LIKO: Grandma had told us a legend,
about a Lapras whose powerful song

guides ships to safety
through dense fog.

We thought the Lapras might be
one of the Six Heroes.

So, we set out on the
Brave Olivine to find it,

but weird things
started happening on the way.

When the fog cleared,
a bunch of Pokemon

had already gathered together
near the ship...

..including Lapras.

A ship comes by,
Lapras whips up some Mist,

and suddenly the sailors are lost in
a fog? Oh, come on! Wow!

Yeah, but after that, it sang
its song and saved them, didn't it?

The rescue routine is all
part of the heist, Roy.

While it distracts
the sailors' attention...

..no-one sees this
move in on the ship.

I guess that silhouette
was Wailord. Bingo.

Once Cap blew all the fog away,
the situation came right into focus.

Pika.

So does that mean...?

Exactly. It's a scam.

While Lapras misdirected our
attention by creating the fog,

its friends closed in on the ship
on Wailord's back,

and then carried out their plan
to strip the ship

clean of its provisions.

So, that's what the song in the mist
is really all about?

They're only out to steal
food from boats?

Apparently, the same thing
happened to the cargo ship captain

we talked to back in town.

Poor guy never saw his rescuer was
the one stealing his supplies.

A brilliant deduction, Friede.

The biggest giveaway was all those
Pokemon who can't swim

and aren't found in these parts.

Obviously, they needed friends who
could travel by sea.

And that would be Wailord?

It would explain why the ship was
rocking

just before Lapras got here.
Wailord was getting close to it.

I'd wager Lapras went to many
different regions gathering

up enough friends to help it.
In fact,

maybe we should call them
the Lapras Pirates.

Hang on, did you say, "pirates"?

skills. Yeah, no kidding.

I heard Lapras were intelligent, but
this right here is off the charts!

You two bringing all the Pokemon
food up to the deck

helped to confirm that's what they
were after.
