[ Judd ] I'm leaving san francisco in less than a week.

I know I've gained a lot.

But I won't know what it is until I'm away from these people.

I'll be bringing up something mohammed told me,

Or something rachel and I talked about.

Or everything pedro, and pam and cory and I discussed,

That's when I'll know how much it meant to me,

Because it'll be a part of my life,

Even though they're no longer in it everyday.

This is the true story...

True story...

Of eight strangers...

Picked to live in a house...

And have their lives taped...

Oh, lucy, I'm home.

To find out what happens...

When people stop being polite...

And start getting real.

Mtv's the real world, san francisco.

Tell me about this, um, monterey trip.

I think we should do something together.

[ Pam ] cory had been wanting to go to monterey and carmel

For a long time.

And as we came down to our last week here,

We got more motivated to go.

And we're trying to get, like,

Everything done before we leave

That we said we were gonna do.

I did say at the very beginning,

That I wanted to take pedro to the tide pools.

We'll definitely have to get our roommates

And go to the tide pools and hike around.

Sea anemones are fun.

[ Cory ] and I do kind of see a healing going on

In me and pedro's relationship after all.

Do you want to go ?

Yeah, I'll do it.

So, you're in on it,

Pam's in on it.

I'm in on it.

Judd's in on it.

[ Judd ] some of my roommates are better friends than others.

It isn't necessarily that we're hanging out together

Out of mutual dislike for somebody else.

We just enjoy each other's company more.

[ Cory ] it was just so nice to be with people that you trust,

And that you know how to relate to enough to know

How to have a good time together

Without really having to work at it.

Okay.
