and I almost lost myself.

trying to save him.

and his world championship ring,

My experience connecting with Tatum

is so different than
my experience I had with True.

And I do think it was a storm of

either traumas or emotions.

I mean, I knew he was my son
and I loved him and I took care of him,

but I just did not have
that instinctual feeling

that I had with True, instantly.

I didn't think Tatum

and everything that I went through

and I was more mad at myself
that I couldn't get over it faster.

I never let him know
the difference either way.

And I also felt like it was important

"Oh, you don't really feel connected,"

and then you feel ashamed
in admitting that,

where I just was like, "Listen,"

I know my situation had,

different ways this can go.

such an incredible place.

Like, I almost feel like I was,
like, floating above my body

and I'm not sure...
It was just... It was overwhelming.

So, basically, when I moved here,

I kept finding all this
random stuff of Lamar's.

So, I just started
putting them in a trunk.

He came over and he was so nervous.

He was mumbling like a [bleep].

want your marriage to end

but circumstances change

And so, when you weren't planning on that

like, harder to get over.

So, how did it end?

Like, was there anything that he talked
about that made you emotional?

The things I went through with him,

it took me so many years to get over that
