It's got this super-fine felt

Let's talk about mouth.

Like, the lip will be matte, but

Her skin will have a really
pretty sheen.

Hey, stanley. We're gonna
start with a true

Match super blendable

Crayon concealer.

That'll give us a good,
clean base.

The visible lift blush has this
beautiful sheen.

We're gonna use the caresse wet

Shine stain, so it just will
give the lips a little bit of

Color and voluminosity, which
keeps it sexy.

That's perfect.

That's my dress that--

Wow.

I'm thinking a very finished,

Polished, monochromatic
statement.

It's very chic to, I think, keep

This kind of a nude palette.

Have a seat on my throne.

I loved the hair.

I loved the hair too.

You were definitely in the right

Direction with tousledness
and stuff.

The continuity would be better

With everybody if it's kind of

Back and tousled.

I'm gonna use the everstyle

Beach spray.

It's perfect because it gives it

That beachy, saltwater feel.

Finish it off with some elnett.

And this is definitely more

Sophisticated but still just as

Messy, dirty girl.

With some root lifting spray,

Just for some control, and then

A lone female wolf.

She's lost her pack.

What have you gone through?

Oh, this whole process is
a nightmare!

Oh, my god!

You know?

And, in a way, I lost my pack.

I lost 15 designers.

I went home.

I was by myself.

And this is my last k*ll.

And I need this k*ll to survive.

It is a great story.

It's nice when, you know,

A designer is on the runway and

Actually thought of it from

Beginning to end.

You can see it in a collection,

But also, it is personal to you

Too.

I thought you had

A phenomenal opening.

That was a great dress to

And I thought that you offered a

Lot of pieces.

You can take things apart, and

They all work, or they can all

Be interchangeable.

There were a few standouts.

The coat that you showed us the

Last time, I still love.

The yellow dress with the nude,

I'm crazy about.

But what I'm most crazy about

Was the heart sweater.

The heart sweater was

Phenomenal.

The opening look.

Loved the fabric combos.

I thought, in general, your

Fabric combinations, they were

Interesting and disparate, but

Somehow, they melded together.

Inspiration and your collection.

My inspiration for my

Collection was based upon trees.

So, did you make all the

Textiles?

-Everything that we saw?
-Yes, I did.

F the textile wasn't made, the
embellishment that goes on

Top of it, I made.

And the sequins and the jewelry

Is all made in my stepfather's

Blacksmith shop.

I mix my own paints, my dyes.

Mix my own chemicals to burn out

The velvet.

I buy the silver so it's all

Coiled and cut, soldered and

Pounded and textured, so

Everything, you know, starts

From scratch.

I try to bring native american

Culture in a very modernistic

Way.

I think this is fabulous.

I loved the suede chambray

Shirt and the shorts.

Same attitude.

I love that you took the

Craftiness that obviously comes

Second nature to you and put it

Into some clothes that could

Work in the city.

Of course, the most madcap

Outfit was the horse kind of

Skirt with the full headpiece,

Which I thought was so insane,

I loved it.

What I noticed was the crowd.

All of a sudden, I saw people's

Face light up, smiles.

Oh, nice.

I've been a fan of yours

Since the beginning.

I enjoy the difference in your
clothes.

I don't get super excited about

A great-fitting pair of black

Pants and a great blazer.

I get excited for something like

This.

I also love that you
make your fabrics.

This dress, for example, did you

Make the fabric for this dress?

Yes, I did.

I mean, that is a stunning

Fabric.

Personally, I would have not

Worn this red piece under it,

Because that was too much for

Me, but I love that dress.

That is such a beautiful,
easy dress.

And the fabric, that you can

Make this all on your own,
I think is amazing.

Is that you've been able to

Connect this originality that

You have with a shape that is

Very classic, very

There were a few pieces that

Were very strong, but then there

Were a few pieces that felt

Very--in terms of silhouette--

The colors might have been

Beautiful, but in terms of the

Silhouette and the styling,

There was a real disconnection.

