13x04 - Pairing Up, Breaking Down

Post by bunniefuu »

I'm the real world.

Yeah, let's go, baby!

Look at Tina!

That's my roommate, baby!

That's my roommate!

Leah has been sweating, and she wants him, and she wants him bad.

Mallory, to me, gets prettier every day.

I think I'm falling in love with her.

The relationship between CT and I has grown, and we've bonded.

Bonjour.

This is the true story.

C'est une histoire brésse of seven strangers.

picks to live in France…

in a chateau…

work together and have their lives changed…

they love each other…

find out what happens…

when people stop being played…

when you're on, dog!

and start getting real…

the real world…

parts.

CT, would you mind not taking a long shower?

A what?

Would you please not take a long shower?

Because I would really love…

How do you know what to do?

Get out.

hot water.

You never take a long shower?

Nope.

She really wants things done her way.

She knows that she's not gonna get away,

or she's not gonna get you to think the way she wants you to.

She's just gonna walk away and not talk to you.

It's too late.

It's got cold.

CT is just kind of a jerk.

All he does is antagonize.

You know, I haven't taken a hot shower since I've been here.

I'm not interested in hearing from CT every time he's in the shower.

He went, no, I'm gonna take the shower.

Oh, could you not use all the hot water?

That's too late.

I'm gonna use it.

Like, even if you're kidding and that's your sarcasm,

I just woke up, and your attitude and your humor that's really not so funny…

is not what I want to hear.

I just picture him as, like, a pig.

I'm sorry, but I didn't…

I don't think CT is very tactful.

We don't have anything in common.

We all notice it.

We all know.

I feel really, really terrible about the way I acted on Friday night.

I know, you do.

Because, because I guess I was just being really disrespectful.

I guess I was just a disgusting person.

I can never drink that much ever again in my life.

Ace, I didn't know how disrespectful I was.

I get ridiculous when I drink sometimes.

I mean, I do things and then the next day I say,

what the hell were you thinking?

I do not remember kissing him.

She's lying.

That was the most fun I had since I've been here, honestly.

When Ace tells me that our night together was the best that he's had,

I'm just really happy because I enjoyed it too.

I'm sorry you're in trouble, it's my fault.

Oh, no, no, no.

I'm sorry I hate you, but we're not hanging out when you get in trouble.

No, it's fine.

You and your next Friday night on the end?

Are you joking?

No, I'm not.

This is going to be another $200.

Ace, I'm never, never, never going out with you again.

You've lost all your privileges for going out with Mal.

I'm totally realizing Mal uses this huge crush on Ace

and she's not telling me.

And I'm like, oh, you like him, don't you?

These look like pajamas.

Oh, gold dogs.

Hell yeah, gold dogs.

These are a little bit drastic.

You don't think?

You talking about drastic?

We're going drastic tonight.

Openings of clubs are fun.

Oh, my gosh.

This is the grand opening.

Your hair, you look so cute.

Oh my god, he's letting cc do his hair.

I told him to stick it all out like that.

Just let Simon do it!

Just let Simon do it!

Leave him alone!

Stop touching his hair, you're making it look bad!

You're always right though, so it's odd.

Do I have a problem?

It's fine, yeah you're always right.

It's on fire, it's like round.

The most educated one in the house, you're always right.

Definitely right.

Okay, I'm leaving because this is not my show.

Did he say something about me?

He said how we all hate him.

I just took him so I could figure it out.

I don't even feel like they're trying to get to know me.

I just feel like they like the b*tch and complain

and I'm just getting tired of him.

How's he walking?

Wanna run?

They're gonna have so much fun at the opening of a club.

They are.

See, we live with trailer trash, like who do you think did this?

I don't even chew gum, so…

I think everyone's had issues with C.

T.

but being around Leah, always kind of bashing and saying things,

it kind of puts a bias in your head.

If I was him…

I'd shave my head.

Yeah, but he wouldn't look that bad with a shaved head.

Except he would have to shave his forehead because his eyebrows do grow into his nails.

Tina acts like one of the guys one minute and then trying to act like she's a good girl and acts the most way she's comfortable.

CT's being inappropriate and I let him know that he's being inappropriate and he's not doing anything about it.

I really want to stick my gator boot up CT's nose.

I went into the cupboard and my peanut butter is gone.

Oh, let's put your b*tch in.

You drank all my liquor.

What liquor are you talking about?

Yeah, you know what I'm talking about.

What liquor are you talking about?

You know, my liquor.

What liquor?

You know the liquor.

What liquor?

And I know you don't know.

What liquor?

Play dumb, go ahead.

The one night I went out with you?

Whatever.

My crunchy peanut butter is not safe in this house.

She's going to complain about me eating her peanut butter.

And it's like, all right, fine, whatever.

You know what I mean?

But I didn't say nothing when you're drinking my champagne.

I didn't say nothing when you're drinking my liquor.

Oh, but you let me.

I bought like twice as much ham.

As we did turkey.

As you guys did turkey.

My ham's gone.

