14x13 - Parker Comes Alive

Post by bunniefuu »

Halfway through
the season,

chaos continues to reign

for the King of the Klondike,
Tony Beets.

With just 462
of his 6,000 ounce gold

in the bank and a devastating
breakdown last week,

Tony has paused mining
at the Indian River

and he's moving
his entire crew

back to the heart
of his gold mining empire.

His tried
and tested ground

at Paradise Hill is stripped,

thawed, and ready to sluice.

But first he needs his

back up and running.

Last season,

Tony's eldest son
and head mechanic, Kevin

discovered the trommel's ring

was catastrophically damaged.

This part here is about
ready to snap off.

But at the start
of the year...

...Kevin decided
not to return

to the family business.

Like,
we just got the house,

we'd like to actually do
something with it.

With Kevin gone,

Tony has spent three months
fixing the trommel

and now halfway
through the season,

he's finally ready
to reassemble it.

Tony first planned
to lift

the 40 ton steel barrel
off the wash plant's

and move it out of the way.

Then the skid and its rollers

will be lifted gently
by two excavators

at either end of its frame

and carefully walked

to the plant's new path.

The trommel barrel will then
be put back onto the skid

and will be one step closer

to bringing in
some much needed gold.

Without Kevin,

Tony's relying
on his other kids

to make the move a success.

Tony.

My radio is no longer working.

he's mad.

Now, we are lifting the skid.

The barrel removed,

the team repositions
to lift the skid.

I don't know
what Tony's plan is,

but he's in a hurry,

he wants to get sluicing,

and I think
it's kind of clicking
with T. Beets that,

gotta start getting gold.

It's gotta happen now.

Okay. So--

What?

Mike and Monica
must work in perfect unison

to carry the 4-ton
steel skid to the path.

Oh,
that was the wrong way.

I am so sorry.

Okay.

Quit getting mad at me.

I can.

You want me to go that way?

I'm trying--

I'm trying to ask you.

Like this?

Okay.

I can't hear you.

That way?

Where? Right here?

Hi.

What do I need to do?

Uh--

Because I was
turning before,

because I was 100% sure
I've been told to turn.

I'd rather you didn't film
me crying,

but that's fine, I don't...

Guess I don't really care.

Obedience through fear

-never works properly.

And I feel like
that's the only way

Tony Beets
knows how to manage.

I know I don't
really understand

what he wants me to do,
so it's probably

one of the things
pissing him off.

But I don't know
what I don't know

and if he won't tell me,
I can't fix the problem.

So we'll see
what he wants to do next.

Tony finally
has the skid on its new path,

but he's still a long way
from washing rocks.

I'm glad that's
done with.

The only thing
we can do is go forward,

so hopefully he's
calmed himself down

and tried to regulate himself

and hopefully we are
one step closer
to actually sluicing.

We finally got Big Red
up and running

for the first time this year,

and so far so good.

Halfway through
his season,

Parker Schnabel's operation

is finally running
at full throttle.

It's good to have
two plants going, you know,

we can't survive
off of just one
sluice box anymore.

At Ken
and Stewart's,

Sluicifer's washing dirt
in the El Dorado cut.

And after spending
three months

getting down to pay
at Dominion,

Big Red is sluicing
the money pit.

If the team can
keep it running all week,

Parker will finally get a read
on whether or not

his $15 million gamble
will pay off.

If there's no gold in it,
we're wasting a lot of time.

But it's just
very different ground
than we've been mining.

So far Parker
has mined

over 1,600 ounces of gold

towards his 5,000
breakeven point.

We're gonna keep the wings
of Sluicifer separate.

I will clean them
like two separate cleanups.

Gold recovery
expert Chris Doumitt

processes the first
cleanup of the week

from the El Dorado cut.

We have a real problem here.

Unfortunately,
this right wing's

got way too much gold in it.

It shouldn't be here,
it should be in the main.

There definitely could be
something wrong with Sluicifer

if you have a lot of gold
in one wing

and not the other.

