dinner,

if you just turn down cabins.

Can the third
stew do it, please?

I know. There's so much to do.

Yeah.

Ready, mate? Okay.

Not too much.

All right. Cool, mate.

Woo!

Now go and help in the galley?

Yeah, man.

- Good job, brother.
- Thanks so much.

Oh.

Not exactly how I pictured it.

- Cheffy?
- Yeah.

Do you want me to
help you take stuff up?

You can put the newspaper bits

in the middle and
the crab things.

And then I can
plate it on there.

- Cool.
- What's going on?

I'm going to need help
carrying stuff upstairs.

Yeah, yeah.

Okay, I'm here.

- Can you take these up?
- Okay.

There's the good stuff.

Oh, my God. I love this.

I love being a g*y man.

That looks so good.

Smells amazing.

- You look gorgeous.
- Thank you.

- Are you ready, Brandon?
- Enchante.

- Okay.
- Let's go.

Thank you so much, guys.

This looks amazing.

Wow.

That is an extravaganza.

I think that's everything.

Oh, my God. I love this.

Ah! Look at this dinner!

- Jeez. Wow.
- Caviar with gold.

That is one hell of a crab claw.

- Can we eat?
- Yes, absolutely.

Slide on there.

Yeah. Where's Krissy at?

She's asleep.

Oh is she out?

Luke, come and see me, please.

Copy, captain.

We have king
prawns, lobster tails.

I think you have everything.

- Dive in.
- Thank you.

- Thank you.
- Enjoy.

- Well done.
- Thank you.

I'm so excited
about this right now.

- These are amazing.
- So good.

That's really good.

- How are you, mate?
- Very good. That's tender away.

Good work, mate. Big day.

You need to get the crew
to fill out their hours of rest.

Put a system together so
they got eight hours sleep.

Okay.

We'll be down at 10 and one
of the boys is already down now.

Mmm... No.

This one.

No, you should leave
someone up with the guests.

Help the stewardess
until they go to bed.

Yeah.

Tomorrow, we've got another
crew member join us in the morning.

The stewardess is in.

- I'm trying to get a deck hand.
- I appreciate it.

The best thing I see
about Luke already,

he's taking
ownership of the deck.

When I communicate with Luke,

he's listening and
he's proactive about it.

Hot hose. Jacuzzi.

Bridge, we need to
kick the stern over.

Oh, sh... .

- We're good.
- Good work, mate.

You can see that he's got
the ability to be a strong leader.

We're going to learn a lot
today with everything, you know,

the vessels characteristics.

It's new for us all
and we did well.

We're going to get
better and better.

You keep doing
what you're doing.

Thank you so much.

- Good on you, brother.
- Appreciate it.

See you in the morning.

Laura, Laura. Do you want
to pop down to the cabins?

Yeah, I will.

This is caviar.

- Don't tell Brandon.
- I won't.

It's good.

You didn't say what it was.

Just swallow. You're
used to doing that.

It's not funny,
Rhoda. So piss off.

Brandon, bring your octave down.

- Okay, fine. Sorry.
- No, it's not fine.

Okay, well, how the
do you open that?

You didn't do anything.

- How's the food?
- Love it. Like, it's...

Oysters were amazing.

Yes.

Thank you, Aesha.

- Pleasure.
- Oh, my God.

I'm over it.

Brandon's... ing wasted.

Exactly.

- Aesha, Laura.
- Go ahead.

I've finished
work in the cabins.

Copy, thank you.

I love Brandon's to death,
but he's a... ing trainwreck.

They're so annoying.

- Finger and crabs?
- Yeah.

How's your technique?

Oh, there's something you know.

You're naughty.

I'm totally ready to fall in
love with someone on a yacht

because I'm
about to turn 30 and

it's a big pressure from
my family, from my friends.

In Latvia, you get
married when you're 20.

You get kids when you're 20.

- I love your accent.
- I love yours.

So half of them
are already in bed.

I'm going to
start clearing stuff.

- Does that mean no dessert?
- Yeah.

On that note, I will see
you ladies in the morning.

- Have a good night.
- Thank you, babe.

I need to find my
own cigarettes.

Oh, my God. Wait.

This is the best
thing I've ever tasted.

Ah!

Where is, sorry,

can I get one more glass
of champs and I'll go to bed?

Yes. Here.

I apologize. I promise.
I'll be out of your hair.

I will be out of your hair.

Thank you, love.

I'll see you in the morning.

Go get some rest.

Love it.

- Have a good sleep.
- Yes.

- Hello.
- Hello.

You are a mess in here.