CT does have a lot to offer when he's just nice and he's charming.

But then other times, you have to respect people,

to live with people.

And you do realize that he doesn't

like grocery shopping.

Yeah.

Right.

How much have I spent in groceries?

Like 100 and, you know, at least 200 in the last two weeks.

And you know it's all because of that one night out

that he wanted to order martinis.

I understand that, but I can't be entitled to that

for the rest of my time.

He thinks he's entitled to everything.

Is that mine?

I just feel like he's being a big turd.

If we're going to live in this house together,

well, he's going to have to change.

Yeah, I'm going to have a blowout with the unmentioned food

eater.

How are you?

Are they still being cool?

Oh yeah, they're all cool.

Real cool.

Are they hooked up?

Man, I actually kissed one of my roommates the other night.

Yeah, yeah.

Which one?

Leah?

Actually, it was Mallory.

The real tall soccer player.

She's a real beautiful girl.

But we're just friends.

We're just hammered hanging out together.

We just kind of kiss.

So, we don't like anything like hooking up or anything.

We're just drunk.

But that'll be enough to probably make her never talk to me again.

I feel really, really bad about kissing Mallory

because I have a girlfriend back home that I really, really like a lot.

I can definitely see myself with Kate.

I actually love her a lot to death.

But I don't want to be looking back on this experience and going,

God, I wish I'd done this.

I wish I'd been more myself, you know?

Sometimes I'm just really wishy-washy.

Some days I think Kate would be the one I need to marry.

And then sometimes I'm like, I need to just go have fun and be myself

and enjoy life to the fullest.

If you mess around and screw up this opportunity,

something that might end up hurting you even worse if you don't.

You're right, bro.

You're right.

I definitely don't.

What would you do, big guy?

You're my best friend in the world.

You tell me what you'd do.

This is what I'd do.

I'd live every day like you're sitting right here next to me.

Ace on 9 is just crazy having a good time every minute of the day.

Me being on 9 is when I feel like I'm myself

and I'm in a total comforting surrounding.

And I can just be free to let loose and do whatever and say whatever.

And that's when I am being myself.

Now I could be being Ace on 9, and that's exactly where I need to be.

He's, things with him are starting to get a little like different.

I don't know.

I stay close with everybody.

I know.

He's very flirtatious.

I want to be honest with Leah and kind of let her know

that I do have some attraction toward Ace.

At the same time, I don't want her to be upset with me at all.

I don't need a guy.

I mean, sometimes to fool around with, yeah, that's great,

but I'm terrible.

I don't freaking need the drama of a guy who's like,

I don't need a guy in my life.

There's nothing wrong with him.

And all of this, I mean, what evolves?

She gave me the number and name of the media person.

Isn't he known for his pleats?

Doesn't…

are most of his clothes…

No, it's cladding.

Clean your nose.

Oh my god!

What happened?

He just picked a huge booger out of his nose and ate it.

I didn't eat it!

You…

yes you did!

It's still on my finger!

Don't bring it over here!

Don't!

So bad!

Stop!

I'm not kidding!

I'm not kidding!

Stop!

He's vile.

He's like some caveman.

Yeah, exactly.

He is like hard for me to look at.

I'm actually kind of starting to feel bad because we've all been ganging up on him so much.

I don't know if I'm feeding off of you guys, the sound of his voice sometimes or just him or like seeing what I saw today.

That just annoys me.

I just can't, he just doesn't respect people at all.

I'm going to lock plants in here.

I'm not going to say anything.

And the thing is, I didn't want to say anything last night,

because I told you I'm not centered right now,

I'm not going to say anything.

I don't care.

They're talking about me.

I'm a bad guy, that's what I am.

I'm a bad guy, I don't care.

Spare me, spare me.

I don't even want to be in the province right now.

Because I'm at the point right now, I'm about to pop into law.

And I never do that.

How's your mate?

We're doing alright, we're doing alright.

I see true colors starting to come out little by little, you know what I mean?

Oh, of course, you will.

If you have the love and support of your family,

you have them on your side, you don't care what other people think.

I've been writing in that journal constantly.

That way I just keep going and going and going, it keeps me sane.

Just here, you know, I'm trying to bend to these people, you know what I mean?

Trying to understand where they're coming from.

Little by little, I can sense like tension building up,

and I can sense that people are getting aggravated with each other.

It's like a wave and it's just getting bigger and bigger and bigger,

and then sooner or later it's just going to crash, you know?

I think that Mallory is just so used to being angelic, this innocent virgin,

and she doesn't maybe want to admit that she has a crush on him.

All of us are in the jacuzzi, everyone's getting a full rub, back rub, my hand rub, neck rub, except for me.

I fell alone, for real alone.

Come on Tina, Tina you don't like me?

Just tell me why.

You're gonna argue with yourself, I will talk to you about it when I'm a little less…

What are you gonna do, try to fight me Tina, you gonna try to go swing at me?

CT is always so aggressive about everything.

If someone has an issue with me, I want them to bring it up.

I like to get it all on the table, everybody can talk about what they need to talk about.