Something's not right.

Hey, Parker, I think
we've got a problem, man.

It looks like we have real
uneven gold in the wings

on down here at Sluicifer.

That's no good.

There must be something wrong
with the plant.

Let me talk to Tyson.

Sluicifer
is Parker's only steady
money maker,

and he can't afford
for it to be losing any gold.

We just need
a good consistent
wash plant running.

But we're not getting that.
We need the money coming in.

Mitch is away. So Tyson
needs to be keeping it going

With foreman
Mitch Blaschke away on leave,

it's down
to plant boss Tyson Lee

to keep both of Parker's
wash plants running.

How you doing?

Good, how are you?

Um, you have
a problem with Sluicifer.

So you have
a feed direction problem

or a chute that's blocked off

down in the distributor
or something.

Something's going on.

Like, guaranteed
we're losing some gold

based on those numbers, right?

Did you notice anything wonky?

I did notice that the water
was flowing on
the right-hand side

of the right wing,

but with it vibrating,
it could just sort of
walk over a bit.

So we're
kind of up?

We need this thing
banging rocks.

To prevent
further potential gold loss,

Tyson first checks to see
if the plant is level.

You take a look
at our level here,

the plant leaning downhill.

I have a feeling it's probably
leaning towards the right too.

So, yeah.

So, Sluicifer
is settled into place

and it's kind of leaning
towards the tailings conveyor

towards the right wing.

We're gonna
shut down the plant,

get the excavators staged up
in the front

start to lift the wash plant.

Sluicifer
is not sitting straight

and is leaning to one side.

This unevenness is channeling
gold concentrate

into the sluice box's
right wing,

causing the riffles to clog.

When the riffles
become too full,

the gold can't be caught

and is lost washing out
the end of the box.

Tyson needs to lift the plant,

level it,
then build up the pad

to balance
the distribution of pay
across the sluices

and capture all the gold.

So right now I've got
the 480 hooked up

to the right-hand side
of Sluicifer.

I'm gonna hook the 750 up
to the left-hand side
of the pontoon,

and then, we'll try and do
a dead lift the Sluicifer.

We tuned some stuff under it.

Hopefully these machines
have enough jam

to lift this plant,
'cause this plant is heavy.

And we don't just
have to lift it,

we have to keep it lifted

while we're putting material

underneath it to level it.

Combined,
the two excavators

are rated to deadlift
around 50 tons.

A fully assembled Sluicifer
weighs in at 45 tons.

Okay.

All right. You got the strong
man symbol on your excavator?

Always.

Okay. I'm ready when you are.

Yeah. Started lifting.

Nice and slow.

-Plant's heavy.
- Sluicifer
is a heavy,

that's the issue.

Yeah.

Hey, Evan,
you got a copy? Evan?

Yes, sir.

If you want
to come up here and give me
a hand. Thanks.

Tyson calls in
a loader

to help lift
and steady the plant.

All right, Evan, tilt up.

Well, we have the plant
sitting pretty happy now.

Now, we just have to put
material under the plant.

For the piece of wood
I just shoved under there.

Yeah.

He's gonna
have a hell of a life
where he's going.

Try and keep it
sitting where it is right now.

Hopefully it
stays here.

How's that side
looking, Tyson?

Oh yeah.

Well, there you go.

Now Sluicifer is all set.

All right. I'm gonna send
some dirt this way.

We are ready to sluice.

We're running.

Dirt's coming through.

Hopefully everything
stays level this time.

Dude.

How's things?

Eh, it's going.

How are you doing?

I... There's a...

I mean, a load
of stress here as always.

Man, that was the only thing

I was really worried about
when I left. Like...

-Yeah.
- I wanted to make sure
you were good.

Yeah.

Just because you have more
on your plate this year.

That's one of the reasons...

Main reason
I was calling you is, uh,

not having a full-time
mechanic is really...

Well, first of all,
it scares the hell outta me.

