04x24 - Totally Busted! – Parts 1

[filmrise theme]

[beeping]

[theme music]

[moody music playing]

[bubbling]

Ah, so fragrant, so
phony, so sinister.

My SUDS will surely go down
as the most memorable product

in evil invention history!

Not if we have
anything to say about it.

Now drop the bottle, inventor!

It would be my pleasure.

[screaming]

[glass breaking]

OK now that was
just plain rude.

Not to mention messy!

Come on, girls.

Let's get him!

Hold it right there,
you white after Labor

Day wearing super freak!

Sure thing, right
after I introduce

you to a few of my latest
anti-spy endeavors!

Meet the spy fly, a robotic
fly programmed to attack spies.

[buzzing]

[yelling]

Looks like you're going to
have to reprogram that one.

Behold spyvey, a fast-growing
ivy designed to entangle spies.

[pot breaking]

[yelling]

[sound effect]

Hi-yah!

I don't think so.

Next!

[yells]

This one is an evil virus,
designed to infect spies.

I call it the spyrus.

And I call it, lame, as
in your evil invention

days are officially over.

But I was just
starting to have fun.

Tell it to someone who cares,
like your WOOHP prison guard.

Speaking of WOOHP, we
better bring a sample of SUDS

back to Jerry for analysis.

Is it me or do the
villains of the world

just keep getting
wackier and wackier?

They're the wackiest!

Good thing we're secret
agents or else our job

would be way too embarrassing.

Uh-oh.

Incoming!

ALL: [squealing]

[music playing]

Talk about embarrassing.

We almost got taken out
by a bunch of birds.

Luckily, no one
can see us up here.

I can't wait for you girls
to check out the fab new chalet

my parents had built for me.

It, like, redefines
mountain peak chic.

What's happening?

Yeah, what's with
all the funky suds?

It's, um, the new jet
function dad had installed.

Haha.

It's supposed to make you
feel like you're soaking

in an extra foamy cappuccino.

Hahaha.
- Wicked!

- Oh yeah!
- Let's do it.

Yeah.

And it was totally expensive
but totally must-have.

[nervous laughter]

Ah, beach home,
sweet beach home.

I am so glad this day is over.

Me too.

I mean, a girl can only take
so much excitement in one day.

ALL: [gasp]

MOMS: Surprise!

ALL: Mommy?

What are you doing here?

Well, we were all talking
about how long it's been

since we've seen our girls.

And about how
much we missed you.

So we thought why not fly in
from Europe and surprise you?

Oh, you surprised
us all right.

Girls, what are those
peculiar outfits you have on?

These?

These are our, um-- uh--

uh, pajamas.

Yeah, that's it.

Right!

Because we were just about
to have a-- a slumber party.

And what are those strange
looking things on your backs?

They're our, uh--

our portable popcorn makers.

After all, what's a
sleepover without snacks?

ALL: [squeal]

And whatever are those
odd items in your hands?

Oh, you know--

just some boring
run-of-the-mill girlie gadgets.

I mean-- beauty products.

Why do I have the
feeling you girls

are trying to hide something?

Hide?

We're not trying
to hide anything.

Good.

Because you know how mothers
feel about their daughters

keeping secrets.

Trust us, we're
completely secret-free.

[screaming]

OK, it's official.

We're totally busted!

Sorry to call you in so soon
after your last mission, girls.

But WOOHP is having
an enrollment

crisis and I need you to help me
find some new recruits A-S-A-P.

STELLA: They'll
do no such thing.

Oh, my.

That's it.

I want you girls
to explain what's

going on here immediately.

And this time it had
better be the truth.

Go ahead, ladies.

The truth is we're
undercover agents

working for the
World Organization

of Human Protection.

Which is this way important
association for global good--

run by Jerry--
where we defeat all

sorts of international baddies.

We've always wanted
to tell you about it

but couldn't risk revealing
our secret identities.

For our safety and for yours.

But now that you
do know we're, like,

totally hoping you understand.

[growling]

The only thing we
understand is that this

is going to end right now.

Absolutely!

You are to give up your seedy
spy lives without delay.

Actually, being
a spy isn't seedy--

it's noble.

And your girls are invaluable
members of the WOOHP.

I'm sure that's
exactly what the person

responsible for corrupting
our innocent daughters

would like us to think.

Now step aside, Gary.

It's Jerry.

Whatever.

Sam, Clover, Alex--
you are to move back

to your respective
homes right away.

No more beach house
for you young ladies.

No more beach house?

You can't be serious!

Oh, we're serious all right.

Which is why we'll be
sticking around Beverly Hills

until further notice.

Now, you say your goodbyes.

We'll be outside.

Uh, where exactly is outside?

