[Jeffrey] By my standards,

I've had a lot of success in the industry.

But I haven't reached the goal of success that I want to reach.

Jeffrey, you are the winner.

My mom is gonna freak out.

[Heidi] Congratulations...

Jeffrey.

We thought it was very fresh, hip, couture.

Thank you so much.

My background is in architecture.

I have five children.

I want to make a great start

in a new area of design.

Now for the winner. Congratulations, Laura.

[Heidi] We loved your dress.

We thought you did a fantastic job.

[Laura] I was ready to go home,

and I feel like I can do this now.

I'm ready again.

[Heidi] The winner of Project Runway will receive

a spread in ELLE magazine,

a mentorship with INC International Concepts Design,

a 2007 Saturn Sky Roadster,

and $100,000 to start their own line

furnished by TRESemmé Professional Hair Care.

This is Project Runway.

Fashion is my life.

I'm going to win.

[Heidi] 15 contestants.

I'm fabulously glamorous.

I've got mad skills.

But only one can be the winner.

I'm better than they are.

You gotta be kidding me.

For these 15 contestants,

Project Runway is the chance of a lifetime.

[dramatic music playing]

[Uli] There's four really strong designers left,

and one of us is not gonna go to New York Fashion Week.

So it's pretty tough, because you made it that far.

And now you don't--

You just want to do that other step

and be actually in the final.

It's pretty nerve-wracking right now.

-Michael. -Mm.

-It's time to get up, dude. -Okay.

Time to fight.

I think I have a really good shot

at making it to the final three.

Each of us does something very specific and very different.

If you like peasant blouses, big and flowy,

then Uli's in.

But if you like run of the mill, friendly fashion,

then Michael's in.

If you like moth ba*ls

and chicken soup,

Laura's in. [laughs]

If you want to live a little dangerously, maybe I'll be in.

[Laura] It was an amazing ride from that

low-low to the high-high of actually winning.

And it really gave me the boost, I think, that I need

to make this sprint to the finish line.

[Michael Knight] I'm meant to be here, you know.

There's nothing else I've ever wanted to do.

Ever since I was nine,

I always wanted to be a fashion designer.

Words have power, so,

yes, I'll be at Bryant Park.

There are only four of you left.

And this next challenge is the big one,

because it will decide which three of you

will make it to Olympus Fashion Week.

Are you ready?

Okay, tomorrow morning you will meet with Nina Garcia

at ELLE magazine.

And she'll tell you all about it.

Okay, let's bring out the models.

[Heidi] Models,

this is a competition for you too.

The model paired with the winning designer

will receive a fashion spread in ELLE magazine.

Three designers were eliminated in the last challenge,

so there are seven models

and four designers.

I'm going to let you pick,

and three models will be out.

Laura,

you won the last challenge.

You get to choose first.

I will definitely stick with Camilla.

Okay, I'm gonna pull your names out of this bag to see

who picks next.

Uli.

Sorry, Lindsay, but I'm gonna go with Nazri.

I wanna k*ll you.

I was kinda thrown for a loop.

I don't believe she chose Nazri.

I mean, that's just really [bleep] up.

No.

I just went for her.

You have to grab everything

which maybe makes your outfit

looks most stunning on the runway.

Michael.

Um, well,

since I don't have Nazri,

I'm gonna go with Clarissa.

[Heidi] Models,

there are only four of you left.

and Javi.

Three models will be out.

There's one button left,

and it's got Jeffrey written all over it.

[Laura] I've never really had any one-to-one interaction

with Nina, so I'm actually looking forward

to getting to her office

and seeing what she has in store for us.

Welcome to ELLE.

So we're gonna talk a little bit about

how important is fashion editorial.

You want to capture the attention of the editors.

You want to be offering the editors something new,

something they haven't seen.

A page in ELLE

gives you incredible exposure

to the millions of readers.

Here are two examples of our First Look page.

This opens fashion for the magazine.