You have such gift of

Creativity.

You just have to make it more

Understandable.

I think the artistry is

Spectacular.

I mean, really spectacular.

Inspiration.

I studied lots of techniques

Like embroideries and beadwork

And tapestries and handwork, and

I chose different eras of

Fashion, like, from the '50s to

'60S, and so I just came up with

What you guys saw on
the runway today.

I loved the gold coat dress.

I just liked the sleeve.

I liked the cut of it.

I thought it was a fun piece.

I loved the strapless, little

Matelasse brocade bubble dress,

And I loved the little
white dress.

I thought those three pieces had

A youthful sophistication.

This, it's, you know, betty

White on dancing with the stars.

-I mean, it's...
-No.

Old. It's like the length from
hell. She's holly hobbie.

The beading was very

Effective.

However, I think the choice of

The mix of materials, it felt

Dated.

That being said, women love

Things that twinkle.

Yeah.

I did like that you, um,

Cut--i called it the dirndl

Dress last time.

I liked that you cut
that into a top.

That, to me, looked much better.

I did notice a lot of--it almost

Looked like quick sewing, for

Some reason.

Like, there was, for example,

The coat, but I noticed
how wavy the hem was.

Did you just chop that off,
last minute?

No, it was the sewers.

We had some sewers backstage
that were helping us.

They hand-sewed it, and I was
trying to press it out, but--

That was a little
bit surprising.

Yeah.

Just coming from you, because

You are so--

Precise.

Precise.

You know, you have been in the

Past, and that's what has been

Stuck in my brain.

I think the black pants were
superbly cut.

I wish that you would have used

Those black pants with that

Little beaded short top that I'm

Insanely crazy about, because I

Think it is--

Yeah, it needs to be

Separated.

It is gorgeous.

There are some pieces here

That are really phenomenal, that

I would be like, "i-i want
that special piece."

Yeah, I thought the white
one was beautiful.

But you need to bring them to
the 21st century.

I think there were some

Good-looking clothes.

Absolutely.

But I don't know if
it was special.

-It's nice, it's not special.

He took a budget and had
stuff embroidered.

You know, it wasn't him

Embroidering all of it.

It just--i don't think it felt

Very exciting.

It looked like a dress out of

A catalogue.

I just couldn't say
that to his face.

I think that's being a
little too harsh.

Matronly.

It was just old styled.

If we had seen those same

Off-proportions in wild colors

Or something, maybe that would

Have taken it somewhere there.

You know, just, the color was

Old, the embroidery was old.

But I did think there were

Some special pieces, and if you

Dissembled them, you
could do something.

I liked the little
white dress.

There were some nice pieces
in there, for sure.

I liked the white dress, but
that's not a collection.

That's not a collection.

You look at stanley, where
you just saw that he didn't have

This kind of gusto to do it

Properly, and then you look at

The other two designers who,

They both really had something

To say.

Stanley didn't have
anything to say.

What did you think about
patricia?

When I look at the work that
this woman does--

It's incredible.

Wow!

How cool, new.

New, different.

You know, when I looked at

That dress, that was this

Perfect culmination of a modern,

Easy shape that a girl wants to

Put on, with this incredible--it
was mica?

It's--yeah, mica chips from
the adobe--

That's fabulous.

And horsehair.

-And that horsehair!

I mean, I loved that she took

All of that and merged that

Together.

That's spectacular.

It's different.

Well, her stuff is always
gonna be unique and special,

Because it's handmade.

That's why also she got here,

Because she did have major

Moments that surprised us,
that we loved.

Outside the box.

Yeah, it's pure.

urban woman worked in her

I loved the quilting.

The yellow quilting with the

Swayed by her artisanal

Techniques.

I wish so too that there were

Some more wearable silhouettes.

Can she apply the artistry

Into clothes that make sense in

Modern life?

Clothing and did a real

I think she is of the moment.

The zeitgeist.
