I've never done this before,
so I don't know, I'm nervous, it's scary.

I basically did a Q and A for, like,
the fans of what they wanna hear.

Esophageal Cancer event at UCLA.

And then I'm taking Scott, Kendall,
and Olivia with me to a prison visit.

So, a lot's going on this week.

Well, you know I'm moving.

This is gonna really have me purge.

North gave me one of her teeth today

I'm having a meeting here with landscaping

and going over everything.

goodbye for a year and a half.

Wow.

So, when we move out,

we're definitely gonna stay in Malibu
for the rest of the summer.

And then, we just need,
like, a home base

just because it's gonna be
way too far to drive to school.

We are at my new rental.

Oh, this has gotta go.

Like a year, year and a half.

I'm actually really
excited for this change.

I've thought about these improvements
for a really long time

and I just can't wait to get them done.

And then, here,
it'll be a whole area,

a whole closet.

I did this whole renovation
and then I looked up to my team

and I go, "Guys,

But first, I have a fundraiser

for my dad's charity I have to go to.

Our dad being diagnosed
with esophageal cancer,

he passed in 2003,

and, at the time, there was not a lot
of information on esophageal cancer.

My dad died within weeks of diagnosis.

It was just such an aggressive disease.

My dad was always super big on charity,
but empathy for others.

raising awareness and money

to extend someone's life,

I know my dad would be

and how many lives it's helping?"

And that it's all in my dad's name,
it really does mean a lot.

My dad, in general,
was incredibly goofy,

definitely class clown.

He was very playful and very fun.

because my dad hated the hospitals,
hated doctors, would never go.

that would go when it was too late,

I can contribute to that conversation.

And I'm just so grateful to Eric
for helping us make this a reality

'cause we all, together,
are saving so many people's lives.

his life with this new technology,

to Growlersburg Conservation Camp,

and I'm bringing
Scott, Kendall, and Olivia.

So, explain where... what's going on.

Okay, so, forever, they've had
fire camps within the prison system.

[reporter] Inmates fighting
for their future freedom

while fighting the state's deadliest
and most destructive fires.

Once you earn your way to, like,
down levels because of good behavior,

you can actually spend your last
two to three years of incarceration

in a fire camp
in the woods with no fence,

going out every day with Cal Fire

and, like, battling,
like, the biggest fires

that are destroying entire
communities, et cetera.

So, we created
this youth offender fire camp,

which allows guys
that have violent crimes,

but have shown that
they've changed their lives

to go to this fire camp.

[Kim] It's a camp where
youth offenders under the age of 26

where these men get to come
and work as firefighters.

The most amazing thing about this program

is it gets their felonies wiped off
of their record completely.

So, after working and training
to be a firefighter,

if they find that this is something
that they wanna do when they get out,

they will have an immediate job
as a firefighter if they wanted that.

[Kendall]
Probably gives them such purpose, too.

[Scott Budnick]
You've nailed it, right?

So, they go in and you're like,
"You're a piece of sh*t,

"you've commit...
you committed a violent crime,

"we're gonna separate you
from the community

"because you're too dangerous

and because the community
doesn't want you."

So, now you feel like a piece of sh*t

and then, all of a sudden, you're like,
wait, you're in a fire camp.

Cal Fire's telling you you're a hero,

you're a first responder,
you're wearing the badge.

Now you're here to save
people's lives, so...

-[Kendall] Such purpose, yeah.
-[Kim] And they need you.

I've been wanting to come.

I feel like it just hasn't
worked out perfectly.

My schedule has kinda never aligned
to when she's done these prison visits,

and I'm really excited to learn about it

and meet some of the men
and, um, people involved in this project.

the physical property

was gonna feel like a, like a camp.

We're guys from the streets,

probably being people that people
wouldn't want around at all.

But now, we're being really
productive each and every day.

We're doing some
of the hardest work imaginable.

'Cause if I could do this,
I could do anything.

opportunity.

So, goin' from criminals
and gangbangers to firefighters,

like, upstanding members of the community,
so this is, like, huge.

This is beautiful, and I'm glad
you brought a spotlight on it for us

I think it's really important,
especially with the firefighters program,

these guys went from being people
that have been incarcerated

to now being heroes for helping fight
these fires and saving lives and homes.

And I can only imagine
what that would feel like

and the pride that they must feel inside

and feel like they're getting
a piece of themselves back

or even maybe a feeling that
they've never felt before.

in their daily life,
I think that's so cool.

It was rough.

My sister, Karen,
recently passed away

and I've spent an awful lot
of time worrying about my mom

and really making sure she's okay.

And I think for me, for right now,
I just have to learn to live in the moment

and try to be as healthy
and as happy as possible

and spend lots of time with my children,
my grandchildren, and Corey.

And that is my recipe
for Kris Jenner right now.

So, I went to Kim's house
and she was explaining to me

how she was building
this whole other area

and adding onto the house,

and there was a whole
men's bathroom and closet area.

And I'm like,
"Are you trying to tell me something?

Is something happening
I don't know about?"

She goes, "Well, yeah,
this is for my future husband."

I'm like, "What?"

She's manifesting...
I had to give her credit.

Like, she's manifesting her future.