And second of all,
it's just...

It's something I need to add,
you know what I mean?

Like, but there's just...
There's just nobody up here.

Um, I mean, I know a guy.

He's a diesel mechanic.

Does he have his own truck?

He does. He's got his own...

All his own tools
and stuff like that.

Well, yeah.
I'll have to have you send me
his contact information.

Yeah, and if he
doesn't work out,

I mean, I'm not up there
for you to yell at me,
so, yeah.

All right, buddy.
Well, I'll talk to you soon.

-All right.
-Yeah. See you.

All I can do really
is give this guy a call,

feel him out,
see if he's interested.

And if he is, get him up here,
give him a shot.

So this year is important,
you know,

it's important that I make
a comeback and I succeed.

After a year
off mining,

Rick Ness is fighting to prove

he still got what it takes
to be a gold miner.

The crew's running
the Bacon Strip

looking for 1,000 ounce
this year.

That's what I'm gonna need
to be able to,

you know,
keep coming back here.

Otherwise, you know,

might be one and done.

Halfway through
the season,

Rick's hauled in 228 ounces,

not even a quarter
of his goal.

And the gold
from his latest cut,

the Bacon Strip,

is barely keeping
the operation afloat.

The boys are buzzing today.

While the crew
works to mine it out

by the end of the week,

Rick is working solo
to open a new cut,

which he believes
will give them a big score.

I'm up here
on this bench cut, um,

just doing what I can,
trying to get a strip
by myself here

so that we can move up here

and just start
running this pay dirt.

The one thing that
I'm really missing up here

is a full-time mechanic.

I talked to Zee about a guy,

so try to get him up here
and give him a shot.

- What's going on, Buzz?

Tonight?

Family stuff, you know,
comes first all the time.

Last week,
Rick's foreman Buzz Legault

revealed his wife Susi

is seriously ill.

If there's anything
you need me to do,
just let me know.

-All right. All right.

Take care of business, bud.
All right. Good luck.

For Buzz to leave,
you know, it's gonna
leave me shorthanded,

but there's no way
I'm gonna tell him, no,

he can't go
take care of his family.

I definitely want him
to get back
as soon as he can,

but in the meantime,
it'd be a lot better

if I had a full-time
mechanic on site.

With their
foreman leaving

and the new mechanic
yet to arrive,

Rick's operation is left
in a precarious position.

We haven't had
a mechanic all season.

Buzz's been
taking care of that.

He's a great guy
to have around.

In the 330
excavator,

operator Trey Charlie
feeds Bacon Strip

pay dirt
into wash plant, Rocky.

While new hire Bailey Carten

removes tailings
in the loader.

It's definitely on me and Trey

to keep everything
running smoothly.

Hopefully nothing
major happens.

We're moving
some dirt today, hey?

Man,
you're slinging there, buddy.

We'll get that thousand
ounce gold, no problem.

Oh, yeah, buddy.

Hopefully there's lots
of gold in this material.

Since we're digging
a bit deeper.

I would say
it's definitely promising.

me. .

Hey, Rick, you got a copy?

Uh, there's something wrong
with this loader.

Can you come over
and take a look?

It's just behind the pay pile.

Yeah. So the loader
just suddenly stopped
for some reason.

Who knows what's the problem?

You know,
it's definitely not caused
from me, hopefully.

What's going on?

I just drove up,
dumped it, back up,

engine just suddenly stopped.

. Um, I would just,
uh, shut it off.

-Yup.
- Yeah. All right.

-Sounds good.
-Thanks, man.

So I'll get someone
to look at it.

We just gonna
have to limp along.

The loader's been down
for quite a while.

The plant's gotta be running
at full capacity,

but it's kind of a mess
down there with that loader
being down.

At Duncan Creek,

Rick Ness' only loader
has been down two days

and he's still waiting
for a new mechanic to arrive.

Yeah, it's definitely
not an efficient way

to have two machines going.

Two people,
you know, normally,

should only take one machine,
one person.