G.L.A.D.I.S.--
would you kindly show

the girls' mothers the way out?

G.L.A.D.I.S.: My pleasure.

MOMS: [screaming]

I-- I can't believe this
is actually happening to us.

Me neither.

I mean, how can our spy
days really be over?

This is, like,
seriously devastating!

I feel a breakout coming on.

I know you're
upset but you girls

need to understand something.

Even though you may not be
working for WOOHP anymore,

being spies is something
that's a part of you.

And no one-- not
even your mothers--

can ever take that away.

Thanks, Jer.

That's totally
sweet of you to say.

Oh, I'm not being
sweet, Clover.

I'm being literal.

You see, you girls-- along with
all of the other WOOHP agents--

share one thing in common.

You all possess a
special spy gene.

Wait a sec--

are you saying that being a spy
is something that's in our DNA?

That's correct.

So even though our
moms just forbade

us from working for WOOHP--

we're technically still spies?

Precisely.

Uh, no offense, Jer,
but why didn't you

tell us this info sooner?

I was waiting for
the right moment.

And considering the
current situation

I thought who might
need some cheering up.

Well, it totally worked.
'Cause now that I've got this

whole spy gene thingy
going for me, I'm feeling

like a major superhero.

Glad to see you're
taking it in stride.

Speaking of taking
it in stride--

what should we do
about our moms?

Yeah, they seem pretty mad.

[sigh] There's only
one thing you can do--

be patient.

I'm sure they'll come
around eventually.

In the meantime, I'm afraid
I'll need to confiscate

your spy accouterments.

Mwah.

Adios, old friend.

I'll miss you.

What do we do
about our spy suits?

G.L.A.D.I.S.: Three civilian
ensembles coming right up.

Thanks, G.L.A.D.I.S.
At least we get

to exit this place in style.

Well, I guess this is goodbye.

For now.

Yeah, thanks for
everything, Jer.

We'll write you every day.

I'll look forward to it.

Now farewell,
girls, and good luck.

ALL: [screaming]

With mothers like yours
you're going to need it.

So what do you say
we hit the Groove

and buy some cute outfits for
lounging around the chalet?

Awesome!

Then we can head
to the salon for

some snow-themed mani-pedis.

I've got a better idea.

Why don't we load up with
really cool gear and hunt down

and eliminate spies?

- OK.
- Cool!

Let's do it.

[music playing]

I know that you're
disappointed, Samantha.

But trust me, being a
spy is far too dangerous

a job for a girl like you.

Yes, mom.

I'll go get the rest of
your things from the car.

Then we can talk about
safer career options--

like being a librarian
or a foot doctor.

Hmm.

Ha!

Huh?

Hii!

Dominique?

What are you doing?

The jig is up, Samikins.

I'm taking you out!

Even if I have to wrinkle my
cute little outfit to do it.

If this is about
me stealing your spot

in the school parking
lot, I'm sorry,

but I was late for a test.

This is about one thing
and one thing only--

me eliminating you.

In that case--

[yelling] Help me!

Ah.

[music playing]

Isn't this special
mother-daughter together

time wonderful, sweetie?

Oh, yeah.

Grocery shopping-- real special.

And now that you're done
with this spy business,

you'll have plenty of time
for more important things.

Like finding a nice boyfriend.

But I don't want to find
a nice boyfriend, mommy.

I want to go back to
doing what I do best--

going on secret missions.

OK then, mommy has a
very special secret mission

for you--

go find me a nice
jar of pickles.

Hm.

Must be around here somewhere.

[gasp]

Ya!

[gasp]

[squeals]

You always look so
innocent in the jar.

Who knew you guys were so nasty?

Caitlin?

That's right!

Now stand still so we
can get this over with.

Oh?

Whoa!

Go ahead, spy-- run away!

I'll be back for you.

ALEX: [laughs] Yeah.

How much further do
you want to go, mother?

We passed that same mailbox,
like, four times already.

A nice long walk is the
perfect way to clear your mind

and make you realize
that being a spy

is nothing a proper
lady should be doing.

[groans] If you had at
your way, ladies would never

set foot out of the kitchen.

What was that, darling?

Nothing, mother.

[gasp] I'll catch up to you
in a sec-- gotta tie my shoe.

[rumbling]

[gasp] Whoa.

Hello, loser!

Mandy?

Time to bounce you out of
Beverly Hills once and for all.

What's with the tacky camo?

And what are you doing
down in the sewer?

Duh!

I'm executing a stealth on
your lame spy existence.

Wait-- you mean you
know I'm a spy too?

Did my mother take
out a full page ad

in the newspaper or something?

Puh-lease!

I am a spy assassin!

I can sniff out a
spy a mile away.

And, sister-- you reek!

All right, you've
crossed the line.

