03x07 - Valentine's Day Mix-Up/A Stinky Story

Post by bunniefuu »

[theme music playing]

Both: Bark! Bark!

Bingo and Rolly,
couple of puppies

-They bark and chase and chew
-Both: Bark!

And a guy named Bob
who makes up inventions

A couple puppies can use

-But when Bob's away
-See you later, pups!

The pups will play-ay-ay
On a mission 'round the world

Tryin' to save the day

-Pup-pup-pup Puppy Dog Pals
-Both: Bark! Bark! Bark!

-Pup-pup-pup Puppy Dog Pals
-Both: Bark! Bark! Bark!

[record scratching melody]

-Pup-pup-pup Puppy Dog Pals
-Both: Bark! Bark!

-Pup-pup-pup Puppy Dog Pals
-Both: Bark! Bark! Bark!

-[dog tag tinkling]
-[barking]

-Bingo/Rolly: "Valentine's Day Mix-up!"
-[trolley bell rings]

Bob: La-la-la-la!

[humming]

La-la-la-la-la!

Wee! [laughs]

[panting]

-Rolly! I found Bob!
-There's our Bob!

Look how happy he is, Bingo!

Oh, Valentine's Day is a happy day
A happy day, a happy day

Oh! [laughs]

I can't wait to go to the Valentine's Day
dance party with Ana tonight!

I'm gonna give her this valentine
I made especially for her!

[Bob's recorded voice]: Ha!

-Ana's gonna love it, Bob.
-Yeah, Bob!

That's a fine-looking valentine!

-[both barking]
-[laughs] But first, I gotta go to work!

Now, where is that red envelope? Ah!

I'll leave this on my desk
to be ready for me

to give to Ana before
the dance party tonight.

[gasps] Let's follow Bob
to wave goodbye as he leaves!

[gasps] Oh, that sounds pup-tastic!

-Happy Valentine's Day, Ana!
-Happy Valentine's Day, Bob.

How goes it with the grooming?

Aah, the blow-dryer's busted,
but ARF is helping out.

[ARF whirring]

-[poofs]
-[grunts, laughs]

What? What's so funny, Rufus?

I look like a furry balloon!

[ARF playing electronic music]

Valentine!

Valentine's Day is also my sister
Bonnie's birthday!

She's way far away in Venice, Italy,

and I need to mail her a birthday card.
ARF, can you print me a mailing label

that has her address?

It would be ARF's robo-pleasure!
[rattles, beeps]

Uh-oh! I left Bonnie's
birthday card in the other room!

ARF, would you mind mailing it?
I'm in a real rush.

It would also be
ARF's robo-pleasure.

ARF's been working hard all day.

-Wanna see if we can help?
-It would be Rolly's puppy-pleasure!

[both laugh]

ARF! Your puppy pals
are here to lend a paw!

-Whoa!
-[grunts]

ARF's already gone
to mail Bonnie's birthday card.

[sniffs] Whoops!

This is Ana's valentine.
I'll put it back in Bob's desk.

Oh, that's not Ana's valentine.
It was in a red envelope.

-That's green.
-Um, I don't see any red envelopes, Bingo.

Oh no! This must be
Bonnie's birthday card.

ARF grabbed Ana's
valentine by mistake,

and accidentally mailed it
to Venice, Italy!

Bob worked so hard
on that valentine,

and he won't have time to make
another one.

Our mission is simple:
Get Ana's valentine

here before the dance party.

Let's make sure Bonnie's card
gets delivered like Bob wanted.

If the mail lady hasn't taken it yet.
Let's go see.

-[barking]
-Both: Let's go!

-Woo! Yeah!
-Yippee!

[laughing]

On your bark, get ready,
got a lot to do

It's gonna be an awesome adventure

We're super duper extra
overly excited

To be going on a mission,
going on a mission

[burbling]

Both: [laughing]
Let's go!

Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba

We're going on a mission,
going on a mission

Ba-ba-ba-ba-ba-ba

- We're going on a mission
-Woo-hoo! Yeah!

Rolly: Ana's red card in the mailbox?

No. The mail lady
must've already taken it!

[yelling]

[horn honking]

Look, Bingo! That upside down
mail truck is driving away!

-[giggles]
-Mail truck?

Ana's valentine could be in there.
Come on!

[barking]

The truck's turning into that parking lot!

It should be easy to find.
Just keep your puppy eye open

for a blue truck with
a picture of envelope.

Right. Activate puppy eye.
Boopity-boop-boop.

Uh, Bingo?

-1, 2, 3, 4. More than one of them!
-We'll have to look inside them all

to see which one has Ana's valentine.

-Hup! No mail in here!
-None here either!

-Hup! No mail in here!
-Hup! None here either!

There wasn't any mail
in any of these trucks!

