Well, it's going to be as bad for us as it is for them.

and act like I'm better.

because, I mean, look at us.

Yeah, no sh*t, I was telling Jon
is that we should have you go down there
just you by yourself, start talking
and all of a sudden break out into an epileptic seizure.

Aaron took it upon himself
I guess, to, uh, organize
how we were going to interview this person.
[Aaron] 'Just have like one or two people down here'
to meet the guy at first
and then have, and then have
all of us here at the same time.
No, I mean, just to show the guy
at first he doesn't feel like he's totally overwhelmed.
'Cause I mean if you walked into this place.
'this is like, Hollywood Central.'
We'll then just have like, we'll just kinda kick back
and two of us can walk out at a time.
[Tami] 'The only reason why I disagree with that'
'is because this person has to live with us'
I don't feel like we should baby the situation.
Uh, we could all take turns askin' him questions.
I think one way we can avoid makin' him feel uncomfortable
is if we don't just sit down and, and--
[Irene] 'Start drillin' him with questions.'
He actually wanted to sit down
and talk with people on a one-on-one basis
but we kinda outvoted him on that.
It's just an idea.

In ways, we were almost playing God with someone.
I think, we really should do my idea.

And, uh, now my parents live in Long Island, in Hempstead.

Well, I specialize in meters, I used to.
Now, this year I'm gonna run the meters
and that's gonna be my specialty.
Do you have a girlfriend?
- Yeah. - You do?

My first impression of Ed
was that of being a-a warm person, uh..
When I found out he was an athlete, that was good.
He didn't seem like he had anything to hide.
I just had made the prediction, even though he was the first one
that he was gonna be our next roommate.
I mean, we gotta talk about this, you know..
No, he seems really cool.
He seemed like a very nice guy.
He was nice.

This is our one night a week that we're all together
and we get all hyper about it.

- 'Twenty-six.' - Mm-hmm.
[Aaron] 'You're older than Irene, that would make you'
'the oldest person in the room.'
[Dominic] 'You know, we'd all be younger than you.'
- I guess that's true. - 'Would that bother you?'
No, I don't think, uh
how old you are is-is very important.
[Tami] 'Where are you from?'
I was bo-born in Queens
but I've been here for four years.
- So what you do? - No, I didn't do that.
I work in a shelter for homeless kids.
- Oh. Oh. - Did you leave it here?
I work in an A*DS health care center.
- Do you really? - Yeah.
[Jon] So, you work at a shelter for homeless kids.
What do you do?
I've done a lot of things that they sent me out from New York
to-to be one of the people who started the place
'to design the program.'
So, I-I rode, uh, these vans around the streets
of Hollywood for three years.
Talking to kids, handing out sandwiches
and finding out what they need.
They just changed my job a few months ago.
You get kind of burnt out on that.

I think we had some personality conflicts.
[Tami] First impressions on Kevin.
He was not intimidated by the situation at all.

No, in fact my mother, she smoked all her life.

the situation that's going on here,like
there's three guys coming in
and we're interviewing.

we just happen to be here, and they've just told us to..

Aaron was trying to tell us how to choose
you know, our next roommate
and it shouldn't be a decision that Aaron makes for us
it was, it should be a decision that we all made for ourselves.
Let's go through a process of elimination..

I don't mind cats, I have a cat.

I believe in God, but I'm not..
I'm catholic, but it doesn't mean that..
I have friends who are Muslim

I-I'm really, I'm really close to God, I think.
I don't know, I just feel
that's like my best friend, basically.
And that's where, I mean, I-I always think, like
if something bad happens
something good's gonna come from it.

My first impression of Glen
was, you know, again that he was really nice
easy to get along with
really excited about what was going on.
My predictions for Glen were, are very good.
Glen has a great personality.

Going to see Inspiral Carpets was really cool.
Uh, I was, I was very glad
to go with Dom and Aaron.
Uh, that, when we went backstage it was really cool.

not very well-promoted, but that was
the purpose on behalf of the record company
and it was for the new album, so..
Glen expressed an interest, I knew everyone would have fun.
[Glen] I observe bands and what they do
and how people react to them.
You know, I-I take down notes, what I liked about a band
whether or not I didn't like a certain thing.
I think it's-it's great for, uh, musicians
to do that, or any, any profession.
You got to study what you're doing.
[Dominic] Yeah, I have a certain
protocol and behavior
that I like to carry on when I'm backstage.
[Glen] Dom's great around bands, um
he's very professional, he taught me some tips.
I knew most of them, um..
He mentioned to me, just, you know, just stay back
don't bother them, let them get off stage.
Uh..
And he was very friendly, we talked to them.
They were friendly back
and, uh, I'm sure he, uh
got the respect that he deserves.

After the Inspiral Carpets show
Dom and I were talking with Aaron
about whether or not you tell a girl
if you love her just to have sex, I guess.
That's what I understood it for.
You've been in bed with some chick
she says, "I love you, Glen"
and you'd say, "Well, you know
I think you're kinda cool too."
I think if I was with a girl and everything
I wouldn't say that just to have sex or anything.
- 'I'm not saying--' - If she said "I love you."
[Dominic] 'Would you listen to what I say.'

It's always been just a reciprocal statement.