But right now,
we're just gonna have to do

what we can do until, uh,
the loader gets fixed.

To keep
Rocky running,

the Ness Crew have
to use an excavator

and rock truck
to clear tailings.

Hey, Rick.
Looks like we have a visitor.

Okay. Awesome.
I'll be right down there.

Hopefully, he's legit.

Otherwise, he just drove
a long ways for nothing.

Hey.

- Hey. How you doing?
-Can't believe you found us.

-Yeah. It's kinda hard
to find actually.
-Yeah.

I was hoping
to hit a paved road,

but that's not gonna
happen out here.

Yeah, not at all.

And that is Rick Ness.

-What's going on, man?
- What's up man?

-You Ryan?
- Yes, sir.
How you doing?

-Good.
-Good to meet you.

Welcome to Yukon.
What do you think?

Uh, that was a hell
of a drive up here.

I've heard a lot
of good things about you
from Zee, obviously.

And we've been struggling,
you know, without a mechanic.

I mean, maintenance-wise,
we've done what we can,

-but, you know,
we're falling behind.
- Mmm-hmm.

You know, we push
these machines 12 hours a day,

you know how that is,
and we do what we can,

but, you know,
things are suffering.

Zee's told me a lot about what
you have going on here, so...

I mean, there's a ton
of excitement about it,

but, uh, you know,
I wanna be honest with you,
upfront with you,

have not done
a bunch on the mine.

-Yeah. No, I've never...
-You know--

never had a chance
to mess with a plant.

I mean, you've been
around equipment, right?

Yeah, been around equipment.

You know, but there's not
a thing out here

that I won't learn
and I won't pick up quick.

And, uh, you know,
hours don't bother me.

Grabbing a shovel
doesn't bother me.

If you want me
to jump in a machine,

I don't have an issue
doing that.

Um, well, I mean,
like I said...

I mean we push
these machines hard

and then without
a full-time mechanic,
we've been doing our best

to keep up on maintenance,
stuff like that.

But we've got
a couple machines that
definitely need some love.

So, unload your
dive right in.

-All right, man.

-But, hey, man,
good to meet you.
-Hey. Good seeing you.

-Happy you're here.
-All right. See you in a bit.

Well, we're gonna
put him to work.
See what he's got.

I met Zee on Facebook

and, uh, honestly
the reason I came here

was 'cause Zee begged me.

I take a huge risk
coming up here
and not making any money,

and bailing on the company.

Mechanic Ryan Kent

owns a 24-hour truck
and trailer repair business,

but he's never fixed
a broken loader.

Honestly, it's just
gonna better our business

back in the States.

It's huge that we get
the box full of gold,

they'll put it back
into the company,

buy better equipment,
buy better tools.

So, it's definitely a big deal
to make sure we get

all the gold in the box
that we possibly can.

So how's it looking
on this side?

Helping Ryan
is Camp Cook,

Travis Kinakin.

Okay. Let's go ahead
and flip it up.

Yup, yup, yup.

Oh, the fuel line broke.

that sucks.

.

I guess we, kind of .

The fuel line
injects fuel to the engine.

Without it,
the loader can't run.

It's not
repairable, eh?

No.

You can see.
It's just completely...
It's just sheared.

Yeah.

Hmm. How do I wanna do this?

At least we have
a part number.

Of course,
didn't do us any good.

It's not like being down
in the States

where I can go pick one up
from the parts store.

The nearest store
is a 12-hour round trip.

Time they just can't afford.

Obviously, the most important
thing here is running pay,

getting gold in the box.
So, you know,

we can't sacrifice the loader

'cause it's the only one
we got, so...

We're gonna have
to sacrifice a haul truck.

To get the loader
back in action,

Ryan will decommission
a rock truck

and transplant
its injector line

into the loader.

There's no easy fix
around here.

So, let's hope
we can make the stretch.

Simple steel, uh,
braided line for fuel.

Uh, unfortunately,
it's a simple part,

but nothing is simple
out here.