[whistling melody]

Then the mail lady must've
taken it into that building.

So, that's where
we're going, too!

That's a whole lot of mail.
Rolly: One of those might be Ana's card!

Then let's deliver ourselves
into that pile. [grunts]

-First class!
-Airmail!

[trumpet blares]

[laughs]

Rolly: Bingo?

-Woo!
-Do you see Ana's red valentine envelope?

A blue one, a yellow one...

What would you call
this color? Alabaster?

Creamy vanilla? No.

[sniffing]

Almost a lemon chiffon color.

Yeah, it's sort of milky ivory

-meets eggshell--
-I got it!

-White!
-[gasps]

-But it's not red. Toss it, Rolly.
-Man: Whoa!

Last batch of mail
headed for Venice, Italy,

has just left on a plane!

Woo-hoo!

Hey! That's where Bonnie's
birthday card was going!

Then it looks like
we're going there, too!

Both: It's Valentine's
Day in Venice

Love is everywhere

You can see it on the sidewalks

All along the Grand Canal

It's Valentine's Day in Venice

And we've got a job to do

Bob's card to Ana was
sent here by accident

We can track it down,
sniff it out

Redeliver it
all the way back home

La, la, la, la-la-la

La, la, la, la, la

La, la, la, la-la-la

La, la, la, la, la

It's Valentine's Day in Venice

And we've got a job to do

Rolly: If we don't get distracted
By plates of spaghetti

Both: We can hurry that
card back home soon

Where can Ana's valentine be?
If Bob finds out it's missing,

he's gonna be all, "Oh!
"Where's the valentine for Ana?

"It was here, but now it's not.
Oh, Valentine's Day!"

Italian Postman:
Mail from America has arrived!

Grazie! I'll start my delivery!

Ana's valentine could be in that sack!

[grunting]

-See Ana's valentine in there, Rolly?
-Nope!

Better dig a little
deeper to be sure.

I found it!

[wind howling]

Phew!

We can't let this valentine
get wet or it'll be ruined.

Now, we take this label here...

Rolly: And put it here.

And the mail lady
takes it to Bonnie.

Just in time for her birthday.

This calls for a happy dance!

Happy dance! Oh yeah!
Who's happy? I am!

[laughter]

-[wind blowing]
-Both: Whoa!

Ana's card! Get it!

[grunting]

[wind blowing]

Other side! Other side!

[wind blowing]

I can reach it!
-Don't let it get wet!

It'll ruin the card! Use your puppy breath
to blow it over to me!

[blowing]

Got it!

-Whoa, whoa, whoa! No!
-[splashing]

Oh no. Ana's valentine
is completely soaked.

Oh, Bob is gonna be so bummed.
And Ana will be bummed.

[blowing]

I wish I could dry it the way
ARF dried Cupcake this morning.

[blowing]

Oh, I'm getting tired.

ARF? That's it, Rolly!
You just gave me an idea. Come on!

I have a card here for Bonnie?

That's me!

Oh, Bobby remembered
my birthday!

[whirring]

There. Ana's valentine is now dry!

Woo-hoo! Thanks, ARF!

Oh! Hey there, pups! [laughs]

All: Hi, Bob!

Whoops! [chuckles]

That's for holding onto Ana's
valentine for me.

[sighs]

[drumming]

[up-tempo jazz playing]

Whoa! This Valentine's Day dance party
is a blast!

Oh, I'll say! [laughs]
Oh, I almost forgot!

I made a special valentine just for you!
[laughs]

Aw, thank you, Bob.

[Bob's recorded voice]:
Ha-ha!

[pops, whistles]

[laughs] Uh-oh.

The writing is smeared,
so I can't read what you wrote.

-Huh.
-The water must've ruined Bob's writing.

Oh. Uh, Rolly had it in his mouth earlier.

Maybe his puppy slobber smeared it.
[chuckles] Silly puppy.

But don't worry, Ana.
I remember exactly what I wrote.

[clears throat]

"To Ana. You are a very special friend.

Thank you for being my valentine!"
[laughs]

Thank you, Bob! And I made this
especially for you.

"To Bob. You're my favorite
Playcare valentine."

[laughs] Well, thank you, Ana.

-Well, Bingo, we did it!
-We sure did.

High paw to a Valentine's Day
mission accomplished!

Now that we finished our mission,
it's time to boogie!

[up-tempo rock and roll music playing]

-Bob: Wowie!
-Audience: Wow!

[laughing]
Whoa!

Bingo/Rolly: "A Stinky Story!"

And now for another
exciting game of,

"What's that Smell?"

Okay, Rolly. What's... that... smell?

[sniffs] Apple.

[sniffs] Hat. Rubber ducky. Dirty sock.
Foam finger. Guitar. Cheese.

[sniffs] Captain Dog , issue 304. Wait.

