...I...

I found-- I found the love I grew up with.

I found the exact love I grew up with.

People who tell you they love you

-and mistreat you repeatedly. -Mm-hmm.

[Shay] And then you go back to normal again.

And I know it so well.

My whole life, I've been searching for love

in anyone and anything.

And I thought this relationship was different.

I thought that, like, I had found someone

that really understood me.

And then you can mistreat me

and-and-and bear...

bear witness to me in pain.

Can I ask you, Shay?

I understand that part of what you're feeling is angry.

But we can assume that a lot of that anger

is just a superficial cover-up.

Can you try to speak to Clinton

not from that part of you...

but again, drawing on your friendship,

and talk about how you're feeling.

It doesn't matter.

He doesn't care about my feelings.

If he cared about my feelings, he wouldn't act this way.

[Orna] It doesn't work like that in relationships.

[sighs]

People hurt each other in different ways,

but people are just themselves.

Even when they love other people,

they're just themselves.

I don't think I want to be in a relationship.

How would you feel about taking a break from each other

and coming back next week and continuing to talk?

[Shay] Fine.

[Clinton] Okay.

[Orna] Okay.

Take a deep breath, think about things.

Remember your friendship.

And let's see where you're at next week.

Okay.
