the entrance was booby-trapped
with a pressure plate IED.

that I had got hit by an IED,
and I looked down and I saw one boot.
It blew my right leg off, my right thumb,
and a lot of other shrapnel injuries.
I spent two years
at Walter Reed Army Medical Center.
I had to do surgeries every other day.
So, it was a lot.
They got me a prosthetic leg.
I was retired from the Marine Corps
