Everybody thinks a comeback is overnight.
It's not. It's years in the making.
So a lot of times, people quit.

I was like, "Well, this is the road I have to take."
- I had to actually go through it, like, three or four times.

- Well, there's guys there who've been there,

- I don't think I would've been able to survive
such an ordeal without the support and love
from my friends and family, so I want Ron to know that
he's not alone, and we're not gonna quit on him.
- I'm just getting started to get back into the gym.

state of depression for a little bit.

Listen, your mental health is the most important thing.

Part of being a full-time dad and having her all the time

to what she wants to do.

I'm being the best father I can be.

But I think it's really necessary

and you can't really speak for people in this situation,

Uh, this has been one of the hardest years
that I've ever had to face,

I understand, and that's part of recovery as well.

and make sure my side of the street is clean.

in my early sobriety.
Now he has realized that he cannot drink and drug
and he has to be sober in order to have
a healthy, successful, positive life.
