[female narrator] Previously on "The Real World.."

[Lars] The last time I had like, a real girlfriend

that I had stayed together with

for a long time was in '.

[Mike] I think that the girl that I'm really gonna like

is just gonna be random chance, you know.

I'm gonna like, go in the store

and I'm gonna drop the milk on somebody's foot

and that's gonna be the girl that I marry.

[Kat] This is the true story..

[Neil] Of seven strangers..

Seven strangers..

[Jacinda] Picked to live in a house..

[Jay] And have their lives taped..

[Lars] To find out what happens..

[Mike] When people stop being polite..

[Sharon] And start getting real..

[female narrator] "The Real World, London.."

[phone ringing]

[Mike] 'Hello.'

'Hang on.'

'Lars, it's for you.'

It's one of your b*tches.

You just call on them b*tches and go.

I mean, I'm ready.

I ain't dressing up for those b*tches.

[Jay] 'I'll call a girl a b*tch'

just to, a way to make jokes.

I must admit, I find comments about

b*tches quite offensive.

I really don't like the way

language is thrown around the house.

The fact that they can just do it as a joke

they will sit around and go

"Yeah, we found these b*tches the other night."

And I just find, you know, really shocking.

I wouldn't date a guy that was like

ever even referred to me as "my b*tch".

Mike would say the word "b*tch"

and not think about it.

[Sharon] Because it's so light over there

now in the youth culture at the moment.

It's even got to the point now

where you can speak of just

any random woman as a b*tch.

I think Mike is quite representative

of a lot of young men in the sense that

he will speak about women

in a certain way with his friends.

[Sharon] 'Mike, I feel that'

you feel rather comfortable with calling

any female a b*tch.

Just right across the board.

Just as a term of reference.

You mean just to be like

so what are you b*tches doing tonight?

[Sharon] 'I can see you just find it hugely funny.'

'Well, how have you come to this point'

'where you feel so comfortable about using it'

just as a general term of reference for a female?

It was that corruptive "Eazy-E" and "N.W.A"

that I grew up listening to that corrupted me.

[Sharon] 'Yeah, blame it on the hip-hop, Mike.'

I feel extremely comfortable with you guy

because I live with you.

'I use it so lax around people'

'that I am comfortable with'

'that it's like, no big deal.'

Well, if it's not a big deal with you

it's not a big deal for anyone.

Why are you offended, Neil?

[Neil] 'Oh, I am offended by it, yeah.'

Seriously?

[Neil] 'Well, I find it astounding'

that you can only use it

and not care about it.

[Mike] The b*tch thing

I can't ever remember using it

with any degree of seriousness.

But obviously, some of the members

in this house are maybe a little offended

by that term, so I will completely

stop saying it from, from now on in this house.

Because I don't want to offend anybody.

I will just stop using the word.