[sniffs] 305.

How are you so good at this game, Rolly?

What can I say? The nose knows.

-[female screams]
-[Keia gasps]

-Uh-oh!
-Hissy?

Hissy? Hiss-- Whoa!

-What is that smell?
-[grunting]

[sniffing]

Ugh! I don't know, but it's horrible!

Yeah, I know.
I got sprayed by a skunk!

-What's a skunk?
-Lemme see. Did I come this way?

[sighs] That rock doesn't look familiar.

-It's back!
-[screams]

-Watch out!
-[screams]

Ew... [coughing]

Hi, I'm Keia!

-I'm Sweetie!
-Bingo: Uh, Keia? That's a skunk.

The skunk that sprayed me.

Sorry about that.

We use our stinky spray
for protection when we're scared.

You be scared of us.
We're friendly!

Me, too. It's just that I'm
still learning not to go...

[imitates spray]
every time I get scared.

Now, have you seen
a skunk's den around here?

Um, I don't think so.

[sighs] Must be this way. I think
I made a left at that stop sign, so...

[grunting]

Where's Sweetie going?

Okay, lemme see.
The sun rises in the north.

-That's not right.
-Is everything okay, Sweetie?

I've gotta go home before
my mom gets worried.

I wandered away from the den where
we live, and now I'm super lost.

-We can help you find your family.
-Yeah. It'll be our mission.

Really? Thank you, thank you, thank you!

What about me?
I can't get this stink out of my fur!

-Help. Me.
-[giggles nervously]

You guys help Sweetie find her family,

and I'll take Hissy to my doghouse
and deal with the skunk stink.

[sniffs] I still smell it a little bit.
Did you spray yourself, too?

Nah, skunks always kinda smell,
even when we're not spraying.

-What are you gonna do?
-Wait a sec.

Your den smells stinky like that, too?

Oh yeah. With my whole family in there,
it is a funky, skunky den.

Then, that's how we'll find your home.
We don't know where you live,

-but we do know how it smells.
-Yeah! [sniffing]

I'm smelling something stinky,
coming from inside the house!

Maybe my mom came looking for me!

[sniffing]

The stinky smell is coming from here.

[sniffing]

Aah! Wrong stinky smell!
It was just Bob's stinky old shoes.

Back up.

Any ideas where else we can look, Sweetie?

Sweetie?

-Sweetie!
-Sweetie, where are--

There you are, Sweetie.
You really wandered off.

Skunks do that sometimes.
We're wanderers. It is our way.

But check this out. Free food.

That's our breakfast.

My mom usually gives
me bugs for breakfast.

-I really miss her, and the bugs.
-We'll find her, Sweetie.

We've just gotta keep sniffing.
[sniffing]

Nose, that's the smell.
Go find it.

[sniffing]

Ha! I just realized we're
trying to find a smell,

while Keia's trying to get rid of one.

-I hope she's okay. Aah!
-Aah!

-Uh-oh. Come on, Sweetie. Let's go.
-Sorry.

Banana or Strawberry Shazam?

-What are we talking about here?
-Puppy shampoo! For your bath!

Lemme stop you right there.
A bath means water.

Cats hate getting wet.

How are we gonna clean
you off without water?

I don't know, but we gotta try. Please?

Where there's a will,
there's a water-free way!

[sniffing]

Smell the skunk den yet?

Mostly I'm smelling
the skunk next to me.

Mama says I am pungent.

-Stinky and proud, baby.
-[wind blowing]

[sniffs] Smell that? From the junkyard.
I'm getting rotten garbage...

[sniffs] old cheese
[sniffing and a certain je ne sais bleh,

or as they say in English,

-"I don't know bleh."
-That could be my family!

Eh, is the smell coming from here?

[sniffs] Yep, but it's
more garbagey than skunky.

I see. Well, that's the stinkiest
stuff I got around here.

Bummer. Guess we better keep looking.

After we look for Sweetie, again.

There's gotta be some bugs down here
somewhere. Right guys?

Uh, guys?

-Uh-oh. Seem to have wandered off again.
-[sniffing]

Oh, excuse me, Mr. Mouse!

-Have you seen a couple of puppies?
-Sweetie!

-[yells]
-[whimpering]

Sorry. I was looking for some bugs to eat.
I did not mean to do that.

[sniffing] Don't be stinky, Sweetie.

I mean sorry, Stinky.
I mean Sweetie.

Sweetie, I got all kinds of smells here,
but nothing quite like that.

Let's go. We gotta find Sweetie's family,
and I can't take the smell. Bye, Bulworth!

-Rolly: Bye, Bulworth!
-Smell you later.

Don't worry. There are plenty
of stinky smells around.

One has got to be your family.

[sniffing]

Stinky, Stinky

Stinky stuff is everywhere

Just take your nice little nose-y

And wiggle it around in the air

And then you holler PU!