Well, hopefully, she can
get married one more time

and then she'll be good
for, like, 60 years.

-That's my, that's my wish for her.
-Longer, longer than 72 days.

She's going to be married
to the love of her life.

-I pray for her.
-She just hasn't met him yet.

I-I pray she hasn't met him yet,
and I pray he finds her.

how this program has changed their lives.

I really love highlighting
these rehabilitation programs.

Ultimately, we want to feel
really safe in our society

and putting money and attention
into all of these skills

that these men can learn is just,

I think, such an important
part of this process.

Good afternoon.

Let's go around quickly.

One thing that you're proud of that
you've accomplished inside in prison.

One thing that I'm proud of is
being here and being a different man.

I can talk to my mom different now.

She doesn't see
the old person that I used to be.

That's amazing.

I'm now halfway
to finishing my college degree,

so that's something I'm very happy about.

I've gotten a lot of skills being
in prison: self-control, patience.

And on the streets,
I didn't have none of that,

so I'm pretty, pretty proud of that.

Scott, Kim, Kendall, Olivia,

will you guys introduce yourselves

and maybe just a little bit
about how today's been for you?

I'm Kendall.
This is my first prison experience,

and I'm really grateful to be here to see

not only what you guys do
but your outlook on it all.

A word that's been
coming to me a lot today,

and Scott and I were talking
about it on the plane,

was the sense of purpose that I feel like
you guys might feel you have.

And I think that's really amazing

to be able to say you have that

and have something
really real outside of it

and have passion and have drive

and I think that's really amazing,

so it's cool to see how this
has potentially changed you guys

for the better and it's inspiring.

Hey guys, I'm Olivia.
My grandpa, my two uncles,

and my cousins are
all firemen, fire chiefs,

so I'm just excited for you guys.

This is really cool...

Yeah, I think something
like this really shows people

what you could do
and be a better person when you get out.

So, it's a big deal
and, you know, it's very inspirational.

[Kim] You guys are making the best of it
and learning these skills.

This is the glimmer of hope
that people have to see

in order for the whole system to change.

I can't wait to see what
you guys do when you come home.

What got you into this, like,
I guess, to see us different?

-Why is it that you decided to do this?
-[Kim] Yeah, I mean, it started off as

I had never been to a prison.

So, I've heard, like,
Scott Budnick's name, like,

three times in, like, two weeks
and I was like,

"I need to figure out
who this person is and why everyone..."

I got a blind text that said,
"Hi, my name's Kim Kardashian."

-True story.
-I was like, "I've heard your name

"three times this week
so I feel like I need to know

who you are and, like, what's up."

He was like, "Okay, do
you wanna go to a prison?"

And I was like, "Sure."

So, I went to a women's prison, CIW,
and I sat in a room like this

and this one girl was like,
"My boyfriend had me go get drugs

"or pick something up at this apartment,

"and I didn't know that, like,
some sh*t was gonna go down

and someone died,"
and, like, these crazy stories.

And I thought to myself,

"Oh, my God, one time,
my friend had me go pick up, like, ecstasy

at this apartment and, like,
what if something happened?"

And I was like...
I, literally, thought that.

-[Kendall laughing]
-And, um...

-So Elle Woods right now.
-[Kim] No, I'm being serious, though.

-[laughter]
-Like, I was like, "What?"

I don't wanna name names.
I'm getting myself in trouble here.

[Kendall]
Oh, my God, I'm sweating.

The reason I lost it
and kinda laughed so hard

was because I saw
the officer, like, a few people over

from her basically be like...

[Kendall laughing]

It was so, like,
Legally Blonde or something.

Oh, hi, I'm Elle Woods,
and for my admissions essay,

I'm gonna tell all of you at Harvard
why I'm gonna be an amazing lawyer.

I loved it, though.

I thought to myself,
"Seriously, if some sh*t went down,

I would've been able to call my dad,
and he would've helped me."

And these people didn't have that.

I really thought to myself like,

"This is just so crazy.
These people need help."

The more I got into it,
the more I heard stories,

I was like, "Oh, my God,
this is so [bleep] up."

Like, "How do we help here?"

The... And it, it gets overwhelming

'cause every part
of the system is so [bleep] up.

-It's crazy.
-Except for Fire Camp.

I think my passion for prison reform
really kinda got sparked with my dad

and all of the giving back
that he would do

and just all the places
he would take us to help other people.

My dad resonates through all of that,

and I always feel his energy
every time I do something like this.

The experience was amazing.

I'm really happy I got to be a part of it
and learn something cool today.

I think it put some things
into perspective for me

and was really cool to see.

and to keep fighting for the guys inside,

and to wanna finish law school,

and to just keep doing what I'm doing.

What did your parents think
about starting this venture

I'm like, "Yes, Dad,

What advice would you give to your kids?

Do you want them to be a part of this

-I feel like it's up to them.

But it's crazy to think
what they've become.

Like, Kendall and Kylie blew up
a whole society of their age.

That's a good way to look at it.

Now, look at the 13 grandkids,

when they all become of age,

what they could do is, like,
a royal rumble of the world.

It's terrifying.

how drinking affected me

and how badly it put me in certain places.

What are the things you both love
and dislike the most about each other?

I was thinking you
