I just feel really bad for my mom,

and I don't think any parent
deserves to lose a child.

'cause it's such a helpless feeling.

does for their people.

Leading up to the wedding,
every day,

they would do a different good deed.

for 2,500 people's weddings.

So, although their wedding
is really opulent,

they're also giving back
in a really great way.

They invited us to come
to a temple with them

For us, faith is a really
strong element in our lives.

We're Christian, but we love to learn
about other religions and faiths,

and I think we're really, like, spiritual.

so special to me
because I was a monk for three years,

and I spent a significant
portion of it at this temple

and another temple two hours away,

and then in the UK as well.

remove all obstacles.

Any Hindu temple you go to,
you'll find him at the entrance way.

And so, we just pray to him
to remove all obstacles

for both of you today,
in all areas of your life,

and so that you may walk
freely and bravely through

any and all
challenges that will arise.

-[Jay] So, this is the main altar.
-[Kim] Oh, my goodness.

I think just overall what we feel
on this entire trip is that

there's so many more things that
we haven't seen and witnessed.

I feel like we can get
desensitized in a world

where we have a lot
of access to a lot of things,

and things move really quickly.

But then, when you travel
and you go somewhere

where the culture is so different,

we really are enjoying being,
like, removed for a second,

and just... taking it all in,
living in the moment.

What I was really drawn to here was how
the monks were so involved in service.

Half of your time is based on yourself
and mastering your mind and your emotions,

and the other half is service.

And that's why we're gonna serve
some children later on

because that's such
a spirit of the culture.

This has been such
an incredible experience

being at the temple with everyone,

and we honestly feel
so blessed to be here.

from a very materialistic place.

I think going to this temple,
and feeding these children,

and being around Jay and his wife,
and just the spirituality of it all,

it was a balance that we definitely need.
