The RV will lose its home

for the half pipe.

- I kind of think we should

You know, we can extend it

as far back as we want.

I think the chassis will hold it.

- I set this diagram up here where we could kind

of set the guidelines if you want.

wind swept moving half pipe will push

- Looks like I'm the only one here.

- [Host] Looks like Jeff slept in his car.

[engine revving]

- I slept through the alarm clock

through the phone call

and woke up scared.

Have you ever been scared up?

Like, "Oh my God, where am I?

That was what happened this morning

and just walking around for minute.

Like, "What the [beep]?

Where am I?" [metal clinking]

So yeah.

I'm here to work now I'm gonna get [beep].

What did I miss?

- What time did you get here?

- 8:30 like we were supposed to be.

- Nobody was here, huh? - Nope.

- [Host] Are the wheels starting

to come off this team of hot rodders and skaters?

- Where's Nigel?

Where's Nigel?

You know what I mean?

- Right now I'm not really concerned

about what people who aren't here,

what they're doing.

I'm just concerned about the people that are here

and getting know we can get done.

- Yeah. - Yeah.

- Why don't we just concentrate on the

day and we'll see what happens.

- Yeah. [upbeat funky music]

- I just wanted to make sure that

this morning everybody knew

what they were gonna be doing

and that we wouldn't have

anybody wandering around.

We're getting down to the wire.

- [Host] At 9:30 AM 14 sheets of plywood arrive.

But now they have no carpenter to go to.

[register dinging] [funky guitar music]

and works their way through the plywood,

but they're still trying

to catch up from yesterday.

We need you to put your weight [grungy rock music]

Just lay down on it.

[grungy rock music]

- We're a little behind.

So I think everybody got

a little too relaxed yesterday.

All week I've been telling people to

not count their chickens till they're hatched.

- Do your deal. - Yeah.

- Wait, I gotta, I gotta wait for a little bit.

I wanna wait until.

- I gotta wait until he is not around.

- Dude.

- [Host] Looks like Jeff is hatching something

and it's not chickens.

- I wanna paint over that thing.

- [Host] Ramp Logic, a local

skateboarding company has donated

the use of one of their ramps

for this build week.

Jeff's company also makes ramps

and he's not happy to see one

of his competitors getting exposure on the show.

- I wanna paint over that thing.

- [Host] So what does he do?

He spray paints over the Ramp Logic logo.

You can take a skateboarder out of the street,

but you can't take the street

out of a skateboarder. [thunder crashing]

When the show's producer finds out

a heated argument ensues.

- [Producer] That shows no respect for us

and what we're doing here, okay?

- What are yelling at me for right now?

- [Producer] Because we told you

once not to do it. - Okay, okay.

And where's it gonna get us?

I did it and I did it, that's it.

And that's all.

- [Producer] Listen, you have no respect for

what we're telling you here.

Is that what we're about here?

- I just wanna build a ramp. - [Producer] Half pipe.

- You don't care. - [Producer] I do care.

- No you don't.

Why do you care?

That doesn't matter.

You know what matters?

This guy right here.

This guy matters right here.

- This is like what you do.

Don't [beep] what I do. [grungy rock music]

- [Host] The end result.

Jeff walks out, the team is down another man.

- I think I've lost my entire crew.

All I need is bodies.

I may just go get some people off the street,

hold the screw and you go like that.

That's all I need.

- Losing Jeff is gonna hurt us.

- Lost a couple people.

Nigel not being around here,

that kind of hurt us.

I miss that guy.

He was a good worker.

- It does hurt when we lose a crew member.

We were all brought in as a team.

- [Host] Jesse missed all the drama.

What does he think?

- We're still just me and five guys.

Well six counting Jason.

Do I look fat?

I'm starting to feel fat.

[tools whirring] [grungy rock music]

- [Host] A good leader knows when his team needs

to blow off some steam.

[grungy rock music]

- We gotta do the ramp armor.

- [Host] After the ride,

a meeting on the half pipe.

- Decks, right?

- Yep.

- I think that's it.

[grungy rock music]

- [Host] Back to the plywood.

These guys still have a lot

of work to get through before

they call this day a day.

[grungy rock music] [tools whirring]

- Oh, there's actual

skateboarding going on right now.

- [Host] Body Drop, then Mike

become the first skaters to

hit the monster half pipe.

[tools whirring]

Then Body Drop hits the sheets of ramp armor.

- We did all the pilot holes.

There's a counter sink bit that's on there.

'Cause you don't want a screw sticking up

above the surface when you slide

on over the panel.

- [Host] Time to give their half pipe some skin.

[grungy rock music]

[tools whirring]

Instead, he is in plywood

where you use like a polypropylene

panel half inch, which is, you know,

waterproof and has a good.

- No splinters?

- No splinters, easy to work with.

- Well they put the ramp armor over my list

so I forgot what we were gonna do.

I wrote it on the plywood.

- [Host] One thing Jesse always

remembers to do,

make a set of monster certified exhaust pipes.

[tools whirring] [grungy rock music]

[tools whirring] [grungy rock music]

- Does that look about right? [metal clinking]

[tools whirring]

See if that fires up.

[engine revving]

It sounds good.

It's gonna be a total throw

people on left because they're gonna hear this.

They'll be looking for a hot rod

and they're gonna see a skateboard ramp

with loud pipes.
