You like this size, Gary?

[thudding]

I like it.

You notice the odds have changed since the last time

the three of us got together huh?

What happened to jailhouse conversions, Danny boy?

Today's homilies from the Old Testament.

An eye for an eye and a tooth for a tooth.

Well, that reading suits me fine,

because I owe you at least an eye for an eye.

Tell me something, Gary.

You're really expecting me to stand by

while you ran off to Texas with my wife?

-Ex-wife. -Wife!

You expect me to believe you give a damn about Val?

-That you love her? -I can't watch you...

Because no one believes that, Danny Boy.

Not me, not Val. No one.

Because no one believes you can love.

Because no one believes you're normal.

No one believes you're sane.

I'm supposed to take offense of that, right?

Well now, sane man might.

[grunting]

[screams]

[Gary grunts]

It's broken.

Aw, does it hurt?

Stolen.

Yes, stolen.

My parking space is empty.

My daughter does not have my car

and it is not in the shop.

I think I can safely say that my car has been stolen.

We have assigned parking spaces.

I think I know my parking space.

[exhales]

What does that have to do with the fact

that my car was stolen?

Fine.

And while you're checking your computer

some thief has more time to drive my car

God knows where.

Repossessed?

Repossessed?

Well then, I think you ought to check with the post office

to find out what happened...

Well, if it has been four payments, don't you think

that somebody would have notified me before now?

I mean, this is really a terrible inconvenience.

You got a lot of nerve showing up here.

I want to explain what happened.

I know what happened.

You left my daughter standing in a church full of people

expecting a wedding.

I want to explain why.

Peggy, let's go to lunch.

No, no, I already had lunch.

[Frank] Dessert.

-I'm not hungry. -You are.

Mack will k*ll him.

Then he won't want witnesses.

Greg Sumner blackmailed me.

It is as simple as that.

Greg Sumner made you leave town?

I was tying my tie, Mack.

I was tying my tie in the basement of the church,

when he walks in and tells me to skip the wedding

or go to jail.

I wanted to break his neck right there.

But I couldn't, Mack, because only he could clear me

and he wasn't offering me time to consider my options.

It was either or. Now what choice did I have?

You should be making your case to my daughter, not me.

I tried.

She finds your story as lame as I do!

She doesn't realize what I was up against, Mack.

She doesn't know what happens to cops in jail.

Dirty cops!

People can change.

And your daughter helped me to change.

Please, ask her to give me one more chance.

I love your daughter, Mack.

Do you think Greg Sumner loves anybody

more than he loves himself?