This is the first connection with fashion that we see.

The bottom line is

we want our readers to want this.

So conveying a very strong point of view

is very important.

For this next challenge,

we want you to create an outfit of your choice.

It must convey

your point of view as a designer.

We want you to communicate a story.

Here is a little taste

of what you're going to have to deal with

if you are showing for Olympus Fashion Week.

We are giving you absolute creative freedom.

Complete creative freedom is a great thing.

On the other side,

there's more pressure now because

I got so used to having guidelines.

Now you're basically back out in the real world.

Here are one sheet

for each of you.

You have to choose three words

that will describe what you're about

as fashion designers.

These words must connect

to the look that you design for this challenge.

I will see you back on the runway.

[designers] Thank you so much, Nina.

You were each given a one sheet on which you were to write

three words describing who you were as a designer.

You don't have to do that now,

but you must do it before the runway presentation.

You have a half hour to sketch.

You have a budget of $250.

And you have two days for this challenge.

So I will be back in 30 minutes.

Wow those judges.

-[Uli] Thank you, Tim. -Thanks, Tim.

[tense music playing]

[Jeffrey] I know the judges are expecting

a certain thing from me.

And I want to toss all that out the window,

take a huge risk

and show them another side of me.

I'm also a romantic.

So I'm taking this opportunity to make

a red, white and blue dress.

[Uli] I sketched, like, four or five different versions.

I'm a little confused, and I'm just gonna go

with whatever I found in a fabric store.

[Laura] I definitely made the conscious decision

not to send

some risky, wild surprise on the runway,

and instead, to do what I do best

better than I've done since I've been here.

[Michael Knight] Each challenge, I do a sketch.

I look at 'em, and it's always just one

that just kinda pops out, has that wow factor.

But none of the sketches I did, have that wow factor,

so I was getting a little nervous.

This is not a time to get stuck.

[Tim] Designers,

your sketching time is up, and we are going shopping.

So follow me.

-[Tim] Go, go, go. -[Laura] Wow, wow, wow.

[upbeat music playing]

[Jeffrey] Oh, wow.

[gasps] Look at that.

Whatever I was gonna do,

I was gonna work with some stretch silk charmeuse.

Give me a yard and a half.

[Uli] Patterns look, like, crazy.

Looks so Uli.

When I saw the print, I knew what I'm going to do with it.

Long dress, printed, colorful.

Flowy. Uli.

[upbeat music playing]

[sighs] I'm just confused.

[Uli] Michael, do you know what you're gonna do yet?

[Michael Knight] Nope.

I'm just--I'm stumped.

Just grab a piece of muslin, and start draping.

That doesn't work for me.

Draw and pick the one you like the best.

That's what I normally do.

I definitely was having

a major brain freeze episode.

I really was trying to step outside

of what I normally do and push myself a little more.

I'm not gonna think about it too hard.

[Jeffrey] I think that it's really important

to have a range.

I don't think that Laura's got the range.

You know, can Laura design and entire collection,

and start a career

doing one thing?

You know, it just--to me, it doesn't seem possible.

[harp music playing]

We have this in Germany, kitchen dresses.

Come here, Laura.

Kommen Sie hier.

Kommen sie hier my kitchen coat.

[Uli] It's weird.

Well, why is it so weird?

It looks just like every other dress you did.

-Really? -[laughing]

It's not funny. Why are you laughing?

I got a [bleep] dress to bead, honey.

I can't stand here

and chat with you in German.

[Uli] Jeff, can you put it on?

I'm not putting that thing on.

It'll make me look fat.

I'm kidding. I'll put it on.

I feel so pretty.

I got it.

I could've took the easy route

and just kinda did a dress,

but, um, to me,

the best way I can wow the judges is by doing evening gown.

Sexy, sensual, sophistication.

Got it.

Bingo.

They got a winner.

It's a plunging neckline gown with, like,

these strips of fabric that weave into each other.

