I'm an aquarius,

So we are trying to do a garment

That reflects the flow and the color of water.

I guess we'll do silver.

Yeah, this one has silver.

Unconventional...

Eccentric.

My sign is aquarius.

So I immediately wanted to go with my sign.

I think it's perfect for my design aesthetic.

Signs are really actually kinda on point.

Hey, I'm me. What can I say?

Jennifer and I chose my zodiac sign,

Which is sagittarius.

We can make, like, an arrow or something,

Like the archer.

And then we could just play off that.

Yeah, I don't want it to be too literal.

I just drew a scorpion.

I am a libra, which is all about balance.

But I don't think it really fits me.

I'm really not that much of a balanced person,

So I automatically decide

That I want to do something for scorpio.

Just because I don't wanna make an outfit

Where the girl's holding out her arms

And has two scales dangling from it.



The idea of scale and weight, you know?

That's beautiful.

Keith's skill level is not the same as mine,

So I don't know what I'm gonna do.

Something new and refreshing for the audience to see

So I wanna make an exaggerated silhouette.

Is kind of, you know, this libra.

She's all kind of like nude,

And when there's a situation that arises,

She begins to manifest that situation.

Like strapping you down and giving you the rules

And like holding you in.

Just make certain

That there's cohesion among all the parts, okay?

So we're kinda playing off this, like, armor kinda vibe

And kind of fluidity with the top.

A school marm's old winter coat

And tried to make it into a couture dress.

I know it's bold,

But I think when you see it all together,

The way this fabric's gonna play off that fabric

And the different textures...

Hey, how's it going?

I mean, it's definitely interesting to look at.

It's just so great!



It's unbalanced.

It's got expl*si*n of emotion.

It's blayne.



Eclectic, and it's me.



Just a little bit.

I would not be able to interpret aquarius

From that at all.

I'm proud of myself, because there is no team.

It's terri.



And with her design aesthetic, it's questionable.

It looks like aquarius. I see the water and the air.

It had a great flow to it, and I love it.

Aries is a fire sign,

And the skirt was erupting in fire

And the bodice turned into the peak of the flame.

I think daniel and I

Have created a really great and dynamic garment.

She's representing sagittarius--

Positive, outgoing, adventurous, fun-loving.

Hey, I'm me. What can I say?

There's just a flow and an elegance to this look

That you'd have to be blind not to see.

My garment represents scorpio

Because it has this stillness

And structure.

It's really cool and very avant garde.

Our garment's definitely light and airy

And sophisticated and chic.

I'm happy with the way it turned out.



And I'm very proud and happy that he actually listened to me

And we came up with something very beautiful.

Okay, I would like to start with blayne's group.

I chose libra for my sign,

Which is my sign.

And I really wanted to play with weight and scale,

'Cause the libra is scale.

So with this being the simple side,

This being, you know, obviously heavier side,

So you can see more of a tilt.

It just looks haphazard.

It doesn't look like you spent a lot of time with it.

We actually hand-sewed everything, so...

It's just the one-legged monster here.

I think it's interesting.



I don't think it's bringing me forward, you know?

I think it's very, um, almost costumey.



If you wouldn't mind turning around.



We had this once before another year--

I'm happy for odd beauty.

The fire sign and the sun,

So I wanted to create, um, like the heat coming from it.

I did some changes based on feedback from yesterday.

'Cause it was looking maybe a little the wiz?

So I got rid of the fur collar.

Tell us about your look.

Sure. I'm an aquarius,

And that was the inspiration for my garment.

And I took the thoughts out of my head,

And I took a chance, and...

I thought it turned out really cool.



I don't think it has anything to do with the zodiac.

I was definitely inspired by the aquarius--

Rebellion, strength, strong,

And purple.

But it almost feels like

You did whatever you wanted to do.



The rope and everything...

Disregarding what the challenge was.



Look like something I haven't seen before.

And quite honestly,

It's kind of dolce gabbana on the bottom.

I don't look at collections.

And then we've got viktor & rolf going on on the top,

And in a weird way, I don't find it that shocking.

I mean, I actually have seen clothes like this.

This is avant garde.

Listen, kenley, avant garde means something we haven't seen.

Suede, tell us about your look.

Well, suede and jerry chose libra.

And what we were most inspired by was the scale

Which is also the main sign for libra.



You have to be pushing the envelope a little bit more.

Suede didn't want to take it too crazy,

So refined is really where I kept coming back to.

Yes, I see that it is refined.

But it's bordering on the expected.



Would have played just with the proportion itself,

Because it's there

But needed to be really brought to the next level.



And put it in a department store" challenge.

I just thought that it didn't say aquarius.

I don't really care if you think it looks like aquarius."



Gets very defensive with any criticism.

Even the defensiveness of,

You know what, to be a designer,

You have to know what's happening in the world.

I think she's being more taurus than anything,

I really hated this outfit.

It just looked overall cheap.



She would have said, "hey, keith, what do you think?

Instead, they had w*r.

Suede could have pushed the envelope a little bit more.