So, we're gonna have
to take it out of this truck

and get it back in the loader.

That way we can at least get
the loader back to work.

-Oof.
-Yeah.

It's gonna be tight, huh?

.

One of 'em will
break in two,

then we're having two
machines down.

No, don't do that.

.

I don't know
if this will work.

The bends...
The length is fine.

The bends are different

and I'm really nervous
to even try bending this one

as brittle
as the other one is.

I'm learning quick here.

Okay. Fuel line's back in.

I'm gonna put everything
back together.

Uh, we'll button everything up
and make sure

everything's tight
and we'll get it fired up.

See if we got her fixed.

All right.
I'm gonna turn the power on.

See what we got.

No leaks yet?

Seems to be idling smooth.

Right, back to her.

Hopefully she holds up.
Hey, boys?

- Uh, you're good.
- Good.

Rick's loader
up and running,

his crew are back in the race

to mine out the Bacon Strip
by the end of the week.

Let's, uh,
keep our fingers crossed.

It's hard
to keep it together

when you're so spread out.

And, you know, we're mining
three different properties,

um, it can cause
so many issues,

and if you don't have
people that are, you know,

up for the challenge.

At Parker's
leased El Dorado cut,

Sluicifer's catching
consistent gold,

but with Bill's mounting,

his future will be determined

by his own
Dominion Creek ground.

I don't know
how much spare is gonna
be there, you know?

And that's a little scary.

I'm just feeding
Big Red.

I'm here by myself
doing the tailings and, uh,

keeping an eye on everything.

It gets a bit busy.

Operator,
Tatiana Costa feeds Big Red

with 190 yards of money
pit pay dirt an hour.

Oh, .

It looks like the water's
getting weaker and weaker.

Hey, Tyson.
You got a copy, Tyson?

It looks like the pump
the bed.

I've already
radioed the mechanics

so they should be here
anytime soon.

All right, Tat.
Thanks for the heads-up.

That's where it was smoking.

- Right here?
-Yeah.

We're done.

Hmm.

The one looks, uh,
bearings rolling around.

Yeah. No, we're done.

-No good?
- It's...

There's, like, a ball bearing

or a needle bearing
or something

-rolling around on there.
- Mmm-hmm.

And, like, if we run it,

and it gets caught
between two gears,

then, like,
we'll have massive--

Massive destruction.

This is not gonna
be a right-now fix.

Okay.

What a piece of history.

We could be a museum.

At Dominion Creek,

Big Red is shut down
with a dead water pump,

leaving Parker's crew

reaching back into the past.

Oh, this is an old pump
that was out
in the old pump boneyard.

Some pump off a dredge.

Parker's mechanics
are resurrecting

an ancient water pump
from a 1950s dredge.

All right. We're getting
this one put together
so it can replace it

and, uh, Big Red can run
at full speed with this thing.

Because of the timeline,

we've pulled everybody off

everything they were doing,
and we have, like,

every mechanic in the yard
working on this thing.

- Yeah.
- We...
Well, the problem is,

is the plant's now
not running.

And it hasn't run all night.

Parker
has already lost

costing $40,000

in lost gold production.

So here we go,
out with the old.

Tyson removes
the old broken pump

to make space
for its replacement.

We're really putting
the whole faith,

the operation up here
at Dominion

with Big Red
on this new water pump.

If it has issues,
we won't be sluicing.

Here it is.

New pump just in time.

That's a pretty
sweet looking crane.

Just gotta get
this pump in place
and hopefully it works.

That'll do, donkey.

So there we go, Jordy.
We got the pump in.

I'm impressed that you guys
were able to get this thing
together that fast.

Last time I checked,
it's what pays the bills.

No doubt.
Well, nice work, man.

-Let's get back to sluicing.
-Okay.

After 20 hours
of downtime,

Big Red is finally back
on the gold.

We're back
to sluicing.

Two running wash plants,
double the amount of gold,

double the amount of pay,

double the amount of profit.

