It was the most amazing feeling

I've had in a long,

Once I saw the boat,

It made everything real,
and I knew that that's it.

I'm done.

I wanted to prove that
I was mentally

And physically strong enough
to do this challenge.

But the biggest lesson
I learned,

I think, is I'm bossy.

I do like to be in charge a bit.

But if you want to survive
for this whole challenge,

It's all about you and your
partner working together,

Connecting and getting
through it together.

I learned a lot about myself
from this experience.

I knew I had stubbornness

And an independent
and hardheaded nature.

But there's no point
in holding grudges.

You just have to take
a deep breath

And just go with the flow.

We're humans.

I think humans are meant
to be with other humans.

Caused tim to lose 35 pounds.

Tim attacked the challenge
like a true marine,

Constructing shelter
and making fire

Despite
the difficult environment.

But he struggled with
his partner's assertiveness

And grew resentful
and withdrawn.

He eventually realized
the importance

Of joining forces as a team.

Tim's primitive survival rating,

from 7.2 to 7.7.

Shannon left the challenge
17 pounds lighter.

Her overbearing attitude
alienated her partner,

But she still displayed
a tenacious work ethic

Despite tim's lack
of participation early on.

As a result, shannon's psr
rises from 7.2 to 8.0.

It takes trust and unity
to survive naked and afraid.