I smell something new

And I never smelled this odor before

PU! I smell something new

It's not the stinky stink
we've been sniffing 'round for

Need something skunky
A little funky

-That's me!
- Stinky stuff is everywhere

[sniffing]

-[sniffing]
-[shaking]

[sniffing]

And then you holler PU!
I smell something new

[sniffing]

And I never smelled this odor before

PU! I smell something new

It's not the stinky stink
That we've been sniffing 'round for

It's not the stinky stink
That we've been sniffing 'round for

Need something skunky
A little funky

Stinky stuff is everywhere

-[bell ringing]
-[yells]

Rolly: Can't believe we haven't found
your family. The city's too stinky.

-[squealing]
-[gasps] A pig on a leash?

So cool! High five me.

[giggling] If we ever do find my home,
I gotta tell the pigs about that.

Wait, you live near pigs?

Yep. Our den's next to
a place with pigs, and cows,

-and chickens...
-Rolly, we know a place like that!

-The farm.
-The farm! Yes.

-I knew we'd figure it out.
-Okay, Sweetie. Let's get you...

-Of course.
-Alright, nose.

Follow that stinky Sweetie! [sniffing]

Keia, we figured out
where Sweetie lives.

-How's it going with Hissy?
-Either great or terrible,

but things are happening.
-Bingo: Okay. Good luck.

Keia, are you sure tomato juice
gets out the skunk smell?

Sure I'm sure! [sniffing]

Bleh! Not sure. [gags]

[gasps] If the bad
smell won't come off,

then maybe we can cover
it up with a good smell!

You'll simply adore this
pet friendly perfume. [spraying]

It's chic, it's stylish, it's...
[sniffing] Bleh!

Somehow worse. Now, you just smell like
a skunk wearing perfume. [sighs]

-I don't know what else to do.
-Keia, are you giving up?

No, silly. I'm getting help.
I don't know what to do,

but maybe ARF will. Come on!

ARF can get rid of the smell.
ARF will make a special shampoo--

I'm gonna stop you right there.
Shampoo means baths,

and Hissy doesn't do baths. Ever.

But ARF does not know another
way to get Hissy clean.

I'm sorry, Hissy. I tried to make
the smell go away like you wanted.

But if ARF can't get rid
of the smell without water,

-nobody can.
-[sighs]

You did everything you could, Keia.
ARF...

It's bath time.

-Bingo: Sweetie!
-Rolly: Sweetie, where are you?

-[yelling]
-Tako: Skunk!

-Skunk?
-That's gotta be Sweetie!

[barking]

Stay back, kids.

This is Chester's birthday party!
Skunk spray will stink it all up!

Okay. Just get outta here, Sweetie.
Do not spray. You can do this.

[gasps]

-[barking]
-Tako: Hey!

[barking continues]

No, don't spray the cake!

-No!
-[groans]

-Don't!
-[whimpers]

-Don't do it!
-[barking]

Whoa, whoa, pups!
Be cool. Shh...

-Bingo! Rolly!
-Sweetie!

Sweetie, you did it!

You didn't spray although
you were scared.

Yippy-huzzah!
You are right.

Tako: You don't need to be scared! If you
promise not to spray, we won't bother you.

Deal. Skunk's honor.

Now that we know you won't spray,
you wanna stay? Ha! I rhymed!

Thanks, but I gotta
get home to my mom.

And Rolly and I think we know
where she is! Follow us.

Hope you have a great party!

Here's the farm.
Do you live around--

Yes! Yes! Yes! Mom! Mom!

I'm home!

Sweetie! Thank goodness!

It's so touching, I'm tearing up.

And not just from the smell.

Keia [over radio]:
Bingo! You almost done?

-Hissy needs help.
-Be right there.

Bye, Sweetie! Glad you're home.

Thanks, guys. Come by anytime!

Mom! You're never gonna believe it.
In the city, they have pigs,

-and they were on leashes...
-That's nice, Sweetie. Welcome home.

Oh... Not gonna go, not gonna go.

-Into the bath water, please.
-No, no, no!

-Hissy!
-[Hissy screams]

-[splashes]
-Bath time for Hissy!

-So, what's wrong, Keia?
-Well,

Hissy wouldn't get into the water,

-but you fixed it.
-All done, Hissy.

-Now, was that so bad?
-Yes. It was terrible.

[sniffing]

-And worth it.
-[blowing]

Sweetie is home, and
Hissy smells like Hissy.

-Mission accomplished.
-Okay! ARF is finished!

Still... [sniffs]
better than the smell.

[laughs]

[all laughing]

[theme music playing]

Both: Bark! Bark! Bark!

Bark! Bark! Bark!

[record scratching melody]

Bark!

Bark! Bark! Bark!