It was the "it" dress that had that wow factor to me.

Yeah, so that's what it's gonna be.

[techno music playing]

Just looking around.

Just wanna see what you're doing.

-Jeffrey. -Yes.

-How are you? -I'm good.

Well, you know,

this is really unexpected.

I've done this before, and I made a dress--

almost every seam was hand-sewn.

And it just looked beautiful.

I mean, it made people almost cry.

-Well, do it here. -So that's the feeling

-I want to have here. -Do it.

-Carry on. Do it. -Back to it.

-So, Laura. -Yes.

How are you?

You know, I want to stay out of the trap--

oh, that looks just like a dress you would wear.

You had a big success

-with the last design. -Right.

And if you can do that again, you can keep them guessing.

Okay, no more then. I'm going too safe with this.

Well, you don't want to be safe, you want to wow them.

-So, Michael. -Yes.

-[Tim] What are you up to? -This is pretty much it.

Uh, these strips here,

they're kind of woven together.

There's a criss cross in the front and the back.

[Tim] I mean, it can't just be a pretty dress.

-No, I know. -'Cause this is the window

on what you'll do

for Olympus Fashion Week in its own way.

Uli, how are you?

I'm not well, Tim. I'm not so good right now.

-You're not so good? -I don't know.

I think it looks like a kitchen dress.

[Tim] The judges are

in a position now where they can almost predict

-what you're going to show them. -[Uli] What I'm doing, yeah.

And you don't want that to happen.

You really want to surprise them while still being you.

-Don't bore Nina. -Uh-oh.

[sighs]

Think about it.

-Uh-huh. -You may need to sleep on it.

I hope you can sleep tonight then.

I don't know.

I may not.

[upbeat music playing]

[Uli] Just gonna start all over.

The last hour,

I just started cutting my dress in pieces

and start from scratch again.

Go for it, Ules.

I'm kind of worried for Uli.

I'm not really sure that she has a definite place

that she going with this garment.

[Uli] Coming up,

Uli doesn't finish her dress, but watch what happens

on Project Runway.

[Laura] Come on, Jeff needs some sleep.

[Michael Knight] You do, too.

-[Laura] Me? -[Michael Knight] Mm-hm.

[Heidi] Coming up on Project Runway...

I have an announcement to make.

-Yes! -[gasping]

Our final challenge is

to create a look that is signature

to who we are as a designer.

That means no holds barred.

You can do whatever the hell you want to

as long as it looks like you.

[Uli] Uli's in deep trouble today,

because I wasted a whole day,

making something which turned out to be totally wrong.

Now I have to completely start over.

Since you started over, basically you have one day now.

Wow.

[Michael Knight] Let's head over to Parsons.

[upbeat music playing]

[Uli] Maybe magic will have finished my dress.

[Laura] Maybe magic will have started your dress.

Started my dress.

[Tim] Good morning, everybody.

[designers] Good morning.

Designers, may I ask you

to grab your one sheets?

And gather round, please.

I have an announcement to make.

The winning design for this challenge

will be photographed by Gilles Bensimon...

-[gasps] -...and featured

in ELLE magazine's First Look page.

Yes!

[Laura] It's just a very prestigious prize.

It's just--it's inconceivable.

It's huge.

Wow.

I really want to win this challenge,

because it'll be a great way

to get even more exposure.

And then to say that I've worked

with a photographer like Gilles Bensimon.

It'll be awesome.

[Tim] And I have other news.

You will be taking pictures as well.

-Yrrrgh. -[Uli] What?

[Tim] At 5:00 pm,

your models will arrive.

You will dress them in your look,

and you will be given an hour to photograph them

-on the streets of Manhattan. -Awesome.

[Uli] Tim comes in and tells us,

"You have five hours."

I didn't even have an idea of a dress.

These photographs

should convey the story that you're trying to tell.

[Jeffrey] Oh, my God.

So you have a new deadline, 5:00 pm.

