deceit, and manipulation.

a unique game of predator and prey.

In each of your rooms right now,
there is a box.

And in one of those boxes,
there is a million dollars.

-Yeah. Got my attention.
-[all chuckle]

[Jaimi] Go on.

Whoever finds the million dollars
in their room gets to keep it.

But only if they can hide in plain sight
until the end of their stay.

[Lauren] Okay.

Keep your secret. Keep your money.

[Lauren] I hate lying.
So I'm struggling at the morality of it.

And yet, that's the game.

[Peter] It'll be up to
the rest of the guests

to figure out who has the money

and to hunt down their millionaire prey.

[chuckling] What?

We have to k*ll them to get the money.

But pay attention because
the millionaire is also playing a game.

Every day, they will have
their own secret agenda.

If they're successful,

they will win an advantage
that helps protect their secret.

So look out for any odd behavior.

[Sam] I'm kind of really looking forward
to getting to know everybody

and, more importantly,
figuring out who's the liar.

Oh, yeah, by the way,
uh, I'm a New York City cop.

I'm not telling any of these people that.

Cops know things.
We're really good at reading people.

[Peter] Feel free

[Jaimi] This is all about deception.
This is why I'm excited to play.

I am willing and ready to do anything
that I have to do in order to win.

it's about me and this money.

I really hope that when I open up the box
the money's not in there.

I want to lay low,
learn people's tendencies,

learn how they play the game,
and get the million dollars

as close to the end of this game
as possible.

It does me no good
to get a million on day one.

As much as I want to be the millionaire,

I am so scared to be the millionaire,

and I'm terrified to start
that grueling game of deceit.

[knocking on door]

"It is your job to hunt them down."

"They will be doing whatever they can

to keep their secret
and keep their money."

You're the prey.

[groans] I don't want to be prey.

You're the only millionaire in this house,
apart from me.

[chuckles] Well…

"Be observant and look for clues,
and do well in the guest activities."

"Because if you do, you can gain
information or strategic opportunities

to sniff out the millionaire."

But don't worry. You'll have help.

Your secret agenda is the following.

Before the first activity at sundown,
you must hug each of the guests.

Each of them.

And if you accomplish it,
you will get two extra votes

at tomorrow's elimination dinner.

But remember, the guests
are watching everyone for odd behavior.

totally casually,

without them knowing
that it's weird. [laughing]

which must be completed

is look for who's kind of acting weird

and a little bit sketchy.

and we do what's called a pule.

Basically, it's just a prayer,
so somebody else can lead it, please,

which is just holding.

We might need to do that one
at the next meal.

-[Lauren] There you go.

and maybe that was his agenda.

Moving forward,
I'm definitely gonna have my eye on Harry.

And you do that
by contributing to the challenges,

I need to accomplish the agenda
before the challenge begins.

Every minute feels like it counts,

but it's super awkward to hug people
that I'm literally just meeting.

So I think that I just need to capitalize
on any moment

that I have with these people.

Maybe his agenda is to get us all

because they're gonna learn information
about the millionaire,

and the millionaire's me.

And I need to be able to deter
the conversation. [chuckling]

I'd like you to split up into pairs,

where one of you is the runner
and one of you is the code breaker.

I can run fast, but… [chuckling]

[indistinct chatter]

Right now, as far as alliances go,
I am definitely looking at Phil.

I trust his judgment.

-[Lauren] I'm a smart gal.
-Done.

-I need a brain. That'll work.
-[Cara] Okay.

I didn't actually choose my partner.

I just look over,
and there's Sam, staring me down.

I do not trust that girl as far
as I can throw her, man.

Okay. I want you to take a look

[Peter] Here's how it will work.

The runner will be running
an obstacle course.

The code breaker
will be hunting down the runner

with the help of the estate's attack dog.

[barking]

I think Seance is hungry.

Run that back. What?

I don't like it.

[Peter] The runner must run through
the obstacle course,

opening three gates
to make it to the finish line.

At each gate,
there is a lock and four keys.

Only one of the keys will open the lock.

To release the hound,
the code breaker has to solve the lock.

They will find an eight-symbol code.

They must remember it…

-[Seance barking]
-…and then unleash the dog

on their opponent.

[sinister music crescendos]

[Sam clears throat]

[Peter] If the runner can beat the hound
to the finish, then they win.

If the hound catches the runner,

then the code breaker wins.

Let's see who will go first.

Phillip and Sydnee.

-Are you kidding me?
-[all chattering]

When you hear the horn,
the activity will start.

-[guests exclaiming]
-[Lauren] You guys got this.

Peter, your scotch.

[Harry] Boss man enjoying
the whole thing with his drink.

[barking]

Oh sh*t.

[Sydnee] That's a Belgian too.

[continues barking]

[laughing]

[Sydnee] I need to win this challenge

because whatever is waiting for me
in that trophy room

is gonna be a huge advantage
on figuring out who this millionaire is.

-[air horn blowing]
-[Seance barking]

[suspenseful music pulsing]

[Harry] Get it. Come on.

[Jaimi] Run it, Syd.

He's trying to memorize the code
in one go.

[buzzing]

[Peter] Oh no,
he didn't remember. He's back.

Oh wow, that means the code's harder
than we thought.

[suspenseful music intensifies]

[Sydnee] Going through the maze,
I got through the first two gates…

[music fades]

…and the third one sticks.

[Seance barking]

[chimes, buzzes]

[suspenseful music continues]

[cheering]

[guests cheering]

[Peter] So, Sydnee, congratulations.

You defeated Phillip,

and you will be going
into the trophy room.

that I get into the trophy room

and the agendas
are their key to everything.

So we have to get the millionaire out
before they get too powerful to stop.

[Peter] Our first trophy room
is after breakfast.

It'll be a critical moment
for the rest of you to gain information

and work together to hunt the millionaire.

That way, if you get a positive hit,

it's more of a confirmation that the one

and I trust Lauren implicitly.

I'm choosing Corey because same reasoning.