I'm not good with confrontation, I like to talk to people and get a resolution out of it, not to argue and bicker and fight.

My crunchy peanut butter is not safe in this house, I bought like twice as much ham, my ham's gone.

If you wanna instigate it, you can bring it on right now.

Tina, I don't wanna fight you, act like you wanna fight with me.

Cause if I was instigating, I'd instigate, believe me.

Then we need to get in the house if we're gonna do it tonight, cause I will go off.

I don't wanna fight with Tina, I think she's a cute girl.

I'm trying to build bridges, I'm not trying to burn them.

I'm trying so hard to, for people to see that I'm not a bad guy.

It's just like all you girls are so alike.

I like you.

I don't want to, no.

I think Mallory is apprehensive to tell Leah about her feelings towards Ace.

Mainly because she thinks that Leah still has feelings for Ace.

The last thing in the world I would want to do would be hurt Leah.

Ever.

If Leah were to kiss Ace after I had made it clear that I was tragic to Ace,

I don't think I would be extremely upset.

But I don't know.

Leah is very emotional, she does take things personally.

Even if I did have feelings for him, I wouldn't act upon them.

I want to be completely honest with Leah and make sure that she knows what's going on,

because the last thing in the world that I would want would be for her to think that I've been deceiving in any way to her.

Have you crushed Kate?

Yeah, I told you that.

Like once or more than once?

Once.

I'm a defeated defender.

Is he a good kisser, do we know?

Yeah, I thought you did that one, right?

No?

Please, I would have told everybody by now.

Now that it's understood that she does have this crush on Ace, I don't really care.

I'm glad that Leah knows that there might be a little something between Ace and I.

I'm kind of confused at where I am with Ace, because I'm still trying to figure things out for myself.

I feel better right now, I feel a lot better.

Chris, do you want to talk at all about what was said in the jacuzzi last night?

It's not up to me.

I'm ready to discuss it if you want to talk about it.

All right.

You want to talk about it?

Okay.

First of all, I do not want you to be angry with me.

I'm not.

I don't want you to think that I'm like verbally attacking you or anything else like that.

Take it as you will.

I just hope it's constructive.

It would help if you would stay still.

Go ahead, I'm listening.

He doesn't seem to care or doesn't seem to understand or respect the fact that I'm bringing it up.

It's just like I'm talking to a wall.

Well, like first off, the kitchen cleaning, everybody should do their part.

When you tell me that you're just going to pick up after yourself and pick up after your dishes and stuff,

you're isolating yourself from everybody.

That's not true.

Oh, it's totally true.

It gets me over the edge.

Okay, like give me the numbers.

The peanut butter.

CT, I walk in the kitchen and you're finishing, you're cleaning off the peanut butter that I bought.

I only took two scoops of that peanut butter.

I come back and it's gone.

There's nothing left of it.

And some of the things you say sometimes, like we're in a metro station and you're like, well, who's going to get my ticket?

Or when we got lunch that day, you're like, oh, well, you're going to spot my lunch?

If you want, like I can start pulling receipts.

So what do I owe you?

You need to tell me what I owe you.

Everyone was like, you know, this is everybody's house so we should all go shopping for each other.

Same thing with the liquor.

A bunch of liquor and then we'll just hit you up after and we'll split it evenly.

Okay, are you holding this against me for that one night?

No, no, I'm not saying that.

I'm saying that.

All right, just start writing to me.

You want to put yourself at a higher standard or feel entitled to the fact that you bought us alcohol for one night?

That's bull.

You have held that as entitlement.

I feel like you're taking advantage of me.

What am I saying?

Let's go.

What do you want from me, Tina?

You know, you know.

You want me to sweep you off your feet?

I mean, you want chocolates, flowers, you know what I mean?

You want me to take you over to the internet?

No.

You want one night out with me?

No, no, no.

What's going to make you feel better?

Tell me, just tell me what you want me to do.

I don't even know what to tell you because I feel like I've been talking to a wall the entire time.

I know how you feel.

Just tell me what you want me to do to make you feel better.

I'll try more, I'll try harder, you know what I mean?

I'm sorry for eating your food.

I should have asked for your permission.

For cleaning up, you know, I won't make around.

Understand?

You don't want to have to pick a bath for anybody either.

Let's do it.

Come, come give me a kiss.

I'm very happy that he feels that he can open arms to me

and we can hug and be okay.

Maybe things will get better.

Hope things will get better.

I just really hope that there's some resolution out of this and if there isn't, then there

isn't.

Whatever happens happens.

I'm trying.

I'm trying hard.

I'm trying real hard.

We'll see what happens.

I don't think that anything that CT does is genuine.

He doesn't mean it.

He apologizes and he doesn't mean it.

Next, on The Real World, what's your name?

Em.

There's gotta be a reason why he's putting in all his effort to meet every single girl he possibly can.

This is gonna be probably the hardest assignment.

I am concerned that everyone's not gonna get their work done.

If I don't get them at six, then you don't get paid.

MTV.

com brings you Ashanti.