-All right. -All right.

-Make it work. -Thanks, Tim.

[Uli] I thought, if I only have five hours,

I cannot play around anymore.

I just have to go to work and get something done.

[techno music playing]

[Jeffrey] Our work time was cut in half,

which didn't really affect me so much,

because I know that I'll be finished with my dress

by 5:00 pm.

[Michael Knight] It sucks that

we have to be done by 5:00 pm,

because I really did need those other six hours.

[upbeat music playing]

[Jeffrey] Hello?

[Melanie]

Oh, my God, I love you so much.

Today is Father's Day,

and I got the most amazing message from...

my girlfriend, Melanie.

Oh, my God.

I get to see my son.

-[Melanie] Say, "Hi, Dada." -Oh, [bleep].

I've been here for so long, and I really, really miss them.

I support my family with this business.

And I like to think that

I'm here doing this as much for my family as for myself.

So there's a lot at stake for me.

Now I just want to get back and work.

[upbeat music playing]

[Uli] Laura, are you tired of beading?

[Laura] I'm tired of living.

What are you talking about?

[Uli] I actually like pressure.

I think I work better.

I have better results if I have a deadline

and everything in my body just goes and makes it happen.

[Laura] Jeffrey took the most risk.

He's sending something a little bit different,

I think, in the judges eyes,

but Jeffrey seems to think it's right on track for what he does.

I don't know if his garment best expresses him

as a designer.

I'm always concerned about being in the bottom

of any [bleep] challenge,

but really concerned about being in the bottom of this one,

because there's no bottom two in this one.

You're either in or you're out.

[upbeat music playing]

Designers, you have an hour.

I'm gonna bring in your models right now.

Ladies, come on in.

-Hi. -Hello, everybody.

Let's just go ahead and slip this on.

It's gonna be really pretty when I'm done.

That is so beautiful.

Oh God, I had it all beaded.

I started, like, with a huge big muumuu dress,

and then I made this one.

[Michael Knight] I'm cool about the model change

because I got Clarissa, and she's just as great.

The gown pretty much was done.

There just wasn't any straps on it.

So I had to kind of pin them on.

I'm really trying to concentrate on

making sure that the garment is definitely well-constructed.

And I'm trying to win this thing.

I'm trying to win it.

[upbeat music playing]

-[Laura] Hey, check it out. -[Camilla] Okay.

[Laura] I was just exhausted.

Practically blind and hunched over

from making all those little bead strands.

But the dress actually looks quite accomplished.

All right, designers, is everyone ready?

You have one hour.

We're going now.

[upbeat music playing]

[Michael Knight] I wanted to sh**t at Atlas,

just because I really wanted something that was loungy.

Beautiful. Do that.

-Hot. -[camera shutter clicks]

[Michael Knight] My story is all about the dress.

It's a beautiful dress. Look at me.

I command attention.

I need to be seen.

Give me something a little sexy in the eyes and the mouth.

[Marilinda] Okay, Jeffrey.

You wanna go inside the park now?

-Uh-huh. -Okay, let's go.

I wanted to go to Central Park.

I wanted to go someplace that was gonna be pretty,

with some nature, relaxing.

And look at me.

[camera shutter clicks]

[Jeffrey] My story is about

a romantic person.

And then I think the provocation

and the irreverence to me,

are all in the fabrication.

[upbeat music playing]

[Laura] No, no, no, no.

You're kinda standing there,

maybe looking at the numbers or something.

My story is this woman, she's on her way to an event.

She just sort of looks focused and confident and ready to go.

Right, you stand in there.

[elevator beeping]

What are we doing?

I need you to... [bleep].

And you'd stand--

We'll just go do something else.

It was a stupid idea.

One, two, three.

[camera shutter clicks]

[Uli] We need something fun.

My clothes have a, like,

fun and life and adventure.

We're gonna go where there's lights

and people and life.

[camera shutter clicks]

They were really nice. It was cool actually.