You want a piece of me?

[laughs]

Now who reeks?

MANDY: I'll be back for you!

No spy escapes the
wrath of Mandy!

Ew, it's, like,
totally nast down here.

[phone rings]

- Hello?
- Clover!

You're not going to believe
what I'm about to say.

Somehow I doubt anything
would surprise me at this point.

[phone rings]

Guys, you're
gonna totally flip

when I tell you what happened!

A pickle ambushed
me at the store.

I stand corrected.

That is surprising.

Only it wasn't
really a pickle.

It was Caitlin.

Dominique did the same
thing to me at my mom's house.

And Mandy just went
all sorts of ninja on me.

And get this-- somehow
she knew I was a spy.

No way!

Way.

I say we sneak over to Mandy's
house tonight and snoop

around for some answers.

I don't know.

That sounds an awful
lot like spying to me.

We promised our moms
no one missions.

Hello!

I'm not talking about
doing any actual spying.

Think of it more
like investigating.

SAM & ALEX: Count me in!

See 'em?

Alex, are you here?

Caw caw, caw caw!

OK, what's with
the For Sale sign?

Is this someone's
idea of a joke?

Must be our mothers' work.

And something tells
me they aren't joking.

We can deal with that later.

Right now, we have to figure
out why Mandy and her cronies

are trying to rub us out.

Hey, look.

Isn't that the sample of
SUDS we brought back for Jerry?

Yeah.

Wonder what it's doing
at Mandy's house.

We must have dropped it
when those birds swarmed us.

And with our mothers showing
up unannounced we totally

forgot to send it to WOOHP.

CLOVER & ALEX: Oops.

Uh-oh.

It's half empty.

You don't think any of it got
into Mandy's hot tub, do you?

I seriously doubt it.

MANDY: All right,
troops, gather around.

Being a spy is a lot
harder when you don't

have spy gear on to spy with.

If only we could get
closer to that window.

[grunting]

ALL: [sighing]

Somehow those losers
managed to escape

our first wave of attacks.

So we'll have to be
way more stealthy

during the second wave.

Totally more stealthy.

Oh, yeah.

OK-- starting to
think maybe some

SUDS did get into the hot tub.

There's gonna
be a second wave?

The first wave was bad enough.

Which is why we need to
put an end to this right now.

STELLA: Hold it
right there, Clover.

ALL: [gasping]

Mother?

Stop spying and come down from
that tree this instant, Sam.

You too, Alex.

On the double.

But it's not
what it looks like.

Something way
major is going down

and we have to do something
about it right away.

I couldn't agree more.

- Really?
- Yes.

We have to do
something about you

three constantly disobeying us.

You insist on keeping
secrets and going on missions.

So you've left
us with no choice.

You are no longer
allowed to see each other

As in-- we can't
hang out anymore?

Or talk on the phone.

Or send emails.

But-- but this isn't fair!

We're best friends!

You can't keep us apart!

What is with all
the racket down there?

Our girls are
completely out of control.

We need to do something
to make them respect us.

Whatever it is--

we need to get tough.

You're right, I think I'll
give Sam a surprise phone call

right now to check up on her.

[music playing]

I don't believe it.

SUDS contains the
exact spy gene Jerry

told us about the other day.

SUDS-- Simple Minded
Users Destroy Spies.

[gasp] So that means when
exposed to the genes--

SUDS users are turned into
super-charged spy hunters.

[phone rings]

Hello?

Sam, this is your mother.

I just wanted to
check up on you.

Are you staying out of trouble?

Uh, yes, mother.

Just doing my homework.

OK then.

I want you in bed by the time
I get home from the Groove.

Understand?
- All right.

Good night, mom.

Drop the lattes, spy moms!

You are coming with us.

[screaming]

Mom?

Are you there?

Mom!

Mom?

Oh no, this must
be the second wave.

I better call Clover and Alex.

Stay away from us,
you-- you, th*gs.

Yeah right.

Your daughters are the
ones who are the the th*gs.

Yeah!

If they weren't spies we
wouldn't have to rub you up.

You see?

More trouble caused
by this spy business.

Now, now, just be good little
mommies and come with us.

Get away from me.

Ew!

Don't you dare touch me
with that nasty faux leather

fossil of a purse!

Hey, no more games.

Get moving.

Help!

Unhand us.

[cackling]

This ought to lead those
pesky spies right to us.

[laughing]

[tires squealing]

Where are they?

I don't know.

But if Mandy touches
a single hair

on my mother's
tragically outdated coif,

she'll seriously regret it.

CLOVER: Look!

It's my mother's cell phone.

Come on!

There they are!

Quick, grab the bumper.

[cackling]

Great, our mothers are gone.

And it's all our fault!

[music playing]