- We're not a
mess - You are now.

Because I just got here.

How do you feel
your first day was?

Terrible.

Oh.

They loved it.

I mean, Captain helped me a lot.

The fact that I needed
help, it's a sh... ty feeling.

I wouldn't beat yourself up.

Yeah, I know.

What do I do with my stuff that
I need for tomorrow morning?

Your personals, put it in

and we'll put it on the
dryer before I go to bed.

- Okay. Goodnight.
- See you.

Goodnight.

- How are you?
- I'm just tired.

Yeah? Awesome.

Thank God.

Because there's only two of us.

It makes sense for
me to go down now

and then you to go down
later and then I'll start earlier

and you start later.

That's perfect.

We're in adventure.

It's going to be a big
- ing day tomorrow.

So just dishwasher and then
the machines put those in.

Aesha.

I'm having a c*ck up here.

Coming up...

Guys.

Captain, the guests
jump in the water.

Really?

This is a very
dangerous situation.

If I was a shark, I'd be out
right now looking for food.

Bloop, bloop, b*tch.

Aesha.

I'm being obnoxious.

Yes.

I'm having a c*ck
up here. I know. I know.

I'm sorry. I'm sorry.

- Okay. Goodnight.
- Goodnight, honey.

I'm like, okay. Fine. Relax.

Could Aesha come
out here for a minute?

She's down for tonight.

- Oh, she's done?
- Yeah.

- Okay.
- You have me.

Don't tempt me
with a good time.

Double bag that one?

- Yeah.
- That's pretty much it for us.

That's it.

Laura, have all the
guests gone to bed?

One of them is still there.

The majority, yes.

All right.

I'm leaving before
sh... gets weird.

- Thank you.
- Adam, we'll go get some sleep.

All right.

I know Jason wanted someone
up, but I want to be strategic.

Looking after our team.
We're a man down.

If we keep everybody up,
we're going to have tired bodies

walking around on deck tomorrow.

You know if we have
any gel on board?

- Hair gel?
- Yeah, like hair gel.

Whoa.

Now you're going
full Brooklyn on us.

- Full Brooklyn, bro.
- Yeah.

Yeah, I didn't
bring my gold chain.

I need to smoke a
cigarette. I need to smoke.

I need cigarettes.

, sunburn.

I got to go to sleep.

Brandon, the night is young.

Let's go, let's go,
let's go swimming.

Yes.

Hello? Hello.

- Oh my God.
- Can we go night swimming?

- Sorry?
- Can we go night swimming?

No, you can't go swimming.

We can't.

No, you're under influence
and there's no one with you.

It's dark and we don't see you.

So we can't take a dip.

Okay, I love that.

- So...
- Thanks for asking.

Yes.

So we're gonna go swimming.

Just kidding.

Okay.

So we have to like hide that
we're gonna go swimming.

- Yeah, let's do it.
- We're gonna go swimming.

It's pitch black.

It's a full moon, b*tch.

It's us, b*tch.

I know.

Guys?

Guys, I was very clear with you.

If you jump in the
water, the party is over.

Oh, you said that?

And I was serious about it.

I will need to
talk with captain.

Bloop, bloop, b*tch.

I thought you were holding me.

They don't know
Laura can get angry.

Captain?

Yeah?

The guests jump in the
water after I warn them

if they do so the
party will be over.

Who's on? Just you and?

I don't know.

Luke, Luke, you copy?

Anyone awake?

I don't really know.

Luke, Luke, you copy?

Are you kidding me?

Really?

This is a very
dangerous situation.

I've got no deck crew.
They're all asleep.

We've got reef sharks.
We've got strong currents.

We've got boxed jellyfish.

Those people could jump in
the water and not come back up.

They're my lives.
It's my responsibility.

And I've got to keep
them out of harm's way.

It just can't be tolerated.

You told them not
to go for a swim.

Yes, I said if they
go, the party's over.

If I was a shark, I'd be out
right now looking for food.

Look at this Baywatch.

They took it to another level.

Yeah, that's out
of the question.

- It's too dangerous.
- I know.

She told you not
to swim and you did.

let me put my t*tties away.

I know. We get it.

We've got current,
we've got sharks,

we've got jellyfish.
You've got everything.

Right.

It's out of the question,

especially when you've
been drinking so much.

You go back in the water,
we'll go back to the marina.

On my vacation. I'm
the captain of the ship.

You'll learn it tomorrow.

No. We're done.

I'm highly upset.

So you went that next step,
I'm going to go that next one.

So now, we'll head back
to the marina tomorrow.