Okay, we'll head back.

[Heidi] Coming up on Project Runway...

The only one I'm a little worried about is Michael.

My insides are like porridge right now.

It's our last runway show together.

This is so exciting.

[upbeat music playing]

Designers, you have one hour

to choose the photograph

for your one sheet,

and to finalize

the three words for that one sheet.

I will be back in an hour.

[Michael Knight] That is a cute shot.

[Laura] I ended up with glamour,

confidence and elegance.

Those three words really do describe

the work that I've done in the past, and sort of

my goals for the work that I intend to do in the future.

Alert the media. [laughs]

I'm ready to write on my one sheet.

My three words are:

provocative, irreverent, and romantic.

I chose the picture of Marilinda in the rickshaw 'cause it's

the best picture in the world.

[Uli] Every picture looks different.

I had Nazri dancing with a band we found

in the street, and she looks great.

The dress looks good.

It looks like you want to be there.

Fun, life and adventure.

They represent myself.

They represent my clothes.

And they also represent the woman

who's gonna wear my clothes.

So people will live life.

[Michael Knight] After I printed 'em all,

I looked at 'em. And I immediately

knew what photo I wanted.

And there it is.

It's a hot a*s picture.

It says everything I need it to say.

It's sexy. It's sultry.

It's sensuality.

Okay, guys.

The only one I'm a little worried about is Michael.

To me it looks like one of these ads in a magazine.

You know, "I'm alone at home."

"Please call me at 1-800-whatever."

You know, these sex ads?

Michael made the worst dress of the four of us.

Take away the dress.

Those three words?

Sexiness, sultry,

and sensual...

Stupid.

[Tim] Okay, designers,

pack everything up and come with me,

because the evening is over.

[Laura] Today is the final runway day.

It's been a long haul,

and I'm really starting to feel the effects

of being creative day after day and working so hard.

It doesn't seem the most convenient time

to be having a sixth child, but I'm ready

to get the results of this last challenge.

And then maybe start thinking

about my Bryant Park collection.

-You just about ready, Uli? -Mm-hm.

Me, too.

[electric razor buzzing]

[Michael Knight] The prize for this final challenge is to get

a First Look spread in ELLE magazine,

shot by Gilles Bensimon.

But winning the challenge

definitely becomes secondary because

I really want to get to Bryant Park.

-Here we go. -[Jeffrey] I'm ready.

[Michael Knight] The first day of the rest of our lives.

-[Tim] Good morning, everybody. -[designers] Good morning.

It is our last day.

-[Jeffrey] Yay. -Wow.

[Tim] And it's gonna be a big one.

I just have to tell you all

I am exceedingly proud of each of you.

I am so thrilled with the work that you've achieved.

Today is going to be

a kind of scrutiny, the likes of which

you haven't experienced.

The judges are going to be fast forwarding

what they see

to Olympus Fashion Week in September

and thinking, what will this collection be like?

I am going to send in your models.

You'll have two hours

to prep them for the runway show,

send them to the TRESemmé hair salon,

and to the L'Oréal Paris makeup room,

and pull all of this together.

The judges have this

opinion of me that I'm all a gloom and doom,

and...

while that's 80% true... [chuckles]

I'm also a romantic.

And I wanted to give this

to the judges for this challenge.

They could either stand up and applaud,

or they could go,

"You blew it."

[Uli] Today's the day.

Nina's going to look for something which photographs well

and it has to be perfect.

So I had to do some little changes.

[Michael Knight] Hell yeah. I love it.

It's pretty intense.

To me, this is not a surprise.

I want to congratulate each of you

for making it this far.

But as you know, in fashion,

one day you're in

and the next day...

you're out.

Your challenge was to design

an outfit that shows your point of view as a designer.

We had you take a picture

of your model in your final look

to help convey this point of view.

And we asked you to choose three words

that speak to who you are as a designer.

We gave you $250,

two days to put it together,

and a lot of creative freedom.