So, today,
I am running rock truck.

I haven't run rock truck
in, like, forever.

And the reason
I'm on a rock truck

is because T. Beets is going,

uh, a little haywire.

The pressure
to get on the gold

is getting to Tony Beets.

With tensions running high
after they clashed
while moving the trommel,

Tony has demoted
daughter, Monica,

to hauling pay
from the Super Pit.

With having
the trommel taken apart

and moving to a new spot,

you know, it's definitely
taking a toll on the T. Beets.

I'm taking the ring off
of the trommel today.

And my dad decided to do it
with no else around,

so it's just me and him.

Yup.

Sometimes
it's simple that way.

Okay.

The trommel's

has two outer running rings

held in place by metal wedges.

Tony and Mike need to remove
the damaged ring

from the end of the trommel

and replace it
with a new spare,

then secure it in place
with wedges.

Once complete,
Tony will lift the barrel

and move it to its skid

at the wash plant's new path.

The worst thing
is taking
the ring off.

Victory!

Oop, oop.

Okay.

Sometimes, you just gotta
get nasty with .

Once in position,

the wedges need to be
hammered in

to hold the ring in place.

My argument stick.

I don't wanna miss
and hit you.

Ring secured,

it's time to put
the barrel back on the skid.

Any damage to
the trommel during the move

could end Tony's season.

You're clear.

So he calls
in Monica to direct

as he and Mike operate
the 950 and 750 excavators.

I like how this time
instead of everybody
moving sideways,

they're just walking forward.

That seems like a smarter way

to move the trommel
than we did.

You can start
straightening out.

So Michael turns
and you keep coming in, Tony.

A little bit too much
you need to go Tony's way

about a foot and a half.

Okay. Good.

Michael, whoa, whoa.

Go that way.

Perfect.

You're in, Tony.

Over halfway
through the season,

Tony's trommel is in position

and on the edge of catching
Paradise Hill gold.

There's a lot of
work to be done here still.

We need to put
the sluice box in,

we need to make sure
everything's level,

and we gotta
put a pipeline in.

I know we're short on people,

but we're gonna have
to figure something out.

Kevin.

How's it going?
What's up?

It goes horribly.

Is it that bad?

You guys might wanna
come up to help out.

We're gonna have
to talk about it.

Oh,
Ryan's first cleanup.

I'm watching, I'm learning.

End of Bacon Strip,
last clean out.

We've been busy running it
for two years.

It's kept us afloat.

Now, we're onto bigger
and better things.

Make a quick stop
at the Bench Cut

and then, right after that,
we're back in Rally Valley.

Where's the nuggets at?

It's cool, man.

Cool to see the reward.

It's addicting.

You gotta have a lot of trust
in everybody.

Why?

The bringing up trust

is the one that
you gotta watch.

That's the end
of the Bacon Trip, huh?

But we're gonna move on
to bigger and better things.

It gave us what it had.

That really saved our bacon.

-Cheers.
-Oh, yeah.

-Let's party.
-Woo-hoo.

-We made it here.
- you, Bacon Cut.

Welcome to your first
gold weigh.

Everything out here
looks like gold to me.

All right.
As long as you can fix our
, it doesn't matter.

Oh, howdy.

Buzz,
how did the trip go?

- It went.
- It was all right?

-Yeah.
- Well,
I'm glad you're back.

Why does it seem like
there's more of us?

Oh, yeah, that's when
we got a mechanic this week.

-Yeah, finally.
-Hey, how you doin'?

Yeah, it's just some
random guy here.

You... You've got a hell
of a crew here, man.

I don't even know,
they're weird,

but they're really good.

-They're weirdos.
- Uh-huh. Stop.

-No, it's great...

It's great
having you here, Ryan.

How do you feel?
Are you ready?

-You ready to go?
-This week has been tough

-being away from home...
-Yeah.

but I wouldn't change it
for the world.

