he exchanged well-wishes with Ash

and headed to the meetup point.

At the Slateport City Harbor
in the Hoenn region,

Goh met up with Horace and Gary,

then reunited with Professor Amaranth
and senior Chasers Danika

and Quillon in the Project Mew lab.

Just about the time
the Masters Eight Tournament final

between Ash and Leon was getting underway.

[Danika] The short dry season
has arrived earlier than expected.

That's why we have to move up
our schedule and get started.

We appreciate that you were able
to respond to our emergency.

I imagine Mew
is having a good laugh at us,

seeing humans scramble around like this.

[Danika] We are currently headed
for a small landmass

called Faraway Island.

The entire island is normally engulfed
in high winds and clouds,

preventing access.

But now, during the dry season,
the sky clears enough to allow it.

Last year, we picked up
strong psychic energy signals.

They came from the central part
of what's known as Table Mountain.

[Amaranth] We theorized
that those signals came from Mew.

That was when we assembled
the Project Mew team.

Now, here's the plan for us Chasers.

[Danika] We will land on Faraway Island
and make the climb to Table Mountain.

And from there,
we'll start our search for Mew.