Okay, let's introduce the judges.

First, we have top American designer, Michael Kors.

-Hey, guys. -[Heidi] Nina Garcia,

fashion director of ELLE magazine.

Hi, guys.

[Heidi] And special guest, Teri Agins.

Lead fashion writer for The Wall Street Journal.

Hi.

We'll score your designs as they come down the runway.

One of you will be named the winner,

and one of you will be out.

Let's start the show.

[techno music playing]

[Jeffrey] When I saw my dress coming down the runway,

I felt really, really good.

And it was beautiful. It was perfect.

Just the way I wanted it to look.

[upbeat music playing]

[Laura] I just thought it was spectacular.

The lights shining off of the beads,

and the soft pink color of the dress

against Camilla's brown skin.

The dress looked stunning.

[upbeat music playing]

[Uli] When Nazri came out on the runway,

and I saw my dress that looked great.

And it looked different.

Usually you always see

a long silhouette from me

coming out there, and it looked really different.

And I really liked it.

[upbeat music playing]

[Michael Knight] I loved my dress

when it got down the runway.

Clarissa looked smokin' hot in it.

I even made a white girl look like she had some a*s.

That's how damn sexy my dress is.

[upbeat music playing]

[tense music playing]

We've scored your designs.

We also reviewed your one sheets before the show

and have a copy of your picture.

And your three words on our judging cards.

Let's bring out your models.

[tense music playing]

I would like to start with Laura.

Well, the three words that I came up with were

confidence,

elegance, and glamour.

Tell us a little bit about how your dress

tells the story in your photograph.

The photograph I have-- I thought

of Camilla sort of on her way to an event.

She's so confident to run out and hail a cab

on the street is just no problem for her.

Because she's that comfortable.

As an editor,

to me this is not a surprise.

I think your work is beautiful.

I do understand that

you have a c*ck evening point of view.

But I do expect to see more from you, Laura.

I really wanted to show

sort of my signature work.

Again, kudos on the make, the fit.

It's chic. It always is.

But if you're gonna stick

to this category of c*ck and evening,

somehow,

you've got to broaden what that means.

So that it's not only

a little dress with a spare bare neck.

[Heidi] Teri, what do you think?

I like this dress because I think it's very commercial.

But at the same time, what is tricky about it is,

editorially,

we have seen this dress before.

-Michael. -My three words were sexiness,

sensuality, and sultry.

The story is all about the dress.

When I create garments,

I really want them to be seen, noticed.

They command attention.

Nothing else around them matters.

[Heidi] Michael, what do you think?

Here's the moment to really sum up what you're about,

and it's like, okay, it's a gown.

It's too bare on top.

I mean, I think the weaving at the waist is pretty.

But there's no look to this.

[Michael Knight] The look I thought

was just really, really va-va-va voom

and, um, vixeny.

I don't even think that it's very flattering.

I think a keyhole is nice,

but it's not ex*cuted

in the right way.

This keyhole is tricky.

You know, there's a lot of skin out there.

And I think that, you know, in your zeal

to do something, you know, really sexy,

you kinda went maybe a little bit too far.

What I think has been so good

from you in the past

is that you are able to give us pieces,

and then present them

very edited and very well

with a point of view and a look.

And I really was expecting

for you to be able to deliver this.

I tried.

Really, really tried to do my best.

Uli, tell us about your dress and the picture.

Actually found this band. They were playing.

And Nazri jumped in and started dancing with them,

and I was taking pictures.

The three words I chose were

fun, life, and adventure.

And I think the woman

who's gonna be in my dresses or my clothes--

she definitely is also woman who likes life,

who likes to have fun.

I have to say I really like this dress a lot.

Yes, you used a pattern again,

but this time it is a completely

new shape.

I really like this dress.

I am thrilled that you didn't do it long.

-Jeffrey. -My three words were romance,

irreverence, and provocation.

To start with romance, I have a very romantic mind.