I wanna be wanted
to fix

and I wanna see a good crew
work together,

and I think you got
everything right here, man.

-Good. Thank you.
-Yeah, appreciate you, dude.

-Welcome.
-Welcome.

Well, we ran for most
of the week.

Big things were at the end
of the Bacon Strip.

Gold hasn't been great,
it filled the gap.

I'm not... I'm not unhappy
that it's over.

Well, the good thing
is we did get another week's
worth of gold out of it,

-so I got a jar over here
and maybe we'll weigh it up.

- Read 'em, Ryan.
- Let's do it.

- All right.
- All right.

So far,
the Bacon Strip

has averaged 25 ounces a week.

Worth over $57,000.

Bringing Rick's season
total to 257 ounces.

Not the best numbers
but it's keeping us alive.

I'm excited to get
to the Bench Cut.

I don't know about you guys,
but I think better gold's
in our future.

All right. do it.

Sweet.

-Ooh.

I'm extremely happy with Ryan
being here, he fits right in.

He's the guy
I've been looking for.

You know, all we need now
is better gold,

um, you know,
the Bacon Strip paid out,

it kept us going,
but this Bench Cut,

I think, is really gonna
take us to another level.

And, you know,
I'm building a team

and that's what I'm most
excited about.

Now, all we need
is a ground with gold in it.

Well, man, it was
really nice to get home.

And how did the week
go up here?

A lot of back
and forth, putting out fires.

-Yeah.
-Had a big issue

with Sluicifer, but hopefully
it's been rectified.

Doumitt, you're the one
who's gonna tell us that.

We got it
balanced out.

You can see the gold
was distributed...

- Okay.
-very evenly, yeah.

- That's good.
-Thank you for doing that.

Let's turn this puppy on
and see what we got, huh?

To be on track

for his 5,000-ounce
season target,

Parker needs a 300-ounce week.

First up, the El Dorado cut.

We'll do
Sluicifer first,

see if your adjustment
paid off, huh?

- Mmm-hmm.
- So here we go.

Let's do it.

We got 20, 40,

Worth $336,800.

- Not bad. Solid.
- Terrific, yeah.

Yeah. So that...
That's gonna give us
a tad bit closer.

Ready to see
what I hit around on Big Red

at Dominion's all about here?

This is really our
first proper run isn't it?

- Yeah.
- You got
the big thermos,

it's looking heavy,
two-hander.

Nice and heavy.

Yeah, it's a two-hander
that's for sure.

If you're...
If you're faking that...

You nervous, Parker?

Let's see
if it's 100 ounces,

I'm gonna be upset, Chris.

So much riding
on this, right?

It's Big Red's
first full week
in the money pit.

For Dominion to be viable,

Parker needs to see
at least 230 ounces.

Dominion money pit.

Keep going.

Keep her going. 230, 240, 250.

Is it... Is it gonna
be 300? 300.

Plus, it wouldn't all fit
in the thermos.

What do you
got in that one?

Can that scale go that high?

-Yeah, I'm pushing it.
- 340, 350,

Or gee, we're 400 now.

-Thank .

- Oh.
- Nice.

Yeah.

-It's smoking down there.

That's good ground.

That's relieving.

Well,
I wasn't faking it, Parker.

-That's--
- Yeah,

-I'm glad you weren't.
- It's heavy.

'Cause I was gonna
be pretty upset.

You know, we know
we named it the right name,

it's the money pit
'cause it's got
a lot of money.

Yeah, gotta get three
or four plants down there.

-Don't even start.

- Yeah.
-That gives us for the week,

Worth over
$1,150,000.

So our season total
is 2,222.4 ounces.

- Almost halfway.
- Almost halfway.

Yeah, we're getting there.

All righty, guys.
We'll catch you later.

Bucket full
of gold there, Parker.

Been a long time since
we've seen one like that.

Some more 600-ounce
weeks would be good.

That looks nice there.

-Yeah.
-I'd like to see more of that.

It's a good start.

Yeah.
