And it's very humid

That has cut a swath
through the limestone cliffs

And left a vast system
of caves in its wake.

Thriving in this dark, wet
canyon are venomous vipers,

Ravenous insects,
and ferocious piranha.

But all creatures here are at
the mercy of the river's wrath.

It rains almost every day,

And storms can dump
13 inches of water in 24 hours.

Water levels can rise and fall
drastically

And cause massive flooding.

I'm feeling very overwhelmed
right now.

I think overwhelmed
is an understatement.

The jungle takes no prisoners.

I grew up as a small-game
hunter.

I'm definitely proficient
in making shelter.

I can build lean-tos,
huts in caves.

I love to push my boundaries,
and I like to suffer.

Suffering is growth.

That's my sidekick,

I've climbed mountains
from europe to southeast asia.

I go for the biggest,
the hardest routes,

And I climb solo, so that adds
a dimension of difficulty

That not many people can handle.