I love to create things

that sort of have an heirloom feel about them.

And my story with the picture--

I pictured a girl who is wearing sort of an heirloom,

who is romantic.

And to me, this girl in this dress

in the rickshaw

in the middle of the day is irreverent,

provocative, and romantic.

-Teri. -Here in the handsome carriage

where she's riding,

the dress looks kind of dowdy.

When I look at it, I don't find it provocative at all.

It's a little too pretty.

Nina, what do you think?

I'm a little confused.

I don't know. I figured your style was different.

I really wanted to present something

that wasn't The Devil in Balenciaga.

[Heidi] To me, it doesn't look sophisticated and elegant,

but still with your edginess,

because I think that is what is so great about you.

You're not afraid and you make things edgy.

But it looks very milk maid.

If in the picture she would be somewhere

milking a cow, I could understand it.

I have to say

some of them really didn't get it today.

What surprised me, especially from Michael,

is that he doesn't realize what his strengths are.

Evening is not what he does well.

So why show evening?

[Teri] Yeah, that dress did not work.

[Michael Kors] I think that he's really, ultimately,

a sportswear designer, and I'm dying to see more

of his sportswear.

I think today he didn't get a chance

to really shine,

because this wasn't what he's about at all.

[Heidi] Sexiness,

sensuality, sultry.

-All the same. -Yeah, alliteration.

[Nina] Jeffrey surprised me, not in a good way.

He knew that we were expecting to see

hard rock or something that he usually does,

so he wanted to go the other direction.

[Teri] This dress looked really amateur,

and that dress did not work on any level.

[Heidi] His words were romance,

irreverence, and provocation.

[Michael Kors] To me, there was nothing provocative about it.

I have to say there's something about

everything I've seen up until this.

He's got something to say about fashion.

[Heidi] Laura's words were

glamour, confidence, elegance.

And that's exactly who she is.

I have to say,

I would wear all of the dresses that she makes.

I think they're all beautiful. They're all elegant.

But are we gonna see this dress

come down the runway 12 times, or no?

No, if I see 12 plunging v-neck lines,

and bugle beads and feathers glued to the hem

of every c*ck dress, I think I'll scream.

I think that she needs to rough it up a little?

A little bit.

Perhaps after doing this,

she will evolve to something more edgy.

You know, maybe she needs to get this out of her system.

Uli, I love today.

[Michael Kors] Oh, it was great.

[Heidi] I think this could be all over your magazine.

[Nina] Oh, I love it. Everything worked.

And her picture is adorable.

[Michael Kors] I love her picture.

Her words were fun, life, adventure.

[Michael Kors] And it has it.

I'm really curious to see

her tell a story.

I hope that she does more

than just give us a slew of print dresses.

I think it's really hard,

because I think they are so distinctly different.

And I think they each have their own voice.

here on Project Runway.

I started in the bottom two,

and I ended up in the bottom two.

The good thing is that I've made it to Bryant Park.

And that's what I came for.

[Michael Knight] To show at Bryant Park means that

I am introducing myself as a designer

to the fashion industry,

so it's a big deal.

I've been waiting for this opportunity

all my life.

So we have the final four.

Yay!

[Tim] Listen, no one's happier than I am, because I've been

sweating b*ll*ts all afternoon about to which one of you

I'd have to declare,

"Go upstairs and clean out your space."

-[Jeffrey] Oh, man. -And it was not a pretty picture

-in my head. -[Laura] Amazing, isn't it?

So congratulations. You've really earned it.

[Laura] I do like the idea that we're all four going.

Our work is so different that it's gonna be interesting

to see these four different shows.

I'm nervous about being able to physically accomplish this.

I'll be hugely pregnant by the time this all comes around.

But I'll handle it. I'm tough.

I can do this. I got this far.

I can take this last leap.

definitely makes me more confident to go to Bryant Park,

because I know I can do that.

And I've done only two fashion shows so far,
